 Their names are Casey (the space girl) and Drew (the punk one)! The picture is more chibi but Casey is 17 and Drew is 18! Also Drew has a tattoo on her arm that was not in the picture that basically is just swirly and punk and says DREW in capital letters!!! Here’s some info about them in case you need it!

New OCs!

Hi!

Since it’s OC week, I thought this would be a great time to introduce some new characters! We haven’t used these two very often, but I thought it would be fun to show them to you all! They have no image references yet (wink wink to you guys if you want to draw some) but they’re fully fleshed out! Also, I made a big post of all of our main OCs on @sstwins, so go check that out if you want to see those!

Without further ado, here are Casey and Drew!

Name: Casey “Spacey Casey” O’Hara

Age: 17

Appearance: Casey is tall and lanky with pale but healthy-looking skin, light golden blonde hair that she normally has tired into a messy ponytail, blue-green eyes, and freckles across her nose and cheeks. She normally wears plain t-shirts from camps and other events she's attended, her favorite is a dark navy blue shirt with "SPACE CAMP" written in large white letters and a white graphic of the planet Saturn. She wears faded blue jeans and a variety of colored Converse sneakers.

Personality: Casey is very sweet, but her constant daydreams make it hard to talk to her. She's full of life and is always excited to start working on her next engineering design project. Though she lives with a single dad, she's never missed her mom and feels perfectly fine with her family being the way it is. She gathers inspiration from things around her and plans her creations on the spot, even at the risk of cutting off conversations to scribble down notes or designs. Casey is very friendly and always enjoys talking to people, even though she may seem disinterested. She’s very intelligent, though naive about the more risque side of teenage life.

Biography: Casey lives with a single dad and her little brother, Conner, in a small house in Portland, Oregon. Her dad works in aviation, and Casey always loved playing with the model planes he had around the house. Casey has always dreamed of being an engineer and flying planes that she'd designed. Casey's mom left her dad when Casey was five for always "having his head up in the clouds", and Casey has grown up the exact same way. She often stares off into space and daydreams, thinking up new designs to build. This often occurs during conversations with other people, giving her the nickname "Spacey Casey" or "Space Case" for short. Despite her spacey behavior, Casey has a group of three friends who have known each other since fifth grade, and they've never showed a disinterest in Casey because of her behavior. Casey's room is a mess with her stuff strewn all over the place, and she has models of things she's designed on every available surface.

Fun fact: I drew inspiration for Casey from a mixture of Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson series and a science-minded girl I know in real life!

Other pertinent information: Casey and Drew are in a relationship (or will be soon!)!

Name: Drew

Age: 18

Appearance: Drew is hispanic with an undercut (the short half is dyed red, the longer half is dyed jet black and goes down to her shoulder). She wears a loose, black, off-the-shoulder t-shirt with a heart with a skull on top design (there are tears down the sides and back) and short red jean shorts with a black belt (they have some tears/frays). She wears combat boots in black, she has two piercings on each ear and a piercing on her nose, along with a tattoo on her left arm which says ‘DREW’ in big, drippy black letters with some swirls around it. Her eyes are a dark brown, almost black. She’s a little shorter than average height.

Personality: Drew is convinced that, in order to stand out, she needs to be rude, leading to a very abrasive attitude. Drew is wild and uncaring, causing her grades to tank. She hasn’t been able to make many friends and the people she parties with are her closest companions. Drew is insensitive and much more concerned with standing out herself than she is with what other people are up to. She is very inclined to make brash decisions, with the mindset of being willing (or desperate) to do anything to separate herself from the pack.

Biography: Coming from an average middle class family with parents who had average jobs, Drew lived an average life. She’d always been the middle of the pack in, well, everything, never particularly standing out. Drew grew rather spiteful over this, and as of her eighteenth birthday she became fervently determined to stand out in everything. Dying her hair bright colors and wearing clothes which would never have been considered acceptable for her average family were only two of the things Drew attempted in her wild attempt to finally stand out, which also included clubbing and engaging in other dangerous behaviors. The success of this has been debatable, as the other people in her school are more overwhelmed than impressed and her average parents aren’t too thrilled with this latest turn of events.

Fun fact: Drew went through a painting phase when she thought having an artistic talent would make her stand out. It didn't go well, and she now uses the few skills that she learned for graffiti.

Introduction to the OCs!

A lot of people who follow this blog probably don’t know about our OCs, so for OC week I figured this would be a great place to talk about our most major ones, which I have dubbed the “main 6” (so clever!). You’ll probably see these around the most on this blog and others! I’m going to go in order of when we created them and just give a brief introduction, and I’ll be posting some information about some never-seen-before (gasp!) OCs over on @ask-pepper-and-lightning!
