taking requests

Note
Hey it’s me again I was wondering if maybe you can do a part 2 to my request maybe Harry and reader catching up and explaining where she was and how the Malfoy’s took care of her all those years and like maybe some wedding planning and the actual wedding (maybe Narcissa or Harry kinda want Narcissa Bc she was like the mother she didn’t have those years walk her down the aisle but I bet why it would be Harry also ) and the vows maybe something to do with stars cuz I have this trope where Draco loves looking at the stars and they did that as a couple and maybe their honey moon. This can be just as long if you want I just really enjoyed the first one thank you so much!! 💙✨
The Potter Twins pt 2
A/n: This is going to be long... @loxbbg
Read part 1 here
"I'm going out, Dray." Y/n mentioned as she opened the front door. Draco jumped off the couch and raced over.
"Without a kiss?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. Draco pulled her into his body by the belt loops of her jeans, holding her hips. Y/n leant up, placing her lips on his as she cradled his face.
Draco tried to deepen the kiss, parting his lips slightly.
Y/n pulled back from him. "I can't be late, Draco." She told him firmly, looking into his eyes. They were her favourite colour. If she could, she would gaze at them for the rest of her life. She was going to try.
"Where are you off to?" Draco questioned, realising he had no idea why she would be leaving before lunch.
"Having lunch with Harry," Y/n said, beaming.
It had been a week since the final feast. Y/n quickly filled Draco in on everything that they discussed. Draco was thrilled to know Harry didn't hate him and that the twins were making up. Y/n and Harry had been sending letters back and forth since.
They finally both had a few free hours to meet for lunch. Harry had suggested a muggle cafe near the entrance of Diagon Alley.
Y/n felt nervous as she walked into the cafe. It weakened when Harry got up to embrace her. It immediately made her feel better.
The twins sat down, eventually ordering some food. They could both tell the light-hearted conversation was about to get deep.
Harry asked the first question. "Where were you last year?" He asked.
Y/n signed before answering. "The last time I was at Hogwarts was when you and Draco duelled in the bathroom. Narcissa came. I thought she was there for him. But she said I had to leave with her right then. No one knew I was even leaving aside from Snape." She explained. Harry nodded along with her words, soaking it in. "After that, I went to one of the old Black Family houses. It was in the very South of England, right near a cliff. There were spells placed all over it so no one could find me. Lucius, Narcissa, and Draco were the only ones who knew."
Harry's eyebrows furrowed. "Lucius?" He pushed.
It surprised Y/n how similar they were. It was the same question she'd thought of. "I didn't know until after the battle, but before the Quidditch World Cup, Narcissa had made an unbreakable vow with him that I wouldn't be hurt." She explained.
"Oh," Harry said with a nod.
Y/n could tell he was thinking about how Lucius had been Voldermort's second. "I know. He wasn't a good person." She affirmed. "He did hate me until very recently."
"I'm glad Narcissa did that," Harry told her. "I'm very grateful she declared I was dead, even if it was for Draco's benefit."
Y/n had only just found out about that. "She wanted Draco to be happy."
"So, you're close to her?" Harry shyly asked, not meeting her eyes.
Y/n nodded quickly. "Yeah. I probably owe her my life." She mentioned. Thankfully, they were able to laugh about it. "What happened to you after the duel?" She asked Harry.
He definitely looked like it wasn't something he wanted to talk about. Guilty even. "Snape gave me detention for the rest of the year." Harry guiltily admitted. "I feel terrible about it now. He was standing there defenceless, and I just hit him with the Sectumsempra spell."
"He was crying," Y/n told Harry, making his face drop even more. "He knew what was about to happen."
"I had no idea," Harry admitted, feeling terrible about hurting Draco. "Was he alright?"
Y/n nodded. "Snape gave him the countercurse. I'm not sure what happened once I left him in the hospital wing, but he came to see me on the Ravenclaw vs Gryffindor Quiddich match."
"I can fill in some blanks?" Harry offered. Y/n quickly nodded, prompting him to continue. "Ginny and I got together." He mentioned, a blush forming on his cheeks as well as a smile. Y/n found it adorable how much he obviously loved her. "I served detentions. Then it was the 30th of June."
Y/n knew what part of the story was about to come up. Well, she knew what Draco knew. She anticipated finding out the other side.
Harry continued. "Dumbledore and I went to find the Horcrux. We did, destroyed it, and escaped. When we got back, Dumbledore froze me, but I watched him die." Harry let one tear slip out of his eyes.
"I'm sorry," Y/n told him, placing her hand on top of his. "Draco brought them in through the Vanishing Cabinet. He was tasked, by Voldermort, to kill Dumbledore."
"He didn't." Harry quickly shook his head. "He wasn't that morally corrupted. I've always admired him for not doing it." He confessed. "Snape had to do it, but then he fled."
"Dumbledore tried to protect you." Y/n realised. Harry nodded. "He knew you'd fight Draco."
Harry agreed, crying a few more tears. "Yeah, he knew he had to die. Snape was the half-blood prince. McGonagall became head then." Harry recounted.
"That was it?" Y/n asked.
Unfortunately, Harry shook his head. "No, there was a funeral. But I broke up with Ginny so she'd be protected."
"I'm sorry, H, that can't of been easy." Y/n apologised. Harry nodded sadly, still believing it was the right thing to have done. "Where did you go after that?" She asked, now curious about what Harry had been doing.
"On the run. Moody died over the summer, as well as Hedwig." Y/n felt terrible for him for that.
"Was it on the 27th of July?" Y/n asked him, remembering how weird Edwige acted that day. Harry nodded while looking confused. "Edwige was acting really odd." That made Harry smile at how similar their owls even were. "What else?" She asked.
Harry thought about it for a second, trying to recount the terrible events of the year. "I met Ted and Andromeda Tonks." He remembered. Narcissa's long-lost sister. She had spoken to Y/n about her, tears always in her eyes. There was also a photo of them, Bellatrix, Narcissa, and Andromeda, on the mantlepiece. "Bill and Fleur got married. It was a beautiful wedding." Harry recounted. "But it was attacked by death eaters."
"That was the fall of the Ministry," Y/n added. "Rufus Scrimgeour died because he wouldn't tell them where you were." Harry rose his eyebrows, choking out a sob.
"After the wedding, we went to London. We got attacked by death eaters but wiped their memories." Harry recounted the challenging, scary fight. "We stayed at the Black family house, and I learnt about Regulus?"
Y/n had heard that name before from Narcissa. "Regulus Black? Wasn't he Sirius' younger brother?" She asked, having seen a family tree Narcissa kept.
Harry nodded. "He wasn't a death eater, although he pretended to be until he died." He informed her. "I argued with Lupin." Y/n's eyes widened, knowing how fond he was of Lupin. "He wanted to join the quest, but I really didn't think he should be abandoning their baby."
"Hold on. Baby?" Y/n asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Oh, yeah," Harry remembered he had fully explained that part of the story. "Tonks was pregnant. Teddy is the most adorable kid." He told her. Y/n smiled at how wide Harry was smiling. "We infiltrated the ministry to get the Horcrux Umbridge had." He told her. "Then we camped and moved around a lot."
Y/n wondered what it was like. She wondered if it was something Harry enjoyed.
"Ron left after a while. Before Christmas Hermione, and I visited mum and Dad's graves." Harry continued to tell her. "Ron came back, save me, and destroyed another Horcrux." He continued the story. "We went to see Mr. Lovegood, who told the Ministry where we were. But he also told us about the Deathly Hallows."
"What else?" She asked.
"In March, we got captured and taken to the Manor." Harry hesitantly told her, knowing it was going to be a sensitive topic. "Dobby died." He let another few tears slide. "But we escaped with Luna and the other prisoners."
Y/n didn't know what to say. "What was it like? Being trapped there?"
Harry wasn't sure he wanted to answer. "Bad. Bellatrix tortured Hermione." That hurt Y/n's heart. The thought of her long-lost friend being hurt.
"She was crazy," Y/n confirmed. Harry nodded sadly.
"Teddy was born, and then it was the battle," Harry told her the rest of the story. He assumed she already knew or didn't want to know what happened at the battle. And, he didn't want to tell her about the horrible events.
"I'm very proud of you." Y/n made sure to tell him. "I know mum and dad would be too."
"Did he take care of you?" Harry asked.
Y/n assumed he was referring to Draco. "Yes, always." She told him.
"And you love him?" He asked. Y/n didn't even have to think before she nodded. "I'm glad you're okay."
"Me too." She replied. "Ginny's good too?"
Harry unintentionally smiled. "The very best." He checked his watch, glasses tipping off his nose. "I should get going though, I've got to watch Teddy." Y/n only realised then that it was already 2pm.
"Oh, of course," Y/n said, getting up to give him a hug. "I'll see you again soon?" She asked.
Harry nodded. "Yeah, definitely."
Y/n turned back to him before he could leave. "Harry, will you come to the wedding. Ginny too?"
"I'd love to." He told her.
"Good. I'll see you later." Y/n waved goodbye to him before they both walked off in different directions.
Y/n used a portkey to get back to the Black house. She expected to have Draco waiting for her, but he wasn't there.
"Dray? Where are you?" She asked as she closed the front door and looked around. He wasn't in the lounge where he usually was.
"Kitchen." The reply came. She made her way there to see Draco and Narcissa sitting around the crisp white kitchen island. "Leave while you still can," Draco told her, a smirk on his lips.
Narcissa quickly fixed that with a slap on his arm. "Draco Lucius Malfoy, that is not something my future daughter-in-law would do." She told him sternly.
Draco rolled his eyes, landing himself another slap. "Ow, child abuse." He squealed. Y/n giggled at their playful interaction. Narcissa just raised her eyebrows at him.
She turned to Y/n. "Come here, sweetheart." She ushered Y/n over into a hug. Y/n quickly wrapped her arms around Narcissa, savouring the moment.
When they pulled away, Draco was waiting with open arms for his fiancee. Y/n gave him a quick peck on the lips, which he, like always, tried to deepen.
She didn't let him, opting to pull away and look at whatever was on the kitchen island.
"We're wedding planning," Narcissa informed her. Y/n could see that, from the copious amounts of wedding reading material, inspiration photos, and to-do lists. It looked endless but exciting. "Take a seat." She commanded.
Y/n followed the instructions, going to get her own stool. Instead, Draco pulled her in to sit on his lap, resting his head on her shoulder and locking his hands around her waist to keep her steady.
Narcissa raised her eyebrows at her son, fearing Y/n would be a distraction for him. "I'll focus better, promise," Draco assured her, having seen that look before. She nodded slightly before starting through the whole binder.
"The first question is, when do you want to get married?"
The couple looked at each other. It wasn't something they had thought about. "Maybe winter?" Draco suggested.
Y/n nodded in agreement. "We did start dating in September when it started getting colder." She mentioned.
"Alright, so February or January?" Narcissa asked.
Draco nodded on her shoulder. "What about December 10th?" He asked.
Y/n furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at the mop of blonde hair on her shoulders. "Why that date?" She asked.
"We went to Hogsmeade together then," Y/n remembered now. No one knew they were dating apart from Blaise, Pansy, Theo, and Daphne, but they snuck off to kiss in the snow. She remembered how beautiful Draco had looked, freezing fingertips holding her face. She smiled at the memory and nodded.
Narcissa couldn't help but smile at them. They reminded her so much of herself and Lucius. Young and in love. "Alright. We've got about 5 months then." She said, opening the binder.
It was colour-coded with an index. Y/n could tell how excited Narcissa was.
"We're already out from where we need to be, so we've got a lot to get done." Narcissa sternly let them know. "To start with, we need a guest list." She told them, turning to the first page.
"Uh, well, Pans, Blaise, Theo, and Daph." Y/n started as Narcissa wrote.
Draco jumped in. "Those idiots Crabbe and Goyle. Whichever Black family members you want there."
Narcissa sighed. "Probably all of them then." She continued to jot down the rest of the names.
"Marcus Flint," Draco mentioned, thinking back to the old Quidditch captain. "Adrian Pucey too. Actually, just all of the Quidditch team." He told her.
"Harry, Ron, the whole Weasly family." Y/n continued on from Draco's list. "Hermione, Neville, Luna." Narcissa continued to write down the rest of the names they gave her.
They ended up with a list of well over 100.
"What about the Dursleys?" Narcissa questioned. It made Y/n tense.
Draco noticed and rubbed her hand. "Yes." She was hesitant to agree. "I'd like them to be invited, but I doubt any of them will come." At least then, she could say she had tried. "Could we have Andromeda and Ted Tonks too? With Teddy." She asked slowly, not wanting to upset Narcissa.
Narcissa nodded just as slowly. "Yeah, I think that would be a good idea." Y/n loved the idea that the sisters might make up. "Okay, perfect, so now we need a venue. It's going to have to be pretty big with all the people you want to have." Narcissa said, flipping a page.
Y/n looked at Draco and squinted her eyes. Draco tipped his head to show her he was thinking about it. She was so happy they were in it together.
"I'd love a castle." Draco declared.
Y/n could see it in her mind. A grand castle, fallen snow, fairy light. Grand and very Malfoy-like.
She nodded. "Yes, please." She looked back to Narcissa with a smile.
"Okay, I think I can make that happen. Are you thinking of a winter wonderland theme?" She asked.
Y/n shook her head. "Could we do a royalty theme?" She asked.
"Yes!" Draco cheered. Y/n could feel the excitement radiating off him.
"What does that look like?" Narcissa asked, still writing down ideas of what they wanted.
"Gold." Draco decided, making both the women giggle. "I mean golden chairs, chandeliers, white roses." He was definitely used to a certain life. And Y/n was ready to fit into it.
Narcissa nodded. "So very magnificent and exquisite." Draco and Y/n agreed with that. They both trusted her to know what she was doing. Plus, she would make sure she got exactly what they wanted. "So, that means you're going with a formal dress code."
Draco let Y/n have the lead on that. "I don't want a black or white tie dress code. I want formal, but I'd like to give a colour pallet."
Narcissa smiled. "Yes, I think it's a good idea. Just so everyone fits together in photos."
"Exactly." It was something Y/n had wanted since she saw the Dursley's wedding pictures. Different people in hundreds of different colours. That was not what she wanted.
Narcissa flicked a few more pages over. "Alright, what do you want for food?"
"A cake!" Draco exclaimed with a happy grin.
Y/n stroked a finger through his hair. "Obviously." She looked back to Narcissa with a smile. "I think a fancy sit-down dinner." She thought.
"It's like you read my mind," Narcissa commented with a laugh.
Y/n laughed back. "For desserts, I think a selection of lavish options. Maybe a cheesecake, panna cotta, something like that."
Narcissa nodded. "How about lemon meringue pie too."
Draco smiled, knowing it was his mother's favourite. "I think candy from Hogsmeade, too." He chimed in.
"Okay, we can do all of that. I think we should do fancy cocktails, too. Maybe a His and Hers one?" She suggested. Both of them quickly nodded. "Alright. I'm going to sort out all of the photographers, but what are you thinking for music?"
"String quartet for the ceremony, but I think something more fun after." Draco put in his own opinion. Y/n agreed with it.
Narcissa wrote down what he was telling her. "Lovely, so we are going to need to get booking a lot of appointments." She told them. "Firstly, wedding dress shopping. Y/n, we have an appointment in a month with a top London dress designer." Y/n's eyebrows raised, excited at that fact. "We're going to need to pick bridesmaid before the second appointment."
She already knew who she wanted. "Pansy as the maid of honour. Daph, Hermione, and Ginny."
Narcissa seemed surprised by how prepared she was but wrote the names down regardless. "Perfect. Just to get sidetracked, Draco, groomsmen?"
Draco raised his eyebrows and frowned. "Blaise as my main man and Theo. Let me think about the rest." He told her.
"So, we also need appointments for engagement photos, suit fittings, cake tastings, dress fittings, florists, and hair and makeup trials." She listed off. That idea made both Y/n and Draco stressed. There was so much to do.
"Maybe we just elope?" Draco suggested, nuzzled into Y/n's neck.
Narcissa raised one eyebrow, giving him a pointed look. "That's not funny." She told him seriously. It didn't stop the giggles coming out of his mouth.
"Okay, we've got save-the-dates to send out ASAP. I'll get that done." Narcissa told them. "Then you're going to need to register for gifts."
Draco clapped his hands. "Ooo, exciting."
"They're usually staples like sheets, pots, and pans." Narcissa wiped the smirk off his face with her playful taunt. "We've also got to find a place for the rehearsal dinner. And figure out a honeymoon."
"What do we need to do?" Y/n asked her, knowing Narcissa would be in charge of most of it. She wanted to make it as easy on her future mother-in-law as possible.
"Register for gifts, decide where you want to go on a honeymoon, write some vows and, Y/n, come to the dress fitting," Narcissa ordered them. Y/n and Draco both nodded in agreement. "I'm going to go back to the Manor then." She said, putting all of her copious amounts of paper away.
Y/n and Draco both gave her goodbye hugs. They thanked her for all she had done and was planning to do.
As soon as Draco had closed the door, he was tugging Y/n into him. His firm hands gripping her hips. He lent down to place his lips onto hers. It was rough and just the way she liked it.
"Mmm, Dray." Y/n moaned against his lips.
Draco smirked at her. "I missed you." He complained.
"Clearly." Y/n joked before pulling him back in for another kiss. "Wanna show me how much you missed me?" She asked, a shy smile on her face.
Draco couldn't help but nod rapidly before latching his lips back onto hers, slipping his tongue into her mouth. "Jump." He mumbled against her lips, wrapping his arms around her hips.
Y/n complied, wrapping her legs around Draco's waist while he carried her to bed.
~
Wedding planning was time-consuming. While Narcissa was taking the lead, there was a lot for Y/n and Draco to do.
Her bridal fitting was one of the first events. Narcissa went with her to the first one, where she found a dress. It was layered floor length, with thin straps, lace, and sparkles. The perfect mix of traditional and glamourous.
As soon as she tried it on she knew it was perfect. The look on Narcissa's face reassured her it was the perfect one.
"Oh, wow. You look stunning." Narcissa let out, wiping a tear out of her eyes as she put a hand over her mouth. She got up off her seat to walk over and look in the mirror with Y/n. "You've grown so much since I met you." She mentioned, pushing a strand of Y/n's hair behind her ears.
There were tears in Y/n's eyes then too. "I think this is the one." She said a smile on her face.
Narcissa nodded. "It's absolutely flawless." She smiled, still admiring the younger girl.
They brought it that same day. It was staying at the Bridal store until the bridesmaids' fittings.
Y/n had decided she wanted silk green emerald dresses for the bridesmaids. Their fitting was only a month later.
"Y/n, you look great!" Pansy said, running up to her friend in the streets of London. Y/n embraced her with a smile.
Daphne hugged Y/n after. Then Hermione and Ginny turned up.
Y/n had seen them, a lot. More than once a week. It was like no time was lost between them. They fell quickly back into being friends.
Surprisingly, Y/n had introduced Hermione and Ginny to Pansy and Daphne, and they seemed to be getting on.
"Hi, you guys," Y/n said as she hugged Hermione and Ginny. She introduced them to Narcissa before they all went into the bridal shop.
"Okay, we have to see you in your dress first Y/n." Pansy cheered, already drinking her champagne.
Narcissa had insisted on the best, most private fitting. The whole store had been rented out for them so they could sit on the luxurious sofas and try on dresses.
Y/n nodded, running off to the changing rooms to dry the dress on. She couldn't help the giddy feeling in her stomach.
When she came out, all of their mouths dropped. She looked flawless.
"It's stunning." Hermione was the first to speak, the rest of them nodding with what she said.
Y/n did a little turn for them, eliciting more gasps.
When she changed back into her normal clothes, she went to show them the bridesmaids' dress options.
They were mismatched shades of blue. A dusty blue, teal blue, ocean blue, and blueberry blue.
"It's so pretty." Ginny agreed.
"I want to see you all in them," Y/n commanded with a giggle before she handed out the dresses.
Pansy walked out in the darkest blue, Hermione in dusty, light blue, Ginny in teal, and Daphne in ocean blue. Y/n knew she had picked it perfectly.
From the hugs, compliments, and squeals of excitement, it was clear they did too.
Draco's suit was black with a light blue tie. He had wanted to go for any shade of green, but Y/n thought blue suited the theme better.
Narcissa helped them cross all of the things on their list of wedding-to-dos.
~
Quickly, it was the weekend before. The bachelorette party was at the Black family house in the south of France.
They took a portkey to get there. Y/n had never been there, but it was grand and overlooked the French Riviera.
"This is stunning!" Daphne said, looking around inside. It was magnificent. Stone walls and vines on the outside. There was a massive pool with a cabana. The architecture of the house was incredible.
The girls dumped their bags in their rooms before exploring. They counted 6 bedrooms.
"Oh, we should go in the pool!" Y/n yelled, stripping off into a bikini. The sun was out in full, heating the whole group's skin. The five of them lay by the poolside, occasionally taking a dip. By the end of the night, they were much tanner.
Dinner was a chance to get dressed up in white cotton dresses and walk to the marina to find dinner. They ate French food and far too much bread. There was also a lot of wine to drink and secrets to be shared.
The second day was spent out on a yacht sailing in the endless sun and crystal clear water. It was beautiful and peaceful.
"Are you excited?" Pansy rolled over to ask Y/n, stuffing a few grapes into her mouth as she sipped her wine.
Y/n nodded, not having to ask what she meant. "Beyond. Draco's the love of my life." She confirmed.
The third day in paradise was just as good. Unfortunately, they had to go home.
Draco was waiting for her at the door. "Baby." He grinned as she jumped into his arms.
"Hi, Dray." She replied as he spun her around. "How was your weekend?" At Draco's request, the boys had gone to Las Vegas because Draco wanted to 'do it right the first time, so he didn't have to do it again.'
He nodded. "I will admit, most of it's a blur." That made Y/n giggle. "But, it was great."
"You didn't get married?" Y/n asked him with a grin.
Draco just frowned. "Why would I do that?" He asked, not knowing about the muggle cliché.
"It's a muggle thing." She tried to explain, but his eyebrows were still furrowed.
Draco put her down, taking her stuff from her hands to their bedroom. Y/n followed him up there.
"I missed you, baby." He told her, scooping her up into another hug. He picked her up and dumped her on the bed, planting himself in between her legs.
"I've missed this." Y/n agreed, lacing her hands behind his neck to pull his face closer to hers.
~
The rehearsal dinner was at a Michelin star restaurant in central London. Apparently, Lucius had some connections in the muggle world.
A separate room was rented out, but Draco and Y/n kept it small. Narcissa, Lucius, Draco's grandmother, Harry, and the bridal party.
"Draco, we're going to be late," Y/n complained as Draco kissed down the top of her silk green dress.
He groaned as he pulled away, looking up at her with big eyes. "Can't we be late?" He questioned.
She shook her head. "Absolutely not. Now, put me down." She told him, unwrapping her legs from around his waist. They had a tendency for getting caught up in the moment.
Draco let her down, now towering over her.
"Let me fix your tie," Y/n told him, tightening the green silk. He had gotten his wish of some green.
Draco groaned. "Not so tight." He mumbled, causing Y/n to roll her eyes.
"You have to look impeccable," Y/n told him sternly.
"I always look impeccable." Draco declared with a wide smirk.
Y/n just rolled her eyes again before looking up at him. "You're ridiculous."
He pouted at that before reattaching their lips. "I love you, Mrs. Malfoy."
"I'm not Mrs. Malfoy yet." Y/n counted.
Draco looked at his watch. "You have less than 24 hours." He told her threateningly. "The time to run is now."
Y/n shook her head. "I don't want to lose this." She joked, holding up her ring finger. Draco pouted at that. "I'm kidding. I love you." She reassured him before kissing him again.
"Let's go," Draco told her, grabbing her hand and pulling her out the door.
They ended up in central London, thankfully not late to their own rehearsal dinner.
Narcissa and Lucius hugged both of them. Lucius' hugs were something Y/n still wasn't accustomed to, but she enjoyed them.
All of the bridal party turned up. They had seen each other during the day for the wedding rehearsal, but they were scrubbed up now.
"You look lovely, Y/n." Harry and Ginny complimented, coming over to hug the bride-to-be.
"Thank you." Y/n beamed.
She kept that smile on her face the whole night. Through Lucius' speech, dinner and dessert.
"Just before everyone heads off for the night, we do have one other thing," Y/n said after tapping her champagne flute.
Draco had raced off to collect the gifts they had to give to everyone.
When he came back, she continued. "Narcissa and Lucius, we've got these for you." Draco handed over the enormous bouquet of flowers and an envelope.
The older couple wrapped the younger in hugs. "Hotel bookings for next week in Southern Italy," Draco told them with a grin.
"Thank you both," Narcissa told them before sitting back down.
Y/n and Draco went around hugging each of the members of their bridal party and giving out the customised bottles of champagne they had designed.
Y/n and Draco were the left once their friends had, with Narcissa and Lucius.
"Mum, can we just go for a walk? I'll have her to her hotel room before midnight?" Draco begged Narcissa. He insisted on spending some one-on-one time with Y/n, and Narcissa couldn't say no to his pouting.
Narcissa agreed. "The girls are staying in her hotel suite, so you better have her back. Or you're going to be in big trouble with Pansy Parkinson." She warned, looking at him with stern eyes.
Draco gulped playfully before taking Y/n's hand. They walked off into a nearby park, Draco's arm wrapped around her waist. Thankfully, he had brought their jackets.
"Do we really have to spend the night apart?" Draco asked her pleadingly.
Y/n giggled. She had expected the questions when they first started planning the wedding eve. "Yes, Dray, or we'll have bad luck." She told him.
Draco huffed. "But I'll miss you." He complained, dropping his head on top of hers. "We can just Obliviate Pansy." He suggested.
Y/n looked up at him with a frown, shaking her head. "Draco Malfoy, we are not going to obliviate our friends."
"We could use the full body-bind curse?" He proposed.
Y/n giggled at him. "Absolutely not. I think you can just have some patience." She told him.
"Fine." He agreed before looking at his watch. "I guess I have to take you back now."
Y/n nodded, and they walked the few blocks to the hotel.
"Draco! I was just about to get your mother. It's 5 minutes to midnight." Pansy said as soon as she saw Draco and Y/n walk off the elevator, giggling.
Draco rolled his eyes. "Shut it, Parkinson. She's my fiancee." They had always had a playful relationship. To outsiders, it would look like Draco disliked Pansy, but he couldn't love her anymore.
"Children, calm down," Y/n told them with a giggle. "I'm here before midnight."
Pansy looked at her watch. "You've got three minutes to be out of our sight, Draco." She warned him.
"Could I at least farewell my fiancee?" He asked. Pansy nodded, still not going back inside the hotel room. "Without you here?" He questioned, eyebrows raised.
"I'll be back in two minutes." Pansy reminded him before slipping inside the hotel suite.
Draco rolled his eyes once she'd gone. "She's mental."
Y/n nodded with a smile. "But, we love her." She reminded him. He just rolled his eyes again.
"And we only have 1 and a half minutes before she storms out here," Draco complained.
"Let's not waste time then," Y/n told him, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull his lips down onto hers. They stood in the hotel hallway, kissing for a minute. After each time they pulled away, they were drawn back to each other. "Goodnight, Dray," Y/n whispered, again his lips.
"I'll see you tomorrow." He replied, leaning in for one final kiss. "Please don't leave me at the alter."
Y/n giggled but shook her head. "Never. I love you."
"I love you too." He said, and with one final wave, he was gone.
Pansy burst into the hallway only moments after, ready to kick some Malfoy arse.
"Don't worry," Y/n reassured her. "He's gone back to his hotel."
The boys were staying in another hotel because Narcissa didn't think Draco would be able to stay away from Y/n.
Pansy nodded, uncrossing her arms. "Good, now come in. We're doing shots."
That was not a good way to ensure waking up feeling fresh at 9am. But Y/n followed her in and drank anyway.
They were awakened by a knock on the door. Pansy checked the peephole, making sure it wasn't Draco before opening it. Y/n, Ginny, and Daphne groaned at Hermione, opening the curtains and flooding the room with sunlight. However, the view was beautiful.
The time on the alarm clock blinked 8:03 in red.
Narcissa was the one at the door, walking in and laughing at the state of the girls.
"Please don't laugh," Y/n begged after taking a panadol and putting on some sunglasses. She standing up.
In their drunken state, they had taken both king-sized mattresses laid them on the living room floor. Y/n managed to piece together that Ginny and Hermione shared on. Daphne slept next to her, and Pansy slept on the couch, facing the door in case Draco came knocking.
"I heard you had a fun night." Narcissa joked, still grinning.
Daphne groaned as she stumbled up. "Alright, who snitched?" She asked, looking around the girls.
They all shook their head before turning their attention to Narcissa. "Our room was a floor below. We could hear the dancing and music until 2 in the morning." She explained.
"Sorry," Y/n replied, feeling like she was being told off by a teacher.
Narcissa laughed. "Don't worry about it. Makeup and hair are starting at 9 though so you all need to be ready. I also brought you breakfast." She revealed a brown paper bag.
Pansy took it, looking into the bag. "Ooo, coffee." She pulled out the takeaway cups with a wide grin handing one out to each girl. "And danishes!" She cheered, way too loud for the rest of them.
"Alright, there are three showers so shower, drink coffee and eat," Narcissa instructed, acting like a mother at a sleepover.
The girls complied, all getting ready and eventually getting their hair and makeup done. Y/n hadn't looked in the mirror since she showered, but she was blown away by what she saw.
Even she would admit she looked gorgeous. The tears in Narcissa's eyes confirmed it.
"You look... there are no words." Narcissa said, her hands flying over her mouth.
Pansy, Ginny, Hermione, and Daphne nodded in agreement. All sharing similar teary-eyed looks.
Y/n ran off to put the dress on, carefully not to look in the mirror before she saw the end result.
When she came out, everyone's faces dropped even more. "You look perfect," Pansy told her.
Y/n grinned, turning to look in the full mirror. She couldn't believe how she looked. She had never seen herself like this before. The dress was tight in the torso, going into a full-length skirt around her waist. She ran her fingers over the delicate lace.
"I can't cry. I'm going to mess up my makeup." Y/n complained, trying not to let her eyes water.
They all laughed at her. "It's waterproof mascara," Hermione assured her. That started the tears.
The rest of the girls got changed, all coming out separately in their different shades of blue dresses. Narcissa's dress was tea-length and a dark shade of green. Y/n knew it would match Lucius' suit.
Then, they had champagne in celebration while the photographer took pictures. The sky was bright blue, and Y/n knew it was going to be perfect.
There was another knock on the door before it was time to go. Ginny raced over to answer it, knowing who it was. Harry.
Y/n heard their conversation. "You look so beautiful, Gin." He told her, placing a kiss on her lips. Y/n couldn't wait for their wedding.
"Come see the bride," Ginny instructed, pulling him over by their interlock fingers out of the foyer.
Harry's mouth dropped open when he was his twin sister. He couldn't believe how the little girl who used to untangle his unruly hair was now a bride.
"Y/n, you look stunning." He complimented once he could finally speak.
"Thanks, Har. So do you." Y/n replied, looking at Harry in his black suit with a blue plaid tie. She raced over to give him a hug.
Harry was still grinning when he pulled back. "Lily and James would be so proud of you two," Narcissa commented, pulling the twin's attention back to her.
They both smiled sadly at that. "That reminds me, I brought you this." Harry held out a bracelet. A bracelet with red stones. "I hope it doesn't clash with your dress, I don't really know much about that." He said, with a laugh. There were tears in his eyes Y/n could see.
"It's beautiful, Harry. Thank you." She held out her wrist so he could put it on.
"It's ruby, it was mums. She brought it when we were born because it's our birthstone." Harry explained. That made more tears stream out of Y/n's eyes. It was so sweet of him.
"Harry, thank you." Y/n thanked him again. "How did you?" She couldn't even finish her sentence with the tears.
Harry's tears were running free now as well. "Remus somehow got ahold of it." He clarified. The thought of their dead uncle made more tears appear.
She wrapped him in a hug again, holding him as tight as she could.
Finally, it was time to go. Y/n was sure she had never been this nervous. Her stomach was twisted, and she felt like she could puke.
Harry, her, Narcissa, and the bridesmaids all entered the limo that was taking them on the half-hour journey to the secluded castle.
When Y/n got there, she couldn't believe it. The turrets and grand stone walls. It was phenomenal.
There was a light dusting of snow on the ground and inside there were fairy lights strung everywhere. Harry held her hand the whole way inside.
Narcissa went in first and Y/n tried to peer around the doors to look at Draco but Pansy wouldn't let her. The castle was old inside as well but very grand. It had rounded ceilings and arches in marble stone. Y/n couldn't believe she was getting married here, despite having seen it before.
She knew the walk she was going to take. Down the marble staircase and into the ballroom where Draco was waiting at the altar. She just hoped she wasn't going to trip on the steps.
Ginny went next, the Hermione. Y/n could feel her nerves building, her heart starting to race. It was thumping in her chest.
"Hey, you'll be okay. I'll see you down there." Daphne mentioned, just before her walk. The bride nodded in reply.
Y/n felt like she was at the top of a roller coaster, just as it was about to go down.
"See you, Pans," Y/n said, hugging her maid of honour before she walked out.
Now she really felt like she was going to puke, and Harry could tell.
"Are you ready?" He asked, smiling down at her. Y/n had blocked out the music that was playing, her heart thumping was the only sound she could hear.
She gave him one last hug before he pushed open the doors. She took one deep breath before walking out, Harry's arm interlocked with hers.
From the top of the balcony, she could see the whole ballroom. It was more beautiful than she remembered it. Massive floor-to-ceiling windows were looking out on a snowy field, a tree perfectly in the middle.
The high ceiling was the most phenomenal part. It was painted with beautiful detail like the Sistine chapel.
Y/n scanned the whole room, from the white chairs to the bridesmaids and groomsmen. That's when she saw him. Draco Lucius Malfoy. He looked as good as ever and it made her even more nervous.
His eyes locked on hers, tears already on his cheeks.
Harry walked her down the steps, and down the aisle as Y/n smiled at all their standing friends and family.
When she reached Draco he looked even more perfect. She fell more in love with him then.
Harry shook his hand before giving Y/n one last hug.
"Hi," Y/n whispered, taking the place in front of Draco.
Draco grinned, tears still flowing. "You look... gorgeous." He told her, hand tracing her features.
She couldn't help but smile and return the compliment. "So do you."
Then, the officiant started. He read some passages from various books and explained the history of the couple. Y/n zoned out, already knowing the words he was saying, and admired Draco's face. The one she got to keep forever.
"We will now hear the couple's vows." The minister announced and Y/n beamed at Draco. "Draco."
"I, uh, I recently learned that we are all made of stardust. The particles in us have been around for billions of years, and they'll be around for a billion more. I only decided I believed in fate because I'm sure I've known you for millions of years and I hope I'll know you for a million more. Somehow, the universe allowed us to exist at the same time, despite the minuscule odds. It's improbable but I'm eternally grateful." Neither of them could stop the endless tears, all happy ones. "I went without knowing you for 11 September 1sts, but we were always looking at the same stars. When we did finally meet the stars aligned once more. No one knows this but for years we used to sneak out at night and look at the stars." Y/n giggled at the memory, realising everyone now knew about it. "I may be biased about my love for the stars, due to my name." Draco paused to look at Narcissa and Lucius who were also laughing. "But I'm positive our love has been written in the stars for millions of years and I'm going to make sure it is for millions more."
His words were so beautiful Y/n couldn't stop the tears. She looked around the room to see lots of other guests crying too.
Then it was Y/n's turn. She wasn't sure how she could top it, but she tried. Somehow she managed to get more tears.
"You may now kiss the bride." The minister announced once they had exchanged rings. Draco gently touched her waist, leaning in to give her a soft kiss.
"Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy." The minister declared, causing everyone to clap loudly.
"I love you, Mrs. Malfoy," Draco whispered in her ear.
"I love you too," Y/n replied with a smile.
It definitely was one of the happiest days of her life.
a/n: I've also had a request for a smutty honeymoon imagine so that will be coming out soon ;)
Hope you enjoyed it !

Could you write a Draco Malfoy x Slytherin !Potter!reader. Y/N and Draco have been dating since first year but haven’t told anyone because people think she might be the only “good slytherin” and to prevent Harry from freaking out they stay quiet till the Quitage World Cup where she goes with Draco and his father and spent the summer with them rather than the weasles . Pansy and Blaise know about Y/N and Draco because the 4 of them became best friends through the years (and reader won’t be only friends with Harry’s friends) . Harry and Y/N get into an argument when they return to Hogwarts the summer of the Triwizard cup and how she’s a traitor (EVEN tho that’s her house) and a disgrace for being with him. So she accepted that and that he hates her so she spends the next year mainly with her house giving the trio the cold shoulder and when the war happened draco and his mother protected her and hid her so Harry was looking for her that time but she was gon so after the war the 4 (Draco Pansy and blasé) walk into the great hall and the golden trio see that Y/N is engaged to Draco and Harry just apologizes and they catch up after all those years.
The Potter Twins
A/n: This has got to be one of the best requests I've ever seen anyone answer. I'm so gratefully you asked me to write it!! Thank you. Also, I did use lines from the book just to make the story work. I could have probably written a whole series so this is very long, I'm sorry. @loxbbg
"Y/n Potter." Professor McGonagall's shrill voice boomed. Just like that, the whole school's attention was on Y/n.
So many students, so much older than her, all focused on her. Probably, she had only just discovered, because of her last name.
The girl and the boy who lived. Apparently, they were famous.
On their 11th birthday, she hadn't expected a giant wizard man to come and whisk the twins away from the horrible Dursleys. But, he was nice and he knew their parents.
Y/n was always treated better than Harry. Aunt Petunia seemed to love her more, even letting her have a big bedroom.
Hagrid, she found out, had taken them shopping and brought them ice cream. While she thought it was all a hallucination when she was able to run through a wall, she knew something strange was happening.
After that, she had met a redhead, Ron. He was dorky but kind to the siblings. And, he seemed to know a lot about the wizarding world.
Y/n took a few tentative steps before sitting on the stool. She was hyperaware of the fact everyone was watching, not able to keep the blush off her cheeks.
The heavy hat was draped onto her head, weighing her down.
"Hmm, the other Potter. You would do good in Gryffindor." The hat whispered to her, making her widen her eyes. She hadn't expected it to talk. It was an object. How could it possibly talk?
Y/n was amazed at the whole thing. It still felt like a dream. The great hall was phenomenal, and she couldn't wait to explore the castle. It was unreal.
Y/n flicked her eyes to her brother. He was already sitting at the Gryffindor table, smiling at her. She hoped she would get to be with him, even though she didn't grasp the house concept. Plus, he was near the other girl, Hermione.
Hermione seemed to know a lot about wizards, and Y/n wanted to be informed. It was like she had finally discovered her missing part.
"I remember your parents. I think you could do just like them." The hat continued. Y/n kept hoping. Hoping she wouldn't go without Harry. The thought of her parents made her heartache, she knew so little about them, but she had heard so much about them in the last few days.
"Slytherin!" The hat roared. Y/n's eyes instantly widened, looking frantically at her brother. How was it possible? The hat had decided she would do good in Gryffindor. She wanted to be with her brother and Ron and Hermione.
Just like that, the hat was off her head. Y/n was speechless as she wandered over to the Slytherin table. Somehow, they all looked mean.
She hadn't noticed who she sat next to until the boy spoke. "I'm Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." He introduced himself, puffing out his chest proudly.
"Y/n Potter." Y/n introduced, despite knowing he already knew.
"I'm Pansy Parkinson." A girl with short black hair interrupted their conversation. "We're going to be sleeping in the same dorm, do you want to be friends?" She asked. A picture of confidence.
Y/n didn't know what to do but nod. "Yeah."
"Now shove off, Parkinson. We're talking." Draco interrupted the girls.
Y/n looked concerned at Pansy, but she didn't look offended at all. "Don't worry. Dracie and I have been friends since we were kids. He doesn't mean it." She reassured the girl, noticing her surprised look. The nickname made Y/n giggle, recognising the look on Draco's face as disgust.
"We're not friends." Draco joked, stoic face. Pansy hit him on the arm.
Y/n liked them already. She could tell they would be good friends. Plus, they filled the gap she was missing, not having Harry next to her.
Harry managed to get a chance to talk to Y/n after the feast. He quickly wrapped her in his arms, comforting his sister.
"I'm sorry we're not in the same house," Y/n told him, feeling guilty.
Harry shook his head. "It's not your fault. It's that weird hat's."
"It's strange, isn't it?" Y/n giggled, not feeling like crying anymore. "I don't know what so much of this means." She continued, feeling nervous about the whole situation.
"I know." Harry agreed with a nod. "We'll get through it together. I just want to know more about mum and dad, and it's good if we don't have to stay with Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon." Y/n nodded to that. They were horrible people. "We should go to our rooms now. It'll be okay." He comforted her.
She gave him another quick hug. "Thanks, Harry." She told him before turning around to walk off.
"Wait, Y/n!" Harry called, she spun back around to face him. "I've heard Malfoy is bad news, be careful." He warned. Y/n nodded, reassuring him she'd be cautious.
She didn't believe it, though, as she skipped off to the common room.
~
It was only a week into classes when Y/n figured out not everyone at Hogwarts was nicer than the Dursley's. Mainly Professor Snape. For no reason, he seemed to hate Harry. They dissected it later in Hagrid's cottage.
"'S 'cause yeh look like yer mum." Hagrid offered as an explanation. That confused the twins and Ron, who came with them. Hagrid sighed, realising he had to explain it. "Snape loved her, way back, but she married yer dad. He couldn' stand yer dad. Anyway, tha''s all history now. Unfortunately, he's one to hold a grudge. Don' let it bother yeh." He told the children.
Harry just sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "Okay, I'm used to Dudley, anyway." He figured Hogwarts was a lot better than the Dursley's house.
"What about yeh, Y/n, how's Slytherin? They're not pickin' on yeh?" Hagrid asked, switched his attention to the small girl.
"It's alright. I've made lots of friends." Y/n had actually had a rather good week. She'd befriended Pansy and a girl named Daphne. As well as Draco, with who she was very close. That was just in her house. Somehow, she'd managed to sit next to Hermione in a class, Lavender too, and a girl named Hannah Abbot from Hufflepuff.
"Good." Hagrid nodded. "Yeh best be off now." He told them, taking the last sip of his drink.
The 3 of them nodded, getting up and leaving the cottage.
"You know, we've got our first flying lesson next week?" Ron asked the twins, trying to brighten the mood. He could tell they were both thinking about their parents.
Y/n did know. Draco had talked about it nonstop. He was beyond excited.
Harry nodded as well. "I'm not sure I'm going to be any good." He mentioned, lightly blushing.
"I'm sure you'll both be fine. It is in your blood." Ron told them. Y/n and Harry both looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, confused about what he meant. However, he didn't elaborate.
~
Y/n went to watch Harry's first Quidditch practise, despite him telling her not to. He said it was a waste of time when it was just practice. But she was extremely proud of him. She knew their parents would be proud too.
So she hid in the Slytherin bleaches, hoping Harry wouldn't spot her.
It was slightly chilly, the night wind whipping at her skin. That's when she felt the drape on a coat on her shoulder.
Y/n whipped her head around to see who it was, only to be met with the blonde's features. She definitely had a bit of a crush on him. He was cute and the first boy who had ever paid her attention.
Draco took a seat next to her, giving her a smile. "Hi." He whispered.
"Hi, Dray." It was a nickname she had quickly picked up, noticing how it made him blush. "You don't have to sit out here." She assured him.
"I want to," Draco confirmed.
Y/n knew he was jealous. Draco had done nothing but talk about how much he loved Quidditch. And Harry, who he thought was a blood traitor, had gotten all his success. So it was big that he wanted to sit with her.
They watched in silence before Draco spoke. "Did you know Pansy is dating Blaise?" He asked her.
Y/n shook her head rapidly. "I thought she liked you."
Draco stuck his tongue out in disgust. "No, I hope not. I did have a question though..." He trailed off, cheeks heating pink. He was bouncing his knee up and down nervously.
Y/n had never seen him like that. "What is it?" She asked.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Draco asked hesitantly. Y/n immediately nodded, accepting the offer. She had never felt happier and more relieved.
"Of course, Dray." She agreed immediately his face relaxed. Y/n reached over and laced her fingers in his, not concerned about how sweaty his palms were. "We can't tell Harry though." She suddenly realised, remembering her brother's words. Draco had never been kind to any of the Gryffindor's, despite them being her friends.
Draco nodded. "Okay." He accepted. Y/n was very thankful he agreed to her request.
~
3rd year was the most stressful yet, for Y/n. She and Draco were still secretly dating, much to Blaise and Pansy's surprise. They couldn't believe how long it had lasted. But Y/n and Draco were drawn to each other, as friends and lovers.
Summer break was also difficult for Y/n. Aunt Marge's visit had ruined the twins birthday. On top of that, apparently, a psychotic wizard had escaped. The Dursley's didn't understand what that would mean. But Y/n and Harry saw just what dark magic could do to Ginny Weasly last year. It was devastating and powerful.
Y/n ran away with Harry when he blew up Aunt Marge. Aunt Petunia had started being much meaner to her, the older she got. While Y/n didn't know Lily, she thought it might have been the reason Aunt Petunia started shunning her.
So, she stayed at the leaky cauldron with Harry. It was the first time she felt happy to not have parents, there were no rules.
Y/n was hiding something. All the letter her owl, Edwige, was bringing her. All from Draco. She figured Harry was too tied up in his own life to think anything was odd. He probably assumed it was Hermione.
The whole train ride all Harry, Ron and Hermione wanted to talk about was terrifying Sirius Black who was trying to murder the twins.
The train's sudden stop frightened Y/n. As the compartment grew cold, she thought it was Sirius, there to kill them. When the Dementor's bony fingers slide open the door, her heart raced, almost beating out of her chest.
This was it. She was going to die from a faceless ghost. It started to suck the life out of Harry and she froze, not knowing how to help her brother.
Thankfully, the cloaked figure in the corner sprung up, scaring the spirit away.
Y/n rushed to get to Harry, but he had already fainted. He was dazed and confused when he woke, Lupin, as Y/n had come to known, handing him some chocolate.
Once Lupin had re-explained what happened, to Harry, he left.
The Potter twins connection let Y/n feel the fear Harry was in, despite being the braver.
Y/n was more than happy to get off the train, being able to sit next to her boyfriend. The Gryffindor table couldn't see them, so they were free to subtly hold hands.
It didn't feel the same that year. Draco was much darker and meaner. He was mean to Hermione and Hagrid, two of Y/n's companions. She didn't understand it.
Their relationship issues came to a head on the date of Buckbeaks execution. Draco and Y/n didn't agree on the situation but it got worse as she roamed the castle with Harry, Hermione and Ron.
As soon as Y/n saw Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle hiding behind that rock she knew today was going to be her breaking point. She didn't understand why he couldn't just shut his mouth and not say anything.
"Have you ever seen anything quite as pathetic?" said Malfoy. "And he’s supposed to be our teacher!" The look on his face was pure disgust. His eyes flicked up to meet Y/n's, not back down from the remarks he'd made as she stared him down.
It was then she realised it. He cared more about maintaining his arrogant reputation than he did his own girlfriend. The thought broke her heart.
Harry and Ron both marched to him, with Hermione one step ahead. Y/n awkwardly stood there, not knowing how to come between her secret boyfriend and friends.
Hermione got to him first, landing a solid punch to his nose. It was as hard as she could, landing a solid sound.
Draco stumbled back, Crabbe and Goyle rushing to hold him up. He gave Y/n a final look as he ran past her.
Y/n's eyes were already filling with tears. Hermione noticed. "Are you alright?" She asked.
She quickly thought up a lie. "I'm sorry... It's just all of this with Buckbeard is difficult. Can you tell Hagrid I'm really sorry?" She stuttered out, the tears streaming down her cheeks.
They all brought the lie, Harry wrapping her in a hug before they walked off. She stood there and cried for a few minutes, all alone. Like no one in the world cared about her.
It quickly turned to anger, her blood boiling. She stormed off to the Slytherin common room, knowing Draco was too proud to go to the hospital wing.
She found him there, on the couch, Crabbe and Goyle at his side.
"I can't believe Granger," Draco exclaimed, not noticing Y/n. "She's a filthy mudblood I could easily get expelled."
"Tell your father." Goyle prompted. Crabbe and Goyle were the best henchmen, dumb and wanting to cause trouble.
"Goyle, Crabbe, I need to speak to Malfoy," Y/n announced. They didn't understand what she meant. "Alone." They finally understood, scurrying out of the room.
Draco didn't look concerned, his eyes challenging her. "What do you want? Hanging out with your idiot twin, that poor, blood traitor Weaslbee and mudblood Granger." He was just as pissed as Y/n was. Maybe, it was the anger for Granger he was taking out on Y/n.
She couldn't hide it anymore. "We're done." She told him. "I cannot be with you when you hate everyone that loves me."
"Fine." Draco shrugged. "I don't care."
That was the last thing Y/n heard from him as she stormed to her dorm room, a sobbing mess. Pansy quickly wrapped her in a hug, not needing to know what happened.
~
It was the end of term before Y/n even looked in Draco's direction again. She spent all those nights silently sobbing. The slight silver lining was she had gotten much closer to Harry, Hermione and Ron, no longer spending hours with Draco.
He'd trapped her when she was alone in the bleachers, just like he did on their first week.
He didn't place a jacket on her, rather some sunglasses. "Hi." He murmured, hesitantly sitting next to her. Draco was sure Y/n hated him.
"Hey." She replied. The truth was, she missed him. Draco was a part of her, they had grown up in love. They were never meant to fall out of it.
"Enjoying your last day?" Draco asked awkwardly. They felt like they were back in their first year, acting self-consciously.
She nodded, not interested in his small talk. "Yeah, I'm all packed as well." She still refused to look at him.
"I'm sorry." It came tumbling out like he didn't know how to say it. That made her turn her attention to him.
Y/n couldn't help but love him. She never wanted to break up, ever. "Me too." She replied.
Y/n wrapped her arms around him, pulling him in for a hug. He just looked so precious.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Draco asked, the question was phrased differently this time but it still reminded her of the shy first year.
"Yes." Y/n agreed. She had never known heartbreak like being without Draco.
"Also... I want it to be real this time." That made Y/n worry. She didn't want Harry to find out yet. There was no one Harry hated more. "Will you stay with us these holidays? And come to the Quidditch World Cup?" He asked shyly. That was the bashful boy she adored.
So far, Y/n's plans were to go to the Durley's. She'd just lie to them and say she was staying with Pansy. They wouldn't care because they didn't love her.
'Yes." Y/n told him. "I'm terrified to meet your parents." She admitted.
Draco took her hand in his. "Love, you have nothing to worry about." He assured her. In truth, he also had doubts about his father. Y/n was a Potter.
Once they left the bleachers, Y/n went to see Harry. The trio was in the courtyard.
"Oh Y/n, we were looking for you." Ron pipped up as she took a seat next to them. She tried to not blush too much. "Do you want to come to the Quidditch World Cup with us?" He asked. Uh oh.
"I'm really sorry. I told Pansy I'd go with her family." Y/n lied once again. She felt terrible doing it but she had to. Plus, they weren't going to find out.
"That's fine. Are staying with her the whole summer?" Harry asked. Y/n hated to have to nod. She knew they were keeping a brave face on but they were disappointed.
~
Y/n's lie worked. She made it to out of the station with Draco without anyone seeing.
They got in the car and, from there, they travelled to the manor. It was fabulous. Better than she could ever imagine. Pointed towers and perfectly done gardens, she was in another world.
"Hey, it'll be okay," Draco assured her, taking his hand in hers as they made it to the door. She had already met their house-elf, who carried the bags.
Draco knocked on the door, trying to seem brave. Narcissa swung it open, arms wide open to pull Draco in. Y/n admired how close they were. She had seen Narcissa once before when she came to see Draco. They weren't introduced but Y/n admired how elegant she looked.
"Y/n Potter, right?" Narcissa asked once she had let her boy go.
"Yes, Mrs Malfoy. It's a pleasure to meet you." Y/n politely said.
Narcissa giggled, shaking her head. "Don't be silly, you can call me Narcissa." She said before opening her arms up for the girl. She hugged for just as long as she hugged Draco, making Y/n feel very comfortable.
Lucius walked over, making Y/n's heart race.
"Draco." He greeted his son with a handshake, much less warm than his mother.
Then he turned to Y/n, staring down his nose at her. She had never felt as small. "You must be Y/n Potter?" He held out his hand.
"Yes, sir," Y/n replied, shaking his hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
Lucius just scowled. Narcissa interrupted the tension. "Come, kids, we can talk in the living room." Just like that, she was part of the family.
~
The Malfoy tent at the Quidditch world cup was impressive. It was grand and dark like the manor.
Her summer with Draco was the best of her life, not that the others were much to compare to. Narcissa was the kindest woman she'd ever know. When she realised Y/n's birthday was the 31st of July, she insisted on throwing a large party.
She let Y/n pick out all the decorations, taking her on a shopping spree to Diagon Alley. Then, they had a spa day and afternoon tea party with Pansy and Daphne and some of Narcissa's friends. As much as she wanted to, Y/n figured it wasn't right to invite Hermione and Ginny.
That night, they had dinner out with the girls, Draco, Theo and Blaise. It was the best day of her life. It only got better when a massive cake was wheeled out, and a cart for of gifts. She was sure it was more than Dudley had ever gotten.
Draco's was the most special. It was a necklace, a traditional Black family one. On it was their initials.
Y/n made sure to stay in contact with Harry, but things had started to slip. She figured he was just busy but she missed him, and their other friends.
It was difficult for Y/n to get along with Lucius, knowing how close he was to Voldemort, the man who was trying to kill her. Somehow, they just didn't talk about it.
"Are you ready to go?" Draco asked, adjusting his black blazer. She couldn't believe how good he looked, a full black suit. His blonde hair parted in the middle. He had grown into his looks majorly over the summer.
"Yeah." Y/n nodded, putting her last earing in. They were a gift from Narcissa, real emeralds. She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach she was trying to shake off as anticipation.
"Okay, Mum has already gone to our box. We're going in with my Father." He told her, walking over to grab her hand. Physical contact was something the couple had gotten used to. It was no longer awkward.
Y/n took his hand, lacing their fingers as they walked out of the tent. Draco was taller than her now, he hadn't been in first year. His slim thumb traced over her knuckles mindlessly.
Lucius didn't seem to mind the two of them being so close. The sky had darkened, and the crowds were already cheering. While Y/n had never been to a muggle sports game, she thought this was better. It was noisy but spectacular.
Draco and Y/n talked as they walked, him occasionally bumping into her shoulder. It always made her giggle.
When she heard Lucius' cruel voice, she looked back at him. He was looking up. Y/n followed his eye line. The Weasley's. Hermione. Harry.
Her brain stopped working, and she froze. The look on Harry's face was pure fury. He was looking between her and Draco rapidly, but it was obvious. They were holding hands, and they had just been giggling together.
Those smiles were long gone. The atmosphere had immediately blackened.
Lucius' threat to Harry made her wince. Harry didn't even look bothered, just furious at her. Betrayed. It physically hurt her, and she gripped Draco's hand.
The Weasley group turned to walk off so did Lucius. Draco pulled Y/n closer to him, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
"Hey, don't worry. It'll be okay. Harry will calm down." Draco told her. She just hoped it was true. Harry didn't like to be deceived, and she had lied so much. Plus, Draco was never nice to Harry, Hermione and Ron. They probably hated her by association. "My father really shouldn't have said that." He grimaced. That's made her confident in her decision. Draco had changed.
Y/n nodded, trying to choke back the tears welling in her eyes. "Yeah, I know."
Draco stopped in the middle of the bridge. He took her face in his hands. "Hey, I love you." He reminded her before leaning down to kiss her. It was soft and filled her back up with warmth, making the chilling look Harry had sent her go away. She just hoped Harry still loved her.
Y/n tried to put Harry in the back of her mind the rest of the break. She did write him a few letters, but he didn't reply.
~
Harry was too busy to talk to Y/n on the first day of school. She hoped Hermione and Ron weren't giving her the cold shoulder, but they did.
So she spent the welcome feast with Pansy and Daphne. And, of course, her boyfriend.
He confronted her on the second day of school.
Y/n was in the courtyard when Draco and Harry had their quarrel. She always knew Draco was short-tempered, but she couldn't believe the things he was saying to Harry about their mother.
Y/n's shock grew when Harry spat back, knocking Narcissa. He didn't know her like she did. Narcissa had been nothing but kind to Y/n. That was when she knew she couldn't let Harry get away with it.
"Harry!" Y/n yelled, his attention flicked to her. His eyes were even more outraged than they were with Draco.
"What do you want, traitor?" Harry demanded, his voice was angry too.
"You can't say those things about Narcissa," Y/n demanded. Now she knew how mad Draco felt. Her jaw was clenched like her fits. "And, I'm not a traitor. I'm a Slytherin, that wasn't my choice."
Harry rolled his eyes and huffed. "You're sickening. Did you not hear what he said about our mother!?" He lectured her. "I don't know how you could be with someone so vile."
"Draco isn't who you think he is." Y/n defended. Draco loved her. He'd never given up on her like Harry had.
"He hates you!" Harry spat. He was closer to her now, towering over her. She had never seen anyone that mad. "You're not a Potter. You don't belong in our family." He said so lowly it made her shiver.
Harry was so close she thought he was going to hit her. That's when Draco jumped in the middle of the twins, pushing Harry back and shielding Y/n.
"Watch it, Potter." Draco threatened, glaring down at Harry. He was only an inch taller.
Harry scoffed, fists clench, ready for a fight. He looked around Draco, at Y/n. "Mum and Dad would have despised you. You're just like all those other awful Slytherins. I don't understand how you could be with someone as low as Malfoy." His words sat deep in her heart, and he didn't stop them from coming. "You're not a Potter." With that, he left, not looking back.
Y/n immediately burst out in tears. She couldn't stop it. Draco spun around to her, holding her so she wouldn't collapse.
"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay." Draco told her, wrapping her in his arms so tightly. He just held her. "You know they would be proud of you, Y/n. You're so strong and clever." He comforted her, his hands stroking her back.
Y/n shook her head. "No, I'm a Slytherin. They were all brave Gryffindors." She choked out.
"It doesn't matter what house you're in. You're so kind and talented." Draco reassured her. His heart was breaking, seeing his girlfriend in such a bad state. All he wanted to do was stop her from hurting. "I know how important Harry is to you. We can take a break until this all blows over." He reassured her.
Y/n shook her head, clinging to her chest. "No, no, please, Dray." She said as she cried out. "You're the last good thing I have left."
"Baby." He cooed, tracing her cheekbones. "I'll never leave you." He promised.
~
Draco stayed true to his word. He supported her throughout the whole year. Y/n was always worried for Harry. Despite the shunning, he inflicted on her.
It didn't stop with Harry. Y/n lost half of her friends that day. Hermione, the Weasley's and most muggle-borns refused to talk to her. She was always so kind that it troubled her.
Draco took her to the Yule ball, naturally. She saw Harry that night. They even made eye contact, but he didn't comment on her forest green dress. It matched her eyes perfectly, though, and Harry couldn't stop thinking about one photo of his mother he'd seen. They looked so similar.
She spent the Christmas break at the Malfoy's, receiving a sweater from Molly Weasley. That meant the world to her, despite none of them speaking to her.
When they got back to Hogwarts, Y/n figured out how irrelevant she was to Harry. Ron was the one that was taken for the second task. Everyone noticed. Not his own twin, his friend.
Y/n still remained close with Sirius. They wrote letters to each other throughout the year. He knew how worried she was about Harry.
The truth was, Sirius felt bad, James and Lily were his best friends and he knew they'd be disappointed to see the twins split up. Sirius was also worried for Y/n, he knew what it was like being part of the Black family.
He had hatched a few plans to get them to talk, but none worked. Not due to Y/n's lack of trying.
The third task was the worst thing Y/n had been through at Hogwarts. She could feel something bad was happening to Harry. When he came back through the portkey, she saw it. And it was distressing.
Voldermort was reborn, whether everyone believed it or not. Y/n could feel it was true.
~
5th year was exciting.
Y/n celebrated her 15th birthday before it started. This time, they had dinner with her friends. She didn't write to Harry.
Sirius sent her gifts, and he was starting to ask whether Narcissa was okay.
Just after her birthday, in August, Draco Malfoy and Y/n Potter were made prefects. They both read the letters at the breakfast table.
Narcissa was overjoyed for both of them.
At 11am, on the 1st of September, they got on the train to Hogwarts.
The rest of that year went on normally, apart from Umbridge's rules.
Christmas break was a sign that a darker power was brewing. Y/n heard the whispers under the door and she assumed the other side of the war also had meetings.
Y/n was shocked when Death Eaters escaped from Azkaban. After the Umbridge drama died down, they had to sit their O.W.L.s. That was rough.
One terrible day of June was Sirius' last. Y/n cried in Draco's arms for days over the death. She always thought Sirius was the only person who was going to be able to reunite the twins. And now he was gone.
~
Y/n knew something was very wrong during the summer. Draco told her he was a death eater. They cried about it together all night. The weeks following were stressful, and they weren't even back at Hogwarts. The war had started.
Draco and Narcissa kept Y/n hidden from Lucius' guests. O.W.L results were the first good thing that summer.
Y/n's 16th birthday was smaller than her last. Y/n, Draco, Pansy, Blaise and Theo were all hyperaware of the dementor attacks.
That weekend, they visited Diagon Alley with Narcissa. Y/n was at Draco's side the whole time, unfortunately, that meant she had a run-in with Harry and the Weasleys. It was awkward, to say the least. Her own twin still wouldn't acknowledge her.
Draco's task started at the beginning of the year. Y/n was the only one who knew about it, besides Snape.
Then Christmas, with even more death eater meetings. Y/n barely saw Draco. Narcissa had made her promise to take care of him, but it was difficult to get him to eat.
Draco continued his task during the second semester. Y/n knew that Harry knew about Draco. Their twin insight gave him the power to just know things.
It was getting difficult between Y/n and Draco. They didn't talk as honestly as they used to. He wanted to protect her. And she knew he needed to open up.
One day in May, Y/n rushed to see Draco in the hospital wing, concerned about how he could have gotten there. Did something go wrong with the vanishing cabinet?
"Draco!" She cried as she saw him lying on a hospital bed looking pale.
Draco waved at her, a little smile on his face.
"Potter." Snape hissed, looking down at the girl. Y/n didn't care he was there as she wrapped her arms around Draco. Snape was nicer to Y/n this year, which she didn't understand.
From a photo Sirius had given her, she knew she looked more like Lily than ever. She always kept the picture near her. It was the Potter parents holding up their twins, smiling.
"He's fine," Snape told her. "As for your brother, he's going to be in huge trouble." He continued before walking out of the hospital wing.
"What happened?" Y/n demanded, holding Draco's face in her hands. His cheekbones were more prominent now, and his eyes were more overcast.
Draco playfully huffed. "I was, uh, in the bathroom. Potter came in and used the bloody Sectumsempra spell on me." He complained, his eyes now angrier. She couldn't believe Harry would do something like that. But, then again, she didn't really know him.
Y/n noticed the way his voice faded when he talked about where he was. "Why were you in the bathroom?" She knew him well enough to push for an answer."
"Uh, talking." Draco offered an explanation. It wasn't good enough for Y/n to accept.
"To who?" She asked.
Draco groaned, rolling his eyes. He finally gave in. "Fine, I was crying to Moaning Myrtle." He admitted. His cheeks were pink with blush and he looked guilty.
"Dray." Y/n cooed, reaching down to hold his hand. "You can talk to me about anything you need to, any time." She assured him.
Draco nodded, thankfully. "He's going to get detention for the rest of the year." He told her, a self-satisfied smirk on his lips.
Narcissa was one of the last people Y/n expected to see walk into the Hospital Wing. She was in a black pantsuit.
"Mother." Draco greeted her, trying to move in the bed to get up.
"Stay put, you," Narcissa told him with a smile. She walked right over and hugged Y/n. "Are you okay?" She asked. Y/n just nodded. She knew a storm was brewing, but nothing had happened yet. It was only a matter of time. Then she turned to Draco. "Are you?" She asked him.
Draco already had a witty reply, clearly feeling like himself again. "Aside from my own mother preferring my girlfriend to me." He complained, a faux pout on his face.
Narcissa just rolled her eyes, like mother like son. "I can't help it. You get into too much trouble." She told him with a pointed look.
Draco scoffed. "Wasn't my fault." He complained quietly. The girls just gave him a look he knew too well. "Honestly, what are you doing here?" He asked. When Narcissa widened her eyes, he followed the question up with a statement. "Not that I'm not pleased to see you."
"I've actually come for Y/n." She explained.
Both Y/n and Draco looked at her in shock. "What? Why?" Y/n asked, most concerned.
Narcissa looked to Draco who sighed out an 'oh' and then back to Y/n before speaking. "You know about the cabinet." Y/n nodded. "They need it. The Death Eaters. To get into Hogwarts." That made Y/n worry. They weren't coming in to have dinner.
"You don't know this." Draco started, making Y/n's attention turn to him. "My task is to kill Dumbledore." Y/n's mouth gawked open. She could feel her hands shaking. More than anything, she couldn't believe someone would make a kid do that.
Narcissa grimaced. "It's all about to start." Y/n didn't need to ask what 'it' was. "So I'm taking Y/n away." She told them.
"Wait... for how long?" Draco asked quickly, gripping her hand.
"Draco, you sit in those meetings," Narcissa told him. "You know the plan is for them to take over the Ministry of Magic and persecute muggle-borns." That made Y/n wince. "It's not safe for Y/n to stay at Hogwarts, don't be silly about this." She strictly told him.
Draco sighed but nodded. He knew Narcissa was always right. "Can I still see her?" He asked, now thinking rationally. Y/n didn't like that she didn't have any say in the matter.
"Yes." At least there was that. "No one is going to know where she is apart from Lucius, you and I," Narcissa told them.
"Do I get any say in this?" Y/n finally spat out.
Narcissa turned her attention to Y/n with a pleading look. "You know we have to."
"I've still got a month of school left," Y/n argued.
"I know and I'm sorry we have to do this." Narcissa apologised. "It's all going to happen next month."
"Can't I stay until then?" Y/n asked.
Narcissa shook her head. "I promise you, if I thought you could, I would let you. You're a big part of what you-know-who wants, Harry more, but you must stay far away from this." She told her.
Y/n couldn't not agree. "Alright. We're leaving now?" She asked.
"Yes," Narcissa told her. "All of your things have been packed. Draco can come and see you once it's over." She promised.
Draco wrapped his arms around Y/n as he kissed her. It was one of the things she knew she was going to miss. She also knew it was time to go.
"Bye, I love you," Draco told her, waving from his hospital bed.
"I love you too," Y/n replied before walking out of the wing with Narcissa.
From there, they went out a secret passage, making sure no one saw. Professor Snape knew Y/n had to go, so he was coming up with the cover story.
Narcissa and Y/n finally reached a Slytherin scarf, which took them to a house she'd never been to. "Where are we?" Y/n asked, still holding on to the portkey.
"The South of England," Narcissa told her, making her brows furrow and eyes widen. "It's an old Black family house." She explained, opening the door. It was just as grand as the Manor, smaller, though.
Inside it looked just as gorgeous. All the decor was French country vintage. It screamed old money.
"It's beautiful," Y/n told Narcissa, having a look around the inside. There was so much light streaming into the room with wooden details.
"I'll make some tea. Your room is on the second floor, first door." Narcissa told her. Y/n nodded, walking up the stairs to find the room. It was decorated like royalty belonged there. There was a massive window that looked right out onto the coast.
It was then she realised the house was on a cliff. Y/n hadn't seen it from the angle the entryway was at. But it was spectacular. Lonely.
Y/n could spend her whole life there. She set her bags down and strolled around the room. It was smaller than Draco's was, at the manor. But it was much lighter. Almost the complete opposite of the Malfoy family home.
Once she had finished looking around, she went back downstairs to see Narcissa setting tea up on the coffee table. When she walked into the living room she saw the massive windows, showing the ocean.
"Sit," Narcissa commanded and Y/n did so right away. She poured tea for both of them before also sitting down. They sat in silence for a while, Y/n not knowing what to say. "I can tell you have questions." Narcissa prompted.
"Why is Snape protecting Draco and I?" Y/n asked quickly.
Narcissa sighed before answering. "Do you know what an Unbreakable Vow is?" She asked, and Y/n nodded. "Severus and I made one. He vowed to watch over Draco." Y/n nodded again. That vow must have expended to Y/n.
Y/n suddenly had more questions. "You need a Bonder, right?"
"Yes, Bellatrix was ours," Narcissa replied. Y/n was familiar with Draco's strange aunt. They had never met, out of Bellatrix's loyalty to Voldermort.
"Are you going to stay here with me?" She asked, concerned about being alone.
Narcissa shook her head. "I'm sorry. I can only be here sometimes. The story is you ran away, and no one knows where you are, so I can't be here too much." Y/n didn't know that before. Everyone was going to think she'd left by choice. Pansy, Daphne, Blaise, Theo. Harry, if he cared. She knew none of them were going to be able to know why she was gone.
"Am I safe here?" Y/n asked, now worrying about how she would be safe alone. The tea they were sipping seemed to calm her down.
"Yes, there are charms on the house so no one can get in. But, I'm also giving you this." Narcissa stopped what she was saying and pulled out a necklace. It was a heart-shaped gold locket. Narcissa placed it in her hand. Y/n looked at it. That's when she noticed the initials on it. Draco's and hers.
Y/n thanked her. "That's not it. If you open it like this." Narcissa instructed, opening the heart. Y/n noticed the emerald gemstone. "This stone is a portkey, right to the Manor." So Y/n would be able to get back to the Manor.
"I can't thank you enough, and I don't want to intrude, but I do have a personal question." Y/n was hesitant about what she was going to ask. But she needed to know. "You said before, in the hospital wing, that Mr Malfoy knew where I was staying. And I have a lot of respect for him, so I don't want this to come off badly." Y/n could tell she was rambling. Narcissa could as well, she slid a hand onto Y/n's to calm her down. "Why is it safe for him to know? He's you-know-who's number 2. Eventually, he's going to want me dead." It broke Y/n's heart, she knew it was going to ruin Draco's life. But, his father was going to have to kill her.
"Slow down." Narcissa smiled softly. That comforted Y/n a little. "Do you remember when we met, the summer before the World Cup?" She asked. Y/n nodded in agreement, not sure where it was going. "The night we met you, I knew. I knew Draco was in love with you. And, I knew Voldermort was going to come back and try to kill the Potter twins." Y/n's heart started to race at the mention of her parents' death. "I made Lucius make an unbreakable vow. Snape was the Bonder." Oh, it made sense. Lucius couldn't hurt Y/n, Narcissa had protected her.
She just didn't understand why so she asked. "Why? I mean, I appreciate it more than anything. But you risked your whole marriage." It was true, and Narcissa knew that.
"I've never thought you or Harry should be persecuted. My parents raised me as pureblood supremacists, but killing is wrong." Narcissa told her. Y/n was thankful for her honesty. She filled the place Lily had left, and Petunia hadn't tried to fill. "I love Draco, more than anything in the world. The only thing I've ever wanted is to see him happy. I knew he was happy with you." Y/n understood Narcissa's unconditional love for Draco, she felt the same.
"He's lucky to have you," Y/n mentioned, trying not to think about her parents.
"I don't know if I've ever told you this, but I'm very sorry about your parents," Narcissa told her. Y/n could feel the tears in her eyes.
She let a few of them fall. "Did you, uh, know them?"
"My last two years at Hogwarts, they were there. James was only 11 but he was loud and brave. He would even stand up to me with Sirius." Hearing both their names made Y/n cry more. She was crying for the dad she never knew, and the uncle she only had for a short time. "I noticed you at Hogwarts, I think during second year, and I had deja vu. You looked so similar to Lily. She always wore her hair just like you did." Y/n remembered seeing Narcissa but she didn't remember Narcissa seeing her.
"Would they be disappointed in me?" Y/n couldn't help but ask. Narcissa felt her pain, running deep. She immediately wrapped the girl in a hug, letting her cry.
"No, never for a moment." She confirmed. "I know it's not the same, but I'm proud of you." It wasn't the same, but it meant just as much.
"Thank you." Y/n thanked her again.
"No thanks are necessary. I should go back though." Narcissa stated, looking at her watch.
Y/n nodded, gently opening the necklace so she wouldn't touch the emerald. Narcissa held it, and just like that, she was gone.
Y/n found a good amount of things to do. There were movies and music. She still had some of her textbooks. Plus, exploring the house was fun.
But she did miss Draco. And the rest of her friends. Instead of using an owl, she decided to send letters by muggle post to the Malfoy residence, so Narcissa could send them to Hogwarts.
~
There was a knock on the door a couple of weeks after Y/n moved in.
She peaked out the window before seeing a tuff of blonde hair. It was Draco.
Quickly, she swung the door open, embarrassing him in her arms.
Draco hugged her back, lifting her off the ground and twirling her around.
"Dray, I missed you." She cooed, head buried in his shoulder.
"I missed you too, my girl." He replied, pulling her even closer. It was so tight she felt like she couldn't breathe.
When she pulled back, she had a thought. "How did you manage to come? Don't you have classes?"
Draco shook his head. "Quidditch match. It's Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw, so I came here instead." Y/n was very grateful for Quidditch that day.
They only had a few hours before people would notice he was gone. But they baked cookies together while Draco filled her in on everything she'd missed. As well as lots of kissing.
When it came time for him to leave, she was upset. But Draco made her promise not to cry.
~
Draco came back after the battle of the tower. Y/n knew there was something wrong. He didn't grin as wide when he met her at the beach.
There were already tears forming in his eyes, and it was late.
"Dray, talk to me, baby." Y/n pleaded as they lay together on the couch. It was far past midnight. Y/n was on Draco's chest and they were a tangle of limbs. She had her fingers running through his hair.
Draco sighed. "I couldn't do it." He sobbed out. "I couldn't kill him. Snape had to do it. It was so horrible, Y/n." He continued, tears still falling. "My father was so mad. He cares more about appeasing Voldermort than me." Y/n's heart clenched as she heard his words.
"Draco, he loves you." Y/n tried to reassure him.
Draco tried to accept it, but it was difficult. "I'm scared for what's going to happen." He told her.
"Me too," Y/n admitted. "How's it all going to end?" She asked him.
The truth was Draco didn't know. And she knew that. "They're talking over the Manor." He didn't want to be the one telling her the bad news. "They're going to go after anyone and everyone associated with Muggleborns. I'm not going to get to be here much." He hesitantly admitted.
"You've done what they needed you to do, though!" Y/n exclaimed, feeling outraged.
"I know. I'm not sure what they're going to do with me. Father lectured me and I just came here." Draco explained. It reassured her there might be some hope he could spend the summer there. "It'll be okay, Y/n."
She tried to retain that. "Can you come back on my birthday, at least?" Y/n asked.
"Of course, baby." Draco quickly replied. That brought Y/n some relief.
~
Draco was busy a lot of the summer. Despite having completed the task he was given, he was still Lucius's son.
He told Y/n all about how the Manor had been taken over by death eaters. It worried her. She also spent a lot of time worried about Harry. He was the only blood connection she had left in the world, and she had no idea where he was.
Draco came back on her birthday like he promised. He had more flowers than she'd ever seen in her life. That wasn't where the gifts ended. Jewellery, new shoes, perfume and a big cake.
Narcissa made it as well for dinner. She even insisted Draco stay the night.
By nighttime, they were lying in bed together. Draco's arms wrapped around her tightly. As usual, she lay against his chest. Draco stroking her hair.
When she looked up at him, she knew something was wrong. After all their years together, she could read him like a book. "What is it?"
"What do you mean?" He asked. His voice was a slightly higher pitch. Y/n recognised that as a sign he was hiding something.
"I can tell something bothering you," Y/n explained. "Let me in, Dray." She pleaded.
Draco knew he had to. "I have to leave early tomorrow morning."
Y/n knew that wasn't it. "I need the whole truth." Draco groaned, knowing she knew him better than he knew himself.
"I have to go early so I can be at the takeover of the ministry," Draco revealed to her. "They're going after Scrimgeour because he knows where Harry is." Oh. That wasn't good. Either the minister would give up Harry's location, and her twin brother would be killed. Or, the Ministry of Magic would be run by Death Eaters. Either way, their power was growing. Y/n knew Harry only had a matter of time. Then she would be next.
"So, no one knows where Harry is?" Y/n asked hopefully. Even if he hated her, she would rather he was alive.
Draco shook his head. "He's hunting the Horcruxes, I'd guess. Scrimgeour knows and maybe a few members of the Ministry." That made Y/n relieved, although she wasn't sure how good Harry's survival skills were.
"Am I going to be okay?" Y/n asked, fearing the worst.
Draco took a deep breath as he prepared an answer. "I'm never going to let him get to you, I promise. My Father's vow will make sure he can't either. No one else knows you're here." He reassured her. Y/n just hoped it was true, Draco could read that.
"So you're going back to Hogwarts?" Y/n couldn't help but ask.
Draco nodded. "I think Snape is going to be appointed Headmaster. I'll be safe there." That reassured Y/n to no end. He chuckled slightly, a smile on his face. "We were going to be Head boy and girl." He explained. Y/n's face dropped as she tried not to cry. "Hey, hey, hey." Draco noticed. "It's just the way it happened."
"I know." She nodded. "It just could have been the best year ever."
"When this is all over, we're going to have the best year." He assured her. Y/n tried to hang onto that.
It got difficult the further the year dragged on. Y/n barely saw Draco. She did receive letters about how horrible things had gotten. Hogwarts was gloomier, no one could find Harry, Snape's regime was intense. Y/n was thankful she was away from the whole mess.
Just before Christmas, she found out Luna Lovegood had been kidnapped. Draco had started to detest the cause he was fighting for. He never said so, but she could infer it from what he wrote.
In March, she discovered Harry had been captured. Draco was the one who had to identify him, and he felt horrible about it. He cried on her shoulder, begging her to forgive him when he came to see her. Y/n was never mad at Draco. She was smart enough to know he had to do it. And, deep down, she could feel that Harry was okay.
Draco was in a worse state when they escaped. Not because he wanted Harry to be killed. Because his own aunt had murdered Dobby. While he was taught to hate the house-elves, Dobby was almost his younger sibling.
All Draco could feel was split, unsure of what to do.
Draco told her it was all going to happen on May 1st. The battle of Hogwarts. Y/n spent the whole day riddled with anxiety. She spent a whole 3 days wide awake, waiting for news.
She felt a cursing pain through her head at some point on the 2nd of May. Then the visions started, of Harry and Dumbledore at a train station. She realised she was seeing inside Harry's vision. When he made the choice to return to his body, Y/n knew everything would be alright.
Y/n anxious sat on the couch until 3 people appeared. It was only the early hours of the morning. She immediately ran to Draco wrapping her arms around him. He was unkempt, and his hair was a mess. He hugged her back, pulling her into his chest. She had never seen him looking as disturbed.
"What happened?" Y/n asked, turning to give Narcissa a hug. Much to her surprise, Lucius shook her hand. It was the first time they'd ever done something like that.
"We left," Lucius told her. That was also the first time he'd ever properly talked to her. She didn't understand.
They explained it all to her. How Harry sacrificed himself, how he died, more importantly how Narcissa discovered he was alive. Y/n hung on every word as Narcissa told her how she had lied to Voldermort. She also told Y/n Harry asked if she was still alive. Harry still cared about her.
By that point Draco, Narcissa and Y/n were all crying.
The sun had just started rising when Y/n realised it.
Suddenly, she had a massive headache. The kind she knew Harry used to have. And she knew what it meant.
"Voldermort's dead," Y/n announced, causing all of their eyes to widen. "I just know. I can feel it. Harry killed him." She felt more connected to Harry than she had in years, but she knew.
There were no words any of them said as they hugged. She could feel her head beating rapidly, the same as Draco's.
"Who died?" Y/n finally asked the question she was terrified to ask. Harry was the only one she knew was alive from the good side.
"Bellatrix." Narcissa sobbed out, Lucius immediately pulling her into a hug. It was one of the first times Y/n had seen them acting so intimately.
Draco continued giving Y/n the list. Every second felt like an hour as she hoped none of her friends died. "Fred Weasley." She could only think about the heartbreak that would have caused her brother and his friends. "Snape too." Draco let a few tears fall and Y/n rushed to wipe them. "Lupin and Tonks." Lupin was the last person alive who really knew her parents. Now her chances of knowing about them were over. "There were a lot of others too but everyone else we are close to is okay."
"Good." Y/n nodded before wrapping him in a hug. They stayed like that for a few minutes. Both couples holding each other, all feeling extremely grateful.
"We should go back home," Narcissa told them, glancing at the clock on the wall. "We'll have breakfast." She promised.
Draco enthusiastically nodded. "I'm starving." He mentioned.
Narcissa reached out to grab his hand. "You haven't eaten in days."
Y/n quickly turned her attention to Draco. "Dray." She told him, hitting his arm. "You can't do that."
"I won't, ever again." He promised, his hand wrapping around her waist. "As long as you're there to cook for me." He cheekily quipped, looking at Y/n with a grin. It was the first one she had seen in a while.
Narcissa and Lucius both laughed at the younger couple who reminded them of themselves. "You're dreaming," Y/n replied, bumping into his shoulder. Y/n opened her necklace.
Narcissa, Draco, Lucius and Y/n all touched the emerald. Just like that, they arrived in the Manor living room. It was like Y/n remembered, still as dark. She did feel better about being there, knowing no death eaters were trying to kill her brother.
Over pancakes, they laughed and talked. The world finally felt peaceful again. It was the first time Y/n had been happy in weeks.
An owl knocked at the window, around midday and Y/n took the two letters out of its mouth.
"Dray." She told him, handing his one over to him. "It's from Hogwarts." She told Narcissa and Lucius. They both opened their letters and read them. "In June, they're having an end of year feast," Y/n explained.
"So, we've got a month off school?" Draco looked thrilled by the news.
Narcissa chuckled. "What does it say about your exams?" She asked.
Draco read further down. "Mine says my grades from last year will be considered my grades for this year and I can become an Aurora. Or I can go back to Hogwarts." There was hopefulness in his voice Y/n had missed.
"Draco!" Narcissa cheered, jumping up to hug him. "Congratulations."
"Mine says the same." Y/n realised. "But how is that possible?" She asked, looking at Narcissa.
"I'm not sure." The woman replied, looking just as confused.
"I may have a few words with the acting Ministry when Voldermort was in charge," Lucius reported. All 3 of them were shocked by the confession.
Y/n was overcome with appreciation. "Thank you, sir."
"Please, Lucius is fine." That surprised Y/n but it was nice to hear he might not have hated her as much as she thought. It was the first time Y/n had seen a smile on his face. "What are you two planning on doing with your time off?" He asked the younger couple.
Draco and Y/n met each other's eyes, they hadn't thought about it. "What are we meant to do?" Draco asked.
"The house on the cliff is empty, if you want to spend more time there, Y/n," Narcissa mentioned. Draco grinned widely, nodding his head. He accepted the offer. "Slow down, Y/n?" Narcissa asked, turning her attention to Y/n.
"Yes, I'd love to. Thank you." Y/n affirmed her boyfriend's acceptance.
"When can we go?" Draco asked.
Lucius chuckled. "You don't want to spend time with your parents, son?" He joked. Another first. "You're going of age now, Draco. Y/n too. I think you've both earned the privilege of being treated like adults." He told them.
"You have to be back for your birthday, Draco. We're going to throw a party." Narcissa instructed, raising her eyebrows at him.
"So I'm not an adult?" Draco quipped back.
Narcissa turned to Y/n. "Will you make sure he comes back?" Y/n nodded. "Then you are both free to leave after I get a hug." She informed them, opening her arms up. Draco hugged her first, standing much taller than her.
Then he left to get his stuff. Lucius followed him up the stairs. Y/n walked over to Narcissa, embracing her.
"Thank you, for everything." Y/n mentioned in her arms.
"It's never a problem, sweetness," Narcissa replied, kissing the girl on the forehead.
~
Y/n and Draco took a different portkey to the house. Both of them were buzzing to have a month together after being apart for so long. They finally felt free and independent.
For a few weeks, they just hung out, reacquainting with each other. They spent time in London, seeing muggle sights and shopping. As well as the small, nearby muggle town. It had the cutest cafe.
Draco and Y/n also hung out with Pansy, Theo and Blaise again. They were all thrilled to see her. She explained the whole situation to them and they completely understood.
Between them, it was like no time was lost.
One summer evening, Draco had insisted on cooking Y/n dinner. He explained it was a date. She was to dress up nice like they were going out. Draco was in a full black suit, matching Y/n's sparkling black dress.
He even set the outdoor table, making Y/n sit there and wait for him to bring out dinner.
It was a pasta dish. The same one Narcissa had made the first time Y/n met the Malfoy family.
"Thank you, Dray," Y/n said as they sat, looking out at the view. The sun was just setting and the whole sky was painted pinks and oranges. In the distance, there was the sound of waves breaking on the cliff.
Draco looked nervous, she hadn't seen him like that for a long time. "Uh, I had a question for you." He stuttered out, cheeks turning pink.
Y/n sent him a soft smile, trying to help him calm down. His nerves were worrying her. What could he possibly ask her? Y/n knew exactly what was about to happen when Draco slid off his chair and down onto one knee. Her hands immediately came over her mouth. Tears were already pricking her eyes. He reached into his back pocket, producing a green velvet box.
"I've, uh, I've thought about doing this for a really long time. When we first met I knew you were the one who was always going to hold a special part of my heart. It was everything about you. I never believed in love at first sight until I met you." Y/n was full-on sobbing at Draco's words. They were the sweetest thing anyone had ever said. "I knew from when I met you that I'd always love you. But I had no idea you'd bear to be around me for long enough. I was kind of insufferable." Y/n and Draco both chuckled. "I'm so grateful I even got the chance to know someone as clever, kind, funny and ambitious as you. Once I'd asked you out, I knew I needed you to be mine forever." Draco let a few tears out, stopping to wipe them. "I've done a lot of stupid things, hurt a lot of people and you're far too good for me, I know that. But, I swear, I'm going to spend every day making it up however I can. I'm going to spend every day making it up to you too. If you let me. I think I knew you before I understood myself. You truly are my best friend and the most important person to me in the world." Neither of them could stop the uncontrollable tears they let out. "So, uh, I've got to ask now. Y/n Potter, will you do me the honours of marrying me?" Draco opened the ring box, revealing a huge diamond ring. It looked vintage and the prettiest thing Y/n had ever seen.
Y/n wiped a few stray tears off her cheeks, leaning down to do that same to Draco. "Yes, Draco. A million times yes." He was grinning as wide as she'd ever seen as he slipped the ring on her finger.
He stood up, holding her face in his hands. "I love you." He told her, leaning down to kiss her gently.
"I love you too," Y/n replied, eyes closed with her forehead intimately pressed against Draco's. When she moved her eyes she looked down at the ring. "It's so beautiful, Dray."
Draco nodded before explaining the story. "It's, um, a Black family heirloom. If Mum, Aunt Bella or Aunt Andromeda were boys, they would have gotten it. Luckily for me, it skipped a generation."
"It's stunning." Y/n leant back up to place a kiss on his lips. "Now, what have you cooked for dessert?" She asked, giggling lightly.
Draco rolled his eyes. "Your favourite, of course, but only because you said yes." He revelled.
~
Y/n woke Draco up on his birthday with an assortment of gifts. After they ate breakfast and unwrapped presents, they went to the Manor.
Y/n knocked on the door happily. Draco's left hand entwined with her right one. Narcissa swung it open and embarrassed Y/n in an enthusiastic hug. She quickly grabbed Y/n's left hand, looking at the ring.
"I knew it would look perfect on you," Narcissa mentioned, tracing over the ring. Y/n grinned at her.
"It is perfect," Y/n said, grinning at Draco.
"You're perfect." Draco simply replied. Narcissa chuckled at the two of them. "Can I have my hug?" He asked Narcissa.
Narcissa dropped Y/n's hand hesitantly to pull him in. "18 but you're still acting like a petulant child." She joked making Draco pull a face of mock offence. "Happy birthday, Draco."
"Are you keeping them in here, Sissy?" Lucius asked, walking around the corner. Narcissa rolled her eyes at him. "Happy birthday, son." He said, wrapping Draco in a hug. "Y/n." Lucius turned to her.
"Mr Malfoy." Y/n greeted. She thought she was in trouble when he raised his eyebrows and shot her a pointed look. The smile on his lips assured her she wasn't about to be told off. "Lucius." She corrected herself.
Y/n held out a hand to shake his but he shook his head, opening his arms. "You're my future daughter-in-law, come here." He insisted, and Y/n hugged him, trying to avoid showing her shock.
After they had lunch and Draco opened more presents, Pansy, Daphne, Theo, Blaise, other friends and several Malfoy and Black family members came over. It was a phenomenal party.
Pansy raced right over to Y/n, flinging her arms around the girl.
"Hi Pansy, it's actually my birthday." Draco sarcastically greeted her.
Pansy rolled her eyes. "Happy birthday, you big baby." She said, giving him a hug too. "I'm sorry I missed my best friend." Draco faked offence.
Theo, Blaise and Daphne all came to hug the couple as well. Neither Y/n nor Draco had realised they didn't know about the engagement.
They all quickly got flutes of champagne, raising them to toast each Draco.
That's when Pansy saw it. "Oh, Merlin. Is that an engagement ring!?" Pansy shouted, grabbing Y/n's left hand.
Both Y/n and Draco awkwardly laughed. "Yes," Y/n confirmed as Pansy admired the ring, showing Y/n's hand to Daphne and the boys.
"That's not just any ring. That's a Black Family ring." Blaise noticed.
Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. "How did you know that?" She asked, looking back at Draco.
He was blushing pink. "Loverboy, here, has been talking about giving it to you since 1st year," Theo informed Y/n. "He wouldn't shut up about it most nights." Her eyes widened as she looked at a red-faced Draco.
"You never told me that," Y/n mentioned, nudging his chest. Draco groaned, wrapping his arm around Y/n's waist.
"Because it's really embarrassing." Draco quietly stated.
Daphne pattered Draco's arm. "Y/n used to talk about you in her sleep." Daphne declared. That made Y/n's cheeks heat. Draco and the rest of the friend group burst out laughing.
~
It was finally the day of the final Hogwarts feast. Y/n didn't ever think, at 11 years old, it was going to end like this. In 7 years, she had learnt so much more than most people learnt in their lifetime.
"Pans, Blaise." Y/n opened the door of the Black's seaside house to invite Pansy and Blaise in.
Pansy and Blaise were both dressed in formal clothing as they hugged Y/n. She was wearing a deep green dress that matched Draco's suit's tie.
"You look lovely." Pansy complimented her.
"Pansy, look at you!" Y/n returned the compliment, instructing Pansy to do a spin of her silver dress.
"Are we ready to go?" Draco asked, walking down the stairs. He was in a full black suit aside from his green tie. He bro-hugged Blaise and gave Pansy a hug before wrapping an arm around Y/n's waist.
Y/n nodded. "Let's do it."
Y/n hadn't seen how destructed Hogwarts was, but it now looked just like when she left. She couldn't help but feel sad at the tragedy that had occurred a month ago.
"It's odd being back," Pansy spoke what they were all thinking. Everyone gave her a nod of agreement.
The two couples walked into the great hall, hand in hand. Everyone was surprised to see Y/n. They still had no explanation for why she was gone.
Naturally, Y/n's eyes met her brother. She noticed how faded his lightning-bold scar looked. But she didn't go over to him, she just went to her house table.
McGonagall spoke, about the losses they had faced and how good always won in the end. Her speech was inspiring. Everyone was still distraught about the battle, it was evident on their faces.
They ate, laughing at their tables as the sky fell dark. Y/n had missed being at Hogwarts, it was like home to her. The couple finally made their way through the castle to go home when it was late.
"Y/n!" That was a voice she hadn't expected to hear. She hadn't heard him say her name in years. Harry. His voice was much deeper now.
Y/n stopped in her tracks, quickly turned around to look at him. She still looked like she remembered. "Hi." She greeted him, awkwardly rocking on her feet.
"I'll give you a moment," Draco mentioned, unlacing his hand with Y/n's and walking off.
Now, neither of them knew what to say. They were family but so disconnected.
"How are you?" Harry finally asked.
Y/n softly smiled. "I'm alright. And you?"
"Good." Harry stuttered. Silence fell again. "I'm so sorry." He blurted out. "I never should have said the things I did in 4th year. I was so angry about what Malfoy was saying and I couldn't believe it."
Y/n nodded. "I know, Harry, you don't need to explain it or be sorry."
"No, I do. I shouldn't have refused to talk to you for 3 years. It was childish and hurt you." Harry insisted. It made Y/n feel like the weight was off her shoulders. A weight she had been hauling for years. "I looked for you when I left Hogwarts for a whole year."
That was new information but it warmed Y/n's heart. "Harry, I had no idea." She replied, tears swelling in her eyes. "Narcissa told me you asked about me."
"I felt the worst I had ever felt. I was immature, and mum and dad would have been disappointed." Harry admitted.
Y/n shook her head, finally letting the tears fall at the thought of her parents. "Harry, no, please. They would be so proud of you for everything. I'm so sorry about everything I said as well. I just need to know if you hate me." She begged, looking into his matching eyes.
"I never hated you, not for a minute. I was mad but I was also stupid and prejudice." Harry told her, finally allowing her to relax. Y/n pulled him in for a hug without thinking about it. "I missed you so much." Harry was sobbing too, hot tears on Y/n's back.
"I missed you too. Ron and Hermione and the Weasley's too." Y/n told him, pulling back. "Would you maybe want to hang out sometime. Talk?"
Harry couldn't nod quick enough. "Yes, please. I'd really like that. We've missed a lot of time."
Y/n pulled him back in for another hug. It was like the two puzzle pieces were finally together. The part of her heart that was missing was now filled.
"Is your scar okay?" Y/n asked, running her left forefinger over Harry's forehead.
Harry nodded, glancing up at her finger. He noticed the ring. Harry grabbed Y/n's hand, examining it in front of her. "Oh my." He exclaimed.
"Please don't be mad." Y/n winced, breath shortening.
"No, not at all," Harry told her. "I just want to be a part of your life. Draco's as well." He told her honestly. Y/n had never felt better than she did right then.
"Thank you," Y/n told him. "Are you with Ginny?" She couldn't help but ask.
Harry smiled as he nodded. "Yeah. This ring is phenomenal though." Harry mentioned, smiling as he met Y/n's eyes.
"I know." Y/n agreed a giddy smile on her face.
Today just might have been the best day of her life. She had a twin brother she spoke to and an amazing fiancee. Life was perfect.

Dinner Party
Requests are open !!
Just Post Hogwarts !!
Tumblr media
Going to her parent’s friends dinner party was not Y/n’s idea of fun. Nowhere near it. She’d rather be soaking up the muggle culture London had to offer.
She’d heard Hyde Park was nice, and she had a list a mile long of restaurants to try.
That was the problem with moving countries, there were so many new things to do. Granted, Y/n was 18 so technically she didn’t have to move with her parents, but the thought of working for the British Ministry of Magic excited her. So the Y/l/n family packed up their bags and left for England.
Y/n’s mother told her about the dinner party on the second night they were there, it was set for that Saturday. That gave her two days to hunt through the boxes and find a nice enough outfit.
The dinner party was being hosted by the Malfoy’s. She’d read about the family in the Daily Prophet. Apparently, they’d walked away from the dark side of the war. Now, they were hosting a dinner party to celebrate it all being over. She did think it was a little hypocritical when they had contributed to Lord Voldemort’s rise. Selfishly, she hoped it would allow her to find some friends.
Y/n’s mother was happy when the family were ready in time, arriving at the massive manor in good time.
Once they knocked on the door, a woman opened it, ushering them in.
“Narcissa, hello.” Her mother cheered, wrapping the tall blonde in a hug. From the first impression, she was very elegant, just like the house. Y/n thought it all looked stunning.
Narcissa greeted Y/n’s father before calling for her own husband to come to the door. He looked meaner, a scowl on his face that scared Y/n.
Then, they all turned to look at her. “I’m Y/n.” She introduced herself, shaking hands with the Malfoy’s
“You've grown a lot,” Narcissa said with a smile. Y/n frowned, not understanding what she meant. “I knew you when you were little.” She explained.
Y/n nodded politely, but in her head, she was thinking, ‘Obviously, I’ve grown.’
“Where’s Draco?” Y/n’s mother asked, looking at Y/n with a half-smirk. Clearly, there was some alternate motive for dragging Y/n here. Lucius and her father had already walked off so he could introduce him to some other guests.
Narcissa sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “He is in very big trouble.” She admitted. “Since he’s finished his time at Hogwarts, we’ve not given him any curfews, and I’m honestly not sure where he is.” She told them, looking furious at the thought of her son. She turned to Y/n. “I’m sorry you came here. We were hoping you could meet.” She mentioned. So that was Y/n’s mother’s plan. Setting her up, and not even with anyone sensible, someone deranged.
“Oh, it’s not a problem. Y/n’s happy to be here.” Her mother replied for her. Y/n forcibly nodded. “I’ll let you get back to the rest of the guests.”
“Thank you, have a walk around. Some of our old friends are here.” Narcissa mentioned before waltzing back over to the door, greeting more people with a wide smile. Y/n thought that was something she’d get sick of.
Y/n turned back to look at her mother. “She’s nice. How did you know each other?” She asked. Her mother told her the story of how Narcissa had spent some time in America, and they’d met there.
The rest of the night went mindlessly. Y/n split off from her mother, trying to chat to anyone she found interesting. Most of them were surprisingly similar, all pureblood Slytherins. Whatever a Slytherin was.
Dinner started rather uninterestingly. Until a suited blond walked into the room. Everyone looked up at him, to be met by a shit-eating grin. Y/n turned to look at Narcissa, who was glaring at the boy. He sat right next to Y/n, the only empty seat at the table.
“I’m Draco Malfoy.” He introduced himself, sticking out a hand. His accent was just as strong as his parents.
Y/n shook it, not giving him a smile. He was incredibly attractive in his suit suited, with slicked-back hair. “Ahh, the problem child.” She teased.
“I’ve never seen you in my life, but you somehow know my families operations. My crazy mother hasn’t been outsourcing help to Americans, has she?” Draco asked, picking up on her different accent.
Y/n dryly laughed at him. “I actually find your mother quite pleasant.” She said in reply.
Draco raised his eyebrows in suspicion. “Do I get to know your name?”
Y/n took a sip of her wine, another UK bonus, making him wait for an answer. “Maybe later on.” She told him.
“Hmm.” Draco hummed. “Are you single?” His question almost made Y/n spit out a sip of her wine. It wouldn’t have looked good all over his white dress.
“You’re a terrible flirt,” Y/n replied, trying not to let the blush fall over her cheeks.
Draco lightly brushed his hand over hers, making her blush again. “Answer the question.” He demanded.
“Yes.” She told him, a grin spreading on his face. He tried to hide it by taking a sip of his own wine but failed.
Much to her surprise, Draco leaned in to talk to whisper into his ear. “Don’t look now, but there are two people who look very excited to see us smiling.” He mentioned, making a shiver run down her spine. Y/n couldn’t help but look, only to see Narcissa and her mother grinning at the pair.
Y/n wasn’t about to let him turn her to mush. They locked eyes as Draco moved a strand of hair off her face. They were almost close enough to kiss. The electricity running through her was insane, magnetic.
“You could get me some more wine.” Y/n said to him, pulling her face away from his as she held out her wine glass.
Draco chuckled. “I don’t get girls wine.” He told her.
“I’m not just girls.” Y/n shot back, a smile on her face.
Draco hummed, knowing it was a fair point. He already knew she wasn’t going to be like anyone else. He promptly stood up. “You could come with me.” He offered his hand out to her.
Y/n took it, also getting up. “Let’s do it.” She agreed, now smiling at him.

Rivals
Y/n Y/l/n and Draco Malfoy had been rivals for years.
After Hermione established herself as one of the smartest students, everyone assumed it would be her who Draco had a problem with. Surely his entitled, pureblood supremacist ideology would leave him in a constant feud with a muggle-born.
However, it didn't. Sure, Hermione wasn't Draco's favourite person. He would never like her, as long as she was Potter's best friend. But Hermione wasn't important enough to be the number 1 person he hated.
That title wasn't even given to Harry Potter. The scrawny half-blood who had rejected the blonde's friendship the first day they met. Ron Weasley disgusted him, but Draco recognised him as an inferior.
Y/n Y/l/n was the only one. The only person who was important and superior but still annoying. She was his arch-nemesis.
It was safe to say she annoyed him as much as one person could annoy another. Every hypothesis he had in class, she disagreed with. Draco felt like it was her only mission to annoy him.
In truth, Y/n was just trying to get through it. Hogwarts wasn't easy for a muggle-born, especially when her nemesis thought she wasn't worthy of knowing magic. He made every day a living hell.
"Mudblood Y/l/n." Draco taunted at any chance he got. Most of his tournaments happened in the corridors or Snape's classroom, where Draco couldn't get in trouble.
Y/n knew, deep down, he was just intimidated. She knew she was almost as smart as Draco, and she had just as many friends. It drove him nuts.
It was the night of a Slug Club dinner. The club was one of the only social functions Y/n didn't have to see Draco, so she was always thankful for it. She also had a new dress picked out. It was pink sequins are she adored it. Plus, she was pleased she didn't have to wear a Christmas-themed dress to a party just yet.
Her hair had finished being curled when her date arrived, Cormac McLaggen. He wasn't exactly well known for being a nice guy at Hogwarts, but Y/n couldn't deny he was cute.
"You look hot," McLaggen told her as she stepped out of her common room. He was immediately handsy, his hand resting on her ass. That was not the reason she had picked this dress.
Y/n thanked him nervously, and they started the walk to dinner. On their way through the corridor, they passed Y/n's least favourite Slytherin.
She hoped he wouldn't say anything, but, alas, he did. "McLaggen, what are you doing with a mudblood?" He asked him, completely ignoring Y/n like she wasn't there. That drove her crazy.
"Shove it, Malfoy," Cormac told Draco, not completely defending Y/n, but she was still grateful.
Draco didn't say anything else, but he just continued walking.
The dinner party was interesting. Stories from Slughorn were one of the best things about Hogwarts, and the group got a lot of those. The conversation between students was also always good.
Y/n was enjoying it. Until McLaggen went too far. She was just going to find her date when she overheard him talking, to some of the older boys, about what they had supposedly done sexually. It was all lies. Y/n hadn't even kissed him.
"Uh, Cormac." One of his friends said, seeing Y/n standing behind him.
Cormac turned around, locking eyes with her. Instead of looking sorry, he just looked smug. "What? Don't act like you're not a slut." He jeered.
Y/n's eyebrows raised. That was not what she expected. Suddenly, she felt tears welling in her eyes. So she stormed off. Right out of the room, past Harry, who had heard what Cormac said and Hermione, who looked confused. She didn't stop walking until she was out in the corridor.
Then, she just sat on a bench. Her head in her hands as she bawled her eyes out.
The tears didn't stop coming when someone's sweater was placed around her shoulders.
Y/n didn't look up to talk to the person she assumed was Harry. "Harry, I'm fine." She told him, wiping her tears. "Cormac is an arse."
"It's, uh, it's not Potter." Y/n's head snapped up quickly, making sure the voice matched the person she thought it was. Draco Malfoy. "What did Cormac do to you?" Draco quickly asked.
Y/n huffed, wanting to throw his sweater off her shoulders. "Doesn't matter." She quietly replied. The last thing she wanted right now was Draco to laugh at her. So, she wiped the rest of her tears.
"Yes, it does." Draco strictly said, taking a seat next to her. "Tell me right now, and I'll go find him." He instructed. Y/n had never heard him like this. He was so angry, but she didn't understand why. It was almost protective.
Something made Y/n confess the events of the night to her arch enemy. "He was telling all his stupid friends about things we definitely didn't do." She told him.
Draco rolled his eyes then his sleeves. "I'll be back. Stay here." He told her before matching off.
Y/n didn't know what he was going to do. All she knew was he was seething. He came back 5 minutes later. She immediately noticed his hands. More specifically, his knuckles were blood red.
"Draco," Y/n muttered out, grabbing his hand to look at it. He didn't wince at all. Much to her surprise, he smiled. "What?" She asked, concerned.
"That's the first time you have ever said my first name," Draco explained. It was true. Most of the time, she called him Malfoy, occasionally asshole.
Y/n didn't know what else to say. She just dropped his hand, not feeling like the physical contact was helping her. They sat together in silence for a while.
Finally, Y/n worked up the courage to get the answers she wanted to know. "Why did you do it?" She asked him.
Draco didn't hesitate. "Because he hurt you. No one gets to do that." The thought of him trying to protect her actually made her sick. Even angry.
Y/n's irritation spilled out. "Malfoy, you've hurt me more than anyone else in this school ever has. Even McLaggen." She told him, throwing her hands up in the air in frustration.
Her words made Draco feel like he'd been punched in the face. They made him physically want to cry. "I, uh... I never meant to... I didn't want to hurt you." He tried to explain.
Y/n could see the broken look on her face. She just didn't know if she should dig the knife in or help him. "You still did." She told him, not able to let it go completely.
"I'm sorry." That was the first time she had ever heard him say those words to anyone.
Y/n nodded slowly. "I know. It's in the past now, though." She didn't really feel like rehashing the last 6 years of hatred. "I just want to know why you were ever mean to me." She said it almost too quietly he missed it.
It was also rhetorical, but he answered. "I liked you." She couldn't help her mouth dropping open.
It took her by complete surprise. Her brain almost stopped working, but her heart rate sped up. Even her skin seemed hotter. Even though it wasn't, it felt like the whole world's attention was on her.
Draco could tell he had completely stopped her in her tracks. "Is it so hard to believe?" He asked her. "You were basically the first girl who talked to me." She could smile at that.
"I liked you too." Y/n finally confessed. There was a blush forming on her cheeks, and it shocked Draco. He didn't think he'd ever seen anything more beautiful.
"Liked or like?" Draco asked her, hesitantly but somehow confidently. His palms were sweating as he wrapped them around the bench. Even though it hurt, it was distracting him from the current situation.
Y/n looked at him with a frown. "Are you really trying to make my night worse?" So, she thought it was a joke. Some sick prank Draco had worked up.
The fact he could cause so much distrust upset him. It broke his heart. "I'm serious." He affirmed.
So, she replied. "Like." It finally felt like stress had lifted off her. She had been carrying it around for 6 years.
"I can top that," Draco said as he snapped her attention back into the moment. "I love you." That was not how she expected her night to go. Unsurprisingly, she had also never heard him say those words.
Y/n finally made eye contact with him. "I love you too." Before she could think, her lips were on his. Soft and gentle but still passionate. It was perfect. And it was something both of them had wanted for years.

A/n: Post battle of Hogwarts but still 7th year Draco. Mainly fluff with implied sex
"I want to go outside." Draco sighed as he rolled over for the 9th time that night. It had been a few weeks since the couple stopped having the nightmares the war left them with, but now Draco was falling into a pattern of insomnia. He was very resistant to the idea of falling asleep and kept his loving girlfriend up for hours at night.
Not that she minded in the slightest. Seeing him all cozy and relaxed in his pyjamas was all she could think about during the battle, it was the only thing that kept her going.
"Please, Y/n." He begged once more. While she couldn't see his face in the dark bedroom, she could easily imagine his pouting.
"Why not?" The girl in bed next to him agreed as she slipped the covers off her body. Draco pulled the covers off his half of the bed and jumped out. "Can you grab me a sweatshirt?" She asked as she put on some shoes.
The overnight temperature wasn't low in summer, but she wanted to make sure she didn't catch a cold. Y/n had been staying with the Malfoy's since the battle, although Narcissa and Lucius spent a lot of time away doing volunteer work. They were still riddled with guilt which left the younger couple alone most of the summer.
Draco threw her a 'Slytherin Quidditch team' crewneck sweater from his closet. She slipped it on over her pyjama top. Draco was so much bigger than her that it hung until her mid-thigh. He admired how much the green knit suited her, even more than him.
"Let's go then, Dray." She told him, holding out her hand for him to take. He laced his fingers around hers and squeezed. It was something he had been doing since they started dating in 5th year.
They walked to the patio door and finally outside. The full moon made the garden brighter than normal and their shadows danced on the grass. Once they'd walked around for a few minutes, Draco took a seat on the grass. Thankfully it wasn't wet so Y/n sat next to him.
"Do you see that one?" Draco asked as he tried to draw a constellation. He continued when she nodded. "That's Draco." He was beaming with pride for his namesake.
Y/n rested her head on her boyfriend's shoulder. Draco wrapped his arm around her waist, drawing her into his warm body. "It's almost as pretty as you." She told him. It was no secret that he was very good-looking.
He grinned as she ran her hand through his blonde locks. They sat together in silence as they watched the sky.
"Do you ever think you want kids?" Draco finally spoke. Her attention flicked back to his strong jawline and warm eyes. She recognised the blush on his cheeks she hadn't seen in a while.
When she finally spoke it was soft. "Yeah, with you." It was something she was sure of. Something she had been sure of since the first time he told her he loved her.
His face instantly lit up. "There's nothing I want more than a family with you." He agreed.
"Would you want to carry on the family tradition?" She asked him. He thought about it for a moment before nodding. "Got any ideas?"
He thought about that question for a moment as well. "Eltanin is the brightest star in the Draco constellation, I like that."
"It's pretty," Y/n commented.
"I do have more," Draco said. She nuzzled further into his arm, encouraging him to continue. "Scorpius has been my favourite for a long time. It's the name of the Scorpio constellation. Or Leo for a boy." Y/n nodded and urged him to continue. Listening to him talk about their future made her ecstatic. "Estella isn't a constellation but it means 'star.' Phoenix is another constellation that sounds pretty." He listed off a few more before stopping. "I don't want it to all be about my family though, do you have any thoughts?" He asked her.
Y/n smiled at the caring boy before answering. "Ophelia. It's not a star but it's a moon of Uranus." She replied.
"Have you done some research, sweet girl?" He asked, making her blush bright red.
"Yes." She sheepishly admitted. "I've known I've wanted this for a while."
Draco beamed at her confession. "You're so perfect." He told her before leaning down to touch their lips together.
She pulled away before continuing to talk. "Venus is nice, again it's a planet but it's also a God. I like Ascella, it's the brightest star in Saggitarius." Draco started giggling causing Y/n to frown. "What?" She insisted.
"With all these ideas we're going to have to have, like, 7 kids." He explained.
"8." Y/n corrected him.
Draco playfully scoffed at her. "I'm not the one who has to actually have them." He reminded her.
"True, but you are the one who's going to have to be up with them at night." Y/n reminded him, causing both of them to burst into a fit of giggles. "And get me whatever I'm craving, muggle or not." She added.
Draco pretended to think about it before nodding. "Deal." He held out his hand for her to shake.
She shook it before putting her lips back on his. Draco deepened the kiss quickly.
"Wanna get some practice in now?" Y/n asked as she swung her leg over his waist.
Instead of his usual eagerness, Draco shook his head. When she frowned he explained. "I've got to at least ask you to marry me first."
Y/n grinned, widely, only inches from his lips. How someone could be so kind and handsome was beyond her. "I'd say yes if you asked right now." She told him.
"Not going to do it out here when you're trying to seduce me." He teased lovingly.
She scoffed and hopped off his lap, standing up. "Fine, I'm going back to your bedroom, alone." She grinned at him, knowing it would quickly get him excited up.
Y/n was right, Draco got up off the grass and pulled her into him. She wiggled out of his grip and started running back to the manor. Draco let her get a few seconds headstart before running after her.
"I'm going to get you!" He yelled as he reached the patio door, now only a few steps behind her. She just laughed back at him as she ran upstairs while he locked the door.
Once he reached her room she was nowhere to be found. "Y/n, I know you're in here." He sang as he walked around the room.
The bulge in the curtains went unnoticed until she jumped out at him, wrapping her legs around his waist. Effortlessly he spun around the room with her latched onto him.
"Hi." She murmured, only a few centimetres away from his lips.
"Hey, pretty girl," Draco replied. "Ready for that practice now?" He asked her.
As soon as she nodded he let her fall onto the bed before resuming his position on top of her. As he ran a finger through her hair he couldn't help but smile. "You're so beautiful."

Friday Night
A/n: post-war Draco. Just some tooth-decaying fluff but maybe one of my favourite things I've written
"I'm home!" Draco yelled out as he closed the door to the flat.
He didn't get a reply as he put down his keys then his briefcase before taking off his loafers and untightening his tie.
Their flat was still welcoming, it had been since they brought it. All the muggle artwork Y/n brought home for them hanging on the walls and the east-facing widows always made the flat glow in the morning. It wasn't as big as the manor but it far more intimate and Draco had never felt more at home than he did here.
Now all he wanted was a hug from his girlfriend. He looked around the lounge to see if she was reading on the window seat and then the kitchen to see if she was baking as she often did. When she wasn't in any of her usual places he moved to their bedroom.
His search finally stopped when he heard the music coming through the bathroom door, accompanied by the steam. It was the same jazz music they played at a bar in London that Y/n enjoyed.
Everything in their house was so Y/n, and he had never adored anything more. Maybe her.
With a smile on his lips, he opened the door, stepped in and quickly closed it. The steam in the room flowing out the door was a sure sign that she wouldn't notice the interruption.
He took a seat on the edge of the bathtub, straightening his black suit jacket so it wouldn't crinkle as he watched her body sway in the shower. Her blurred figure was still the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.
Once she spent a few more minutes humming to the music she turned the shower off, wrapped a towel around herself and opened the glass door.
"Hey, there, pretty girl." Draco's words caused her visible fright, every muscle in her body tensing as she gasped and jumped up.
"Merlin, Draco!" She squealed as she walked over and punched him on the shoulder. "I hate you."
Draco couldn't do anything but giggle at how cute she was. She didn't kiss him as she usually did each night. "No, you love me." There was no use in replying, she knew he was right.
"Don't you love this song?" Her attention flicked to the trumpet playing through her muggle speakers as she spun around, holding the towel.
"I love you," Draco replied without a second thought.
Her attention was back on him now as she walked over and put her hands on his knees, he didn't even care about her damp fingertips getting the thigh of his suit pants wet. "You're such a sap."
He saw his opportunity to lean up and connect their lips.
"Hey!" She shouted, pulling off once she'd relished in the feeling of his lips. "I wasn't going to let you have that."
All he could do was give her a knowing smirk and reach up to rest his palm on her cheek. Draco swore he could feel his heart skip a beat as she nuzzled into his palm, even after all these years.
His whole heart was on fire in the best way. "Can I take you out for dinner, baby?" He asked, usual dazzling smile.
She nodded with a grin. "If that's your way of making it up to me, then yes."
That was all she said before she walked out of the bathroom door, and pulled him along. Once she was reached their bedroom she sat him down on the bed and walked into their closet, dropping her towel on the floor.
It took everything in him not to go after her but instead, he lay down on the bed and shut his eyes. For an indefinite amount of time, he stayed there.
Until he felt a warm breath on his face, much nicer than the jump scare he gave her. As he opened his eyes and sat up he was met with her absolute beauty. "Wake up, sleepyhead." She sang to him.
"'m not 'sleep." He said, his slurred words an ode to how tired he was.
She did a quick spin for him before she climbed into his lap, wrapping her legs around him. "You're so fucking cute." He told her, brushing a few stray hairs out of her face.
Quickly, she pulled away and got off his lap. "I did my hair and my makeup and put this dress on and all you can say is I'm 'cute.'"
"You are."
She sighed, loudly but Draco pulled her into his chest and smashed their lips together.
As soon as she was relaxing into it he pulled away. "Ready to go?" He now asked, being the one to pull her out of the room this time by their connected pinky fingers. She nodded as she followed him out the door, only breaking their contact to lock the door as Draco walked over to the elevator.
When she found his pinky finger again he was staring out the window, watching the sun set and the sky turn from orange to pink.
Draco was smart. But he would never understand two things.
1. How the sun could set every dusk and still look as beautiful
and
2. How, every day, Y/n could still look as beautiful, maybe more
"It's absolutely resplendent." She spoke, breaking the silence that had fallen.
Draco turned to look at her as she continued to watch the sun. "Wow, look at you reading your dictionary."
"It means attractive through impressive colours." She told him with a sigh, looking annoyed.
"So...you in that yellow dress?" He asked with a wide grin. "But you're also gorgeous, stunning, beautiful, pretty, lovely, charming, delightful, sensational, astounding, elegant, magnificent and dazzling."
"Look at you reading your thesaurus." She quipped his bon mot back at him.
As smooth as ever he replied with, "And together we're going to write some amazing stories."

Not your father
A/n: Set during the HBP with Death Eater Draco. Angst.
It was never how he imagined his life would turn out, you both knew that and it was blindingly obvious when anyone took a second to look at Draco as anything more than his father’s son.
The summer you spent at Malfoy Manor after Lucius got sent to Azkaban wasn’t as much fun as the previous one when Narcissa had let you and Draco run wild around the house.
No, that summer was spent stepping on eggshells around the woman whose husband was in the worst place one could imagine and trying to comfort Draco.
You always saw a dark side in Lucius, at just 11 you were pretty sure that 11-year-old Draco hadn’t come to his conclusion about muggle-borns by himself and when you finally saw Lucius a year later in Flourish and Blotts being incredibly rude to an 11-year-old Ginny you confirmed your theory of this wicked man’s brainwashing.
It wasn’t until third year that you really got close with Draco after you had to take him to the infirmary. Of course, by then you knew his very vocal position on people of different origin than him and yourself but there was a good side of him that you saw, even if it was buried under a mountain of horrible comments.
As soon as you were allowed to leave to Hogsmeade on weekend trips you accompanied Draco and his friends and, although it took him a few long weeks, he eventually asked you out on a date and later that year to be his girlfriend.
And it was good until summer came and Draco asked you to come with him to the Quidditch world cup. Usually, seeing Quidditch with your boyfriend in some of the best seats in the stadium wouldn’t have been a concern but you knew you were going to have to meet Lucius. Thankfully, possibly due to your blood status, Lucius liked you and agreed you should date Draco. Narcissa was happy, as long as Draco was.
Once the Triwizard Tournament was announced you were regularly at Draco’s side to watch the competition, letting him complain about Potter and staying up late together to finished your homework. And of course, the yule ball, where Draco was the perfect gentleman and dancer you were sure his mother trained him to be.
That summer was the first time you’d visited the Manor and Narcissa promptly invited you to stay the whole summer, noticing how happy Draco was one night while you played hide-and-seek in the dark. And staying with the Malfoy’s was far more fun than you’d imagined it would be. Possibly you were too blinded by your love for Draco to notice Lucius absence and whatever strange was happening behind those big door of the dining room.
Arriving back at Hogwarts for your 5th year was like going back to reality from your dreamland with Draco, not a nice feeling. Then the rules started coming down hard and fast thanks to Umbridge. Thankfully as you were Draco’s girlfriend and Draco kept to the rules, Umbridge didn’t hate you. Of course, there were still quite a few late-night rendezvous in Draco’s dorm with a silencing charm.
Then the drama started and was over before you and the rest of the school knew the full story. Draco’s whole demeanour changed and you watched him close up as his father was taken away. As Narcissa loved you and thought it would help Draco come to terms with what he needed to do, she invited you back to the Manor for summer.
And that is where you are now. Draco’s room. Fixing your eyes on the luxurious decor to avoid seeing his pale, drained face. Now you were sure there was nothing worse than seeing someone you loved losing themselves.
“You should go home.” Draco finally said, causing your eyes to snap back onto his. He was standing in the middle of the room, pacing, as you sat on the bed.
All you could manage was shaking your head. “Draco Malfoy.” You began, standing up and taking a step over to him. “I love you so, so, so much and I am not going to let you fall into the trap of thinking you’re like your father. And there is no chance I’m leaving.”
“But what if I am, Y/n. How do you know?” He was stressed out, so drained it looked like he hadn’t slept or eaten in a week.
You knew because no matter what he did you would love him, forever. “Draco, I’ve known you weren’t like him since I saw Lucius bullying Ginny Weasley when we were second years.” You reached your hands out to him to make him stop the mindless walking. “We’re all products of our system and your system was a bad one, he’s been talking this into you since you were born and I know you don’t have to do this. Look me in the eyes and tell me you want to do this.”
Draco’s face softened, slightly. His jaw rested slightly and he stopped looking around anxiously. “I don’t. But I have to.”
“I know.” You told him as you pulled him down to place a kiss on his cheek. “Your place at the moment is out there with them.” You nodded to the door.
“No, my place will never be anywhere but your side.” Draco frowned, looking unhappy.
You looked at him with a frown. “Draco, I know but for now I think the best move to make is keeping your head down and doing what you need to until this is all over.”
He looked defeated but you weren’t sure if it was because of your words or his day. “Can we just cuddle now?” He asked, with that sweet smile you had missed.
“Yes, whatever you need.” You told him as you pulled him onto the bed. He toppled on top of you, finally letting the muscles in his body relax as you embarrassed him.
He was quick to fall asleep, on your chest as you ran your hands through his blonde locks. It was the best (and only) sleep he’d gotten in weeks.

Tuesday trip
Tumblr media
Spencer Reid spent his morning filling out paperwork, while it was less interesting than being on a case and using his brain it was mindless work he could get through of a Tuesday morning. With a cup of sweet coffee beside him and Morgan's complaining, he felt settled.
That was until JJ walked through the bullpen, holding up a manilla folder to the team. They knew what that meant without her having to say the words "Conference room."
Spencer sighed lightly, getting up and following her with Morgan and Prentiss. His disappointment wasn't because he had big plans after work but there was a film festival of old documentaries he was interested in.
Once he'd got inside and taken a seat he noticed Hotch standing in one corner and Garcia's laptop connected to the screen, not showing anything. She was wearing a bright yellow jacket and it made Spencer smile slightly.
"What's going on?" Rossi asked as he took a seat at the table.
Garcia sighed, before looking to Hotch and then starting. "We're going to the CIA."
"Why?" Morgan asked the question the group were thinking.
Garcia gulped, very reluctant to say anything so Hotch answered. "There have been some threats made and they believe they've tracked down who's responsible, but they need us to provide a profile of his accomplice." The team nodded.
Garcia handed out some copies of what looked like written threats and Spencer read them. "Is this all we have?" He asked, tilting his head to the side with a frown. Even for the CIA, this was barely enough information to get them started.
"Unfortunately, the CIA doesn't like to give out too much information," Garcia told them.
"We're going to need all the code-cracking you can do, Reid," Hotch told him. "We'll leave in 30, don't bother bringing a go-bag," He instructed before leaving the room.
The drive was only as far as it took Spencer to get home but it felt like a lot longer as he tried to figure out what was going on in the threats. They were a mix of numbers, letter, symbols and he couldn't make sense of it.
He was so consumed he only looked up when Morgan stopped the car. "Welcome to the CIA." He joked before rolling down his window and showing the guards his credentials before they let the car through.
Once they parked the SUV's Spencer and the team got out. One of the things he liked about close cases was that he didn't have to change up his wardrobe choices too much, his dress shirt, tie and sweater vest were enough to keep him warm in the ever chilling fall.
"Hi, I'm Operations Officer Y/n Y/l/n." A woman introduced herself, Spencer quickly noticed the pantsuit that fit her perfectly. He couldn't stop himself from thinking about how flattering it looked on her. Mathematically, of course. It's just the golden ratio. That's why she's so beautiful.
Hotch held out his hand to introduce himself. "SSA Aaron Hotchner, nice to meet you."
"You too, sir." She smiled such a genuine smile at him that Spencer felt his knees wobble.
"SSA Jennifer Jareau, I go by 'JJ'." JJ introduced herself, hand held out as well. Y/n shook it with another award-winning smile. "That's SSA Derek Morgan." JJ pointed to Morgan and the pair shook hands. "SSA David Rossi, SSA Emily Prentiss, Doctor Spencer Reid and our technical analyst Penelope Garcia." JJ continued to point out the rest of the team as Y/n shook hands with all but Garcia and Spencer.
"It's great to meet you all, follow me through the building, I'll get you your badges for security clearance and we can get started." She told them, with a hint of urgency in her voice. Spencer almost missed the details of the big government building as Y/n led them through security, he was completely focused on whatever she was saying.
"Sir," Y/n said, giving Hotch a badge from the pile she got from some guy in a suit. To Spencer, they looked like they had chips in them, probably to make they could enter different levels of the building. "You've all been given level 5 clearance, but you'll need to keep your badges with you at all times so you can enter any room. I'm sure you have something similar in the FBI, you just scan them to get in any room or use the elevator." She explained to the team and they nodded. "JJ." She smiled, handing over a badge to the blonde. "Rossi, Prentiss." She handed out two more badges. "Morgan."
"Thanks, pretty girl," Morgan commented, taking the badge from her with a wink.
Spencer could see her blush, it made his stomach twist uncomfortably. "Don't worry about him, he does that to everyone. Reid's nickname is pretty boy," Garcia said as she came up to collect her badge, patting Y/n's arm. She relaxed at that, laughing it off. And it was one of the best things Spencer had heard.
Garcia left her standing with one badge before moving off to where Hotch and the rest of the team were, near the elevator.
Spencer moved closer to her. "Lucky last." She smiled at him as she handed it over.
"T-Thank you." He stuttered out, trying not to smile too widely at her.
She was still smiling as she turned to walk away with the group to the elevator. Spencer quickly followed, almost tripping over his feet as he tried to keep up.
"We're off to the 10th floor," Y/n mentioned as they hopped in the elevator. Fortunately for Spencer, and he did feel very happy about it, there was just not enough room for all of them. "I'll wait down here, you'll want to go to the 10th floor and then take the second door on the left." She instructed as the group got into the elevator.
Spencer couldn't keep the smile off his face as he waved goodbye to his friends. Both Morgan and Prentiss noticed, raising their eyebrows at the youngest member of their team.
He felt awkward now, shifting his weight on his feet as he tried to work out what to say that could impress her but not scare her off. Usually, he'd go for a fact but he was being much more careful now.
Thankfully, y/n made the decision for him. "So, 'Pretty boy'?" She questioned with a smirk on her face. Even though she wasn't a profiler, Spencer was impressed at her ability to deduce their relationship so quickly.
He ran his hand through his hair nervously. "It's a stupid nickname, I have a few." He mentioned.
She was still smiling at him. "What else?"
Now she was really making him speak and he was almost unable to think of anything. "Spence, which makes sense, Kid, Wiz Kid, Boy Wonder, anything they can think of really. Did you know James Earl Carter Jr. was actually sworn in on his nickname 'Jimmy.'" He listened off before giving her a typical Spencer fact. He noticed how intently she was actually listening to him, people didn't do that often.
"You all seem very close." She noted. Spencer nodded before stepping into the next empty elevator in the shinny lobby. "You know, I've heard you are very impressive academically." Y/n was trying to get him to relax a little, hoping to engage him in a conversation. If she were being completely honest she would have told him she'd been to some of his lectures and talks and she'd read Rossi's books.
"Am I on the CIA's radar or something?" He smirked, finally finding some hidden confidence.
She giggled, pressing the number on the elevator and swiping her card. Spencer was definitely going to get her to giggle again, he'd almost do anything. He was a little afraid of how connected he already felt to her.
"No, but I have been at a few of your talks," Y/n replied, feeling comfortable with telling him something honest.
"Ohh." He muttered, not sure how to continue the conversation he desperately wanted to. "I still don't think genius can be quantified but yes for all measures of intelligence I'm well above average." He realised he was rambling and quickly shut his mouth closed. "That's where they get the majority of my nicknames, I'm not sure about 'Pretty boy.'" He mumbled as an afterthought.
But she heard it. "I think 'Pretty Boy' comes from your pretty face." She told him. Her compliment made him blush bright red, not knowing what else to say.
He didn't notice how close they were, usually, that would have made him freak out. He didn't know where she'd been or what germs she'd been exposed to but as her perfume filled his nose every worry disappeared.
Again, he wasn't sure where it came from but he felt a surge of confidence. "I guess Morgan's right calling you 'Pretty girl.'" Spencer isn't sure if he had ever flirted with anyone before, definitely no in high school or college like most kids and most likely not because he was meaning to. But this was different. He had done this on purpose to make her blush.
"Well thank you, pretty boy." She said, flashing him a smile as the elevator dinged as it reached their level. She got out, not looking back at him.
Like in the lobby he walked quickly, to catch up to her, amazed by how quickly she could walk in heels.
When they entered the room Spencer made eye contact with the rest of the team, Morgan smirking at him from the corner of his eye. He knew when 'pretty boy' was into a 'pretty girl.'
"Y/n, Reid, you're going to crack the code. Prentiss, Rossi and I are going to talk to the first unsub. JJ, Morgan, you two are going to look over the past evidence." Hotch assigned everyone jobs, Y/n noticed how quickly the team responded to his authoritative voice.
They continued to work on solving the case together, looking through all the evidence that they were authorised to see. Spencer noticed how close Y/n was comfortable being by him, and the rest of the team noticed how surprisingly comfortable Spencer was near her.
This case felt different, Spencer was really hoping to be the one to crack it. Not to prove how smart he was. But there was something about her that made him want to impress her. He finally solved it at a little past 2 pm. Despite how smart these criminals thought they were, coding each other's names into their threats was something anyone with 1 PhD could crack, let alone someone with 3.
After he solved it, Garcia worked some magic, impressing Y/n almost as much as Reid had done. She was quick and efficient but she wasn't exactly one specific 'pretty boy' that had been catching Y/n's eye all day.
Then the information went to Rossi who was interviewing the first suspect and a sigh from him when the address was read out confirmed it. From their agents were on set out. Usually, the FBI would have gone but this was a CIA they were only to consult on.
"I think you've all earnt a late lunch, we have a cafe on the 3rd floor," Y/n told them, getting a card out of where she kept her badge and ID.
Hotch would normally refuse but why not use some of the CIA's money. Morgan eagerly took the card, making her laugh while the rest of the team followed him out of the room.
"You don't eat lunch?" Y/n asked Spencer, tilting her head in question. "They do a really good coffee."
He was a little put off by her caring nature but answered anyway. "I do eat, but I also love coffee."
"Right then, let's go." She said, getting up out of her seat and waiting for him to follow.
He didn't know what to do but get up and follow her to the elevator. "That card you gave Morgan?" He asked, her attention turning to him as he continued. "I hope it wasn't yours, I've seen him eat 4 cheeseburgers once."
She giggled just slightly. "No, don't tell anyone but it belongs to my boss." Spencer would take that secret to the grave. "I've got two." She continued, pulling one out of her blazer pocket.
Spencer giggled this time, his face stuck in a smile. Once they got out at level 3, Y/n showed Spencer to the cafe facility they had, deciding on a wrap and juice for herself and letting him order whatever he wanted. Unlike her healthier option, he went for a black coffee and a doughnut.
"Sit outside with me, if you want," Y/n told him, not seeing his team anywhere.
"Oh...Okay." Spencer told her, thankful at her offer but still taken aback by her kindness.
She took him outside on a balcony that was covered with fake turf and a few benches that looked out on the nearby river and park, it really was a pretty place to work.
"How do you like working for the BAU?" Y/n asked him as he added a few too many sugars into his coffee.
He looked back at her. "It's okay, we see some bad stuff but I bet you do here too." She nodded her head quickly. "Why do you ask?" He took a seat next to her and looked out at the view.
"I've wanted to transfer for a while. The CIA is great but it's a very hard level of secrecy to keep, from my parents and my romantic relationships are almost non-exsistant." Spencer didn't say anything, shocked by how much she was sharing with him but he didn't mind. "Sorry, I know I'm rambling. I just thought someone who works there would give me a much better idea of what it's like."
Spencer nodded. "Having relationships in the BAU is hard as well, there's a lot of time we spend on cases." Then he remembered he wasn't trying to discourage her. "But I've realised it's very rewarding work."
"I bet, the look on your face when you solved that case was ecstatic." She commented and Spencer flushed at the realisation she was looking at him then. "Quantico is a lot further from DC than Langley is, though." She continued like she was going to make her decision right there.
"You live in DC?" Spencer asked her, she nodded. "Maybe I can tell you more about what it's like to work at the BAU tonight, there's a film festival downtown that I was planning on going to if you're into that? Don't feel like you have to though." When she didn't reply he continued his nervous rambling.
"Not to sound like a dork but is that the same place they have the annual Halloween film festival?" Spencer felt his heart skip a beat when she said that. He was so worried she would be offended by him asking her out and he would never see her again. In all honesty, he hadn't asked a lot of girls out, at the moment he was trying every tip Morgan had given him on how to talk to the ladies.
"Yes, it is." He told her, remembering he hadn't replied.
"I'll definitely let you talk me into changing jobs." She said, making him laugh.
And just like that, Spencer Reid was no longer disappointed in being called out on a case.

50 Things Draco Lucius Malfoy would do as a boyfriend
A/n: A headcanon list of 50 things I think Draco would do. Mostly personal opinion with a little bit of canon. Mostly fluff with a little smut and a dash of angst. Also, I promise there's 50, it just starts at 1 again after 8
Sends owls to your family to let them know how you are and how he is
Sends more letters during OWLs to let them know he was making sure you were eating and sleeping
Drags you outside if it's raining so you can run around together even when it's torrential
Big spoon, until he's having a bad day and then he's the little spoon
Occasionally writes poetry about you when you're at the manor, reading by the window that looks out at the garden in silence.
Buys a muggle camera to take photos that he gets developed of you
Practices saying your first name with 'Malfoy' instead of your last name
Hold pinkies with you more than hands because 'I pinky promise to love you forever'
If you're not holding pinkies then he'll keep his hand on your thigh
Buys you gifts just because he can, things like flavours that remind him of you like flowers, chocolates or anything with your favourite colour
LOVE LANGUAGE IS WORDS OF AFFIRMATION because he didn't get enough as a child. I will die on this hill
Tells you stories about what he wanted his future to be like when it's late and you can't sleep
Researches what muggle couples do and takes you to do the same thing even though muggles really make things so much harder for themselves
Randomly asks you what you think of different baby names
Shows you the stars/constellations of said baby names
Slow dances with you in the halls when you're meant to be on prefect duty
When you're both first years, kisses you in front of the first-year boys who all have innocent crushes on you
Keeps one of your favourite hair tie on his wrist in case you need one
Talk about what traits he wants your future kids to inherit from you 'I think all of you, there's not one thing I don't love.' 'Genetically they can't be 100% me'
GIGGLES when he's drunk on fire whiskey, like a 6-year-old girl. And it's the only time he slurs his words
Insists that you don't make he isn't whipped to his friends for a while before he won't defend it and finally admits it 'How could I not be?'
Brings dinner from the great hall to your room if you're doing homework
Admires the bruises and hickeys he's left on you the morning after a rough night
Actually pokes his tongue out at you and makes other faces
Adores going to any of your family dinners because 'they're so much more fun than Malfoy family dinners'
Let's you paint his nails and paints yours, probably better than you do
Will draw pictures on your books and they're actually very good
Pretends to not understand some things so you can teach him
Always tells you he misses you when you leave him for even a few seconds
Asks your opinion on his outfit, holding up different ties to see which you prefer
Hates getting up in the morning and begs you to stay in bed with him, especially if it's winter and cold outside
If he's had a bad day he'll bury his head in your lap and cry so you can pat his hand, then falls asleep like that
Pouts if you won't immediately hug him
Begs you not to cover the hickeys he's left on your neck
When you do he puts more on your boobs, stomach, inner thighs so you don't have to hide them.
MAJOR praise kink
Lets you wear his rings, even gifts you a few of your favourites.
Smiles when you smile even if you're across the room from him, he can't himself
Insists on switching pillows every night so he can fall asleep to the smell of your shampoo
Always grins before he pulls away from a kiss
Cries by himself in the bathroom whenever you fight
Drinks out of your cup, glass or bottle without a second thought because you always share things like that
Was definitely thinking about how he was going to propose since the day you said yes to a date with him
Whispers in your ear to get you hot, a lot. Even resorting to kisses or gentle biting if you won't moan for him
Buys you lipgloss with a flavour he like so he can kiss it off you
Definitely, gets you matching bracelets
Runs his finger over his nose when you can't sleep
After the war, when he has nightmares, he'll wrap his legs around you like a koala
When you're older and living together it's a tradition that you and your kids have french toast, pancakes or waffles every Sunday morning
Whenever you go out to a dinner or evening event he makes sure you're wearing matching or complementary outfits.

Hello!! May I please have a Draco Malfoy x Fem!Reader where they are making out and get caught by her overprotective older brother? And so they try to explain themselves and stuff bit her brother ends up taking the reader with him and just her brother being worried about her absanana
Found out
A/n: Of course !! I adore getting these requests. I chose the reader to be the sister of Cedric, just because the prompt sounded a lot like how I imagine him but feel free to request another character. This is set during 4th year and is an AU where Cedric doesn't die. Also slightly sexual towards the end
Being Cedric Diggory's younger sister was difficult, the popular Hufflepuff always had a crowd hanging around him but he and Y/n weren't completely alike.
When the Triwizard tournament was announced Y/n had begged him not to put himself in danger. But Cedric wanted to win that cup, and he was stubborn. Of course, she was beyond proud of him when his name flew out of the cup but she couldn't stop the bad feeling in her stomach.
"Cedric, you know you don't have to do this," Y/n begged him once she'd pulled him out of dinner one night. The sibling pair didn't talk to each other much during the school day, due to their differing social circles, but they were close.
She stood next to him in an alcove near to the big doors where the rest of the school was sitting.
"Y/n, if I win this mum and dad are going to be so pleased." He had the proudest look she had ever seen him with. Such a wide smile.
Growing up he was always the more carefree one, willing to get on a broom before their parents allowed them, climbing any tree around their house and getting into any number of bad situations for his friends. He was a risk-taker, Y/n knew that. But he was the most honest person she knew and if he said he would be okay, then it would be okay.
"Just be safe, okay? I'll see you out there tomorrow." She made him promise as she gave him a hug.
Cedric nodded and pulled away. "I promise, don't worry about me. Get some sleep." He told her, still fulfilling his protective older brother duties.
Y/n didn't notice Cho Chang until she stood next to Cedric, threading her fingers in his in a way Y/n hadn't seen before. She had heard the rumours that her brother was going out with Cho but wanted to wait until he confessed.
"Sorry to interrupt." Cho started, smiling awkwardly at Y/n who quickly cut in.
"No, don't worry. You can take him." Y/n told her with her own soft smile to let Cho know she didn't mind.
She looked relieved at that, clearly not wanting to piss off her apparent boyfriend's sister this close into their relationship. "It's nice to officially meet you, Ced talks about you a lot," Cho replied as she held out her hand for Y/n to shake.
Y/n had only ever heard their mother call Cedric 'Ced' and that was when they were really young and he was feeling sick but she thought the nickname proved their relationship was close.
"Yeah, you too." They did know each other, only by mutual classmates and Y/n found it mature she introduced herself.
"Okay, we should go, I'll talk to you later, Y/n," Cedric said, breaking the slight awkward tension he had created and turning the girls' attention back to him. When Y/n looked at him he looked awkward as he bit his lip and shifted his weight around.
Y/n raised her eyebrows at him and made it obvious she was looking at the couples joint hands. "Yeah, we will talk later." Her sarcastic tone made him gulp but made Cho laugh.
They walked off together, joining some of their other mutual friends and leaving Y/n there.
Instead of walking to her own dorm room, she waited until the hallway was quiet from students leaving the hall and snuck into the dorm room of her favourite Slytherin.
Draco was waiting for her, as he had done for the past 2 months since they started dating. Unlike Cedric, she could keep a relationship secret.
"How did it go?" He asked her cautiously, pulling her into a hug in the doorway.
Y/n was surprised by his embrace but welcomed it as she finally let herself, for the first time since Dumbledore readout Cedric's name, relax in his arms. "Badly." She replied, finally pulling away from his warm body.
Draco pulled her over to his bed, sitting on it and patting the spot next to him for her to sit. "Tell me about it, love." He insisted.
She sat next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I don't want him to get hurt, he's always been so protective of me and now I feel like I need to be because he's doing something stupid that could get him killed." Draco was the one person she could really speak honestly to which surprised her when they first got close.
"I know you think that but a lot of people volunteered to compete, they wouldn't have if it wasn't safe. Even stupid Potter got accepted despite being too young." He tried to reassure her, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her tighter. "They wouldn't even have the tournament if it wasn't safe."
Y/n let out a huffing sound, knowing Draco was completely correct. "Thank you. I just need him to be okay."
"I know, he will be. And you never have to thank me for being here." There was that sweet smile that she adored. It wasn't something a lot of people got to see and that made her more grateful.
The couple sat together for a minute, the fall and rise of Draco's chest syncing with hers.
Then she spoke. "Can I stay here?"
"Yeah, of course." He agreed, smiling down at her again. And maybe it was the widest grin she had seen on his face.
It wasn't how either of them pictured their first night together like, but as Y/n drifted off to sleep in his arms she was infinitely more relaxed. And Draco didn't want her to get up and leave as she did every night.
~
"What colour is your dress?" Draco asked Y/n, one particular evening they spent up at the astronomy tower. Keeping their relationship secret was difficult but they both knew hiding places and the astronomy tower was one of their favourites.
It was quiet at night, a nice peaceful quiet. As the weather got colder naturally the nights were too and being up there meant they were bundled up in coats and blankets to not catch a cold.
Y/n looked over at him, focusing on his dark features instead of the bright stars. "I'm not letting you see it before the big night." She grinned at him.
"No, I want to match my tie." There was a shy smile on his face, something she didn't see much. "So tell me."
She rolled her eyes, still smiling at him. "Silver." She had picked the dress out the day the Yule ball was announced. At first, she thought of going for his favourite, green, but she knew he would love the dress.
He nodded. "Shouldn't be too hard. Will you at least dance with me?"
There was a desperate, insecure look in his eyes. "Yeah, we'll sneak out." Thankfully, he didn't look disappointed.
~
Tonight was the big night. Y/n found it hard to recognise her classmates dressed in their best clothes. The whole castle was decorated beautifully.
She has been waiting for Draco on the top of the staircase but when he didn't turn up she made the walk down the stairs herself, being careful not to trip with her heels.
That was when she saw him, at the bottom of that stairs. He was dressed in a white and black suit with a shiny silver bowtie and his hair was done slicked back, just how you liked it.
"Merry Christmas, you look beautiful," Draco told her as she met him at the bottom of the stairs, trying to look as inconspicuous to their peers as possible.
She has already received her Christmas gift from Draco, a stunning pear-shaped emerald necklace set in expensive gold. On the back of the gold setting was his initials 'D.L.M'
"Thank you for my gift, it's gorgeous," Y/n said, toying with the pendant in her fingers.
"You're gorgeous." He returned the comment. He was trying and failing, not to make it look like he was staring at her.
"You can get your gift tonight." She smiled, thinking about the gold watch she had waiting in her dorm for him. It was more than ironic they brought each other such similar jewellery, they were soulmates. "And also, you look amazing." Gently she let herself touch the bowtie, straightening it.
Draco grinned down at her, consumed by the smell of her perfume when she was so close to him. He had to fight every urge not to kiss her. "Ready to go in?" He gestured to the ballroom door.
She nodded, grabbing his pinky finger discreetly so she could touch him without anyone else seeing them.
They stood close to each other in the crowd of other students while the competitors walked through with their dates. Cedric briefly locked eyes with his sister, not noticing whose hand she was holding as he paraded his own date through the entrance.
Y/n grinned at both him and Cho, impressed by her dress. Then they split to dance with their own friends, trying to ignore the urges they were both fighting to kiss each other.
"Follow me," Y/n whispered into his ear once the ball had died down. Most of the students were leaving off beds they didn't belong in.
Draco's heart started to race as he watched the silver figure walk out of the room. He waited just long enough to see her disappear before racing out himself, hoping but not really caring if anyone noticed.
Once he reached the corridor he seemed to have lost her, a few other students were mingling around but his face dropped at the thought of her leaving him hanging.
He took a left, walking through the corridor before he found a wooden door he wasn't sure he'd seen before. Twisting the doorknob open he revealed Y/n who was standing in a small room he hadn't seen before.
"Missed you tonight." She grinned, pulling him over to her. They could still hear the slow songs playing from the ballroom and with her hands wrapped around his neck and his around her waist they began to sway.
"Missed you too." He whispered in her ear, as they danced. It was peaceful and far more quiet than the ballroom was.
When she finally looked up at him, he was staring right back down at her. His pupils were enlarged, and not just from the dark. She knew he needed something.
They were so close she could taste the punch on his breath and a hint of the cologne he put on at the start of the night. She lent up an inch and he met her lips. Unlike their usual soft kisses, this one was filled with more need.
He didn't let up either, gently slipping his tongue into her mouth. She moved her hands through his hair, tugging slightly at the blonde ends and making him groan with an open mouth. He moved his hands up from her waist, gently tracing up and down the sides of her boobs.
"Can see right down your dress, making me crazy," Draco mumbled once he pulled away to breathe, leaving both their lips wet. He slurred his words whenever he was feeling needy for her.
She grinned at him, wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him back in. He groaned again and pulled her body closer to him. They were so close as their lips and tounges continued to intertwine that she could feel his body pressed up against hers, pinning her to the wall.
Suddenly through closed eyes, they could feel the room getting lighter. Draco pulled away from her quickly, spinning around to the door.
There stood Cedric. With a frown on his face.
"Y/n Diggory, what is going on?" Cedric asked sternly. She had seen her brother made over Quidich games, or when their parents told him off but he was fuming. His eyes were angry as he glared between the pair.
She didn't want to talk to him. She just wanted to be with her secret boyfriend that nobody knew about until now. "Nothing." She mumbled her faced flushing red due to her annoyance with her brother disciplining her.
When she met Cedric's eyes he wasn't looking at her, he was looking at Draco. "We're together. We have been for a while." He quickly answered. Y/n wasn't expecting that, now looking at her brother he almost looked as shocked as angry.
"No, no way," Cedric said strictly. "There is no way this is happening." He put his hands over his eyes like it would stop the recurring image of his younger sister making out with her boyfriend.
"Stop being so dramatic." Y/n shot back at him, finally feeling less embarrassed and angrier herself. "You have no say over what I do."
"Can we go somewhere else and talk about this?" Cedric asked more calmly, refusing to look at Draco anymore.
"Why?!" Y/n spat back at him. Although they were both quick to tempers they didn't often fight. This was an anomaly for their relationship but due to their joint stubborn tempers, neither of them could stop it now.
He glared at Draco and then back at Y/n. "Because I need to talk to you!" He told her, grabbing her arm so he could pull her away from Draco.
Draco let her go, still in shock himself and Y/n let Cedric pull her away. "I'll be back." She told her boyfriend.
Cedric pulled Y/n back into the corridor, taking her to a secluded alcove. "What is wrong with you?" She quickly argued with him.
"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you?!" He mocked her, still fuming.
She rolled her eyes and huffed. "Right, I'm going back to my boyfriend." She said, tugging her arm out of his grasp.
"No, wait." His tone turned desperate as he pleaded. "Y/n, come on." There was a softness in his voice she hadn't heard today. "I'm sorry for yelling. I'm just shocked." His face was softer now as well now.
"I just hate it when you talk to me like I'm a child." Clearly one of the siblings was more stubborn.
"I know." He was being much more reasonable. "You're really with Draco Malfoy or was that a lie?"He finally found the courage to ask.
Y/n looked at him with disgust. "What? He wouldn't like someone like me?" She defended quickly.
"No, I'm not saying that. There's a lot of things that people say about him." That made her even madder.
"Draco is not what people say he is." She quickly defended, it was true. There were a lot of lies people said about him.
Now it was Cedric's turn to huff. "Really? Have you not heard stories about him hooking up with girls? All the girls he danced with tonight?"
"Shut up." Y/n pushed his chest. "He's not like that. We've been dating for 3 months." Cedric didn't say anything else, he just stood there like he was judging her. "And also I treated Cho very nicely so I would appreciate it if you did that same thing to my boyfriend." She finished not wanting to listen to him anymore. She stomped off back to Draco who now stood with his hands in his pockets near the Diggory siblings but far enough he couldn't hear.
Once she reached him she felt calm as her features relaxed. "Hi, sorry." She smiled, reaching out to hold his hands.
With their hands together at the bottom of the staircase, she leant in and kissed him on the lips, not worried about who was seeing. "Getting bold, Diggory." Draco smiled at her once she pulled away.
"If my possessive, seriously annoying older brother can't do anything about it, why not flaunt it, Malfoy?" Y/n questioned with a wide grin on her face.
She noticed his eyes shift off her and to someone standing behind her. He took his hands off her and stuck one out. "It's nice to officially meet you." Y/n then noticed her older brother standing next to her.
"You too," Cedric replied, shaking his hand. Y/n could tell he wasn't completely genuine but let Draco assume he was.
Maybe, it would be alright.

Go West
Chapter 1
The months that followed the battle of Hogwarts were tough, every night when you closed your eyes you relived seeing your classmates killed. And seeing the pain of the ones who lived, the ones who lost their best friends, the ones who lost their siblings, the ones who lost their soulmates.
You fit in there somewhere. He wasn't dead but the war caused you to lose a best friend and soulmate all in one.
There was a light of hope, getting to see all of your friends doing well with good jobs and support. Knowing that the worst was over made it easier on those dark, lonesome nights.
Now you were working in TerrorTours, the wizards travel agent as it was known by most of your customers. It was a job you had been offered right after the war so you would have something to do.
In the future, you were planning on becoming an Auror but there was quite a waiting time to get accepted and trained so, for now, the small apartment on top of the store in Diagon Alley was perfect. Although it wasn't all bad, you quite enjoyed the job.
That was until you picked up the phone one slow Friday afternoon. "TerrorTours, how can I help you?" You answer robotically, it's not that the job bored you, but you had only taken such advanced N.E.W.T classes so you could train as an Auror and now you were stuck as a wizard travel agent.
"Y/n?" The voice on the other end made your heart race and drop. You couldn't stop yourself from feeling faint as your hand got clammy. It was still the same sweet voice that sort of scared you.
Narcissa Malfoy really had called you. Your hand twitch with the phone in it as you thought about hanging up. “Yeah, hi.” Immediately you felt like an idiot about what you said. “How are you?” You added in.
“I’m well, dear. I’m not going to waste your time but I was calling about a pretty big favour...” She continued, suspiciously.
While she said she wasn’t going to waste your time she was beating around the bush quite a bit. “What is it?” She still seemed like she didn’t want to say it. “There’s not a lot that I wouldn’t do help you, Narcissa.” Over the years you had dated Draco you had grown close to Narcissa, for her kind attitude and words of advice.
After things ended with Draco, it was very hard for you to not go over and see Narcissa. So you still hadn’t seen her since before Draco and you split up.
“I need your help with him.” She simply stated. As soon as she said it queasiness came over you, nausea that made you want to rush to the bathroom and throw up lunch. Now you weren’t sure if you were going to hang up on purpose or drop the phone due to your shaking fingers.
“Narcissa.” You started, spluttering her name out as you tried to get your heart back to a normal beat.
“I know it’s a lot to ask but he hasn’t come out of his room since that day. I know he lost you a year ago but he could survive for a while because there was something for him to work to but now I don’t know what to do.” She was sobbing on the other end of the line and it made you slightly uncomfortable.
You had to sit down to have this conversation. “Why me? Why not Blaise or Pansy or Theo? They all stood by him.” It did sound harsh, although both of you knew you wouldn’t speak to Narcissa like that.
“I tried, but you’re the one he wants. He doesn’t talk much but when he does it’s about you and I know he still has nightmares.” She really was pleading with you now, a whiney twang in her voice due to how much she loved her son.
You would be lying if you told her you didn’t feel the same, there wasn’t a day when you didn’t think about Draco. “I just don’t know if I can do it now that everything is over and I haven’t seen him since that day.” You told her honestly, as though she didn’t know. There was a reason you weren’t the first call. Narcissa loved her son but she also knew how to protect the people he loved. And whether you liked it or not, that was you.
“I know, I didn’t want to do this to you but I really need to. Even if you don’t now, I know you loved him.” While she wasn’t pressuring you with the question of whether you loved him or not, it crept into your brain before you could block it.
“Please, don’t make me do this.” You pleaded one last time, a final try. There wasn’t much use but just maybe there was someone else that could help. “What do you even expect me to do?”
You could almost see her shaking her head as there was a pause over the phone. “Y/n.” Her voice was more broken now, as she sobbed into the phone. “Please, just take him for a few weeks somewhere. I know he’s always wanted to go America-”
“I know, he used to tell me.” You said before you could even stop yourself from speaking.
“Would you go then?” Narcissa begged. “I can pay for everything, I just want him to be alright.”
What you were about to say was going to mess your life up a bit. But your past self, who was deeply in love with Draco, urged you to do it. “Yes, I’ll do it.” You agreed. “But if he says one mean thing to me then he is coming right back to you.” You set your terms to her.
“He wouldn’t, love.” She assured you of something you knew, she had perked up a bit more now. “When can you come?”
“Tonight, if you get first-class tickets to New York.” There was no point in not being picky right now, she was going to give you whatever you wanted.
“You’re not just going to use floo powder?” She asked, sounding a little bit shocked.
The question wasn’t ridiculous but this wasn’t about the quickest magic way to get from country to country, it was about what you wanted to do. “No, I like muggle travel.”
Maybe it was just that it would annoy Draco if he had to sit on an aeroplane for hours.

With Me
A/n: post hogwarts, lots of muggle references, mostly fluff but sexual connotations towards the end
"You're coming out tonight, right, Y/n?" Draco asked Y/n from across the lunch table.
The six of them; Draco, Pansy, Theo, Daphne, Blaise and Y/n, were sat in one of their favourite muggle London lunch spots. It was not too far from the ministry of magic where they were all employed and they served the most delicious sandwiches.
Theo and Pansy both gave them the side-eye, the couple insinuating something to Y/n. “Yeah, sure.” It would be their usual Friday night at their local pub or maybe club, where they would mix with the muggles in an attempt to override the hatred their parents built into them.
It was the same thing every week and it was a tradition none of them ever wanted to break. Blaise would bring his wife Luna, Daphne her muggle boyfriend Jack, Theo and Pansy together always, Draco, and Y/n.
“We should go back,” Daphne mentioned, picking up her water bottle and getting up from the table.
The rest of the group followed her, getting up and making the walk back to their offices.
The rest of their days did drag on, as Friday’s usually do. Although it seemed Pansy had been busy from the look of the ‘official’ memo she sent out to the other members of the group, letting them know that instead of a pub they would be going to the theatre. It wasn’t their usual plans which excited Y/n and by the look of it, Draco sitting across the board room table from her.
When they were finally finished with work and had returned home to change into some more appropriate nightwear clothing, they met up at Blaise and Luna’s house which was well out in the country.
“Are we ready to go now?” Pansy asked, rallying the group once Daphne and Jack had finally arrived late as usual.
“I still don’t get why we’re not just going out clubbing.” Draco moaned, his green velvet suit looking very dapper.
Pansy rolled her eyes at him, they had always had a relationship of siblings and she was acting like the elder now. “Because you don’t need more numbers of girls in your phone. That’s not what phones are for.”
He huffed in return and used the floo powder to travel to London.
The city always seemed to be bustling and Y/n had to take a minute to take it all in once they got there. Draco was the only one who noticed, pulling her to get her out of the way of other pedestrians.
“Watch out, love.” He said softly, his arm still on her waist. His gentle nature was something new, only developing with the people he loved, after Hogwarts.
“Sorry.” She stuttered out, trying not to blush with him around.
He smiled his soft little smile. “Don’t apologise, you ready to go?” Draco asked, finally turning his head away from her and to the rest of their group who were walking ahead of them.
Y/n nodded and the pair continued walking behind them almost together but just far enough it could be seen as coincidental to their friends.
Once they were finally at the theare, Draco brought them all a round of drinks.  His new soft nature led to him doing things like that as well; rounds of drinks, dinners, parties and fancy birthday presents.
They all drank a lot. Round after rounds as they watched the play. And like normal they had a great night.
“We’re going now, do you want to come to our and take the floor to your place?” Pansy and Theo offered Y/n, knowing she was the only woman in their group leaving alone.
Y/n was feeling rather like puking from all the alcohol now in her system and an hour ride with Pansy and Theo making out was not appealing. “No, thanks. I’m just going to take a cab home.” She told them.
“Alone? That’s not a good idea, come with us.” Pansy defended, always the good friend.
“I’ll come with you,” Draco said, suddenly next to her and wrapping his arm around her. Pansy subtly raised her eyebrows. “And then go back to my place.” He added, noticing Pansy’s expression.
Y/n shrugged, hoping the answer was good enough for Pansy and Theo to let her go without them, then she could convince Draco to let her go alone and have a peaceful taxi ride to her place.
Pansy agreed, letting them walk off to the taxi. It wasn’t hard for them to find one and Y/n got in.
“You don’t have to come with me, Dray, I can get home myself.” She told him quickly but he ignored her, getting in the car next to her. “Fine then.” She mumbled.
He rolled his eyes but smiled. “I’m not going to let you go home by yourself.”
Y/n just looked at him, with a glare before turning her attention back to the cab driver and telling him her address.
The cab ride was much shorter than the one to Pansy and Theo’s, only 10 minutes she had to sit in that cab with Draco and stare out the window.
Once they got to her apartment Draco followed her closely inside. She got to the door and unlocked it, turning back to look at Draco. “Come in.”
He obliged, walking in and taking off his coat and walking over to her wine fridge. “What are you doing?” She asked him.
He didn’t reply, he just got out some vodka he could find. “Why do you keep it in here? That’s weird.” He continued to fumble his way around her kitchen getting some glasses.
“Personal preference.” She shrugged, taking a seat on her couch.
Draco walked over, giving her a glass and sitting next to her with his own. They sat together in silence, drinking far too much vodka added on to their previous drinks.
Y/n finished the drink before Draco, putting her glass on the table before  getting up to go off to her bedroom. “You can go whenever.” She told him as he looked up at her. Something came over her and she placed a gentle kiss on his forehead, something she’d only ever done once before.
She didn’t stick around to see how Draco reacted, she just sautered off. After she changed into a satin set of pjammas, she got into bed and sat up against the headboard, reading a few pages of the book she was trying to get through.
Draco peaked around the corner of her door with a slight tap on the doorframe. “What are you reading?” He asked her, walking over closer to her so he could get a look at the pages.
“Just a muggle book.” She commented, flipping him the cover to look at. He hummed in agreement and it was only then that she noticed how close he was to her, she could almost feel his breath on her neck.
He stood there for probably a few seconds too long. “I’m going to go.” He said, pulling himself away from her. It was like he was magnitised and every time he had to go it was painful.
Neither of them expected what happened next, her hand reached out to grab his. “Stay.” It was the only word he ever wanted to hear leave those soft, parted lips in such a delicate way.
He didn’t argue he just nodded and went to her ensuite to get undressed. When he came back she was still sitting in bed but it was obvious she had been watching for him to come out, her eyes darting back to the page.
“Guest room?” Draco asked, he was admiring her closed now. Taking in her cheekbones and perfect nose. She looked prettier than ever now, no makeup, no fancy dresses, she was just her.
She shook her head at his question. “Stay with me.” Those were the words he was waiting to hear. “If you don’t mind.” She quickly added, hoping that he wouldn’t.
“Not at all, my sweet girl.” ‘My’, he really said ‘my.’ Y/n was trying not to look at how beautiful Draco was, standing in front of her in just his underwear. She had seen him this intimately before, once back at Hogwarts but he was more built now. The lower amount of stress and consistent eating really looked good on him.
He could tell she was admiring him and the tension in the air was building. But he let it go as he slipped into the covers next to her. They almost couldn’t resist touching one another.
Y/n made the first move. She quickly swung her legs over his hips, so she was stradderling him. He didn’t stop her for a second, all he did was lean up and placed his hands on her cheeks before kissing her with more passion than she’d ever experienced.
She returned the heated kiss, messily smashing her lips onto his. It was the perfect mix of passionate and built-up tension they’ve had for years.
“I’ve loved you forever.” He pulled back to smile at the gorgeous woman sitting on his lap.
“Draco.” She smiled. “I’ve loved you even longer.”
He flipped her over so she was now lying down and he was on top of her. “Nuh-uh.”
She retaliated by using all her body weight to flip him back over, although she was convinced he was allowing her to because he was far physically stronger. “Yuh-huh.” She replied with a wide smile.
He repeated the same move but flipped her the opposite way, smartly pinning her hands above her head so she couldn’t move. She wiggled around a bit, playfully squirming around. “You’re a little minx, aren’t you?” He grinned as he traced his fingers down from her lips.
“Draco, do something.” She pleaded as she thrust her hips out, his finger close but just not close enough to where she really needed him.
And that was enough to get Draco to be with her.

Story of us
A/n: Angsty, post-Hogwarts and slightly r13 towards the end.
The history between Y/n and Draco was... complicated. There was something between them that their friends just couldn't understand. On paper there was no reason for them to dislike each other as much as they did, she was a pureblood Slytherin who grew up very similarly to him and also had to change her views like Draco did after the war.
They shared trauma and multiple parallel life experiences but they just didn't get along. Pansy and Daphne never got it, why Y/n had that look of disgust on her face once Draco finished talking.
Blaise and Theo thought it would get better after they left Hogwarts and didn't spend all their free time together, but still, Draco rolled his eyes whenever she walked into the room.
Now they were adults in the wide world, jobs, partners but the tightknit friend group stayed close. Friday nights were always time they spent together, reserved for clubbing or a pub night out or even sitting on Blaise and Pansy's living room floor.
Tonight it was the latter. With a G and T (her favourite muggle alcohol) in her hand, Y/n sat on their couch next to Pansy who had had a lot more than her to drink.
Just as the boys had taken out their hidden stash of weed, Y/n spoke up. "I'm going to go outside." It wasn't that she was opposed to weed, she just didn't like the smell and the boys always insisted on smoking so much they couldn't see out the windows.
Blaise and Pansy's apartment had a beautiful wrap-around balcony. While Y/n and Draco were both fair wealthier, they both received substantial graduation gifts that went a long way to getting an apartment in a good part of London.
They had been together since the last year of Hogwarts, all of their friends watching them slowly grow closer over the year until they realised they were in love.
It was beautiful and while 17-year-old Y/n envied them, she always wanted to speak at their wedding.
As soon as she opened the balcony door the still night air hit her. While it was colder than inside, the sweet smell of the summer air made it a nice contrast.
The sun was just setting in the distance and the sky was the most beautiful golden, pink colour. It was the time Y/n always liked to look out her window at during the war, knowing there was peacefulness at the end of the day always made the long days feel slightly better. The way the warm light danced over the water, dancing on the walls of the usually dark dormitory.
Standing out on the balcony, where the world was right and falling into place felt a lot better. Like nothing could get her down.
She was off in her own world, not noticing when Draco opened the sliding door and walked out next to her.
"Shit Draco!" She shrieked once he put his hand on her lower back. She ignored the tingling feeling in her stomach as she glared at him.
Draco stepped closer to her, maybe too close for her liking. "You could really do with some weed to chill out." He told her, holding the joint closer to her face. "This stuff is the shit, just fresh from my guy." He continued to tell her.
Maybe she would have been interested in Draco if he were less cocky, less rude and a bit more sensitive. Something in his bad-boy image had developed over the year that meant she liked him less.
"Do you always insist on speaking like a druggy?" Y/n asked him, watching him carefully as he looked over the railing with his joint.
He retaliated quickly. "Do you always insist on being such a tight ass, Miss Goody-two-shoes?" He couldn't understand why she always seemed to spoil their fun, ever since they were sorted into Slytherin.
She just rolled her eyes at him and stared out into the distance. While he was no longer disturbing her silence he was still disturbing her peace and alone time.
She didn't feel like arguing with him either, it was just too much effort. Draco stood there, smoking his joint while Y/n gazed at the skyline.
“Why are you even out here?” Y/n snapped at him, suddenly feeling annoyed by the smell of his smoking.
“Because I can be, what even is your problem with me?” He was definitely going to find out how she felt now, pushing her to the limits made her snappy.
She rolled her eyes at him, obviously annoyed. “We faced pretty much all of the same challenges in life, but you just became a failure and it really annoys me.”
“Well, you’re just a slut who hooked up with several guys at school, none of which liked you for any reason other than your body.” Draco’s words did hurt her quite a bit, it wasn’t like she didn’t know he hated her but hearing him say that the people she’d been intimate with never actually cared for her hurt.
“Fuck off, Draco.” She told him, carefully.
The look on his face showed her that he was not going to stop for a second. “Just because you don’t like the truth, bitch.”
“Just leave me alone.” She told him, turning away.
Draco couldn’t stop winding her up now, it just brought him too much amusement. “Or what, Y/l/n, will you sleep with me like you did every other guy?”
Y/n turned around and put her hand up to slap Draco’s cheek. It wasn’t as hard as she could have hit him but it was the hardest she ever hit anyone. There was a loud sound as her palm contacted his face.
Still stunned and with her hand in mid-air, Draco snatched her wrist. There they were standing in a face-off, Draco’s slim finger wrapped around her wrist and suddenly there was not one sound. Both of them staring into each other’s eyes. Although Y/n felt threatened, never one to back down from a challenge she scrutinized his eyes.
Draco was seeing red, his least favourite of all the colours. He was like a bull staring down where he was going to charge. The colour of hatred, blood, anger and passion.
The passion she felt for him, it was surging from where he was touching her. He was the energy source that filled her usually with range but now it was amour fou.
In a moment Draco released his grip on her hand and moved his hands to her cheeks. Unlike his prior roughness, his thumb stroked along her cheekbones softly and carefully like he was afraid to break her as he lay his fingers under her jawline.
His softness was a complete shock to Y/n who was still gazing into his eyes. The cold fingertips were more gentle than she’d ever expected, dancing across her jawline with such care. She wasn’t sure she’d ever experienced a touch this delicate.
There they stayed for a few moments, taking each other in. Both of their minds were on the other, brains frenzied trying to figure out how this had happened. Draco was sure he was infatuated with her perfume, obsessed over the perfect blend of coconut and vanilla that was all he could focus on.
Before either of them could think about the consequences their lips were pressed together in a heated kiss. The passion radiated off them, electricity circuiting through them. And it finally felt, for both of them, that every little puzzle piece fit.
Eventually they lips parted, their eyes flickering open. Draco was an inch from her face, not believing just how beautiful she was. He held his hands on her face tighter not wanting to let her slip out of his grip.
“Draco Malfoy, I am 100% in love with you.” Y/n slowly let out. She’d just kissed her arch-enemy so there was no point in not being truthful.
He smirked, that cute little smirk that had only ever annoyed her from across the common room. “Damn it, y/l/n!” He exclaimed with mock anger. “Now we’re going to tell our kids that mum said ‘I love you’ first.” It was odd for Y/n to see him like that as they were usually at each other’s throats. And now he was thinking about their very distant future.
She smiled to match his. “Just tell me it back, you dork.”
“I am 110% in love with you.” Draco counted. “Do you want to come back to my place?”
Y/n’s face turned to worry. “This isn’t a joke, is it?” Usually, this isn’t the type of shit he would pull but she’d never know.
“No, no, no.” His fingers were back stroking her cheeks. “I am really sorry about what I said, believe me, I’ll never say something like that again.”
Something in Y/n knew he wasn’t lying. There was no chance he didn’t feel the same passion he did in the kiss. “Well, you could take me to dinner before you try and get into my panties.”
Draco let out a light laugh, blowing air right onto her face. “Whoever said I wanted to do that, you flirt?”
“Don’t act like you don’t want to fuck me.” The chemistry between them was electric and hot. The pair looking into each other's eyes with desire.
“Let’s go before I do you right here.” Y/n looked at him with challenging eyebrows. “Do you need me to prove it?”
Y/n pulled back from his grip on her face, leaving Draco standing there like an idiot. “Hurry up then.” She said, looking back over her shoulder with a smile as she went to open the patio door.

Talk it out
A/n: 6th year or Half-blood prince with death eater Draco. Be prepared for angst.
“Draco told me he wants to talk to you.” Pansy Parkinson spoke as she took a seat next to you in the library. She wasn’t exactly a friend of yours, but more of Draco’s so her statement wasn’t anything less than obligatory.
As you looked up at her the walls of books seemed to be getting closer and closer and you almost couldn’t breathe, your heart thumping in your chest. Hearing anyone say Draco’s name made your stomach churn, in the worst way.
Pansy didn’t seem to realise the effect her words had on you and she continued to gossip while you packed up your things to go and see your boyfriend if he still was that.
Hogwarts had never seemed as dim as it had recently, maybe it was the summer slowly slipping away and the days getting shorter or maybe it was the exceedingly challenging N.E.W.T classes that had left you with little time to see your friends.
Or maybe it was the Draco situation.
Draco had been the most loving boyfriend since March of your 4th year. The summer between your 4th and 5th year was spent at the Manor, acting like kids in love. There was no better feeling that summer.
Once you were back at school for your 5th year you and Draco didn't slip out of the routine of being together every second you could. As summer turned into winter you continued to spend as much time as you could together. Christmas break was spent at your place, much to Narcissa’s upset but with the promise you’d visit soon, she was alright with supporting it.
As you walked down the paved corridor to see your boyfriend if he still was that, you couldn’t help but replay all of the awkward moments between you and Draco since you came back from summer break between 5th and 6th year.
It didn’t start until after your one year anniversary, something just felt off. Both Draco and you had fallen into autopilot due to your upcoming exams. With Umbridge's new regime for separation of boys and girls, as well as no out of class activities spending time together, spending time together became exceedingly difficult.
It did surprise you when Draco didn’t invite you to his place over summer or make any plans to hang out. So it all fell apart. Over summer you tried to write letters and keep in contact with him but it didn’t seem reciprocated and something in you changed.
Back to school in summer, it got better. You talked and everything seemed like it was getting better until Draco started vanishing. He seemed to not be around at all and it really started to annoy you so you threw yourself into your study. And that was how life was now.
Now as you rounded the corner to Draco’s dorm room there was a feeling in the pit of your stomach you couldn’t shake.
Lightly, you tapped on the door, only for Draco to swing it open and move to the side to let you in without a word. His face was twisted into an expression you couldn’t read and he moved stiffly.
Without really knowing what to do you stood in his dorm while he rearranged things on his desk.
“Why am I here, Draco?” You asked, the words falling out before you could focus on how your tone sounded.
“I thought we should talk.” He told you, finally making the eye contact that he hadn’t made when he let you in. You could see the broken look in his face, somewhere between tired and empty. Whatever it was, this wasn’t your Draco.
You nodded your head slightly. The whole tension of the room felt awkward, stiff. “What happened between us?” You finally worked up the courage to ask and address the elephant in the room.
He ran his hand through his hair roughly. “We’re falling apart, y/n.” It stung to hear that, even just Draco saying your name and not a pet name.
“Nothing has changed, Draco.” You plead with him, reaching out to grab his hands. It was like a final plead for his love. Beautiful Draco was stood there in front of you and you weren’t the one he wanted.
He moved his hands away from you, running them through his hair. “It has, and I know you know it.”
The tears threatened to spill over, a lone one cascading down your cheek. Draco went to wipe it but pulled his hand back. Your chest felt like it was collapsing in, it was getting harder to breathe and your brain spun. Maybe you wanted to cry or throw up.
“If you cry, I’ll want you to stay, and if you stay that will just give you another reason to hate me.” He was speaking softer now, like he didn’t want to hurt you. The irony was unmatchable when you were already burning inside.
You tried to softly smile, although it hurt. “I could never hate you, Dray.”
“Thank you.” He simply said, sitting on the bed.
“I’ll go.” You turned and walked to the door. In your head you were silently pleading for Draco to spin you around and kiss you, promising to stop all the hurt you were feeling. “Promise me one thing though?” You didn’t want to be the one who was turning around but you were.
Once you finally looked at him you could see the tears coming from his eyes, streaming down his beautiful sharp cheekbones. “Yeah?” All you wanted to do was run over there and kiss him, even though he had caused your pain.
“When you’re over this... this slump that you’re in.. promise me you’ll come and find me.” You didn’t want to push any more questions on him.
“I will” He didn’t change his tone.
Maybe, for now, this was just what he needed. And Draco would always be your priority.
