I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

Reblog this to keep other users aware. Suicide isn’t a joke, and neither is someone’s life. If you didn’t know this, someone else may not, either. Pass it on.

(never really have done these, but this one just resonated me on a certain level and filled me with ideas, so I guess I’ll write them)

Looking over humanity, with its burning sin, God had become saddened at the fleeting lives gone and with the spirits who begged for one more chance on Earth. Decidedly, God created a duplicate of this modern universe just for a slight change. God knew what happens in it but was so optimistic for humanity, He hoped for the people of this copied universe.

In the next hour of this universe, the world had made a discovery that would affect them now and far into the future. Suddenly, the human figure, no matter how many blades punctured it, no matter how many bullets hit it, no matter how much blunt force it took, it would be completely fine, as if nothing had happened. Science, having been completely overturned at this point, shown that no matter how many years a person could be without food, no matter how many grams of explosives went off on it, no matter how much steel was dropped on top of it, the human person could be completely fine. There was only one way someone could die: suicide.

This finding was groundbreaking for humanity. The world basked in the light that no physical suffering could harm them. Many people used this opportunity to lead long lives and yet…

Yet people were only invincible to others’ physical injuries. When a person was stabbed, they still feel as if they were actually stabbed. When a person was shot, they still feel as if they were actually shot.

Even though the outer body was fine, the burdens of the past, the trauma of others’ touches, and the pains of being alienated, ignored, and betrayed were still very much present. You had an eternity to deal with the existence of yourself and the bruises on its conscience. The lack of love for the self could send someone over the edge.

“But,” the people said.

“You have an eternity to deal with those,” they said.

“They shouldn’t be this big as a deal when you live in a wonderful time where bullets, rockets, and explosives don’t kill you,” they said.

“You should be grateful. You’re normal. You’re only twenty in a world where people can grow to two hundred years. You wouldn’t have been like those who had chosen to die themselves because of something way back when,” they said.

“It’d help with this darn population crisis we’re having,” they said as they slapped their knees and laughed.

“But certainly, it wouldn’t be you,” they said.

God was saddened at this duplicate of Earth. There was still death going around. People still died. People still didn’t care if someone died. Even when His had given the choice of death unto humanity itself, it didn’t care. Yet God hadn’t abandoned it, just like God hadn’t abandoned this universe.

God knew this would happen and how it would. He knew every trauma that would occur for every soul. He was omniscient after all and yet…

Love determines how long you live, some people are in their hundreds, but some don’t even live to be 20.

Okay the only reason I’m STILL not over ai Turo is because I have the PERFECT HELLHOLE of an AU SPECIFICALLY designed to cause as much PAIN SUFFERING and DEHUMANIZATION as possible as well as the others around ‘em BUT the only thing I make are SILLY and WHIMSICAL and I CANNOT go deep and psychological without GAGGING at myself exactly 12 days later but I SPIRITUALLY CANNOT MOVE ON because I’ve been cooking this AU up for SO LONG (way before I’ve posted anything on here) so I CANNOT LEAVE IT WITHOUT ACTUALLY MAKING IT which I cannot do. This ultra despair pain and suffering ai Turo AU has been stuck cooking in my head and ONLY in my head because I am frustratingly incapable of writing a coherent chapter for AO3 (I’ve actually had a AO3 account before I had tumblr because I was working on and wanted to publish the mega big sad AU but after reading back on it I gagged, frew up on the carpet, and deleted it from my Notes app, never to be seen again). That TIN CAN OF METH better be feeling lucky that I have PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS because I have SO MUCH pain and pain and maybe also pain I wanna give him, write a AO3 fic about, and maybe put him in a blender idk.

SO moral of the story: I spiritually CANNOt move on from AI TURO without making the epic pain and suffering fic AU on AO3
