Imagine Zuko is working at the Jasmine Dragon and you are a regular :)
Tumblr media
I love the small town coffee shop/ cafe feel, and when you throw in a romance trope- I will smother that MF in butter and eat it for my final meal. I love my grump x sunshine tropes, if you couldn’t tell.
This one isn’t really following a proper timeline or story, cuz I’m not using Zuko and Irohs fake names and they really are just chillin in that tea shop for this story, BUT just a fluffy idea I really like. Anywho, fluffy and some steam ;) that gets steamy. (WINK WINK)
WC: ~2100 words
So let’s imagine…
Age of Admission: 18 and Wrinkled
Zuko is a server at the Jasmine Dragon tea shop owned by his Uncle Iroh. It became super popular very fast and you thought you would check it out. You walk in one morning and come to meet the owner, he introduces himself as Iroh. He is very kind and as you two talk, you find it is only himself and his nephew who work there. Iroh points out his nephew and when you turn to look where he motions, a figure disappears into the back. You thank Iroh for his kindness and say you cannot wait to come back. You would end up becoming a regular that would come in and read for a long time when the shop was quiet but leave when it got busy.
When you would come in, Zuko was always conveniently the one to help you. He would take your order, he would give you your tea and come by your table to check if you needed anything. He was nonchalantly cold to you but… not…? You would always smile and thank him and try to make small conversation, but Zuko never really engaged, he wasn’t rude and would agree with you then quickly move on. But over time, you noticed Zuko never stopped at any of the other tables to check on them, only yours.
Over time it is very apparent that Zuko has the biggest soft spot for you but tries not to show it. He constantly stares at you, but glances away before he gets caught. Iroh obviously takes notice fairly quickly and tries talking with Zuko, but it is short lived. Iroh comments “You two would complement each other quite well. Not to mention the smile she brings out of you, now that's quite the achievement.” Zuko only rolls his eyes as he walks into the back.
On another day you had been sitting for almost an hour finishing your second cup of tea, in the last few chapters of your book, Zuko was glancing at you from behind the counter as he dried a teapot. Iroh tried again, “You should talk to her.” Zuko visually tenses, “What?! No! What would I even say??” He said in a harsh whisper. “You are overthinking nephew, she always tries to spark a conversation, just let your conversation rivers flow and intertwine!” Zuko looked at him blandly, Iroh gave a soft smile, “A compliment can go a long way.” Iroh patted his shoulder and went to walk among the tables conversing with the customers.
One day you had stayed particularly later than you had thought as a rush didn’t happen and you were very into your book. Eventually Zuko walks over to you and places down a small dessert, it was some sort of pear tart. You smiled up at Zuko and thanked him for the kind gesture. “Yeah, we are closing soon and there happened to be some left that didn’t sell.” Zuko said. You shot up, not noticing the time, “Oh! I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize the time. Can I take it to go?” You say standing and gathering your things, you start apologizing for holding them up but Zuko was only half listening as he looked out the window at the dark street. He was worried about you being out so late and walking home alone. He cuts you off and insists it's fine and to wait till after they close and he would walk you home. Your heart flutters as it was something you knew you wanted but didn’t realize how badly. You smile and nod your head in thanks, but Iroh had overheard and insisted that Zuko could head out now as he could close himself.
Zuko and yourself walked along the main street, the night was dark but the street lamps lit your way. You hold your book with both hands in front of you as you talk about what happened in the many chapters you read tonight. Zuko and you walk side by side, you smile as you explain the events, Zuko listens but is watching around for anything to be cautious of. You both make it back to your apartment and you thank Zuko for the kind gesture and offer him to come in. To your dismay he declines, you were sad as he turned away and waved goodnight, knowing it was out of good chivalry. After what felt like the longest walk home of his life, Zuko returns to the tea shop. Iroh welcomes Zuko back and asks how it went, Zuko snapped “Do you stick your nose into everyone’s business, or just mine?” Iroh looked at Zuko for a moment, “She asked you to stay, didn’t she?” Zuko scrunched his nose and didn’t reply, he walked back to his room.
You had come down with a cold and didn’t return to the tea shop for a couple days. But little to your knowledge, through those couple days Zuko found himself waiting for you to walk through the front doors. He found himself looking at the door every time someone walked through but disappointment cooling his veins when it wasn’t you.
After almost a week goes by you show up again, Iroh welcomes you back warmly and insists your regular order will be out swiftly before walking into the back. You smile and take a seat, pulling out your book, not long after Zuko is at your table with your tea. Zuko makes a comment about your absence and you explain how you had gotten a cold and then tease him about missing you. Zuko starts to try and back track his comment, you can see a bit of embarrassment peek through as he tries to cover up his feelings that showed through his concern of you missing. You decide to take a leap and try to show him it's ok. “Well, I missed your company too.” you said warmly, as Zuko composed, someone walked in and up to the counter. Zuko added it was nice to have you back before heading to serve the customer.
A rush started that afternoon so you marked your place in your book, paid and left. You spent some time in the market and on your route home you passed the tea shop. You walked by slowly to see Zuko sweeping by the front door, he looked up and questioned why you were out so late. You smiled and explained about the market, told him about the shops and liveliness. While you were talking Iroh pops out from the back mid question for zuko, but pauses when he sees you. He exclaimed how nice it was to see you again with a warm smile walking to you and Zuko. You return the gesture and brief him about the market that you explained to Zuko. Iroh agreed it sounded fun and insisted You show Zuko, all closing was basically done and could finish up by himself.
You and Zuko made your way to the market and walked around, there were many food stands, flower stands, jewelry stands, fabric stands, anything you name it was probably there. As you both walked and you talked, a cool breeze started setting in so you looped your arm through Zukos and walked closer to him, commenting on his warmth. Zuko only hummed and continued on with you, even though his heart was totally a butterfly exhibit at that moment. Once the market was fully explored, Zuko offered to walk you home again as it was very late and he should get you home.
Once again you both ended up on your apartment door step. You thanked him for a great night and him walking you back, you unlocked and opened your door, offering again for Zuko to come in. Zuko starts to insist he leaves but you cut him off with a kiss. Zuko was surprised for only a split second, but kissed you back, placing his hands on your waist. You pull away and look up at him through your eyelashes, “Please, stay for a bit”. He looked at you, “Are you sure?” he asked, keeping his hold on your waist, your shirt parted slightly from your pants and the warmth of his hand hummed against your skin. You held his gaze while you grabbed his hand, taking him inside.
Once you were both in, you handed Zuko the keys, he closed the door and locked it. The second he turned around you moved in, you placed your hand on his jaw and chest. Zuko lavished in your kiss and put his hands on the small of your waist, bringing you in as close as possible. You felt the warmth of his body against yours, but craved more. You grab the bottom of his shirt and pull up, Zuko releases you and grabs his shirt, yanking it off quickly, returning to your lips. But this time his hands didn’t fall on your waist, they reached to the back of your thighs, hiking you up with ease as pleasant yelp of surprise from you as you wrapped your legs around his waist. The kiss was so hot you pulled away, your head falling to the side as Zuko moved to kiss your jaw and neck. “Zuko…~ah!” He hummed in response, “Zuko, bedroom… behind us…” Zuko promptly moves to the door you mention, pushing it open with his foot, stepping in and swiftly closing it with a firm but gentle kick.
Zuko set you down on the bed, you eagerly took off your shirt and you laid chest bare, not having worn underclothing today. Zuko’s hands were immediately on your torso, and chest. As Zuko kissed along your neck and collar bone, you scrape your nails down his shoulders and slide your hands along his arms, feeling the lean build of his muscle. Zuko asks if this is ok, what you both were doing, you wasted no time in confirming you were more than ok with it. You grab the waist line of his pants and pull him close, he grunts and pushes himself further against you, you gasp. Zuko goes to remove your pants, you raise your hips to quicken the process. You now laid bare before Zuko, everything for him to see. You could feel the vulnerability creep in and the natural urge to cover, but you knew you were comfortable and this is what you wanted. Your hands worked his trousers and slid them off. Zuko stood proud as he hovered over you, laying between your legs. Anticipation slid around your stomach, you kissed deeply, you could feel Zuko at your entrance, you gasped. He leaned back and looked down at where you met, grinning. Pushing forward slightly, his head pushing against your kitten. “~mmh… ah!” You moan out as he pushes further in, Zuko lets out a breath as he rests on elbows over top of you. He pushes in all the way and an audible gasp leaves your mouth as you could swear he hit an organ. He pulls out and slides back in, in the most devilish way of feeling like he is hitting deeper with every thrust. Your eyes roll back as his hips move in the perfect way, feeling his skin against yours, his muscles move against your body. Zuko puts his arms under your knees and spreads your legs wide and pushes them up, giving him better access as well as deeper penetration, which is baffling to you in that second until he continues. Now nothing is going through your mind except Zuko's breath and your moans in the air. You felt a knot in your stomach form, you tapped on his shoulder and told him you were close. He groaned and kept going as you fell apart under him, almost reaching his peak as you became so sensitive you couldn't contain the moans coming from you. But before you could think, he was about to climax. Zuko cursed and pulled out, cumming on your stomach. You both are absolutely racked from the events, Zuko takes a deep breath in, kisses you and says he will be right back. He comes back with a towel, cleaning you up and laying next to you.
You lay on his chest and relax, both being out of breath, Zuko said something that shocked you. He exclaimed how he missed you the week you were home sick, and not at the tea shop. You smiled sweetly and cuddled closer to his warm body, explaining how everyday you couldn’t stop thinking about him either.

Imagine coming home late all beat up after running into trouble leaving work and Zuko is trying his best to help, but also being Zuko.
Tumblr media
WE HAVE A WINNER!
Let's pay the poll toll! Our prompt winner is "it's three in the morning." There sure was a close running for the most part but it came out on top! I might have slipped in another prompt in there ;)
This one is more fluffy/ protective BUT... there might be something some might call smutty on its way soon with the same prompt cuz I know what you babes want ;)
Anywho, so basically you have a late close at the tea shop and run into trouble on your way home but through it all you gain a new pal on the way home, when you get home Zuko is super concerned and worried about you.
~1500 word count, there is mention of blood and cuts and whatnot, but also fluffy protection, so beware, and enjoy :)
You limped down the dark street, coming up to your apartment, you couldn’t believe you made it back. Your head hurts so bad you could swear the throbbing it produced was visible. You felt a drip come from your nose and you wiped it away with your free hand. Red. You groan and wipe it on your black pants. Your ribs were so sore, you could peel over any second. You took a look at the small dog you hold in your other arm against your side. “What do you think Zuko’s gonna say when we walk in?” You humor the small animal. It looks at you with the literal definition of puppy eyes, you look ahead and give its head a small pat.
You walk up to the apartment door and open it. Inside, Zuko shoots up sitting on the couch, he had fallen asleep. He half looks over his shoulder, “Hey, I was getting worried.” he said, trying to wake himself as if he wasn't out cold, you walk towards him. He begins to fully turn around, “Did you have to stay later at the tea shop-” and as soon as his eyes find you he immediately stands up, "Holy shit-". You walked over to him and handed him the dog, “Can you hold this please.” Zuko took the dog dumbly as you walked towards the bathroom. “UM- What the hell happened?? Are you ok??” He put the dog down and his eyes followed you as you disappeared into the bathroom, you didn’t answer, you went to open the mirror to grab the first aid, but your reflection grabbed you first. Zuko appeared in the doorway, “Hello?? I need you to answer me!?” You looked at your reflection and you looked so much worse than you thought. There were scrapes all around your face and was a deep cut through the top of your right eyebrow, the blood streamed down and in your eye, blood smudged across your face and below your nose. There was a gash on your lip which left a trail of blood down your chin. You instinctively lifted your shirt off and you winced, getting caught mid way with sharp pains that halted your motions. “Please, help me.” You asked weakly and Zuko was already assisting you. Your shirt is pulled free and you take a look at your sides, along your ribs are already a dark purple and blue. You groan and begin to remove your pants, the sides of your thighs bruised as well, but not as bad, but the slashed wound in the back of your right calf was the piece on top of the cake.
“Holy shit…” Zuko repeated, “What happened?” You leaned against the counter and sighed, standing bare in your underclothing. Zuko put a gentle hand against your back, for comfort or for his fear of you passing out. You started slowly by grabbing a cloth and wetting it, you started by wiping the cuts, it hurt bad. Zuko gently took the cloth from you and offered to do it for you, you did not protest and took a seat on the nearby stool. “I was coming back home from closing the tea shop, and I walked past this alley- Ahh-!!” You were cut off by Zuko wiping the cold damp cloth across a cut, “Sorry…” he replied softly, and went to wipe some of the dried smudged blood away. You took a deep breath and continued, “I walked past this alley and I heard these two guys picking on what I thought was some kid or- something…” You grit your teeth and wince once again at the cold stinging sensation that seems to almost shut down all your senses, or what's left at this point. “I told them to knock it off and when I approached them, there were actually four of them… and they were beating on the dog… and that made me mad. What cowards they were to pick on such a small innocent thing. Something that cannot… fight back or tell anyone-'' Zuko cut you off, rinsing the cloth, his anger slipping through, “Are you serious?? You risked your life for that dog?! All of this over a dog??!” You look at him, you look deep in his eyes. “Yes,” You replied coldly, “I did.” Zuko grabbed the bridge of his nose and groaned your name in frustration, “You cannot do this kind of stuff! Spirits! You were going to get yourself killed over that damn dog!” You eyed up Zuko as he added "What on earth were you thinking going down that ally so late?!" You had no clue how to answer, "it's three in the morning." He said through his teeth, you had enough, you shot up and Zuko immediately held out his hands because the sway that moved your body seemed more concerning to him then to you, “Don’t you dare tell me what to do, I did well by my conscience and I made it home.” You sternly said, “You barely made it home.” Zuko replied in the same cool tone. While you tried to hold eye contact, you started to lose balance and lean onto his outstretched arms. “Hey, hey, sit down.” Zuko said, “Bite me.” You replied trying to push past him in this blurry state you were in and out of, but to no avail. “If you insist, but you're quite the mouthful.” Zuko quietly remarked as he led you back down to the stool, grabbing the cool cloth and placing it on your forehead. “Come on, keep your eyes open, you cannot sleep, you probably have a concussion.” He said trying to keep you awake, “Zuko,” You said in a worried tone, he looked at you to continue, “I told them to leave it alone and walk away. But they recognized me…” I felt Zuko freeze, “They recognized you?” He asked. “They taunted me, talking about the tea shop, how they constantly see me there. But I’ve never seen them… I didn’t recognize them, Zuko.” You said. Zuko thought for a moment and replied “Don’t worry about anything. You're back home safe and I’m going to take care of you.” And that is what he did, he used the cloth to remove the dried and smeared blood, then he helped you out of your underclothes as he ran you a bath to relax your bruised mussels in and to wash the rest of the dirt, cuts and scrapes. He sat on the stool next to the tub and helped you wash beyond where your sore muscles constricted your movement. Once you were cleaned, Zuko added some new warm water, he set the bucket down and pushed some damp hair behind your ear. You welcomed his touch as you laid in the tub.
"I'm sorry for being so harsh earlier," Zuko started, "I'm so sorry. I was so worried and if only I hadn't have fallen asleep-'' You stopped him there, "No, don't say that, don't go down that road." you warned him. "No, if I was awake, I would have noticed the time and gone looking for you. I would have." You look at him with stern eyes, "Don't blame yourself, this isn't on you." You said shortly. Zuko looked at you with a gaze you so often saw and said "If I could take all your pain, all your cuts and bruises, I would in a heartbeat. you are a good soul, many people would have just kept walking." You hold his eyes, taking in his words, "I don't think you would have." You told him, "I think you would have helped too." He gives you a half hearted smile. "You think too good of me." He replied softly, and after a moment he added "Ok how about we get you dried off? It didn't look like anything needed stitches so I can bandage you up, we will have Katara look at you in the morning. I think you need some time to relax." You felt a lump in your throat rise with emotion as it was a sweet thing to consider. Just you and him for the next bit cooling down and relaxing. You nodded and tried to position yourself as best you could as Zuko reached in and basically picked you up out of the tub. You sat in the towel as Zuko bandaged up your calf, and the cut on your face. He picked you up once again and sat with you on the couch, making you both some warm tea and hoping to keep you up and talking until the early morning when he could fetch Katara for more help. But until that point he would sit with you and do what he could.

Part 2 to how the group cannot fathom how you and Zuko are so close with your angel of a self and Zuko being... well, Zuko
Tumblr media
AN: OKAY! Look at me go, coming out with a part two. I think I might do a part two to some previous pieces of mine but we will see.
SO this is a part two, so you can read the first one here, it will give some context clues into this second part of the story (but can probably be read solo) : Part 1
Any who, ~2300 word count, enjoy :)
KIDDIE FREE ZONE
Good Friends
That's all you guys were. Good Friends. Zuko kept telling himself he had no reason to be so bothered by that statement, but he was. He didn't want to be just good friends, but you had given a better answer then he would have in your position. But now the Gaang has been flying for the past couple days and has given him lots of time for thinking. Especially having you for the majority of the time sitting with him leaning against his arm, grazing legs, as you were not shy to the general touch. You always seemed to start up the conversations with him, your way of speech held him in interest, but as already known, he never said much back, but always was happy to listen.
But ever since that last night of camp a few days ago he cannot let the thought go. Good Friends. He knew that the talks you two have, the moments you both cherish, and the secrets you two shared was enough of a connection to be more than just good friends, or at least in his mind it was. You two were absolutely glued to the hip, and seemed to be together, just without the title. Zuko was fine with no title, he would rather the group didn't know but for you two to have that clarity is what he was craving. He knew there were other things that were more important at the moment but it couldn't calm down in his mind. He had to know, he wanted to be together. Even if that became another secret you both shared he would gladly add it to the pile.
As the afternoon began to fall fast on the fourth day of travel, the Gaang was running low on rations and decided to hit the next market in the upcoming town. Upon arrival, Aang and Sokka grabbed Zuko to tackle their list as Katara and Toph grabbed you to get the remaining items. Zuko was hoping to buddy up with you but it would have to wait. As the group divided and conquered, Sokka was getting very nosy with Zuko about a certain someone. Zuko ignored all of his questions or what felt like more accusations. Meanwhile the girls had finished with their tasks and Toph had somehow gotten into a gambling match with the remaining money they had and won every time. You stood back leaning against a nearby wall smiling, not wanting anything to do with the situation but you weren't going to interfere either. You feel a brush against your shoulder and look up to see Zuko, you smile and greet Aang and Sokka. You ask how their huntings went and they all agreed it had gone well. Zuko looked at you and asked if Toph and Katara were seriously gambling the little money they had left. You laughed and were about to answer but before you could Toph came over with a large bag and tossed it at Zuko. He caught it effortlessly, and it jingled heavily. All of the boys eyes widened, and Toph said "We will be sleeping well tonight thanks to yours truly."
The Gaang walked around the town as the night grew darker and the many street lamps glowed near and far, Zuko's mind still buzzing with the taunting thought of good friends. Maybe he was over thinking it and there was already an unspoken agreement you two were together? Or was he being weird and obsessive? Or maybe you had a completely different view on all of it? Or maybe-
His thoughts were cut off by you linking your arm through his and pointing out the beautiful lights, from the shops, to concessions, to the fountains, to the groups of lively people. He looked down at you and for the first time, he wasn't really listening to you. He just looked at you, looked at your smile as if you knew this moment was made just for you. He would forever be in awe at how effortlessly you spoke as if you had already rehearsed it one hundred times. He feels your genuine happiness and spirit in your eyes as you look up at him and he wonders how you hold such grace through everything. All his thoughts left his mind as he looked at you and thought, yeah, that is my girl.
Once the Gaang decided to call it a night, you all looked for an Inn to stay at for the night. There was not much of an option in the small town, so you all entered the closest place and the lady at the front desk greeted you all with a warm smile. Aang went to talk with the lady and brought back a handful of keys. Everyone was confused as he handed everyone their own key and explained that they only had single rooms left for the night. Nobody really complained as everyone seemed they could use some time to themselves. Everyone shuffled into their rooms with quick goodnights, but before Zuko walked through his door, he looked over his shoulder at your direction, and there you were. Walking into your room and almost as if you felt his eyes you looked over your shoulder and stopped for a moment, you smiled at Zuko and gave a small wave of goodnight before stepping into your room and closing the door. Zuko's eyes stayed on your room for a moment longer, before a small tap on his shoulder made him spin around. It was Katara. Zuko was lost for words. Katara smiled and whispered "I won't tell, not that is isn't already so obvious, but you should really talk to her." Before Zuko could respond to her she waved goodnight and walked into her room. He stood in the hallway like a man who was shot and was too afraid to move. He looked back at your door, he felt the longing in every part of his being to just go and knock on your door and say everything he has been thinking just like you do. How you so effortlessly say exactly what you're thinking, that is what he wanted to do. He wanted to tell you what it meant to him to have someone like you become so close to someone like him. He wanted to tell you that the secrets you both shared with each other meant the world to him and he would take them to his very grave if you wished so. He wanted to tell you that every time you smiled it felt like it was for him and him only. But he didn't. He walked back into his room and shut the door.
Zuko got ready for bed and laid down for a few minutes, he tossed and turned and his chest felt so heavy. He let out a sigh as he laid on his back and placed a hand on his chest with the other one behind his head. He stared up at the ceiling. Zuko let out a small grunt of frustration when he got up, deciding to go get some water. He grabbed the bucket from the small table in the room and walked towards the door. Zuko grabbed the bridge of his nose in exasperation and pulled his hand down his face, he went and opened the door and to his complete shock, there you stood. You looked almost as surprised as he did. You both stood in silence for a moment, and for the first time, Zuko spoke first. He asked if you were alright, because the last thing he expected was for you to be standing at his door in the middle of the night. You replied softly, saying you were ok, just had a lot on your mind. You noticed Zuko holding the bucket for water and offered to go with him to fetch some, he agreed. This time you both walked in silence to retrieve the water and walked in silence back to the rooms. You both came to stand outside Zuko's room and he asked if you were sure you were ok, and you replied that you were, probably just over tired. Zuko looked at you and asked you if you wanted to come into his room. You smiled softly and insisted you didn't want to intrude. He didn't respond and just motioned you inside, you accepted and walked in, Zuko shut the door behind you.
Zuko grabbed the ladle and poured you some water while you sat on the bed, he handed you the cup. You smiled and thanked him as you grabbed the cup and took a sip. Zuko sits next to you and rests his elbows on his thighs and looks down between his knees to the floor, he's not sure how he wants to go about tonight. He has no idea where to start, no idea how to talk or truly express his thoughts. He worries about sounding like a bumbling fool compared to your angelic soft spoken way of words. But before he could think further, the bed shifted and you were now directly beside Zuko with your head leaning on his shoulder. He looked up and he knew he wanted this, he wanted to be the one to call you his. He wanted to be by your side every step of the way and watch you regain the pride of being a fire bender. He wanted to have you by his side helping him with the path of change after the comet, and he didn't want to do it as good friends, he wanted to do it together. Zuko took in a deep breath, and asked "Do you really think we are just good friends?" and without a breath missed you replied "I knew your ears were on fire that night." you sat up with that comment, Zuko smirked and chuckled, you two were very close now, mere inches from each other's faces. "But no..." you replied, "I don't think we are just good friends, do you?" Zuko looked into your eyes, they seemed to shimmer the most beautiful shade of amber even with the liminal lighting in the room. "I don't think so either." He replied. Zuko saw your eyes dart to his lips and back to his eyes but the second your gaze connected back with his, he was already pulling you into a kiss. He put his hand just under your ear, along your jaw, pulling you in gently, as if giving you an option to back out. But you didn't, you leaned in and placed your hand on his arm and you kissed deep. Zuko lavished in this moment and if there was any way he could pull you in even closer he would. You pulled away first and looked at Zuko, he looked at you with so many emotions, "We are together." he stated. You smiled so wide and nodded, for the first time you were speechless and practically tackled Zuko to the bed, kissing him so deeply while he gladly reciprocated with the same action. You were straddling Zuko as he effortlessly flipped you over on the bed so he was now on top, you placed both your hands on his jaw and leaned up to give him a small kiss and then laid back down. "Would you stay with me tonight?" Zuko asked, you smiled, "Of course I will, I thought you'd never ask." Zuko rolls his eyes and leans down for a kiss but you halt his actions by asking, "What about the others, they will see me leaving your-" Zuko cuts you off with a soft kiss and after responds "I don't care, they can make their own assumptions." You smile so happily and nod your head, "But, they are going to ask questions-" you started but again Zuko cut you off before you can overthink, "So answer them however you want to, however you feel is right." He leans down and kisses you so romantically, and moves to your cheek, and down to your jaw, and making his way to your neck, you let out the smallest gasp. You could feel tingles all throughout your body, from your fingertips to your toes. This was the moment you were both waiting for, Zuko knew this is what he wanted, he wanted you now, tomorrow, the day after that, the months that follow and the years to come. You were his as much he was yours. He gave himself to you that night as you gave yourself to him. Both vulnerable to one another, savouring each movement, each touch, every breath you both shared. The night was exactly what you both wanted, it was what you both needed.
The next morning Zuko woke up with you laying on his chest and his arms wrapped around you. Both of you spent the morning getting ready and just smiling at each other, no lingering feeling or questions of what ifs. You could both just be together.
It was time to check out and continue the journey, so you both gathered all your belongings and walked to the door. You both stopped and you looked at Zuko, "They are going to ask." you stated, and Zuko looked right back at you, "Then answer." he replied. He opened the door and the Gaang was waiting in the hall. Katara was the first to see you both exit and she tried to hide her smile with a polite hand, the others turned to look and were caught a blank. Zuko shut the door with you standing by his side. You greeted everyone and you both walked towards the group, "What are you all staring at, let's head out." Zuko said so nonchalantly, everyone stood in silence for a second longer and proceeded on like nothing happened.

Imagine the group cannot understand how you and Zuko are so close with you being a literal saint and Zuko being... well Zuko
Tumblr media
AN: I am back! Man, it's been a hot minute since my last post! ...Lets not think about that because I am back! :) woo hoo
~1400 word count
Part 2 once your done reading :)
SO, lets jump in and see what this Zuko fic about??? Well, imagine this...
The whole group is together and you are the newest member joining from an encounter at a local market. You'd travel alone from town to town, trying to help in any way you can to help fix the wounds the war had created. You fit in well, very polite and nice, never showing any anger, but very capable of defending your own with a bow. You became close with Katara, almost like sisters. Though, unknown to the group that you were a fire bender, you wished to keep that a secret. Your nation had done too much damage and could not bear to be tied to such a name. You hadn't practiced in a long time and were contempt on keeping it that way. You were good enough with your bow, you could protect yourself without the aid of bending. But one person saw through your mask, the only other fire bender in the group. You had a feeling he knew, as he was finding ways to spend more time with you, offering to walk with you to the market, to fetch water or wood, and he seemed to only ask you questions while it was just the two of you. If he did know you were a fire bender, then let it be so.
You volunteered one night to gather firewood, and Zuko promptly offered his assistance, in your nature you gladly accepted, you did like the company. While you two walked, you held a wicker basket against your hip and did most of the talking. Zuko hummed in response, keeping note of their far distance from the camp. As the conversation seemed to die out, Zuko stopped walking and you walked a couple more steps before realizing his halt. You turn around and lock eyes, both of you stand straight and still like statues. You knew what was coming next, your hair swayed slightly in the wind, the setting sun leaving amber shadows across you both.
"You're a bender, a fire bender." Zuko states, no question to his voice. You couldn't deny it, there was no point, he knew. You looked at him and smiled. You confirmed his suspicions, and explained to him that you have been building a new reputation for yourself outside of a fire bender label, trying to heal the brand the fire nation left on your skin as well as all its people and the ones it had affected. Zuko seemed sad, he apologized for his nation, our nation. He had promised things would change after Sozin's comet, once he overtook his father. You smile and agree that Zuko would make a fine Fire Lord, you talk to him about how much you believe can change. Ever since that night You two became close, very close. Close in ways the group could only suspect, but no proof.
On the last night of the Gaangs regrouping, before they had to pack up camp and keep moving, everyone had gone to bed, except for Zuko. He had a hard time trying to get to sleep that night, so he went out for a walk to try and clear his head. He sat by the nearby river and thought about what you had said, to rebuild a new reputation as to not be associated with the fire nation, start anew. Zuko balled his fists in anger at his country, the horrible things, unspeakable notions they had unleashed. Zuko scrunched his nose in disgust and felt the pull of his scar, a sensation that he was use to, one that would usually bring more frustration but only brought him sorrow tonight, as your words passed though his mind, 'trying to heal the brand the fire nation left on your skin as well as all its people and the ones it had effected'. Zuko felt the shame of his land pile on his shoulders, but he decided to head back to camp before he got too far into his head.
Back at camp, everyone was in bed, Toph slept alone in her stone tent, the boys had their own tent, while You and Katara shared a tent. Katara took a leap on that last night and decided to ask you about you and Zuko. She thought now would be the best time over any. Katara looked at you laying with your back to her, she gently poked your shoulder and you turned over.
"Sorry for waking you, but I had a question and I hope you take no offence, but you and Zuko... you guys have seemed to be getting very close... so um... are you guys... you know... together...?" Katara asked you in a quiet whisper with wide curious eyes.
While Katara spoke, Zuko had made his way back into camp and heard the faint whispers. It was unlike him to listen in on others' conversations but they had obviously not heard him return, and he seemed to be the topic of their subject so he decided it was fair game to listen. He caught on quickly as it was something about you and him.
You smiled and replied in a steady whisper, "Zuko and I have become good friends, nothing more." You and Zuko knew there was a bond beyond your secrets you shared, but you two were not together, just close.
Zuko had his arms crossed across his chest, he felt no offence towards the statement you shared, it was true, it was a neutral answer he could respect.
Katara responds "Oh okay... um if you don't mind me asking another question," You nodded her on, Katara continued, "Zuko and you seem to be very different, as in you are so... vibrant and kind, I don't think I have ever seen you mad." She said giggling quietly, and you smiled. "But Zuko... well you know Zuko, he only ever... scowls. Spirits, I think a smile might split his face in half..."
Zuko furrows his brows at the comment, and grabs across his mouth, 'I can smile', he thinks to himself, lowering his hand.
Katara continues, "and... and it's like pulling teeth trying to get him to talk..." Katara looks at you, "How do you- being your bubbly self, connect with someone like him? How can you talk with him for as long as you do when he seems to barely listens half the time?"
'Barely listen??' Zuko thought as his eyebrows shot up at the comment, 'Is she serious? How could she possibly think that!'
You smile at her observation, "Zuko is very kind to me," you say sweetly.
Zuko's face relaxes to your answer, and he uncrosses his arms.
You continue, "But you're right, he never says much, and yes, he is indeed quiet, but when one has gone through so much, it is understandable. We all know that feeling to some extent and we all have our ways of dealing with it. I have accepted how Zuko conveys himself as he had accepted me for how I present myself. But over all, yes, he does listen, even if it seems he is not, he always does." You conclude with a sweet smile.
Zuko is almost taken back from your answer in a way he cannot explain, but it feels as if an unknown weight has lifted off his shoulders from your response. He decided to leave the conversation there as he had heard all he needed to, and turned to walk away. But the next thing you said had caught his attention.
"Who knows," You add, "his ears are probably burning right now with the mere conversation of us talking about him...". You both giggle and say your goodnights. Zuko smirked and rolled his eyes and walked back to his tent. Although, as he replays the conversation over in his mind, something sits like a small rock in his stomach. 'Zuko and I have become good friends, nothing more.' Nothing more, he thought over and over in his head, maybe with time that could change. Once Zuko becomes Fire Lord and is able to start the change that the world needed to heal, you would embrace your bending and be proud of your nation. But that would come in time, so for right now, he could work with good friends.

Imagine you’re walking around the local market with Zuko, but you’re completely happy and oblivious while he’s nonchalantly protecting you
Tumblr media
Ok ok so, an imagine w Zuko, an innocent x protective trop we love. Super fluff... ONE OF MY FAVS SO FAR!!!
This gif really represents zukos demeanour and yours through all of this LOL
Word count 1300+
Ok so imagine...
The Gaang had decided to set up camp early this afternoon, they found a good spot and started to unload all their stuff. Katara asks you to head into the nearby market to pick up some food for the next day or so, you happily accept her request and grab your stuff, ready to head into town. Zuko’s helping Sokka set up some tents and sees you getting ready. Katara walks by with a basket of dirty clothes heading to the river to do some washing. He stops her and asks where you’re heading, she tells him the plan and he stares at you for a moment, she hands him a list and says he’s more than welcome to tag along with you. and that's exactly what he did.
On the walk into the market Zuko was on high alert, while you, not so much. you paid no attention to your feet, where you were walking, staring off into the sky or trees. A few times, Zuko had placed his hand on your waist and gently guided you from holes and branches, you aimlessly followed, completely unaware and in your own world. You smiled at his seriousness and insisted you would be fine, Zuko agreed with you but kept close behind.
Upon entering the market, Zuko knew his work was cut out for today. It was packed, busier than he had ever seen. He was a bit taken back and grabbed the bridge of his nose, spirits help me. He took a glance over his shoulder at the amount of people walking in, Zuko began to tell you to stay close, but when he looked back to where you were standing, you were gone. His eyes instantly widen and let out a curse, he does a quick scan and finds you at the first shop looking at flowers and chatting with the female running it. Zuko grabs his face and lets out an exasperated breath, taking note on how easily you move. He begins to walk over to you and catches other men taking second looks at you, elbowing his buddies and smirking with remarks. Heat begins to boil in Zuko as he makes his way to stand beside you. He towers close to you, making it super clear he is with you. He puts a hand on your shoulder, motioning you to keep moving, you thank the owner as she hands you a flower for free. You move along so happily, flowing as if in a hot spring, chatting to Zuko about how sweet the lady was. Meanwhile, half listening, he follows close behind, making sure nobody disrupts your flow.
As you made your way through the market, things were going relatively better than Zuko expected. Many people offered you free stuff, you were much too kind to walk by and ignore them so you always stopped to talk. Zuko would stand and wait with you but had to usher you on eventually when they got a bit too friendly for his liking. Men still stared and as much as Zuko wanted to confront them, he didn’t want to upset you. But, for the most part, they kept their distance, and whenever a guy got a little too gutsy, Zuko would glare at them and gently guide you by the waist into a different direction, and you always followed, unaware but just happy to be out.
You and Zuko stood in line for the fish market, you smiled and chatted with many passing people and people in line. Zuko, still standing close by your side, keeping a watchful eye on everything happening around you guys. You looped your hand through Zuko's arm and talked about birds flying overhead and the many flower stands you guys passed, wishing for a garden of your own. Zuko was half listening as he noticed a group of guys standing a little ways away. You handed Zuko the flower you were holding, he took it aimlessly, and you let go of him. One guy pointed at you and they all smirked, in an obviously distasteful way. Zuko looked back at you, and it caught him off guard to see you were bent over, helping an older woman pick up some of her stuff that she dropped. Zuko instantly looked back at the group of guys making inappropriate gestures, he stepped into their line of sight, and watched their faces of amusement from looking at you, and as they met eye line with Zuko, he pointed at the flower he was holding and burnt it, ash falling over his hand. The group looked away and sauntered off. Zuko was angry, he shook his head and dusted off his hands. You were still crouched down and chatting with the older lady, Zuko offered you a hand and helped you up, the lady thanked you and walked off. Again, you looped your hand through Zuko's arm and offered to take the flower back, realizing what you were waiting for he had come up with a little white lie of a passing young girl who wanted it. You smiled and poked at him, saying he did have some soft spots, and he wasn’t as serious as he led himself to be. Zuko rolled his eyes and let her go on about whatever came to her mind.
Finally leaving the market, you skipped a head a couple of feet and smiled, the sun was setting and the early night was so beautiful. Zuko walked a steady pace behind, holding the basket of food and supplies. Your innocence was so terrifying yet refreshing to him. You turned around with a couple flowers in your hand that Zuko had gotten for you to replace the one he ‘gave away’. Your smile was always so bright, never a frown showing through. So much light and joy radiated off of you, it seemed to spread to the people around you. Everyone you talked to, every person you hugged and shared a laugh with, just lifted their day. Zuko was forever in awe of how you presented yourself and kept such a positive demeanor all the time. But he knew you would learn the world one day, learn the cruelties and unfairness of it all. But that didn’t have to be right now. Right now, you were dancing along a path, in the sunset of nightfall with flowers in hand, smiling as if all the colours in the world were made for you.
You guys made your way back to camp, a fire already lit with everyone around chatting. You both joined the circle and Katara came around with tea and a blanket for the two of you. You sat close to Zuko, pressing your shoulder into his arm, holding close your flowers and a big smile on your face while explaining the wonderful afternoon at the market. Unbeknownst to you, Zuko could have told a completely different story, but he just nodded along with your words. Let you relive the beautiful afternoon at the busy market, keeping the raunchy events he saw unfold in the back of his mind. Katara smiled as you told your story of the flowers Zuko gave you in replacement, you poked at his arm and insisted he was nicer then he played out to be. Everyone laughed, but Katara gave Zuko a small knowing smirk, he quickly looked away waving her off.
There wasn’t much innocents left in this world, if it was, it was hard to find. Zuko lost his so long ago, faced the world in its blunt cruelties and took it as it was. But you held on so well, it seemed effortless. In all of his strength and power, he would make sure you held onto it as long as you could. But when the ugly truth of the world began to set in, he would be there to protect you, by your side, like always. Ready to burn down whoever steps in your path.

Zuko x FemReader imagine where your out drinking w friends and run into a protective Zuko ;)
Tumblr media
Ok ok bare with me please....
This is a smutty one... my first actual smut, go easy! it doesn’t follow story lines! So please don’t get mad.
Ok around 1400 words so here we go! Imagine...
RATED E FOR EVERYONE OVER 21
You’re out for the night with some of your friends in the big city of Ba Sing Se. The night life was busy as you all hopped between the few bars in the main city. The group dwindled through the night as your friends split with other friends or someone new for the night (wink wink). You were left with 2 friends as you guys stumbled out of the last bar for the night. You guys laughed and walked the main street, it was lit up, so lively as many people passed and concession stands reaped in popularity. The plan was to head back to one of your friends' places and continue the party there. As you guys walked the main strip, you saw a young man was locking up the new popular tea shop, a young man you knew very well.
“Zuko!” you shouted and ran in front of your friends. Y’all weren’t really a thing, but you were very good ‘friends’. You give him a big hug and he wraps an arm around your waist, while with his other, he pulls on the tea shop door, making sure it's locked. He turns his attention to you and has a small smirk across his lips, “you’ve been drinking tonight, huh.” Suggesting y’all had a good time as he gestures to yours and your friends obviously drunken state. You lean into him and start to try and talk your way out of how the situation definitely looks. He rolled his eyes and poked your side as you laughed and tried to step away. You looked at him sweetly and asked if he wanted to come back and continue the party with you guys, though you knew his answer already, he declined, he wasn’t much of a party guy and you knew that. So you stuck your tongue out at him playfully but he does say he will walk you guys back. You knew he would because in his nature, he was a very protective guy.
On your walk back to your friends' apartment, you guys met up with some of the people you had first started the night with. The group was much bigger now and you guys were nearing her place. The party consisted of friends, friends of friends and completely new people who tagged along during this crazy night. This new gang of people crowded the hallway to the door of her apartment. You were in the middle of the crowd as people bumped and pushed against you, but you felt a hand grab your arm. You stopped and looked at Zuko, the one pulling you out of the crowd. Now a few feet away, you stood almost chest to chest with him, you stared up at him knowing what he was thinking. You smiled, feeling bold so you linked arms with Zuko and told your friends you were splitting off with him back to his place. The group piled into the apartment while you and Zuko walked to his place close by.
Zuko unlocked his door and you walked in and flopped on the couch. You stretched out and smiled, floating in your buzzed and drunk state. Zuko tossed his keys on his counter and hung up his jacket, he looked at you and smiled, then asked if you wanted some water. You shot up and leaned over the back of the couch, knees on the seat. You asked if your bottle of ginger liquor was still here. He clicks his tongue and stares at you for a moment. You give him your best smile and he cracks a smirk.
“Absolutely not.” He walks up directly in front of you, laying a hand down flat on the top if the couch and gently placing a hand under your chin. “How many drinks have you had?” butterflies swarm your stomach as he holds your chin to keep eye contact. You smile and let out a short hum, no response. “6? 8? Maybe 10?” he asked. You’re as still as a statue as he holds you, you wait patiently. “Did you even know half the people in that group, how many strange men who could have taken advantage of a stunning woman who has had...?” You roll your eyes, “14...?” you meekly reply. “14. 14 drinks. Spirits, how are you still standing.” He looks at you with stern eyes, and you mimic his serious look. You lean back out of his grasp and his hand falls on the top of the couch. “Where do you think you’re going?” he asks as watches you walk towards his room. You turn around and start to slowly walk backwards with your hands behind your back, “why don’t you follow and find out.” you shyly say, playing coy. “That’s not gonna happen.” Zuko says and walks around the couch and takes a seat. You stop walking towards his bedroom and redirect your path quick, he does this every time, he likes it when you are adamant about it. If he didn’t wanna take this to his room then his lap would just have to do. You walk over and take a seat in his lap, straddling him, Zuko places his hands on your thighs, “do you want something?” He asks, his eyes darken. You leaning in close, inches from his face, “I need something.” He just about closes the gap, your lips just barely touching, one of his hands now on your waist. “Don’t be shy, tell me.” He breathes out. The cockiest guy around yet you still want him. “Fuck me.” You tell him. He looks at you with hunger, both hands are back at the side of your thighs, “say please.” You look at him with your most dolled up eyes, “oh Zuko... pretty pease~” in an instant his lips connected with yours and you guys were heading to the bed room. He carried you as your legs were wrapped around his waist, he laid you on the bed, him overtop of you, “fucking beg for it.” He spoke, his voice low and husky. You moaned as he removed your skirt and flipped you over with ease. You looked over your shoulder at him “Please Zuko, fuck me until I can’t walk. I need you to fucking do me now.” Zuko pushed your head down to the pillow, you gasped and he grabbed your waist. He let a smile cross his face when you moaned as he pushed inside of you. “Thats it kitten~” He breathed, “you’re such a good girl taking in all of me.” You moaned as he filled you with his length, shit he knew how to hit every right spot. He smacked your ass and pulled out, he flipped you onto your back, he put your ankles over his shoulder and started to fuck you again. Your eyes rolled back in your head, you could feel him so deep, you would swear he was in your stomach, “oh spirits- Zuko~” you tried to rasp out. He let your legs down and was thrusting into you at a rhythm where you could feel pressure building. You widened your legs as he pushed inside you, you tangled your fingers in his hair as you pulled him into a kiss and played with each other's tongues. You pulled back, “fuck Zuko, I’m gonna cum~” you were right there, on your edge, Zuko now began to push in harder and deeper than before, how that was possible you had no idea. You finished and you finished hard. So hard you saw stars. But Zuko was still going, he was reaching his end and you were in absolute bliss, struggling to contain your moans as you were so sensitive while he reached his peak. You could tell he was about to pull out and finish, so you wrapped your legs around him “cum in me Zuko, fill me up~” you whined out. That sent him over his edge and that was exactly what he did. He finished, filled you up, then waited a few seconds before pulling out, and when he did, you gasped as you felt it drip out. He laughs and gives you a kiss, “Let me clean you up princess.”

Another Zuko x FemReader fic :o
Tumblr media
So I’ve been away for a bit and saw quite a few likes on my past Zuko fics so ok yeah, Another Zuko fic for y’all. Found this one was kinda longer but one of my better ones :)
This one kinda plays off a previous plot of one of my past ones but just hang in there. This one will for sure tickle your feels, especially for the protective grump boy and innocent sweet girl trope we all love.
Here we go: 1500+ word count, Zuko is 19, girl is like 17, feel like they would be aged up in this scenario, not really following plot, stanning the long Zuko hair.
TW: Nothing really, kinda weird gross men sexually talking and broken bone and burns but thats about it.
OK HERE WE GO, IMAGINE THIS.....
So Zuko and Iroh are out at sea in the lower quarters mapping out their next route. Zuko is over the map and Iroh is sitting comfortably drinking his tea. They hear scrambling and shouts on the main deck of the boat. Zuko shoots up and a guard swings open the door, panting, he alerts them of a ship wreck. Zuko and Iroh move to the upper deck and look out into the water, where there was a demolished sinking ship a few yards away. Out of nowhere, crew members collectively called out and pointed to a person clinging to a broken piece of board. Zuko commanded to bring the survivor aboard. The crew lowered a paddle boat down to the water and hauled aboard the lone figure, they hardly moved. While this happened, upon the main deck, Zuko and Iroh discussed what could’ve happened to the ship and concluded pirates. They turn around and head towards the paddle boat being hoisted up, the crew members empty out and carry the individual on board and onto the ground. Zuko approached and knelt down, it was a girl, soaking wet, her clothing was tattered, ripped, her breathing was ragged and shallow. He ordered a crew member to take her below deck, leave her in his chamber for the night and to bring her water, a robe and a blanket. Zuko spoke with Iroh, staying above deck that night and agreed it would be good to get some information. He could take on whatever came his way but being prepared never hurt anyone.
Zuko made his way below deck the next morning and ordered the guards to leave as he entered his chamber with some tea and rice for the girl. He opened the door and saw her with a blanket around her shoulders. She was in a red robe, holding her empty water cup standing in front of a mural on the wall. Her head spun quickly towards him and he motioned his hands upward carefully and told her he meant no harm. She kept her eyes trained on him and he walked over, sat down at the table and asked her to join him. She wearily took a seat as he handed her the tea and rice, then asked her about what happened. She was very quiet and quick to the point but confirmed his suspicions about pirates. She seemed quite rattled, he could imagine what she had seen and endured, but he could respect someone who knows how to keep their wits afterwards too. She didn’t tell Zuko much about herself when he’d asked, staying very silent, shy, almost, innocent. He told her he would let her go at the closest town, he explained they shouldn't carry passengers on this boat, only prisoners, so they had to find something fast. Quickly cutting off their conversation, the boat came to a halt that stumbles both of them. Zuko tells the girl to stay down in the chamber while he goes and checks what caused the sudden stop.
Zuko emerges from the lower quarters onto the main deck to see a Fire Nation ship boarding his own. As he walks over to his uncle, General Zhao comes into view. Zuko grits his teeth and asks what's the meaning of the hold up, Zhao smugly informs him that all passing ships need inspection and that this boat was no exception. Iroh plays neutral and excuses Zuko's mannerism, inviting him for some tea, hoping to get him talking and forgetting about this “routine” check. The men sit and talk for some time. A while ago Zhao had asked for something stronger than tea, so out came an old ginger liqueur. The three men drank away, Zhao going to town, Iroh only having a couple drinks, while Zuko had none, all thrown over his shoulder. With the bottle almost gone and the conversation dying, Zuko was ready to get this man off his ship.
They all get up and prepare to escort General Zhao off the ship, with many thanks and happy gestures leading them towards the other ship, the man laughs and says, not so fast, and insists on continuing his inspection. Zuko clenched his fists, tries to keep cool. but that's out the window as he watches him make his way down the stairs to the lower deck. He follows down hastily and catches him poking at crates in the hallway, Iroh is quickly behind him.
Zuko catches up with Zhao and impatiently insists he is wasting everyone's time. Zhao turns a lazy head to Zuko, heavy eyelids and slurred speech explaining he’s almost done, turns his eyes towards Zuko's quarters, and only takes one step before Zuko is in front of him, chest to chest blocking his way. Stone cold face, he says there’s nothing for him to inspect, that is his private quarter where nobody is to enter. General Zhao stops for a second and laughs. But Zuko doesn’t laugh. The laugh turns into a chuckle and dies quickly, Zhao asks if Zuko is hiding anything, but there is no response. His face was flat, no emotion. General Zhao lights up and accuses him of hiding something, or someone. Zuko stared at him as a warning. Zhao took a small step back, looking down the hall at his shut door, asking if it was a girl. Maybe someone he picked up to play with or to keep entertained from a local city. Zhao groaned in a repulsive manner, Zuko felt his rage turning over inside him.
Meanwhile, down the hallway on the other side of the door, the girl sat on the floor, tea in hand, alone, scared, huddled in the blanket, awaiting word from the boy who had spoken to her earlier, who gave her a bit of ease.
General Zhao pushed at Zuko, Asking if she was just hiding back there to keep his bed warm. Zuko's eyes could set towns on fire with the amount of burning hatred for this man. Zhao told him if he ain’t leaving her with some bruises or tears then he ain’t doing it right. Zuko stared at him wide eyed, like a dragon ready to rip apart its next prey, when Zhao put a hand on Zuko's shoulder, then leaned in close and asked zuko to give him a share of the girl back there, that he’d be quick with her. He snapped, and Iroh saw it, but before he could do anything Zuko was quick and grabbed General Zhao around the wrist and elbow and began to burn the spots he held, Zhao screamed and Iroh yelled for Zuko to stop, but everything was just a blurb of sound until the crack of General Zhao forearm snapping over Zuko's knee brought him back. Stunned silence fell for only a second. Zuko released the man and he fell to the ground with a loud wail, his arm broken, flopping about covered in blood and burns. Guards began running and flooding down the steps.
The girl shot up, hearing the screaming coming from close outside the door and running above head, she began to panic. She couldn’t do another sinking ship, but this ship wasn’t sinking, it wasn’t hit. She was told to stay put but was torn, risking seeing what was going on or staying hidden.
Few of General Zhao’s men came down as well as Zukos, Zuko said he was much too intoxicated and had fallen, commanding them to take the waist of a man off his ship. As they did, Iroh stood by his side, eyes closed, not one word. Zuko was quiet, but said it was nothing a basic water tribe healer couldn’t fix. flexing his hands and calming his breath, they heard the creek of the door open behind them, Iroh and Zuko carefully turned around, the girl stood half in the doorway. She looked so vulnerable, so small and defenceless. Zuko's heart fell a bit, he couldn’t stop the thought of if Zhao's ship had found her first, he balled his fist at the thought, the things he was saying to him mere minutes before, spirits, his face contorted for a second with anger, wanting to break his other arm. The girl said nothing, Zuko slowly walked towards the girl and motioned Iroh to go on the main deck and man for a while.
The girl and Zuko went back into his quarters, keeping the door open, he explained to her what the plan was, he tried to make it so clear that it was safer for her below deck but she was free to do as she pleased, so she may roam the main deck for a short time if she wished. He told her he would bring her some food and water whenever she wanted, and he had offered to be her personal escort into the first nearby town to buy her some clothes. Zuko wasn’t going to tell her what had happened in the hallway or what things were said. But, he did offer for her to remain on his ship if she pleases, he had made a promise to keep her safe, and that was exactly what he was going to do.

Imagine w Zuko
Tumblr media
1010 word count, everyone is 18+ :)
WHERE THE PG-13 STOPS
Could you imagine, in book one, Zuko wants to get some information about the avatar or any leads to finding him. So he does some snooping and somehow finds out a girl in the Southern Water Tribe has long ago tied ancestry with the monks. He makes his way across the ocean with his uncle to find this girl, keeping his research a secret because it was his only leverage. He finds her and takes her hostage, brings her aboard the ship and below deck into his quarters. He stays with her for hours, trying to intimidate her in any way he could. She pleads, insists that she doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He can see she’s scared but he feels no remorse. He wouldn’t hurt her, he just needs information. He knows he can handle anything she would try to do to escape so he leaves her untied, but keeps the door locked. He goes up for fresh air every hour or so after getting nowhere with the girl. Iroh insists on letting her go, but Zuko refuses, this girl has to know something, anything. He goes back down with a tray of rice and tea in hand (courtesy of Iroh) to see her sitting on the floor. Zuko sets the food on the table and takes a seat in silence, looking at a map posted and spread wide on the table, he’s going to try a different approach, one his uncle suggested. After some time the girl gets up and takes the tray to the other side of the table. They sit in silence. She tries to intimidate him by bringing up his past. He’s a bit confused on how she knows so much but he cannot let that bother him, he doesn’t answer anything she says. She starts to get angry, she moves further up the table so she’s right across from him, her palms slam the table, trying to get him to crack. But nothing. She huffs and starts questioning his actions, how useless it is, how it was in-futile and a waste of his time. He stands up from the table and walks over to his dresser, she follows close behind. She continued her insults throwing anything at him she could, he turned his face to her and she pointed her finger straight at his nose. But he was quick with his action of grabbing her wrist and turning them to pin her to the wall. She struggles and curses but he stands in front of her holding her steady. He wasn’t going to be pushed around and he had to assert himself. She threw insult after insult, and Zuko could tell this was going nowhere. He let her go and started to walk towards the door, he needed something else, uncle had no clue what he was talking about. She ran after him and grabbed the back of his shirt, he turned around and she started slamming her fists on his chest, calling him names and how awful his actions were. She poses threats and warning to his actions, and he throws them right back. They are nose to nose yelling at each other and somehow things took a turn and got pretty steamy, they don’t remember who started it or how it went so far, but they both ultimately didn’t care, and ended up on the bed, frantically taking off each others clothing looking for a hot release of their frustration.
Fast forward to book 3, the Gaangs all together at this point. At first it was a bit awkward for the girl and Zuko but they didn’t talk about what happened on the ship that night and went about their time pretending like it never happened, starting anew. The Gaang knew Zuko and the girl had met way prior to them meeting again in this group, but not to the extent that actually happened, and that's how they planned to keep it. One night at Ember Island, the group goes to a play called Love Amongst the Dragons. Zuko protested but the Gaang wanted to get away. So, they all end up in the theatre, the Girl and Zuko sitting beside one another, Katara and Aang sitting in the row in front of them, and Sokka, Suki, and Toph sitting above them. The play started, and the theatre went quiet, the Gaang was a bit confused on how accurate the play was in the grand scheme of things. But Zuko and the girl went wide-eyed at the scene unfolding in front of them. Two characters, in a dark chamber... surprise, it was Zuko and his prisoner. The group looked intrigued as they didn’t really know anything on how the two met prior. The scene went on in a very dramatic representation of the situation, but overall basically what happened. The two were really hoping for a quick end, but alas, the two characters on stage went quiet, and looked at each other, as the girl and Zuko did in real time in absolute disbelief. Then the two on stage shared a kiss and the curtains closed for that act.

Okay hear me out...
Zuko, from Avatar last air bender... hear me out...
Kinda outside the story a bit so don’t chew me out, but HEAR ME OUT...
You’re in the Gaang after Zuko finally teams up, you and him usually have some fun, almost flirty banter back and forth but nothing too serious... at least not in front of the others. But you guys have definitely had moments in more alone time situations ;))))
1200 words (Cut me some slack, Haven’t written one before!!!!!)
CHILDREN COVER YOUR EARS
It’s a hot day so you and the Gaang set up camp in a near by forest for shade. The group heads out to gather supplies, while you and Zuko stay behind to set up camp. as much as you didn’t want anymore heat during this day, you guys would need wood to have a fire to cook food later on. So you and Zuko head further into the forest looking for logs, fallen branches and twigs.
On your search, you guys banter a bit, and get quite flirty, he laughs and pushes you, you drop your twigs and laugh as you topple over into a bush. You get up and try to push him back, you didn’t move him much but he stumbled a bit to make you feel better. He straightened up and gave you a look that could put hundreds of butterflies in your stomach. He quickly moves towards you and picks you up and throws you over his shoulder with ease. You laugh and pat his back protesting but not wanting to be put down at the same time.
After a few minutes of being upside down, the heat gets to you fast. Zuko puts you down and as you guys walk further, a river with a waterfall comes into view, your eyes light up and Zuko gives you a smile. You laugh and begin to strip as you run towards the water. When you get in, Zuko stands by the shore looking around, making sure nobody is around, not wanting anyone to possibly see you. You laugh and tell him to get in. He gives a sly smirk and moves into the water, you slowly swim back keeping your eyes on him, you smile and swim under the water to the back side of the waterfall, Zuko follows you slowly, also stripping.
You come up behind the waterfall, your hair slicked back, you tread the water and look around. It’s sparkly, shaded and cool. It smells clean, you smile and sigh, you look up and around to take in the scene, but instead there’s Zuko treading in the water behind you, about 6 feet away. You didn’t even hear him over the sound of the falling water. You each smile at each other.
“I guess you’re not such a stick in the mud, huh?” you said.
“I guess not.” He replied.
You move slightly closer to him, keeping eye contact.
“You know what?” You asked.
“I know many things.” He answered.
“I’m not wearing anything.” You said trying to get a rise.
“I know, I watched you.”
“Like nothing.” You whispered.
“I know, me too.”
Your heart pounds in your ears, you stare at each other. You move closer to him, as he has stayed in the same place, watching you. You can’t think of anything to say. All that passes through your mind is the many moment tarnished by people walking in, someone always being around, no time where there are just the two of you.
You move closer. All the times you craved him, pushed away by the condensed proximity of others.
You were mere inches from his face.
It’s just us.
“What do you want?” He asked carefully.
“I thought you knew many things?” You replied, not much question to your tone, though you both knew where this was going.
“I have an idea.” he said closing the gap between you two.
You push your body closer to his, his chests tight against yours. Your lips dance together hungrily. So much built up tension and longing, emotion and frustration, pouring out into this one interaction. Zuko pushed you guys to the back of the waterfall where a long flat rock laid shallow in the water, resting on it.
You try and pull him closer, placing your hand on his jawline and running your hands through his hair, he pulls away to go down to your neck. Zuko kisses, bites and sucks along your neck, collar bone and shoulders. You let out a soft moan, Zuko loved how he could make you fall apart. He sat down on the rock and the water now came to just below his collar bone, you sat on his lap and continued the kiss.
In between your thighs, you could feel that the blood in his body wasn’t going to the head attached to his shoulders. It gave you crazy butterflies and it made you want it so much more. You looked at each other for a moment and within a silent agreement, decided to take advantage of the situation.
The sun started to set as you guys walked back to the camp. You had one arm laced around Zuko’s, as he had his shirt around his shoulders, you guys laughing and talking about everything and anything. You guys decided not to say anything to the group yet and keep your feeling between each other.
You released Zuko’s arm as you guys walked back up to the camp. You heard the chit-chat of the Gaang as you guys walked closer, you smiled up at Zuko and shoved him playfully and ran forward ahead. You heard him curse and you  laughed as you ran through the bushes back into camp, Zuko was quickly behind you though.
The Gaang looked at you both and asked where you guys were off too.
“We went to go find some firewood, nothing had fallen close by so we went for a walk.”
Sokka looked at both of us with a confused look.
“And you guys still didn’t find anything?” He say gesturing to our empty hands.
“No, it was too hot so we came back.” Zuko said quickly, crossing his arms.
“Right...” Sokka said looking at Zuko, Prince of the Fire Nation. You looked over seeing Toph whispering something to Katara.
Feeling desperate to change the subject you asked Katara if there was anything you could do to help with food or dinner or anything to get away from this topic. She walked you over to the food basket and you guys knelt down.
“I can guess you found some other kinda wood out there huh?” She whispered to you quietly. Your face went red and she giggled. “I won’t say.” she said too you sweetly.
Meanwhile, over with the others, Sokka stands beside Zuko.
“you guys weren’t looking for firewood, were you?.” Sokka said to Zuko quite matter of factly.
“Yes, we were.” Zuko replied with his arms still crossed, face like stone.
“Humm....” Sokka thought out loud, waiting for Zuko to crack, but they just stared at each other.
“Fine, you can tell me on your own terms, but just know, I always know.” Sokka said to Zuko, pointing at his nose, but Zuko didn’t move, almost like a statue. Sokka walked away with Aang which left Toph by Zukos side.
“Don’t say a word.” Zuko said to Toph, handing her a small bag of money.
“Pleasure doing business with you, I don’t even know what you’re talking about.” She said as she snatched the bag from his hand.
