BSD X reader insert!
-This is going to be different from the other stories. It's obviously a different fandom, but I'd like to point out there are no ships. (That follow through at least)
-There is a bit of Dazai X reader.
Warnings: SH mention, death, etc, reader has SH scars btw, but that's not the focus.
--------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------
How long have you been here?
Every object around you has been observed more than once. You saw the cracks, crevices and dried grey paint on the walls. You traced the white desk in front of you in boredom, metal clanging as you moved your hand.
Your hands mimicked a person, making your two fingers walk along the table. Nails made a high-pitched sound as they collided. Your fingers did a little dance, then they turned.
"How long is this going to take." You said to no-one in particular. Your eyes followed your fingers, watching how they moved along.
A breath came out of your mouth as you slouched in the metal chair. Your head resting on the back-rest.
"Sit back up Y/N L/N. No time for slouching."
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head and slouched even more.
"You try being in a sticky cell. Do you even clean those walls?" You pointed behind you.
"Normally it's a lot worse. Blood doesn't come off easily."
"Have you tried baking soda and vinegar? It sounds like bogas, but it works on mine." You smiled coolly at his attempt to scare you.
He rolled his eyes in response and crossed his arms. Probably an attempt to recover his fragile ego. You watched him glance down the long hall.
"Why the chains anyway?" You asked, making conversation. He didn't turn to you.
"Real mature, Akutagawa."
You heard the door clang, opening to reveal Mori. Your frown becomes more evident. Now you're paying attention to your heart, to keep it from distracting you. Your breathing changes to a more composed state. Minimal oxygen going into your lungs.
You're scared of him. Hearing what he has done to former Port Mafia members, and current ones, made you aware of his presence more.
When you walked into the building, you kept your walls up. Even with your mask covering, your eyes searched every corner, every trace he has made. In order to avoid him.
Now you can't escape. You're locked in here. With him in front of you.
"Y/N L/N..." He dragged your name as if it was the worst slur known. His creepy smile didn't faze you, it was the soulless eyes that got you.
The true eyes of a psychopath.
Dead.
No matter how much he smiled, how much he hid them, you could see those eyes.
You tried your best to preserve yourself, but your heart rate was increasing. This made you lift your head a little and breath a bit more than you monitored.
His smile contorted.
Fuck.
You felt your throat run dry, your neck twitched as you tried to get that hydration back.
"I want to assign you...with a very important mission." He spoke at a slower pace, so you understood every word he said.
"And what would that be." You quickly composed yourself afterwards, hearing the slight nerves in your voice.
He turned his head slightly, his hair slowing with it.
"I want you to capture him."
He slid a picture close to you, you lifted your wrists, with chains, and turned the picture around. Your eyes shot open as you looked back up at him.
"Alive." He stood up with both hands on the table. His chair screeched back from his movement.
"Fail, and this will be your last mission." His face fell as he spoke those last words. Your eyes fell back on the picture, doubts filled your mind.
------------------------------------
A week passed you quicker than expected. Every day, and night, you searched. You infiltrated highly restricted areas, had co-workers hack systems to get records. You had people who 'knew' people search. Soon, a majority of the Port Mafia were searching.
At this point, it was obvious what was happening. Everyone knew the Mafia was searching for someone, but no-one knew who. The mere fact that so many valuable people were risking their lives to even sneak a glance at him, shows he's dangerous.
You were taught to never underestimate your enemies, no matter how pathetic their reputation or records were. This person, you already knew he figured you out.
You knew he caught on by day one. Even though you never saw him, it doesn't mean he hasn't seen you. If the area was clear, you felt a pair of eyes follow. You felt his eyes and it scared you.
If the choice was up to you, he should have been the leader of the Port Mafia. His expression put Mori's to shame, made Akutagawas power look weak. If anyone were to underestimate him, god be with them.
"Any progress?"
"None so far."
"Sector A is clear."
"Nothing here either, L/N." Akutagawas voice responded, you let out a groan of annoyance.
You turned from the buildings foundation, and walked to the other side. You glanced across the men you had on the streets.
"Bloody hell."
"What? What is it?"
"This man is difficult to find." You sighed, until your ears picked something up. You walk to the sound and peak over the alleyway beneath you. A flash of white shot up in front of you, causing you to flail back.
"On me!" You shouted into the microphone, rolled back and shot up at the light.
"Weretiger!" You informed neighbouring authorities of who it was, and they surrounded the rooftops.
He shot at you quicker than you could register. His eyes were a fearsome yellow, distorted face resembling a tiger. His arms were huge compared to his body.
You dodged toward the ground, rolling to prevent impact. His punch collided with the cement roof, making a massive crater.
"Ignore him, our focus is the target!" You shouted, but they disobeyed and engaged with the Weretiger.
"I have Dazai!" Akutagawas voice rang through your earpiece, making you wince.
"No the hell you don't!"
"What?!"
"Why would he make himself evident to you of all people?! He hates you!" You shouted, now running across rooftops towards his location.
"Explain to me why there's an Armed Detective Agency van here!" He shouted back at you.
"Where is here?!"
"The docks you idiot! That's where you told me to search!"
"What?!" Your eyes widened at the words, stress overflowing in you.
"Akutagawa get out of there! It's a trap!" You vaulted over a railing, edging closer to the docks.
"And how would you know?"
"Because I didn't fucking tell you to search the docks! I told you to-"
A massive explosion cuts you off, fire and smoke colliding in a cloud. Debre flung everywhere, metal crashing on nearby rooftops and on the road. Some crashed onto cars, blood splashed onto windshields.
Your heart stops at the sight. Fire reflecting in your eyes.
"I told you back at the base where you should search. I told you-!" You turned and pointed at Akutagawa, who landed a few seconds before.
"-that this would happen! And what do you do?! You ignore my warnings and do it anyway! How fucking ignorant do you have to be-!"
A black and red rope coils around your neck, taking the air out of you.
"Listen and listen carefully." He brought your body towards him forcefully, almost flinging you.
"You are not the boss of me. You have no choice in what I do. Talk to me like that again and I'll rip your head off." He glared into your eyes, your bodies close.
"Do it then." You spat at him.
"Akutagawa!" You heard someone shout from the distance, he let go of you and copped a hit from a white flash.
Akutagawa and the Weretiger flung into the taller building neighbouring the one you stood on. The glass windows shattering upon impact. Akutagawa then uses his ability to wrap him up, like he did to you, and threw him near you.
He crashed next to you, but gained his composure from the impact.
"What have you done with Dazai?!" He shouted up at him.
"I have done nothing to him!"
"Don't play dumb with me! Where is he?!"
A pause ran through the air, your eyes wandered in front of you, then you looked up at Akutagawa. He hung onto the building and peered down at you.
"We don't know where he is." You spoke up, Atsushi looked at you, still in his tiger form.
Akutagawa flew over to you and Atsushi and landed next to you. His hands planted into his coat pockets.
"If you two didn't take him, then who did?" Atsushi asked, panicked.
"Any reported sights of Dazai?" You called into your earpiece. Silence.
"Hello?"
"Hey! Answer me!" You shouted.
"Don't shout in my ear!" Akutagawa shouted at you.
"We need to find our men." You stated. Running off from the two.
________________________________________________________________________
Another day of nothing. No evidence, no leads, not even a trace. The men that were sent out to assist were injured, fortunately, only thirteen were killed. Not that their lives didn't matter to you. You've become so used to violence, that you don't shed a tear for a life lost.
The only exception, of course, is someone you loved.
You connected your music to the speaker. In the living room, lived a beautiful vintage coffee table. The rooms style is straight out of a 60s film. It had character, which you loved dearly. Your entire house did in fact.
However, you did have a modern touch to it as well. The kitchen counter tops were a nice marble, but you made up for it with antiques you decided would look good on the counter.
The ceiling lights were almost never used unless you wanted to take a picture. You used candles, lamps, anything besides that dreadful, blinding white light.
Every time you entered your home, you felt like a different person. You entered your souls home, the place of comfort.
The speaker begins playing your favourite hits, erupting into the lounge room. It wasn't too loud to bother neighbours, but enough to let them know you were having a damn good time.
You were already in your comfort clothes, dancing along to the music. You twirled, spun and did questionable movements. Your skills didn't matter as the music flowed within you like your own blood.
At a particular part of your playlist, you sang to your heart's desire. Why let your body hog the music and not let your heart speak?
You weren't tone deaf at all, matching the notes to a decent extent. You couldn't reach higher notes, so you didn't bother and let the music back into your body.
Now you were preparing dinner, stove heating and you're still grooving. You laid your ingredients out.
You needed this, to let loose. The Port Mafia and Armed Detective Agency gave you stress over the past few weeks, even more so in the past one. No-one bothered you when you were home.
Well they tried to, but outside of work hours you did not answer texts. The exception being your boss, since you were scared of him. Maybe scared isn't the correct word, you were wary of him.
The pan sizzled from the food you put in, and while you were waiting, you chopped up some vegetables to go with your dinner. A variety of nutrients was needed in such a cruel job.
"Having fun?"
...
You stopped chopping the carrot you were on. No-one has ever been in your apartment before, what the hell do you do?
You gripped the knife, and threw it directly at where the voice came from. It sliced through the air, twirling like a windmill. The person moved it's head slightly, amused.
"Don't look so shocked, what did you expect?" Dazai smiled at you.
What the hell was he doing here?
Your mind went from 'why is this strange man that I'm after in my home' to 'the foods burning'. You quickly turned back around, grabbing the spatula in a panic to turn the food in your pan. In the midst, you turned to him, still in the same place.
He didn't try anything, he just stayed in that area. You grabbed your sauces in a rush and threw them in. It was still the same amount, but your body was almost in shock.
"What do you want, exactly?" You asked, breaking the tension.
"Is it so wrong to talk with a former co-worker?" He asked.
You sighed, turning off the stove. The sizzling stopped as you moved the pan away from the hot element.
"Don't answer my question with a question. What do you want?" You repeated, walking towards the higher cupboards where your plates are.
"Tell me, L/N, where would I find the replicated documents of my...time at the Port Mafia?"
"You came to me to ask that? I don't have access to those documents."
"Oh, but you do. You may not have the direct permission, but you know exactly where they are. Mm, why may that be?"
You stopped plating your food on the counter. He was now on your couch, looking at you with an unreadable expression.
"I'm not surprised you know. Who would be at this point."
"Why do you want to leave the Port Mafia, L/N?"
You listened to your playlist in the background, trying to ignore his question. He has ruined your entire mood. So much for letting loose.
"I would much rather have this conversation in a more...safe location." You stated, making a quick glance at the camera in the corner of your living room.
He didn't say anything, but grabbed your phone and turned up the volume. He did so hidden from the camera.
"He can still see us, you know that right?" You asked with sarcasm.
"Mm, how would that be solved?" He stood up from your couch, grabbed his gun and shot the camera quicker than you could figure out what was happening.
"Why the hell would you do that in my house?!" You yelled.
"The music covered the sound, relax." He stated, placing the gun back into its socket. You were gobsmacked.
"You still shot a bullet in my house!"
"You have also shot bullets into people's heads, what's the difference?" He asked, looking at you.
"...My antiques are expensive."
________________________________________________________________________
You walked into the familiar hallways of the Port Mafia building. Your suit on you like a glove, highlighting your physique. The mask covered your mouth and nose.
Your thoughts retracted back to yesterday. It was a very eventful day, much more than others. The search, the Weretiger, the explosion of a docks complex and of course Dazai on your couch.
It was a hard thing to process.
The only thing you had to worry about today is to completely avoid Mori, under any and all circumstances. He would have seen the video, and probably heard the beginning of yours and Dazais conversation.
It was probably Dazais intention to let Mori eavesdrop. Not that you would complain, he was right that you hated the Port Mafia.
The mere idea of Mori interrogating you made you nervous. This was the last thing you wanted from the Port Mafia boss.
The clicks of your shoes echoed in the hallway you walked. You had to act normal. Mori didn't hear the importance of the discussion, your plans. However, he did hear Dazai say:
"Why do you want to leave the Port Mafia, L/N." His smile showed that his plan was for Mori to hear that specific part. He set you up for today. You knew he would pull such a thing, but this did benefit you.
It dropped the hint you held onto for the past four years.
Didn't change the fact he could murder you at any point in these hallways.
You walked through the building as per routine. The rooms are coming into view. It would be wrong to call them individual dorm rooms, but it was more of a closet.
You already had your gear on you, it's placed in your home. The only reason you didn't want to use the provided closets is because certain people like to snoop.
Your guns were way too valuable for some pesky guy to put his hands on. It cost you a lot of heads.
With the Mafia, you get a paycheck with each target you have killed. It wasn't the preferred method you would have liked to receive money, but it was worth it.
"Where have you been?" A voice knocked you out of your thoughts. You recognised it as Kouyou Ozaki, one of the many people you despised. She loved to take control over people, manipulating them into thinking they need her.
You also recognised her behaviour towards Kyoka, a young girl with a similar ability to Kouyou. She ended up taking the mother role, thinking she was being a good mother by keeping her in the darkness.
It caused a conflict a while ago, when Kyoka tried to get out of the Port Mafia. Kouyou Ozaki went that day, the day many men were killed, and where more were gravely injured.
Its a miracle Kyoka survived, maybe from the protection of the Weretiger.
Anyway, you didn't like how Kouyou had the roles she didn't deserve. Especially since she didn't really care about Kyoka.
"That is none of your business." You replied to her, back towards her. She stood behind you, almost threatening to place that sword straight through your abdomen.
"We all heard the recording. Do you really think you can leave the Port Mafia without guns to your head?" She asked. You knew that Mori saw the video, but you didn't think he would show the other members of the Port Mafia.
"It does not matter how many there are, Kouyou. I can leave whenever I'd like."
"Then why didn't you when Dazai left? Is there really no reason you stayed or are you leaving something out." She stated, walking closer to you.
"I have no obligation to tell my story, nor will I listen to you pry. Have you ever wondered why Kyoka left?" You asked, turning to face her. She looked at you, with a stoic expression.
"It's because you always have to stick your nose somewhere it shouldn't be. Kyoka left because she hated it here, as do I, and you pestering her made her leave faster." You didn't have an expression, merely watching her eyes turn that of flames.
"Do not speak to me that way-"
"You also think you have authority to ask me such questions and demand respect. You will never earn it." You raised your voice, hearing her anger from before.
She stayed silent, her posture upright as she peered down at you. You did the same, looking at her with nothing more than remorse. Her sigh broke the silence between you two.
"Despite everything, the hatred you feel for me and the Mafia. I hope you make it out alive," she spoke softer, walking past you. She stopped walking once she passed and continued, "I do ask one thing of you, L/N."
You hummed, letting her know you were listening.
"Take care of Kyoka for me, you will do a better job than I ever have." She walked away after she spoke, letting her words sink in.
You would have taken care of her anyway, she was a child in this mess. You two didn't speak that often, but there were times when you took care of her. By Kouyous message, she did try to care for her. It wasn't enough, but it was something.
You and Kyoka were acquainted, you weren't friends but you weren't strangers. You were more of a supporter and defended her when you could. It wasn't much, but you saved her a few times from being killed.
However, you couldn't help her escape.

Mori had called you into his office, he sent Akutagawa to find you. It was foolish to come here, you knew the consequences, but you did anyway. You needed to do one more thing before you left for good.
You walked through the double doors, two men holding them open for you. You didn't thank them, as you normally would. Except you walked right through and stared into Mori's eyes. He sat behind his desk, Elise playing with her toys next to him.
As you walked closer, something felt off. He wasn't moving, neither was Elise. Normally Elise wouldn't be able to stay still.
You paused mid-walk, frowning as you looked at the pair. A sound came into your hearing, a quiet beep, now getting progressively louder.
Your eyes shot open as you ran back to the double doors. They were shut closed and locked from the outside. You banged on the door, kicking it with full force. The sound got louder as you realised what you had to do.
You looked back in the direction of Mori and Elise in horror, seeing they weren't there. The small black disks on the desk told you they were holograms.
A fucking trap this high in the air?! You were at the top of the building!
Time seemed to slow as you sprinted towards the windows, your only escape now. You grabbed your gun from your hip, aiming towards the windows. You shot as many times as you could, trying to split apart the glass.
Failing to destroy it, you resorted to running straight through it. You shielded you face with your forearms, and jumped through the glass, breaking it down.
Reality returns to normal pace, with you falling out the broken window from a deafening height. Only seconds after you jumped, the top floors exploded. The sound makes your ears scream at a high pitch.
You turned midair, to witness debris flying out from the floors. Metal, windows and parts of the walls came with the fire breaking out of the building.
Your hair flowing around your face, as you stared up at the explosion. Cold air tickles your skin, goosebumps forming from the sudden change of temperature.
You didn't like the agency, they didn't like you. But never, would you have thought, they'd try to blow you up.
Did they think you were dangerous? That you were horrible enough to blow up half a building just to kill you?
It didn't make sense.
Your thoughts raced, one coming in, staying for a few seconds, then another, and another.
Soon each thought, sprinted and pushed the other out of your mind. The next one shoves the previous even harder. And harder, and harder.
Everything hurt. Your throat hurts, your lungs and your head pounded.
Someone was screaming, so loud. It was deafening, you could feel it through your entire body.
You edged closer to the ground. Your tears floated up from you, like some backwards waterfall.
Was this it? The end of your life?
You let out your last breath, closing your eyes.
________________________________________________________________________
You fell into a weird place. Everything was white, pale white. There was no glare in the light, you edged closer towards it. There were no thoughts present, just you walking. Nothing else bothered you.
One step in front of the other.
Left foot, right foot, left foot, right-
"¶¢[©✓¢^¢×`"
foot, left foot-
"✓``§¢[€§`=,€✓`§``[€§!"
What was that noise?
You paused, stopping midway. You were so close to the light, why did something have to disturb you?
"Wbsosbw, sjssosmwu. Sjwwosbd?"
Who is muttering this gibberish?
You looked around, trying to find the source. Nothing but white surrounded you. That was until you saw another white light, it was brighter than the other.
It was more appealing, the other seemed dim in comparison.
You walked towards this one. A walk turned into a run, a sprint. You soon found yourself bolting towards this light. Why were you so eager?
The light came closer, until you crashed into it. This small crash, caused you to fall. It mimicked how you passed away, falling backwards.
Your hair flowing around you...
You fell further, and further. The more you did, the more scared you became. Where was the ground?
Turning, you see the ground fly at you. It hit you immediately, but it was a light collision.
------------------
You screamed, sitting upright. Your chest clenched, tears rolling down your face.
Wait.
You could see. You could see a room, it wasn't white. The bed and walls were, but there were more colours.
"Are you alright?" Someone barged through a door you just noticed. You look up towards the sound and see Atsushi. You didn't blink, just stared at him.
He smiled at you, before saying.
"They're awake!"
Were you not just...dead? Was that a dream?
You looked down at your hands, they were wrapped up, some blood seeping through. Turning them around, you realised this wasn't a dream either, you felt real.
You could breathe, you could blink and think. How is this possible?
"Afternoon, L/N, how are you feeling?" A lady, you heard her name was Akiko Yosano, walked in with white gloves. They looked like surgery gloves they use in the hospital.
"I'm...alright? A little jet-lagged I suppose..." You spoke softly, still trying to wake up.
"Ah don't worry about that, just a little side effect." She walked closer to your bed, blowing air into the gloves to readjust them.
"Side effect?" You frowned, trying to comprehend what she was talking about. Did she poison you?
"My ability is 'Thou shalt not die', basically bringing people back from the dead." She explained.
You made an 'oh' sound, now understanding what happened. A question pondered in your mind, you were unsure if you should ask it. The sound of a chair made you look at Atsushi, getting comfortable on the left side of the bed.
"Oh, hey Dazai." Atsushi spoke, looking towards the door. You followed suit, seeing Dazai leaning on the door, arms crossed. He was already looking at you, he had little to no expression. You were used to this by now.
"Atsushi, could you leave us for a moment?" He asked, looking at him.
"O-oh sure. Hope you feel better." He smiled at you and walked towards the exit. Dazai gave way, motioning him through. Once he walked out, he closed the door and walked towards Atsushis previous spot.
"Can't believe that the building exploded." Yosano spoke, unwrapping your hands. She was going to change the dressing so it wouldn't get infected. You don't remember how you got those, maybe from the landing.
"You used to be part of the Mafia as well, right? I barely saw you." You said, looking up at her on your right.
"That's because you avoided Mori, I was always with that bastard."
"Sucky..." You commented, reflecting on the ugly faced boss you remember.
A silence fell over the room, it wasn't that awkward, but it was since the only thing you had in common was murder, the Port Mafia and Mori being your boss.
"Have you destroyed the documents?" Dazai asked out of the blue, you turned to him, looking into his eyes. You looked into his right one (or left on your side), since you never used to see it.
It looks the same as the other, it just looked odd because you've never seen it up close until now.
"I didn't get time to check... Mori, or 'holographic Mori' called me up to his office a few minutes after I entered the building."
"Don't you think your criminal records are more important than your former boss?" He inquired, his hands were interlocked as he leaned his arms on his thighs. He had a small frown this time.
"I know, I'm stupid-"
"Now they can leak your documents and expose you."
"Yeah I-"
"You'll be known to the general public and be classified as a criminal."
"I get it Dazai! Damn, I just got back from the dead and you're already lecturing me." You turned your body away from him.
A moment of silence crossed the air before he sighed.
"I'll get someone to erase your record." He informed.
"Wait seriously? You can- oh yeah you can. How else did you get out." You sounded enthusiastic at the beginning, but died out at the end.
"On one condition."
You turned back around, looking up at him from your laying position.
"I'm all ears." You stated, a small smile on your face.
"You join the Armed Detective Agency." He finished. You began laughing at his comment, covering your mouth as you had a little laughing fit.
Once you realised no-one was laughing, you looked at him through your tears.
"Oh, wait, you're serious?" You asked.
"Dazai, I can't just switch leagues." You stated, then realising the other two people in the room have as well.
"I've killed-" They have too, you idiot.
You internally conflicted yourself.
"I don't even have a special ability." You said sheepishly.
"Do you really not understand, L/N." Dazai spoke, looking down at you.
"I do understand how crazy it is, even though you two pulled it off doesn't mean I can."
"Not that."
"What don't I understand Dazai?" You asked, cutting the chase you started.
"You have a special ability, you just never used it."

Chapter 1 ended.
That, ladies and gentlemen is all I have time for. I've been really unmotivated lately, yknow how life goes. I may or may not update this story, you'll never know.
Anyway, not really proof read, so ignore any mistakes.
Lots of love,

Bakusquad X Reader [Skin Care]
Romantic or Platonic: Platonic.
Subject: Sleepover/skin care
(a little bakugo X reader, but nothing romantic if that makes sense.)
I did add some of my own things, like the food protocols in the dorms. It has nothing to do with the original story line, it's just something I made up.
------------------------------------
Readers pov:
The week had finally finished. It was a long, excruciating week of pain. Aizawa explained we needed to work on our quirks more, you didn't understand at first until he showed the results from today in comparison to the start of the year. It definitely gave us a reality check.
Third person pov:
The class seemed to waddle into the dormitories, everyone's legs almost giving out as soon as they walked through the double doors. The stronger ones, Bakugo, Midoriya and Todoroki were even struggling. One of your closest friends, Mina face planted at the door, making you trip over her.
"Mina! Seriously?" You exclaim, equally as tired. She groaned an apology from beneath you. You slowly rolled off her, ending up laying right next to her. You look up at the ceiling, seeing little black dots in your vision.
"We have to get up, otherwise we'll sleep." You said.
"Are you two okay?" Kirishima asked, looking down on you two with a slight smile.
"Absolutely...not." You reply, letting your head fall on the floor.
You see Kirishima offers a hand to you. Lazily, you fling your hand into his and he pulls you up. He slightly struggles by how tired he is, but he gets you up none the less.
"What do we do about this...thing." You say, gesturing to Mina. Kirishima places his hands on his hips, thinking to himself.
"We could carry her to the elevator, we should be fine once we reach our floor." He inquires.
Your attention turned to the front door, seeing Kaminari.
"Oh no..."
Kaminari trips over Mina, the same way you did minutes ago. He falls onto Mina, causing her to let out a sound of pain.
"What the hell is wrong with you two?! Get your asses up." Bakugo walked back into your vision, going over to Mina and Kaminari.
"Should we do something..." Kirishima asked you, you shush him as you watch the scene unfold.
Bakugo grabbed both of them by the school collar and picked them up onto their feet.
"Didn't know he was that strong." You say, impressed.
"Hey are you calling us heavy!" Kaminari accused you.
"What- no! I'm just saying he's strong...?"
"If you're exhausted then you're weak!" Bakugo yelled at them, Mina's face scrunched at his voice. You walked over to Mina and held her up.
"We have to get them to bed, otherwise we'll all end up as doormats." You commented, straining to keep yourself up as well. Kirishima came next to you, and helped Kaminari stay upright.
"Alright, let's go. I have this one." You laughed a bit at Kirishima's words and started guiding Mina to the elevator. It seems everyone else was lagging behind, some weren't even in the building yet.
'Midoriya and Todoroki must be in bed already.' You thought as you struggled to hold both yourself and Mina upright.
"Would you hurry the hell up?!" Bakugo shouted from ahead. He was standing at the elevator, but the button was already pressed for the fourth floor.
"We're almost there Bakugo! We don't have stamina like you man." Kirishima replied, holding Kaminari more firmly this time.
"Yeah cut us some slack, would you? Besides, I think Mina's asleep, she went really limp." You added, looking to see if Mina passed out.
"Actually I think he's gone as well." Kirishima said as he glanced at Kaminari.
You rolled your eyes at the two limp friends. Letting out a small breath, you readjusted yourself and Mina. Once in a strong position, you lifted Mina up in a bridal style. The elevator let off a high pitched sound, letting you know the elevators come down to the ground level. The doors open, letting Bakugo walk inside first.
"Bakugo, you'll have to stop yelling now. They need their rest." You inform Bakugo, who rolled his eyes in response. Your legs are slowly getting weaker, a slight shake spreading through your quads.
Kirishima comes through the elevator doors, with a very limp Kaminari in his arms. It's a good thing Kirishima was able to carry him.
The doors slowly closed, leaving most of the Bakusquad tired. You wondered if Sero was even in the building yet, or if he fainted on the pavement outside. Either way, you knew he'd be safe.
Your eyelids become heavier as you're fighting to stay awake. If you fall asleep, Mina would drop on the floor. As funny as it would be to witness, you didn't want to hurt her when she's this tired.
Your vision turned to Kirishima, who seemed to have the same problem as you.
"Kirishima are you still awake?" You half-whispered to the tired boy next to you. He opens his eyes and yawns in response.
"I don't think I'll last too long." He commented.
"Do you think we should just crash in someone's dorm? I don't think I can settle Mina down and make it to my room." You asked, secretly wanting to have a sleepover.
"I don't mind, what about you Bakubro?" Kirishima almost muttered.
"I don't care."
The elevator door opened. You looked from the left side of the floor to the right, deciding which room to crash in.
"I can't reach my keys." You said, struggling to reach the back pocket with Mina in your arms.
"Bakugo, can you grab mine? It's in the left front pocket of my pants." Kirishima asked.
"No way am I doing that broomhead." Bakugo replied, probably at how close it was to his nether regions.
"It's either that or you get mine from my ass. Suck it up and get it, Bakugo." You complained. He sent a glare your way and put his hand into Kirishima's pocket.
Kirishima let out a yawn, unbothered by the action. Bakugo unlocked Kirishima's dorm room and held it open for you and Kirishima.
"Wasn't that hard, now was it?" You said to Bakugo as you crab-walked through Kirishima's door. Bakugo wanted to smack you in the head then, but he was too tired to even do so. He closed the door behind you. You saw Kirishima place Kaminari on his bed.
"We should get some sleeping bags, shouldn't we?" Kirishima asked.
"I'll get them Kiri, you go to sleep." You replied, setting Mina down next to Kaminari.
Since all of you have slept together, you figured it would be okay that Mina and Kaminari are on the bed. They've slept on the same bed before in Mina's room, while the rest slept on the floor.
It sort of became a routine.
"Are you sure?" He asked you, getting his sleeping bag out.
"Yeah, I'll get mine and a spare for this idiot." You said, pointing to Bakugo.
"Hey I am not!- an idiot." He said. The last part was quieter as he remembered Mina and Kaminari were sleeping.
"Shut up and follow me already." You replied, opening Kirishima's door.
You and Bakugo made your way across the floor to your room.
'Should I get Mina's pillows for her? It didn't look like Kirishima had enough for himself.'
"Bakugo?"
"What."
"Could you go into my room and get the black and purple sleeping bags under my bed? Maybe get some pillows as well? I'm going to get Mina's stuff from her room."
"How the hell are you going to do that? You don't have a key."
"Do you seriously think I didn't take Mina's key for this?" You held up Mina's dorm room keys that you snatched from her shirt when you placed her down on Kirishima's bed. You also took out her phone and purse since it would be uncomfortable to sleep on.
Bakugo merely looked at you, slightly impressed. He didn't show it in his face though.
"Alright fine, but don't accuse me if something's missing from your room."
"I won't because you won't take anything Bakugo."
"I meant don't blame me. I won't touch anything idiot. Did you even listen?"
"Shut up, I'm tired. Hurry up would you?" You say, disappearing into Mina's room. You look around, seeing it slightly messy. Clothes were tossed around the room.
You sigh at the lack of care your friend has for her things. Walking to her bed, you hold the pillows under your arms and throw the blanket around your neck. Seeing as you stripped her bed, you walked out of her room.
You struggled to lock her door in place, when Bakugo comes over and takes it.
"Hey I didn't-" You began, while he clicked Mina's door shut. You look at him, holding your blankets, pillows and sleeping bags.
"Aw you got more than the sleeping bags, thank you." You said with a slight smile.
"Yeah, whatever. Hurry up." He said, already walking away.
"Wait up!"
----
"That's so cute." You whispered, looking at Kirishima, Kaminari and Mina all in a dog pile on top of Kirishima's bed. It was a double bed, but it looks like Kirishima was too tired to even open his sleeping bag.
You walked over next to Kirishima's bed, slowly opening the sleeping bags that Bakugo brought. He was forced to hold the blankets and pillows while you set them up. You made him look like a coat hanger.
"Okay come over. Just put them down, we'll organise it." He knelt down beside you and casually dropped everything as if he was disgusted in it.
"Should we move Mina?" You whispered to Bakugo.
"No, we'll have less room." He replied.
"Good point. Pass me that blanket."
"Which one." He deadpanned, even though you weren't looking at him.
"Mina's one."
"Which one is it?!" He whisper-shouted. You quietly laughed and pointed at the pink one. He roughly shoves it in your face, causing your head to move with it.
"Childish." You said to him.
"Just say the damn colour next time."
"Why would Mina not have a pink blanket? She's literally pink." You pointed out, setting up all the pillows you had.
"Shut your mouth." He said. The harsh tone he normally has disappeared, making him seem like a civil human.
You heard a quiet knock on Kirishima's door. You sighed, getting up from the fort you and Bakugo just created.
Opening the door, you see Sero with his own blankets and pillows. You smile immediately at the sight and open the door for him. You two didn't say anything as he was too tired to communicate. Shutting the door again, you see Sero setting up his fort in another part of the room and Bakugo laying down on yours and Mina's pillows.
"Move over." You said, sitting down with half of yourself off the blankets. He doesn't say anything and flips you off.
"Bakugo come on, I'm tired. Move."
He moved over about three inches. He smiles slightly, seeing how pissed off your face was.
"I will throw you out of this building." You whispered.
His smirk grew bigger once you said that. Rolling your eyes, you laid exactly where you wanted to be. You sprawled yourself across his torso. You two created a plus sign with your bodies. He glared down at you, while looking at him with slight smugness.
"Fine, get off." He said, shoving you off him and moving onto his side.
"That's what I thought." You said in accomplishment.
----------
"Wow, they're really knocked out." You heard someone say.
"Well we did carry you and Kaminari here."
"Bakugo carried me?!"
"No. I carried you, she carried Mina."
"Aw that's so nice of her."
"Then what was Bakugo doing?" You opened your eyes, trying to fathom that you're alive again.
"He was helping me with the fort." You muttered, still half asleep.
"Oh good morning!" Mina threw herself onto you, causing you to make a weird sound once you lost your breath.
"Morning." You replied with a lower voice than your average one.
"Was Bakugo really helping you set this up? It looks nice." Sero commented.
"Yeah, with my blankets." Mina crossed her arms and looked at your laid down form.
"Hey. I wanted you down here, but Bakugo said there wouldn't be enough room." You explained.
"There's plenty of room babe." Mina replied, gesturing to the fort.
"I'm sorry, I was too tired. Tonight you'll sleep with us okay?"
"Wait what do you mean 'tonight?'" Kirishima asked.
"Are we having another sleepover? Please say yes!" Mina exclaimed, shaking you.
"Shut the hell up!"
"And he's awake." Kaminari sweat dropped, looking at the angry boy.
"Well good morning Bakugo." You said to him, a smile on your face.
He looked at you, then looked above you at your hair. He held back a laugh, making small snorts.
"What the hell is that?!" He laughed.
"Hey! Not my fault you kept on kicking me in your sleep!"
"Not mine that you were on my side!"
"I wasn't on your side!"
"Hey chill out would you? We need to get some breakfast anyway." Kirishima said, walking towards his door. Sero and Kaminari agreed and walked with. Mina proceeded to drag you, trying to get you up.
"Okay okay, I'm up. Bakugo." You called him, as he stood up.
"Might want to brush that." Bakugo ruffled your hair as he walked out behind Mina. You stuck your tongue out at him, even though he already left the room.
-------
In the common room...
-------
"Pleasant morning, L/N! How did you sleep?" Iida greeted you, as you walked to your seat with brushed hair.
"Good thanks. How was yours?"
"I slept great! Breakfast will be served soon." He smiled as you returned one while walking past.
A few months after everyone moved into the dormitories, everyone had a timetable on who would cook that morning. Since there were no stoves in individual rooms, Aizawa decided it would be better for everyone to help cook each other's food.
There was another list on what would be served that day. That was decided by a vote. If someone wanted something other than the list, then they would inform the students cooking and make their own breakfast.
That was very rare though, since it was free food without effort. Everyone favourited Wednesdays because Satou was one of the chefs and he ended up putting a little side dish with the breakfast.
It was Sunday, so it was pancakes if you remember correctly. Damn, did Yaoyorozu make some good pancakes. She often brought her own food to make for us, which everyone gladly appreciated.
"Alright. Iida, Kaminari, Mineta, Aoyama." Jirou, one of the chefs, set some plates down on the first table. She sped walked to the plates that were placed on the counter.
"Tsu, Uraraka, Todoroki and Tokoyami." She said placing them down with a smile.
She kept on placing them down while your table was the last, this is why the Bakusquad tried to make it early. It was in order to get to the first table to get the food quicker. However, that sleepover lasted longer than intended.
After a few minutes, Jirou came over to your table with a grin.
"Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari and Sero." Multiple thank yous came from them.
"Sorry I can only carry four without dropping them." Jirou apologised to you and Bakugo.
"You're alright love, take your time." You said to her. She thanked you and rushed back for the last two plates.
"This is so good."
"Agreed."
"The maple syrup makes it."
"Did you want a bite? Oh you can't." Mina mocked you for having no food yet. You laughed at her.
"One day that'll come back to you Mina."
"Oh it's so delicious. The flavours are so nice together." She continued.
"Mina." You groaned, your stomach making noises.
"L/N and Bakugo."
"Thank you Jirou, have you had yours yet?" You asked her before she left.
"Oh we have our after we serve everyone. Yaomomo is making them now." She replied.
"Oh okay, just making sure." You waved her as she left for the kitchen again.
Everyone was quiet, eating quickly by how good it was. Before you could get a bite, a fork comes into your vision and steals your pancake.
"Mina! Give it back!" You said, giving her a stern look. She held the pancake in her fork, her mouth opening slightly as the pancake slowly goes into near her mouth.
"Mina...no." You pointed at her, talking to her like a dog with something in its mouth. You two hold eye contact, she smiles as she bites into it. Your face falls.
"That is a crime, Mina. Do you know what happens when you commit crimes?" You asked. She grins even more and aims for another one of your pancakes.
"Mina!" You yelled while laughing. Attention was drawn towards you two fighting over a pancake. Unfortunately, she successfully takes another pancake. You shrink in your seat, glaring right through her.
You notice another fork appears in your vision. Ready to throw hands, you whip yourself to see Bakugo placing one of his pancakes on your plate. It was untouched by him, no bite marks.
Everyone at your table and the neighbouring table noticed this. Multiple 'oos' escaped from the tables.
"Shut your damned mouths! I'll kill you all!" He shouted in protest. You smiled widely at him, thankful for his gesture. Mina's mouth was wide open, shocked by this. She gave you a look, but you were smiling as Bakugo returned to devouring his remaining pancakes.
"I appreciate you." You say, almost crying.
"Shut up."
"Okay." You replied, smiling.
----------
Fast forward to afternoon...
----------
"No that has to be cheating!" Sero yelled in protest to losing Mario Kart. This was the second time he was thrown off the track in this game.
"It's not cheating, you're just bad!" Minas character raced around the corner, a slight drift from the amount of skill she has.
The rest of the Bakusquad were on Mina's bed this time. She had recently bought a television and Xbox that everyone could play on. Aizawa was hesitant at first, but it was her property, so he couldn't say no to something that wasn't a rule in the first place.
Everyone was sprawled on her bed and floor, a new pillow fort on the floor from Kirishima's room. Snacks were all over her bed, but as usual everyone would clean afterwards.
"Yes!!!" Mina screamed. The ending sound erupted from the television. She began to dance and rub it in Seros face that she won...again. There was no denying that she was the queen of Mario Kart.
"What do you think we should do now? It's getting a bit late." Kirishima asked, while Mina and Sero were talking smack in the background about the game.
A smile merged onto your face and Bakugo noticed. He frowned, not knowing what would come of this. Soon after, Kaminari noticed as well and his eyes widened, kind of scared of what would come out of your mouth.
"We should do each other's skin care!" You exclaimed with a bit of a squeal. Mina heard this and backed you up immediately. However, the boys groaned, uninterested by your remark. Kirishima however, thought it was a great idea.
"I think it'll be great, L/N! But I don't think I have anything to actually use..."
"You leave that to me."
-------
"What the hell is this?!" Bakugo yelled in a slightly muffled voice. He had a charcoal mask on his face. You were applying it of course, but he was so shocked that his face started to freeze up by the contact.
"It's a charcoal face mask Bakugo! It's to help with-"
"I don't care what it's for! Why is it so sticky?!"
"Because it's -"
"Why is my face becoming tighter?" You heard Kaminari yell from where Jirou was.
Since most of the boys didn't have any decent supplies (or any for that matter), the girls had to step in. Uraraka, Mina, Yaoyorozu and yourself were applying them to their assigned person.
Mina got Kirishima, as they were near each other and have known each other the longest.
Kaminari got Jirou, because Kaminari wanted her to do his. Jirou didn't want to at first, but he persuaded her somehow.
Sero got Yaoyorozu, since Sero partially wanted to use the expensive products that Yaomomo had. It was quite an experience watching how much he wanted it.
Of course, you got the hot headed one. You two were pretty close, not as close as he and Kirishima were. However, you two have become friends, maybe even close ones. You two would hang out if you were bored and you two wouldn't admit out loud, but you have done his skin care prior to today.
This was a week ago. You got bored in your dorm room, barged into Bakugos, complained that you're bored and eventually you did his skincare. However, it was a lot more peaceful when you two were alone.
"What is that?! A jellyfish?!" Kaminari shouted, getting ready to run.
"No it's an eye mask! Sit down!" Jirou exclaimed, trying to put it on his face.
You laughed at the two of them, other people in the room doing the same.
Bakugo merely watched you spread the face mask on him. It freaked you out, as you were trying to concentrate, but you tried your best to make it perfect. You reminded him to stay as still as he could so you didn't take his eyebrow off.
Needless to say, he likes his eyebrows.
"Okay so this stays on for thirty minutes, it will harden and feel like you're suffocating, but the end result is worth it."
"It feels like that already." He commented.
"Good that means it's working." You smile and grab some other skincare you have, you may as well do yours at the same time.
"Let me do it."
...
"Excuse me?"
"Let me do your skin care."
"...Do you even know what to do?"
"I've watched you long enough. I think I've got it." He reassured. He told you to turn around so he could put your hair up. Once done you faced him. Grabbing another headband you had, he gently placed it over your head and placed it so that your baby hairs wouldn't get caught.
"Are you sure you don't need help?"
"Shut up. I can do it."
You smile at him as he opens the sheet mask from your skin care kit. He held it the wrong was the first time and you laughed at him. He was about to kill you as he turned it the right way.
By this moment, everyone in the room was looking at you two, in the centre of the room. You felt eyes on you, but you didn't pay any mind to it as you closed your eyes. You feel a mask fall onto your face gently. His fingers tracing the mask to make sure it's on properly.
He traced around your nose, your eyes and on your cheeks. He got rid of any air bubbles as best he could and made sure it was away from your eyebrows.
Which he assumed you liked.
"You're good at this." You comment, impressed by how gentle he was.
"Stop talking you'll ruin it."
"I'm sorry." You laugh a little at him.
"Shut up."
You started giggling while trying to stay still.
"Stop moving you damn idiot! I'll ruin it because you're shaking!"
You burst out laughing as he groaned out of annoyance. Mina, on the other side of the room smiled at you two. She had noticed how close you two have become since the start of the year. It was like you two were the closest in the class.
"They like each other don't they?"

A Bakugo x F!reader.
Readers pronouns: They/Them
TW: Mentions of sh scars.
This is not a romantic-focused oneshot. It's mainly how you and your peers react to your scars. I hope I can provide some survivors with some comfort and let you know that you shouldn't be considered as abnormal for having scars. Please do not read if you get triggered by mentions of self harm.
------------------------------------
It would be a while before your peers would discover them. You had been hiding for quite some time, and the people around you slowly adapted to your warm exterior clothing. There was normally the switch between long sweaters, jumpers and any plain long shirt you could find.
Mina, one of your closest friends, did ask once for your reasoning. Due to your quirk, you could back up your statements by saying it was useful in the field of battle. She held her chin for a moment of ponder, but she merely smiled at you, changing the subject to something less personal. This was the first of a few conversations regarding your long sleeve shirts.
You figured the questions would ease up a little if you began to show skin in other areas that were not harmed. Your legs were one of the few survivors, the only place that would be noticeable is your thighs. The shorts would cover those though.
Kirishima was the second person to ask why you consistently wore such clothing. You gave your average response, that it was useful for your quirk and it was your preferred choice. He seemed rather skeptical about your answer, his eyebrows a little lower than usual. However, he eventually rubbed it off as well.
These conversations left you a bit eerie, wondering how your peers would react if they eventually found out about your past. It had always been a difficult topic for you, especially since some people you previously told did not have nice reactions. You sort of shut yourself off to the world, keeping your emotions on the down-low. The group of people you are surrounded by now are the friendliest you've stumbled upon. A part of you suspects some might even comfort you if you told them. Your thoughts would always counteract your positivity, making you reflect on those past people.
Your current solution was to not say a word, you have silenced yourself. It was a rather unhealthy habit, but your mind was comforted by the fact you didn't have to re-experience a traumatic event. There was the occasional mini-heart attack when your sleeves would roll up too high washing your hands or doing simple tasks like bringing in textbooks.
Those moments always happened around people.
There was this one day where you slipped up. You were accompanied by Kaminari, carrying some equipment Aizawa sent to the dorm-rooms. Neither of you knew what it was, your task was to bring the boxes in with care and set them down. Kaminari almost let his curiousity get the better of him, but you stepped on his toes, disciplining him immediately.
You shifted the boxes into one hand as you opened the door, then quickly resorted back to holding what seemed to be bricks in a box. Kaminari somehow managed to fall into you, knocking the both of you over. The boxes ended up on top of you, however you still managed to hold onto your own boxes.
"Holy shit, I'm so sorry y/n." Kaminari splattered out, removing the boxes immediately. During the fall, you held your boxes closer to your chest to save them. A firm grip on either side. As you fell, you felt your sleeve slip up half way up your arm. This was the least of your worries at the time, but reflecting back on it gives you a form of anxiety. All of the 'what-ifs' flung around in your mind, most of the scenarios came out negative. You were lucky to have time to pull down your sleeve when you picked up the boxes again.
That happened around a week ago, no other suspicions were made within your classroom. You gave a valid excuse and they all believed it, some were skeptical of course.
Bakugo is one of the only people who hasn't asked about it, you two barely talked at all so it made sense. He is in the same friend group as you are, the self-proclaimed bakusquad. You never understood why his name was the core of the group, seeing as he almost never spoke. If anything, you would've thought it could be named after Kirishima or Mina.
Both of them were supportive, friendly and funny. Other qualities behind them as well. Mina knew how to make you laugh and Kirishima knew your body language and could interpret your feelings. Those two understood you the most of the class.
If Kirishima saw you a little hunched on your desk in Hero Literature, he proceeded to ask if you were alright or if he could help you in any way. You declined most of the time, as the reason for your emotions were pretty minor. You would often explain you missed your pet, which you did most of the time, but it seemed to be easier to say. The mess in your head couldn't be explained thoroughly.
Mina is the type to recognise voice patterns, if you weren't in a good mood your speaking pace would slow down and your voice would go lower. Almost every time she was successful in bringing you to a better mood. She is one of the reasons you stay sober. As hard as it is, seeing her smile is all you wanted. You didn't want to self-harm anymore, you wanted to grow as a person.
The bakusquad walked into the cafeteria, sitting down in the usual spot. The topic for today was the beach. You always loved listening to the water splash along the pointed rocks, you liked hearing the seagulls in the background and you loved to swim as well. Your friends were making detailed plans when it comes to the holidays, going to the beach and cinemas were the main topics floating around.
"I'm not available on Sundays, that's the day I have with my mum." Kirishima explained, plopping some steak in his mouth.
"That's really nice that you have a day for your mum, Kiri. Uhm..what about Saturday?" Mina asked.
The group fell silent, everyone thinking if they were free. Bakugo blankly looked at his food, you thought he was probably making an excuse not to go. You wanted the same thing, but the idea of going to the beach did sound pretty fun to you.
"I think that'll work actually. What about you guys?" Kirishima said.
A complication of agreement went around the table, the group was getting excited about the trip. This was the best time of year, the winter holidays. It wasn't long because it was U.A High, but it gave the students a two week break. You looked over to the other groups of students in your class, they looked like they were making plans as well.
You thought it was pretty cute, seeing everyone excited to hang out with each other.
"Y/N, Bakugo, you two haven't said anything. Did you want to come with us?" Sero leaned across the table to speak to you two. You frowned, only now realising something you should have minutes ago.
"I don't exactly...have a swimsuit." You lied, thinking about the cute one piece you had. You would have loved to wear it, if they knew about your scars.
"You're joking right?" Mina asked, shocked you even said that.
"No...I never went swimming for the past couple of years actually."
"Well lets go shopping then! I'll find the cutest swimwear for you! Oh- We could even be matching if you wanted!" Mina grabbed your shoulders, shaking you with a smile on her face. You laughed at her enthusiasm.
"Are you coming with us, Bakubro?" Kirishima asked, pausing Mina's torture on you.
"Yeah! You should come with us." Mina exclaimed.
"No, I'm not doing shit with you losers." Bakugo mumbled, eating some of his food.
"If we're losers then why do you sit with us?" You inquired.
"They have a point dude, it'll be fun." Sero explained.
"Bakugo can you not swim or something? Are you scared we'll find out that's your weakness?" You said jokingly.
"I can swim better than all of you!"
"Oh? Then show us!" You smiled.
"Fine!"
"Alright that sounds like a plan! We'll go shopping for Y/N, then take the bus to the beach." Kirishima stated, a grin on his face. He was happier than the rest of the group that Bakugo was tagging along. It's not the easiest task to get him and his ego out of the dormitories.
As soon as the bell rang, all of you walked back to your next class. You were slowly beginning to panic. How come you didn't think of this sooner?
You should have realised what would happen. Taking a deep breath in, you calmed down a little. It wasn't too late to make an excuse right?
"Hey Mina..." You started.
"Yeah?"
"About the swimwear..." You looked at your friend, a she had a smile on her face. She matched your pace, looking up at you eagerly.
You shut down because of this. You couldn't say that to her, her face is purer than a puppies. Saying you didn't want to go would crush her.
"What pattern is yours? I can go and get one before so we don't waste time on the day." You smiled.
"Oh! I have multiple actually. I have a forest-like one, a blue one, a black one..." She laughed.
"Can we match on the black one?" You asked.
"Yes! Can I go shopping with you so we have the same one?" Mina asked excitedly.
"Wait I thought we were shopping on Saturday?" Kaminari joined the conversation.
"Y/N wants to go earlier so they don't waste time on the day!"
"Did you guys want to go after school? We don't have anything on I don't think. Plus I need new clothes." Sero added.
Everyone else jumbled in that they needed some shirts or needed to go shopping in general. Your heart sank, knowing all of them would see now.
You thought maybe you could tell Mina while you two shopped, but now it was a lot more difficult.
They were now dragging Bakugo along, since he wasn't doing anything either. Somehow Kirishima said he needed new swimming shorts. You always wondered how he could make his way into Bakugos room and snoop through his wardrobe.
"Alright! We'll go back to the dorms, get changed and go shopping!" Mina sung happily. A hop now present in her step.
You have got to be kidding.
------------------------------------
The amount of dread you felt during last period was appalling. You slouched on your chair, head on desk, trying to think of solutions. Nothing was working. You could just break you leg as an excuse.
Kirishima sat next to you in this class, he eyed you, wondering why you weren't as excited as everyone else was. Mina was chatting with the rest of the girls, Kaminari and Sero were talking with Bakugo and you and Kirishima were at the back.
"Y/N are you alright?" He asked, leaning on the desk the same as you.
You let out an aggressive sigh, slumping even more. This was the one thing you hated, telling people how you felt. Kirishima, the poor thing, had no idea how fast your heart was pounding from just thinking.
"Does it look like I'm okay?" You replied, looking up at him through your arms.
"No...? What's bothering you?" Kirishima asks again.
"I'm scared to go shopping." You confess, now realise how strange that sounded.
"Why is that?" He pressed a little.
"I don't...like changing in front of people and I don't know if I even want to go to the beach anymore."
"If you're worried about Kaminari snooping, we'll all look out for you. We don't want you to be uncomfortable around us."
"I doubt Kaminari is like that towards me anymore, he stopped his shenanigans with Mineta ages ago." You say up, getting more interested inthe conversation.
"Well yeah, but I thought you might still be a bit uncomfortable around him."
"Not really, he actually apologised in the change rooms a few weeks back. I'm not concerned about him."
"Then what's the real reason?"
You stayed silent, debating against yourself.
"Is it to do with changing in front of the guys? I'll make sure they'll all leave once you try things on."
The bell rang, signalling the end of the school day. You breathed in relief, knowing you didn't have to tell him, but also panicked knowing you had to go shopping now.
------------------------------------
"Y/N! Hurry up! We're all waiting for you." Mina knocked on your door impatiently.
"In a minute!"
"Make it less than a minute!"
"Mina!" You laughed, throwing on a shirt that covered yourself.
You looked at yourself in the mirror, doing breathing exercises. An uneasy feeling in your gut started to form, not helping you in the slightest.
"Y/N!"
"Coming!" You shouted, opening your door to see Mina grinning.
"You have no patience you know that?"
She merely shrugged, grabbed you and ran to the elevator in the dorms.
"Would you let me walk?" You say to her, afraid you'll fall over.
"No! You took way too long to get dressed, so now we're rushing you!"
------------------------------------
"Mina, that would suit you more than me..." You say, looking at the brightly coloured two piece in her hands.
"Try it! It's your size! You'll look cute I promise." She shoves them in your hands and shoves you into the changing cubicle.
You strip yourself, throwing your jeans carelessly on the shelf. Taking of your shirt, you see the scars on your upper and lower left arm. You pause, staring at them. You lift your hand and run over them with your fingers.
You feel your mood drop at the situation you're in. Having to go to the beach with these? You saw it as impossible. Not only would your closest friends see, but strangers would judge you. That's what you thought would happen.
"Y/N are you done yet? Can you show us?" Mina asked through the door.
You take off your bra and put on the top part of the two piece. It did look really nice on you, the colours weren't your favourite, but it worked. You try on the bottoms.
"You okay in there?" Mina asked, more concerned.
"Uh, yeah hold on." You comment, slipping on the bottoms.
This was the cutest thing you have laid eyes on, the colours complimented your skin, the size made your body look amazing and you looked really damn good. You smiled at yourself, feeling accomplished.
You hear movement outside of the door, Kirishimas voice being the most evident.
"I think we should let Mina see first, then let them decide if they want us to see them." You heard Kirishima say, smiling at his words.
"Yeah we'll do that. Y/N! The guys will wait outside the store, so you can show me if you want!" Mina said through the door.
You mentally thank Kirishima, unlocking the door. You pause.
"Hey..Mina?" You call out.
"Yeah?"
"Please don't freak out."
"Why...would I freak out? How good do you look Y/N?!"
"No, Mina, there's something you need to know." You start, debating if you should keep going.
"Did you want me to come in?" She asked.
"Uhm, yeah actually."
You open the door, a short pink haired girl walks in, she looks up at you. You currently had your arms over one another, successfully hiding them.
"Damn you look good as hell! I don't even think we could share anymore! You have to wear this." She exclaimed with a massive smile.
You smile gratefully, her enthusiasm lighting you up a little.
"Wait, what is it you wanted to tell me? Sorry, I got captivated by your beauty." She giggled a little.
"Hey, where'd they go? Mina? Y/N?" Sero called out. Chatter comes from outside of the door.
"We're in here!" Mina called back.
"Oh-maybe we should leave them..." Kaminari says, implying something.
"Kaminari! We're not gay!" You say out loud. You hear laughter outside.
"Even if you are, hurry up! We need to get back soon. We all got some of our stuff." Kaminari complained.
"Ignore them, what's wrong?" Mina asked you.
You look down, shame filling your insides.
"Y/N...?"
You argue against holding back, so you let go of yourself and let your arms falls by your side. You look everywhere but at her, you didn't want to see her reaction.
"Y/N, why didn't you tell me?" Mina asked, hugging you. You stumbled back from the force.
You didn't reply to her, you just stood there, not hugging her back. You felt that emotion come up from the depths of your heart, and a few years escape to help you cope.
"I'm so sorry you had to go through that, you should've told me you're struggling." Mina adds, her voice lower and sincere.
"I didn't know how to bring it up..." You say, hugging her back.
You two stayed silent for a few minutes, reassuring words came from Mina while you two talked about it the the cubicle. The boys outside didn't understand the concept of the situation, but they heard you crying. Kirishima reflected on his conversation with you in the classroom, he didn't realise it was this major. He frowns, unsure of what to do. Kaminari, Sero and Bakugo sat on the bench, while Kirishima was leaning on the door.
He knew eavesdropping wasn't a good thing to do, but he wanted to help you the best he could. To do that, he had to know what was happening.
"They won't get mad at all, Y/N. You don't have to worry about them." Mina faintly whispers, only for Kirishima to hear.
"Mina, you know they won't take it well. Kirishima might be, but the rest- and Bakugo? It won't work." He heard you say. Your voice sounded different to him. He never heard you have a worried voice, you always had a calm and collected one. The one he was listening to, made him feel the way you were.
Bakugo looked at Kirishima. His eyes were focused on the ground, his leg hoisted on the wall as he faced the rest of the guys. Bakugo saw his bottom lip quiver and walked next to him. He ended up eavesdropping as well.
"Y/N, we're your friends. We'll all be here for you and listen to you. All you need to do is tell us and we'll help." Mina says. Bakugo frowns and turns his head at the sound of you crying. He could tell you were trying to hide it as best you could.
"I don't know what will happen. What if they don't look at me the same?"
"Y/N don't worry about what they'll think. If anything, we will help you. We want you to feel comfortable around us. You remember those times where Kirishima would hang around you at random times?"
"Yeah?"
"It's because he noticed something was different with you those days, and you know how Kaminari made you that Spotify playlist?"
You stayed silent.
"He remembered every song you smiled at this past year. Every time you walked into the store and heard your favourite bang or favourite singer, he would always ask someone what it was." Mina explained.
Mina noticed you were still silent, but none the less continued.
"Sero knew you wanted to play the guitar for a while, so he asked Jirou to help him in order to teach you. You remember last week when you were watching that movie in your room?"
"Which one?" You smiled a little through your tears.
"The one that you thought was childish and lame." She laughed a little.
"I watched those movies when I had free time and let me tell you-the main character did not deserve anything bad that happened to him. I cried so hard when his father died." Mina laughed a little, your eyes lit up, knowing she was talking about one of your favourite shows.
"Oh and Bakugo? He talks really highly of you." Mina paused.
"He does?" You asked.
"Yeah! Remember that match you had with Todoroki around last month? Everyone thought you would lose, but he shut everyone up and said that you were faster on your feet. He yelled at them, saying not to underestimate you. He believed in you when no-one else did." Mina told you with a smile on her face.
"Oh that's really-" She hushed you with her finger.
"Y/N I'm not finished. He saw Mineta on our floor in the dormitories, and he was walking towards you room. You really need to lock your doors by the way- anyway, he grabbed Mineta by his collar. He dragged him down the elevator, into the common room and gave him to Aizawa." Mina says.
You open your mouth to say something, but she stops you again.
"Still not finished. He heard Monoma talking down on our class and Bakugo started listing all of the ways we were better than them. He used you as one of the examples. He said you were smart, prepared, stronger than anyone in 1-B and could take all of them at once." Mina explained.
"Mina that last one is probably a lie." You frowned at her.
"No the hell it's not." You heard a voice outside the change room. Kirishima looked up at Bakugo, concerned that he just caught everyone eavesdropping.
"I don't know why you think of yourself the way you do, but you're one of the strongest here. When you were at your internship with-whatever the fuck his name is-," Bakugo started.
"You mean Kamui Woods." Kaminari corrected. You laughed a little.
"Shut up Dunce Face! Anyway, I saw you stand up for those people against that villain. It was obvious you wouldn't win that one, but you still stayed. A lot of people called you a damned idiot for trying-" Bakugo paused, finding the words.
"Honestly, Y/N, I thought that made you better than the rest of those extras."
Mina had witnessed the widest smile you have ever made in your life, your cheeks turned a brighter shade and your eyes seemed to light up. Your posture straightened. What caught Mina most by surprise, is that you stood up and unlocked the door.
You poke you head out with a grateful smile on your face, completely forgetting about what you're wearing, or what was on you. Bakugo didn't look at you, he looked the opposite way actually. Kirishima, Kaminari and Sero noticed your scars, but Mina glared at them. Making a hand signal not to.
"I've never heard you say such things before. Might've taken you a lot of courage huh?" You said jokingly. He whipped his head around, taking it the wrong way.
His face turned from anger to a confused one. You were smiling at him, which caught him off guard. Your hands were interlocked in front of you, your swimsuit making you shine brighter. He was gob-smacked.
He noticed your scars as well, a quick glance at them. He couldn't stop the frown that made its way to his face. You paused, your smile falling. Until you realised what he was looking at.
You quickly covered up, shame filling you up again. Bakugo looked back up at your distressed face and realise what happened. He walks up to you.
You step back, unsure of what his expression means. It looked hurt, curious and angry at the same time. You didn't know what else to do.
He grabbed you and pulled you into him, his arms snaking around you and his head buried in your shoulder.
"It's okay. I won't hurt you."
Your shocked expression remained, confused by his sudden warmth. You realised he was hugging you and returned it, equally as graceful as his. You two remained there for a moment until he finally spoke.
"You could have said something."
You relaxed your muscles, knowing your friends finally know.
"I didn't know if I should have..." You confessed to him.
"Whether you like it or not-" He let go of you, held you on both shoulders and looked you in the eye.
"We're equal. You're one of us. Everyone has a damn weakness, but that doesn't mean you're weak."
"You're our friend, Y/N, you can talk to us about these things." Kirishima adds from the background.
You remained silent, a smile forming on your face. Bakugos eyes widened as you began crying again.
"Hey, you alright?" He leaned closer as if it would help him see better.
You started laughing. He grew extremely concerned.
"Are they laughing or crying?" Kaminari asked to Sero.
You look up at Bakugo, whose face was painted with worry. You merely smiled at him.
"Thank you, Bakugo." You said sincerely. Bakugos normal face emerged and he scoffed.
"Yeah whatever, it was nothing."
Mina comes up and tackles you in a hug aggressively.
"Told you it would work out." She smiled up at you.
------------------------------------
You ended up buying that two piece. Turns out everyone in the group loved it on you, as they told you in their off ways.
"Bakubro! You'll get sunburnt!" Kirishima scolds him as Bakugo runs away from him. You and Mina were eating sandwiches as you watched Sero and Kaminari make a sand castle. It had a cool design as well, arches and windows were created. Watching them share one braincell was captivating.
"Fuck off shitty hair!" Bakugo yells and trips over the sand castle, ruining it completely. Kaminaris expression caused you and Mina to wheeze of laughter. Kaminari stood up, making his way to a fallen Bakugo. You sighed and stood up from the towel you were sitting on.
"Alright idiots, Kaminari build your castle in a better spot where it won't get run over and Bakugo-put on some damn sunscreen. You're turning into a lobster." You said with your hands on your hips.
"Bakugo." You repeated.
He stood up and sprinted the opposite direction.
"Hey-! What?! You can't do that! Get back here!" You shouted, chasing after him. Mina threw you a sunscreen bottle as you chased him.
"Kirishima! A little help?!" You shouted, he started running after him as well. Soon enough Kaminari and Sero joined in the chase of Bakugo. Bakugo dodged and jumped over his peers, which were faceplanted in the sand.
"Kaminari! You okay?" You laughed at his sprawled out position in the sand. Sero fell soon after, only just latching onto Bakugos legs.
"I got sand in my mouth!" Kaminari yelled in the distance, causing you and Kirishima to laugh.
"Kiri! Keep chasing him! I'll cut him off!" You shouted and took off to the beachline. Kirishima chased him towards you, while you cut him off. You ran besides Bakugo, latched onto him and flung yourself and him into the water.
Bakugo grabbed your arm in the water, dragging you down. What he didn't know is that you couldn't swim. You should have thought of that before you flung into the water.
Your hand was stretched near the surface as you struggled for air. Kicking your legs and arms violently. The gap between the surface water and the bottom of the ocean became longer.
Loud muffled explosions were heard in the water, you see a blurred figure moved quickly towards you. A person grabbed onto your waist tightly and hoisted you above the water with an explosion.
You coughed violently as Bakugo laid you on the beach, you threw up water as he held your hair back.
"You idiot! Why the hell would you do that if you couldn't swim! You could've died!" Bakugo shouted.
"Well I didn't now, did I?" You say breathlessly, still trying to breathe.
"Don't you ever do that again!" He shouted. Footsteps neared and you saw Mina, Kaminari, Kirishima and Sero surround you.
"Y/N! That wasn't smart at all!" Mina said, holding you upright.
"Eh that was one good shove though." You laughed, looking at Bakugo. He smirked a little back at you.
"Yeah, it wasn't so bad." He commented. A frown formed on his face again.
"Seriously, don't do something stupid like that again!" He yelled.
"Yeah, yeah...gotcha." You said. Bakugo and Kirishima helped you stand upright.
------------------------------------
"That was a fun day, we should do that again sometime." You said as you all walk back to the bus-stop.
"Besides you almost dying, yeah it was!" Mina exclaimed.
"Hey there's ice-cream over there." Sero points out and starts running towards it.
"Sero-! What'd we say about-" You pause, feeling a rush of air run past you. Kaminari sprints after Sero.
"Hey! Wait up!" Kirishima chased after as well. Mina apologised to you, but ran after them as well.
"They're idiots." Bakugo stated.
"Yeah, but they're our idiots." You replied, looking slightly up at him.
"Bakugo?" You ask.
"Yeah?" He looks down slightly at you.
"You said you would put on some sunscreen."
"I don't have to listen to you." He stated, walking ahead of you. His skin was turning a light shade of red, which annoyed you.
"Okay, know-it-all, your skin will peel tomorrow if you don't. That is really painful for the record."
He simply looked back at you.
"Notice the front of my bodies fine?" He asked, walking backwards.
"Yeah?" You frown confused.
"Idiot, I can't put sunscreen on my back even if I wanted to."
"Oh...did you want me to do it for you?" You ask, he stopped walking and you stopped in front of him.
"Well...?" You pressed.
"Sure, but only if I do yours too. You're more red than me." He turned around, walking near the ice-cream stand. Your eyes widen.
"Wait seriously?! Is it that bad? Why didn't you tell me!" You shouted, frantically trying to look at your back.
"Sit down here." He pointed at the steps, you obliged as he sat a step behind you.
"Sunscreen." He said, holding his hand in front of you.
"Oh, right. That would help actually." You give him the sunscreen and he puts some on his hand.
"Does Y/N realise I did their sunscreen like 5 minutes ago?" Mina asked as Kirishima grabbed his ice-cream cone.
"Of course they do." Sero said as he stands next to Kaminari.
Kirishima and Mina look at Sero, confused.
"Look at their face." Sero pointed to you.
There you were, having a slight, but noticeable blush on your face. You were smiling like a damn idiot. Bakugo had the same expression, saving the smile.
"Wait a minute-" Mina started.
"Do you think they-" Kaminari said as he looked over.
"They like each other, I thought you all caught on." Sero looked shocked by his friends stupidity.
"How did I not realise." Mina facepalms herself.
"Yeah, I thought you would know first, Mina." Sero looks down on her.
You felt his hands trace over your back, sunscreen being rubbed in thoroughly. His hands were rough, but so gentle at the same time.
"Are you done yet? I have to do yours." You complain.
"You have no patience." Bakugo said.
After about two minutes of feeling his fingers...on your back. He told you he was finished and that you two could switch.
"Sunscreen." You say, mimicking him from earlier. He gave you the tube and you put some on your hand. You began to get a bit shy, but proceeded anyway. You rubbed the sunscreen in thoroughly, spreading it all over his back. You focused in his shoulders, as they were the most effected.
"Well...what's happening here?" Kirishima asked as he walked beside the rest of the group.
"Sunscreen. His back is too red." You held up the bottle to show him. Something urged you to look up at Mina, so you did.
She gave you the most obvious suggestive look and looked at him. You frowned, not quite understanding what she was trying to do.
That was until she wiggled her eyebrows at you, and your face heated up as if you were hanging upside down. You paused what you were doing and covered your face. Everyone started laughing besides you and Bakugo.
"Damn idiots." Bakugo mumbled and walked to the ice-cream truck. By that sentence, you knew he saw what Mina did.
"Mina...seriously?" You started.
"Absolutely!" Mina smiled and sat down beside you on the steps.
"I hate it here.." You mumbled, embarrassed. You looked at Bakugo who held two ice-cream cones. He walked up to you, crouched and gave you your favourite flavoured ice-cream. You looked at him, while he was looking anywhere but you.
"Thank you Bakugo." You smiled, as you smiled he looked back and saw it. His face turned the colour of his shoulders. He sighed and sat down next to you.
"It's your favourite." Bakugo said plainly.
"Did you want some?" You asked. He looked at you and frowned.
"Try it. It's good." You pressed.
"Did you want me to...lick it or?" He frowned, even more confused.
"No I want you to drink it. Yes, you lick it." You said sarcastically.
He proceeds to take the biggest bite you've ever seen out of the ice-cream.
"Bakugo!" You shouted at him.
He started laughing, his mouth full.
"You're such an idiot! You'll never chew that!" You started laughing as well. He covered his mouth and panicked. You laughed harder.
"You're lucky you got me two scoops, otherwise I would've ripped it out of you." You said to him and licked your ice-cream peacefully. He gave you the middle finger as he aggressively tried to chew it.
Once he was finished he looked at you, annoyed.
"I didn't do it." You laughed at his face. He smiled as you laughed.
------------------------------------
"Goodmorning Midoriya." You say, smiling at him.
"Goodmorning Y/N!" Midoriya sat behind you as Aizawa thought it would be better that you separated Bakugo and Midoriya.
"Morning." You look up to see Bakugo coming towards you.
"Morning-" You paused as he kissed you roughly.
The entire class fell silent, everyone looking at you two. The entire bakusquad had knowing looks. You and Bakugo only shared your relationship with your friends and had agreed to keep it a secret.
Your boyfriend seemed to have other ideas. He stopped kissing you, smirked and sat in front of you. Your face became heated as everyone stared at you two. The class erupted, confusion and yelling coming from them. Poor Midoriya almost fainted from it.
"Bakugo." You started.
"Yes, love?" He replied, turning in his seat. He stopped his cocky look as he saw your face.
"Once we are out of this class, I hope you know where you want your grave." You said with a sinister smile.
