A thing I really enjoy about the writing in Resident Lover is how for each route MC is subtley different.

Resident Lover MAJOR spoilers scroll now!!

It really sells the idea that Miranda has been resetting and resetting for all the variables to be just right. We always get the same baseline, interest in the arts and travel, stubborn, but it really branches out from there.

In Alcina's route we see MC's artist take over, devoting much of their time to the arts.

In Bela's route we see how stubborn MC can be refusing to be beat down by Bela with an almost foolish determination.

But I think the single most interesting varient of the MC is the one we see in Miranda's route.

Now im mostly acquainted with the good endings so there's probably some details im missing, but from what I've seen, Miranda's route is where we see MC at thier cruelest. Up until then we see MC as the one always wanting to help out always wanting to soothe others pain. But in Miranda's route? They simply don't care.

If I remember correctly they make no attempt to help Bela when she starts remembering the resets (tell me if I'm wrong it's been a bit) and probably most distinctly, when that girl is on the receiving end of Miranda's wrath, MC doesn't help her at all. Just make sure Miranda doesn't hurt herself.

Miranda's an obsessed, manipulative, apathetic bird bitch, but you can't deny that during her route MC begins to embody some of those traits as well.

They really are made for eachother :3
