Because “you’ll find your person” and “it’s just not your time”

The hollow platitudes offered that just don’t ease my mind

Because they’re meaningless words given to fill the void

But the void is in my heart and your words are just noise

Sometimes they make it feel worse but you can’t make it feel better

When I’ve been dumped, burned, ghosted, and cast aside

Too many times to want to pick myself up again and take another try

The loneliness is a curse that only love can break me free

Sentimental Sunday

last year i spent this night with you. i thought it was going to be the beginning of something great. a story to tell with a secret smile every time someone asked “so how did you meet?” i thought everything was perfect. you were there. you listened, let me talk. you never once made me feel like i was too much. i couldn’t ask for a better night.

i didn’t kiss you at midnight because i was scared. scared that it was too soon. scared that it would drive you away. scared that you didn’t want it.

we missed midnight anyways.

maybe that should have been my first clue that things weren’t going to go the way i thought they were. i thought i would be spending tonight with you. one year later, maybe we’d go back to the same bar. maybe you’d take me out to somewhere more adventurous. maybe.

but we’re not together tonight. somewhere in the past year we went from seeing each other to friends to nothing. I know you’ve moved on. i’m still trying. so, my latest lost love, this is for you. this and so many subsequent sentimental sunday letters. they’re all for you. this is how i process. how i deal. how i finally get to let you go.

i know i’m a lot. maybe i was too much for you. but i’m not going to apologize for myself anymore. i don’t know for sure what we would have been. but i bet we could have been amazing.

I never had people draw fanart for one of my fics or write something based on it, but I just know that that is such a high honor and show of love. I once had someone ask me if they could translate my fic in Chinese and I was like, wow, they love it enough to want to put time and effort into it to show it to more people.

oh I wasn’t aware it was feeding the ai. I’ve inserted hundreds of fics into chatgpt for their continuation or for a different plot within the same context just for fun and out of curiosity… but I’ve never posted any of them…

Indeed, anything that is given to AI it can use later to draw from. That's why it doesn't matter if you post them or not as it has now access to those writers' texts without their permission.
