the problem with fanfiction is that theres too many coffeeshop aus and not enough aus where the characters are trapped in an alivehouse psychological horror situation or perhaps a labyrinth of sorts

I’m not sure who needs to hear this but it’s normal and okay to be DISABLED by your DISABILITY.

Sometimes it is going to stop you from doing things, and that’s okay. Sometimes it’s going to get in your way or make you struggle or cause problems in your life. But that’s okay, that’s why it’s called a disability.

You don’t need to fight yourself or “not let it hold you back” because a lot of times it will, but that’s the point.

#there are many times i can remember where my chronic pain stopped me from doing things i love #for reference i'm a dancer #(among other things but being a dancer is the most relevant) #and i have had to skip many a dance class because my knees and other joints just couldn't handle it #or because my POTS made me unable to move around #AND THAT'S OKAY #ain't nothing wrong with it #take a break when you need a break #listen to your body #and just let yourself breathe
