Author's Note: This was a comfort fic that I wrote for myself
----------------------------------
I frowned and tried to not move as my back felt like it was being shocked. It had been going on all day. I took medicine, tried to stretch, tried to relax... nothing was working.
"(Y/n)," I grumbled when I heard Tom call my name. The front door shut gently, and I heard soft footsteps moving over towards the couch. The cushion next to me sank a little bit. "What's going on?"
"My back hurts," I said quietly. "A lot."
"Did you take any medicine," he asked.
"Nope, I just sat there and accepted the pain," I replied sarcastically before my voice went soft and apologetic. "Sorry."
"It's alright," Tom softly stroked my hair. "What can I do?"
"I don't know," I mumbled.
"I'll be right back, alright," Tom leaned down to kiss my cheek as I nodded.
I close my eyes when he left, wanting to just feel comfortable for the first time all day. I only opened my eyes when I heard the floors creak.
"I brought you an ice pack... I don't know if it'll help but it's worth a try," he shrugged. He had wrapped it in a towel. "Point to where you're hurting, please."
"Okay," I replied. Tom gently placed the ice pack on where I had pointed. He sat down next to me again, running a hand through my hair as he turned the TV on, turning on a movie that he knew I loved. "Thanks."
"You're welcome," he replied. "Try to get a little sleep. I'll take care of everything."
"Okay," I closed my eyes. "Love you."
"I love you too," he chuckled due to how tired I sounded. "I hope you feel better."

Help - Josh Washington Imagine (Until Dawn)

Summary: On the one-year anniversary of Hannah and Beth's death, (Y/n) and Josh face each other for the first time since the event.
Author's Note: I completely changed the ending of this.
-------------------------------
I screamed as I woke up from yet another nightmare. I pulled my knees to my chest and put my forehead on my knees. All I could do was hope that the memories would fade. Which could really make people question why I would go back to where the event had taken place.
"(Y/N)," my mom opened the door, moving to sit on the edge of my bed. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah," I replied. "Maybe this trip is a bad idea."
"Maybe it'll help you," she put an arm around my shoulders. "Have you spoken to Josh?"
"No, he cut me off," I looked down. "I'm gonna try to get some more sleep."
"Okay, sweetheart," she kissed the side of my head. "Good luck."
The Washingtons and I had been best friends for a long time. When the group of "friends" played the "prank" on Hannah, I had followed the two of them into the woods. I hit a root the wrong way and went down. I couldn't get back up before a mysterious man made them walk too close to the edge of the cliff. I watched them fall.
I had to limp back to the lodge and explain what happened. Everyone was shocked. My ankle was a mess. Josh wanted to hear everything from me in private. The last conversation I had with Josh was telling him that I thought his sisters were dead and that I tried so hard to save them. I could have saved them if I watched my step.
Josh hasn't talked to me since. I thought he blamed me. But I did everything to stop the prank and I tried to save them. I did all that I could. Thinking that Josh hated me really hurt. But he invited me to the get-together so maybe things weren't as bad as I thought. Maybe this was his way of reaching out and saying, "Hey, I forgive you. Come back. I miss you."
That was something I could hope for... right?
--time skip--
"Bye, Mom," I said, hugging her tightly. "Love you."
"Love you too," she grinned. "Good luck."
I smiled back before walking outside. Sam had agreed to take the bus up to the cable car with me.
She pulled up a video on her phone and handed me an earbud. It was Josh's new video. I chuckled at a bit of his behavior but still found myself sniffling. Sam- knowing very well what I was going through- gave me a side hug as a way to comfort me.
--time skip--
I followed close behind Chris and Sam as we approached the lodge. My nerves were kicked into high gear as I got closer. One part was my brain reminding me of what happened here. The other part was me remembering that I had to see Josh again today.
"(Y/N)," I turned around to face Josh as he walked over. He smiled slightly. He looked happy to see me. "You look great."
"Thanks," I replied. "So do you."
"Thanks," he nodded. Before I got the chance to talk to him about what happened, he and Chris took off to get the door open.
I tried to have a light-hearted conversation with Ashley and Sam as we waited but I was still distracted. I only paid attention when the two of them walked to the front door. It flew open, a wolf running out of it.
"That was fun," I said, my hand on my chest.
"Yeah, that's what I always do for fun," Chris joked, nudging me slightly.
Everyone got inside and started getting comfortable. Josh was trying to get a fire going. I walked over and sat next to him. He smiled at me.
"How are you," I asked.
"Can we talk about this later," he replied. He knew very well that I was going to dig deeper than whatever half-hearted answer he was going to come up with. "Just let me get the fire started."
"O-okay," I nodded. I watched everyone else closely. I felt things shifting back to normal. I used to almost cling to Josh's side.
My nerves were kicked up to eleven when Emily and Jess started fighting. My previous feeling was wrong. No matter how hard I tried, nothing would go back to normal. There was always going to be a lasting tension. Even if the group seemed to have forgotten what they did last year. Jess and Mike went to a small cabin down the trail and Josh walked back over to me.
"Come on," Josh held a hand out to me. I took it and followed him upstairs. We got to his room, which hasn't changed in years. "Make yourself comfortable."
"Thanks," I mumbled. I sat on the edge of his bed, him following my lead. "How are you?"
"Shitty," he answered simply. I bit my lip. "I miss them. They were my world and I let them go."
"You couldn't have done anything, Josh," I said. "You did nothing wrong. I should have saved them."
"You were hurt," he replied, not actually looking at me. "You couldn't have saved them from what happened because you got hurt. At least you tried. You tried everything. I was just passed out."
"Which is why you couldn't do anything to prevent what happened," I continued. "You didn't know what was going to happen. You thought it was a fun night. You aren't to blame for this. At all."
"I cut you off," he whispered. "Why did I do that? You didn't do anything. I should've talked to you. I should've helped you. You must have been going through so much."
"I'm trying to get better," I nodded. "My mom is thinking of taking me to a therapist."
"I'm so sorry," he sniffled. I hugged him as tears filled my own eyes. "I won't run again. I promise."
"Please don't," I muttered. "I don't know if I can handle that a second time."
Josh hugged me just a bit tighter.
For the first time in a year, I felt like someone was truly there.

Good Night - Elliot Alderson Imagine (Mr. Robot)

Author's Note: There's a lot of Rami Malek imagines because I had a whole book of them.
----------------------------------
"Hey," I smiled as Elliot opened the door to his apartment. "How was work today?"
"Same as usual," he shrugged. "Do you want dinner?"
"That sounds great," I sat on the couch, Flipper jumping on my lap. Elliot set down the take-out containers that he had picked up after work. "How have you been feeling?"
"Okay," that was usually the answer. He's trying to go further though. He was starting to learn that I was always going to be there for him.
Elliot and I had been friends for years, but we had recently started dating. So, as awkward as people thought our conversations were, this was our kind of normal. I slowly placed my hand on his and he grinned at me.
We sat in a comfortable silence for a little over half an hour. I could tell something was on his mind. I leaned on the back of the couch and tried to decipher what was going on in his ever-changing mind. He gave me a weird look.
"What," he asked.
"I'm just wondering what you're thinking about," I replied. "Something's bugging you. What is it?"
"I just wanted to ask you something," Elliot looked down. "Do you wanna stay here tonight?"
I was shocked.
I had never stayed at his house. The closest we had been to any form of intimacy or physical contact was one kiss and then occasionally holding hands. I was too scared to try and push him into anything more. He seemed comfortable. Why would I ruin that?
"Are you sure," I asked after a moment of silence.
"Of course, I am," he nodded. That was the most confident I had ever seen him.
"O-okay," I smiled, still slightly shocked.
We stayed up for another hour or two, just talking and sometimes giggling. I always loved when Elliot laughed. It always seemed to shock people who hadn't heard him laugh before.
"Ready for bed," Elliot asked after I yawned. I nodded and stood up.
Elliot handed me one of his shirts that never saw the light of day from under his hoodie. I went to change in his bathroom before I walked out to see him already laying down. I followed his lead and laid next to him, being careful not to make him move from his spot.
I never thought I would be awkward in front of him. We laid there, facing each other but leaving a space between us. I still was terrified of pushing Elliot out of his comfort zone. This was one of the moments that I truly realized how much I wanted to hold him and kiss him whenever I wanted to.
I closed my eyes, trying to ignore our tension when Elliot moved his leg forward. He tangled our legs together and I let out a small sigh and grinned. That would've been enough. That small bit of contact would've helped me sleep through the night. Then, a pair of lips touched my nose. My eyes opened, Elliot's eyes being far closer than they were before.
I felt his breath on my lips as he stared into my eyes. It was almost like he was checking. He was as worried about this as I was. Elliot- almost in slow motion- moved the last centimeters to kiss me. It was soft, almost tired, but it was everything I wanted.
Elliot's hand landed on my waist, causing me to jump slightly but not pull away. My hands moved to touch his sides. They moved all the way around his torso as he pulled me closer. My chest touched his and I used that as my cue to pull away. We were still basically breathing into each other's mouths as we stared at each other.
I finally moved back enough to lay my head down and cuddle into the crook of his neck. Elliot's thumb was tracing shapes on my hip as I sighed and closed my eyes again. I fell asleep even more peacefully than I did in my own apartment.
This... this was perfect.

Perfect Performance - Corey Cott Imagine

Pairing: Corey Cott X Reader

Summary: (Y/n) goes to visit their best friend in New York.
Author's Note: Here's the first post on my archive account! This is a big project but I'm very excited about it.
----------------------------------------
I jumped when my phone started ringing but smiled when I saw who it was.
"Hey Corey," I said.
We had been friends for years and he was very excited about his performance on Good Morning America. He was the same way with everything. It was fun to watch and hear about everything. Corey was making sure I was watching.
"Are you watching," he said immediately.
"I have it on," I said. "I am just getting some coffee."
"You and your coffee."
"Shut up," I laughed lightly and went to sit down on the couch. "You guys haven't even started yet."
"You have ten minutes, hurry up."
"I'm already sitting on the couch," I said. Corey was ridiculous sometimes. I can't think of a time since we've been friends that he hasn't acted like a child in some way. "Hey, I may be coming to see the full show, by the way."
"Really," he asked. "You're casually coming to New York and didn't tell me."
"That's why I'm telling you now," I shrugged. "I don't wanna pay for a place to stay."
"I feel so loved," he replied. "I'll see you when you get into town."
"You don't wanna know when I'm flying in?"
"That may be useful."
"Yeah, it may, you dork," I laughed again. "I'm flying in next Monday. See you then."
"See you," with that, he hung up the phone.
I smiled down at it before looking back up at the screen. My gaze moved to my TV as they announced the performance. That song was catchy as hell. I would have danced along to it if I hadn't had a mug of coffee in my hand.
--time skip--
Corey had texted me his address the night before I flew in. I insisted because I didn't want to make him miss important work when I was capable of making the trip myself. Five minutes to let me in was easier than however long it would take to get to the airport, pick me up, and then go back to his place.
I knocked on his door while bouncing slightly on the balls of my feet.
"Hi," I said with a small wave.
"(Y/n)," Corey hugged me and pulled me inside.
"How are you," I asked.
"Great," he said. "I'm so happy you're here." I smiled at him and felt my cheeks heat up slightly.
"I'm happy to be here," I thought I saw him blush this time, but I ignored it. "I'm going to tomorrow's show, just so you know."
"Okay," he said. "Here, I'll give a spare key so you won't have to wait for me."
I nodded and waited for him to hand me a key.
"I don't know where you want to sleep, but that's your choice," Corey shrugged.
"Thanks," I said and sat on the couch and put my bag next to it. "I'll be alright out here."
"I won't fight you on that, but don't blame me if your back hurts tomorrow."
"I am making no promises."
"I'll take that as an answer," Corey chuckled before jokingly ruffling my hair. "I'm heading to bed, sleep well."
"You too," I grinned a little bit.
Once he walked out, I let out a deep breath. I need to stop being so awkward. I just hope that I won't make him too uncomfortable. Hey, that's nothing to worry about. You're visiting your best friend, that's it. You are visiting and you are to see him on Broadway tomorrow. It won't be awkward; it will be fine.
--time skip--
After seeing the show, I decided to go shower. It was just so I could a little more comfortable when I was going to bed.
"You were awesome," I said excitedly as I almost bounced over to the couch and landed right next to him on the couch.
He gave me a small smile in response. He was tired. I knew that I was probably bugging him.
After a yawn, he smiled at me again, "Thank you for visiting."
"Why are you thanking me?"
"It's just really nice to see you," he yawned a little bit and shifted to get more comfortable.
"It's nice to see you too," I mumbled as I felt my face heat up.
He smiled at me and grabbed a hold of my hand. I started staring at our hands.
"Is this okay," he asked.
"Yeah, this is... perfect," I nodded. I leaned over and rested my head on his shoulder. "Is this okay?"
"Absolutely," he kissed the top of my head and I felt myself fall asleep slowly and happily.

Welcome to the archive account!!
An Update About Wattpad
Hello.
So, recently, some important news has broken about Wattpad.
I have been on Wattpad since I was 12. I thought it was an open place where I could feel comfortable sharing my work. A place of open minds and trusting readers.
Now, I am a few days away from turning 19.
Wattpad is not the same website that I wanted it to be.
While convenient, it is not a place where I feel comfortable posting my work anymore. This is just a personal opinion. If you want to keep your work on that site, then I am happy for you and I wish you all of the luck in the world.
I just need to take the step that's best for me.
As of today (1/4/2022), I am going to be unpublishing my work from Wattpad.
I'm going to begin my process of cleaning things up and posting the most important things onto an archive account. This is mostly for my sake. These pieces of writing are memories. I don't want to lose them.
Thank you for understanding, if you even read this entire message.
If you'd like to look at the archive account, you can find it at @bibardarchive
