I’m know I’m not the first person to say this, but any newbies on tumblr really need to understand how different this is from a lot of other social media. Particularly tiktok.

I just saw a creator on tiktok reminding followers that it’s actually a problem when someone goes back to the earliest post and watches all the posts chronologically, liking and commenting along the way. The stupid app recognizes it as spam or something and then kinda puts a halt on their account? Literally punishing people for positive engagement?? 🥴🤦‍♀️

I’ve already heard people saying years back how they don’t want to be “creepy” and go through a persons blog, liking and reblogging tons of stuff. But think how many more people are going to be worried about it now, thinking they might do actual damage! Most people, especially younger people, are so used to the way tiktok works now. So please, do not ever worry about this on here. Just remember-

You will never do any harm if you go on a like and reblog fest through someone’s tumblr blog! The only risk you’re taking is to make the blog owner weep for joy!! 😭🤣

someone should do an unfiction multimedia project about a game that was never released. you've got different beta versions of it and a bunch of emails (from development and afterwards) and docs. you start with only one beta unlocked, but playing it lets you figure out emails to look into, and emails can tell you how to fix the other betas and get them functional, and learn more about the game. the emails are full of references to development being terrible and one of the developers has apparently completely disappeared, but you dig deeper and deeper and the horrible secret is...

professional game development is terrible. they were being forced to crunch all the time, the requirements were changing all the time, they could barely get their game to work on their target platform, and the game never came out because... they ran out of money. you find out that the developer that completely disappeared is fine. she just quit game development forever and is now an accountant in oregon.

nobody got murdered, no one went crazy, nobody killed any kids, it was just a really terrible job that none of the people who worked on it want to remember.

Minecraft server/realm idea(s)?

I was thinking about Minecraft SMP kind of thing, with a discord server attached.

It's kind of a rp thing? I haven't decided yet lol. but here are a couple other realm ideas I have first.

There is a world where the teams all are set against each other in a PVP type situation with rules. The twist is it's a scavenger hunt/puzzle. You can't attack people in certain spots, you can't follow other teams or steal their items, etc. This is a rough idea.

Also, in a different world everyone is not in teams and is probably in creative or something idk yet. You get to all build the wackiest house ever. Everyone can use whatever materials, but it all has to fit together. Like you have to build off of the commons or something.

Okay, so the real big idea was people are split up into teams with names and a designated color. Each team has a captain who servers as a facilitator/mod (who is a corresponding mod on the discord server). Each team has let's say 4-6 people including said "captain".

For a period of time, a team is scheduled to make a puzzle or PVP for the other teams to solve/do. Your team get points for "doing" that teams' puzzle and whoever wins gets to build the next puzzle. Over the course of time, whoever has the most points gets rewards in the server? I haven't decided haha.
