70 days so far...

I've slipped 3 times since I began, but overall doing pretty well. 16 pounds lost (water weight I know)

It was SO worth going for a walk this morning! The colors have not been altered at all...it was just that freaking beautiful. I feel blessed to have been there for this. Plus I did 3 miles, so yay me! Also had a good breakfast, and 32oz of water. Good start to the 70 day challenge.

70 days

I’ve made up a little challenge for myself (anyone who wants to join me is welcome!)

It takes just about 67 days to make something a habit…

With that in mind, plus my upcoming 15k, I thought this was a good time to try.

Here are the rules: 1. Clean eats every day 2. Exercise 5 days per week 3. Weigh in and measurements once per week

That’s all, I’m hoping that sticking to it, and posting regularly will help my accountability and give me a good short term goal.

Good luck to any and all of you guys who start this with me.

I'm back, well trying anyway...

The last year of my life has been so full of change that it's almost too much to take. I have been diagnosed with Lupus (explains oh so much) We moved into the RV I renovated full time for nearly 6 months now We live in the boonies, and it's beautiful! I lost over 90 pounds, then gained back 40 due to steroids for the Lupus...boo Now, as I'm facing even more challenges with my health, I've decided to have a little more faith that all of this means something. I am doing the Shamrock Run this March (did it in 2010) and I'm actually looking forward to something positive. Trying to eat as cleanly as possible to help with my tummy issues as well as the weight So that's about it.

Finally a spot of good news! We found a lovely home for our RV. Woods, wild blackberries, and a creek. Plus really great neighbors. It is very out in the boonies, but I think we can be happy here. Yay for not being homeless! Thanks to everybody who has helped, and kept us in their thoughts. Even on a bad day beauty can be found in the most mundane places.

In the hospital for pneumonia. IV antibiotics, pain meds, breathing treatments, and oxygen. Even with all of that my fever keeps spiking, and my heart rate is too high. I haven't been this sick with pneumonia in a very long time. Good juju, and happy thoughts would be super appreciated.
