Hi, sweetie. How are you? I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner; I barely saw the message because I haven't been using tumblr lately. I'm so glad to read that you liked the story, and surely there are others who have also been wondering what will happen with it.

Look, I hope I don't bother; I'm going to expand a bit about the matter at hand. Honestly, I've had a lot to think about regarding that particular story; since last year, I don't know why exactly (I've had several personal problems, besides), I've felt a strange disconnect with the fandom, the plot and star wars in general, which made me too sad as well. The worst thing about that is that it got worse as time went on, and for that reason I haven't written another chapter; I had a severe writer's block that frustrated me a lot, and I lost the thread to the plot I created when I wanted to pick up the story.

I know that at some point I will return to AO3, I don't know when, but I have in mind to finish the fanfic, because all of you who have been there since the beginning or have joined as time went by, and many times ppl have sent messages asking if everything was ok and wishing me good vibes. But, I will surely do it the moment I can organize the plot again, and feel that I am not writing forcibly, because I don't want to give you a chapter that feels heavy or uncomfortable.

Modern day parent's evening must be hectic for Alicent..ooh, imagine if Criston is a teacher ...

no because this can be both comedic and fully, and angsty too

on one hand, alicent having to stand there and listen to a list of unhinged things her kids get up to, only for her to save some face on the fact that daeron is a sweetheart to everyone (he just hasn't been caught yet, but he's just as much of a troublemaker)

aegon smokes weed, is always half asleep and skips class (though he somehow still aces math, to everyone's surprise)

the teachers generally like aemond because he's quiet and minds his business in class and studies hard, but he also has a temper so anytime someone tries to pick on him, especially about the eye, or on helaena, or even daeron and aegon, he's ready to throw hands. he doesn't fight people for no reason, but don't piss him off. helaena is always having to bandage his hand on breaks, but she's not always mad about aemond fighting.

the teachers are exasperated with helaena who insists on carrying her favorite bugs with her wherever she goes. they've said something about it when otto came by school one time, but he said "nonsense, let the girl have her interests". she definitely shares some of aemond's temper and whenever someone says something mean to her, she comes up with clever ways to get back at them.

it's daeron who saves alicent's evening because everyone think he's a sweetheart and every teacher loves him, but truthfully, he just hasn't been caught doing anything yet.

i can totally imagine alicent's face as criston the cute teacher starts listing all the offences her kids have managed to do in just three months

aemond at least looks ashamed lol (only bc that's his mama)

but on an angstier note, imagine trying your best with the kids and always hearing about how they're getting into trouble. there's two things here: the instinct to be defensive about them because they're really "not so bad" and "i'm trying my best", and "oh god i'm failing i'm fucking things up for these kids i'm a bad mother i can't handle this alone anymore"
