Small Chapter Preview: 

It began on a summer day. The rain had fallen the day before, leaving the sky to be clear and vast. The sun beamed down but was not piercing while the wind was light and wispy. Walking alongside the road was freckle faced boy with large green eyes and short stature, his curly hair abiding to the motion of the breeze. It was the light that revealed the nature of the boy’s hair to be that of a deep green, opposed to a bed of black. One of his arms, while heavily scarred, was carrying a bag of groceries. His other was hidden within a cast, undoubtedly bearing scars of its own.
