Introduction to the Warlocks

The Warlocks were a highly skilled group of craftspeople who used both magic and science to create the Living Space Station. Although the name Warlock is used by the inhabitants of the Station to refer to this specific group, it is actually the name of the species that the Station's warlocks belong to. They built the Station as a sanctuary for their people for when their long war eventually finished, but their people never came for it.

Warlocks, as in the species, will be referred to with a lower case w (warlocks).

The specific group of Warlocks on the Station will be referred to with an upper case W (Warlocks).

The Warlocks are all thought to have vanished from the Station in several events collectively known as the Great Abandonment. After their disappearances they faded more into myth than reality.

They each have a name in warlock (their language), however the Station inhabitants know them more commonly by their roles on the Station:

Intro

TLSS (The Living Space Station) is the current name for my story project, set in space on an ancient sentient station built by a group of magician-scientists, known as the Warlocks, who are presumed to have abandoned their creation.

Hopefully it will one day take the form of a comic/webcomic, although I want to do written stories as well as maybe animatics and music.

This is a project that I have been wanting to do for several years now, since I have always been interested in writing and drawing. This blog and the story itself are both very much works-in-progress! Information that I post here may change as I write more of it.
