The Widow's Peak - Six Months Later on Flickr.
Hello Friends of Vivi worldwide, near and far, Friday (Venus Day) October 18, 2013 Today, in a few more hours, there will be a lunar eclipse on the south node, a full Moon in Aries at 25 degrees (yada-yada garbly astro talk). What it just means really is that today is another new marker in time of something else coming. The last six months of time passed across a difficult spring and summer. Life brought in a change that demanded adjustment (through much pain, difficulty, complex emotional challenges). And we all know how awfully strange life can be. Events that come to take us by complete surprise are also hidden or disguised opportunities for us to learn how to adapt and grow, even if it involves our experiencing the tremendous depths of personal struggle. Being a widow for six long months has started, slowly, blending with my broken heart. It is like taking on a new identity that just simply has to be. There is no other choice. The freezing of my emotions into a locked state of shock and sadness (that is the grief of losing someone dear forever) is only just now beginning to thaw a little. Hopefully one day, these emotions will melt more fully into a softer, gentler and kinder understanding of Fate. I do trust the Universe - the SOURCE of why we are here, even though it is a mystery. Vivi has been my saving angel, my true guiding light, every day, every moment, every hour, every night, pretty much every second that I am alive. We live for one another. And she and I need each other more than I ever could imagine. Lucky to have one another. For this, I am absolutely grateful. Isn't it just so true... our beloved pets are the love of all loves that we human beings shall ever completely know with all the confidence in our hearts. Good luck to all of you in the next coming cycle. I might not be here as often anymore since life has really changed, and is about to undergo more strange change. But I will try to come back every now and then to check in with you dear loving friends. Take care. Much sweet love from the both of us, xoxo Vanessa & Vivi
