Lost in familiar places that burn

Yearning for that place to call home

Trudging on hoping the tides turn

Forever cursed to always roam

#yes - there's moments throughout the day where I'm happy #no matter how fleeting or insignificant they feel in the moment i appreciate them #bc most of the time i am anxious - sad - angry - and lost on what to do #but those small moments from teasing a sibling #talking to my mom #getting some kind of hope - it makes it easier to look to the next day even if most days start and end with dread

Money

In hand a few coins jingle

They linger in mind briefly

Placed in the machine

Loud with noise and promise

Cheering behind as a hit

While you stare at a miss

Patting pockets with hope

Stuck with a glaring loss

If only those coins hit

Then you'd have a belly full

A room to privacy and sleep

Rather than the cold that nips

Strangers who stare as you sleep

The coins that jingled, what a miss

Me: I'm done procrastinating writing!

Brain: Good, this story you've been working on is almost done, you're halfway there-

Me: Oh, I can't I wrote for five other stories, I'm done writing for the day.

Brain: But this story-

Me: Tomorrow. I worked on a paragraph earlier, we're good.

Brain: But if we finish it you'll feel so much better-

Me: Already flipped the writing switch off come back tomorrow.

Brain: You procrastinated writing with writing. I'm impressed and disappointed.

Me: Come back tomorrow and I'll find an even more ridiculous way to avoid it.

Thinking about CJ and Isaac, I'll introduce them better at a later date. But they're identical twins. Anyways, Isaac is the one who tries to get his parents recipes but they tell him no. One day CJ tried and was told no as well. So they tried teaming up and after a long while their parents gave in. Or so they thought, they weren't given any exact measurements to their dismay and also found out at a much later date that they weren't told all the ingredients. CJ caught his momma adding an ingredient when she told him to go get something from the garage. They felt incredibly betrayed.

#There's a reason for it #Their parents want them to develop their own recipes #They'll give the base but throughout trial and error they'll develop their own recipes and can pass those down if they want to #It's so it's made out of love and not a carbon copy of what their parents make #When they're much older they'll get the actual recipes but until then they are developing their own #CJ #Isaac #CJ and Isaac #original characters

This is my OC Guy Moreno.

He has a bag on his neck that he tells everyone is sacred, it's where he keeps snacks. It's the medicine he needs to keep going he tells everyone, and you know what, it is his medicine.

Some actual information about him, he is a drummer. Loves music, and is a strong singer. He's good at playing from the heart and you can hear the passion in every song he plays.

He's the oldest out of his siblings. He has three younger brothers and two younger sisters. He's the designated driver no matter how old they get, and is the one who tends to teach them how to drive.

He has multiple jobs, he likes to keep his hands busy, so he paints and on the side helps with landscaping. Sometimes he goes to his siblings houses and yank out the ugly bits that they complain about and pretends it's not him. Because he's nice, but not that nice. But they know better and pack onto a little extra food before he departs.
