Hi! Could you possibly recommend some good mystery, fantasy or thriller books for a 14 yo? Also, i am IN LOVE with your blog, it’s so helpful and aesthetically appealing <33
Aw thank you! I'll leave some that I've read and some friends have recommended!
Mystery/thriller:
- One of Us is Lying, The Cousins and Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen M McManus
- A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
- Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco (can be a little graphic in terms of murders)
- Wilder Girls (also a little graphic and is more like feminist horror with a mystery element)
Fantasy:
- Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber
- Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton
- Shadow and Bone and the Grishaverse books by Leigh Bardugo
- The Infernal Devices and Shadowhunter books by Cassandra Clare
- The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson
- A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer
- The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

How can I get outta a reading slump ?
Hi! I honestly am lucky enough to not get into reading slumps often but I'll try and offer some tips that I've heard other people say and I hope that helps?
- reread a favourite
- try a new genre, or something different
- read a graphic novel, short book or middle grade (something not so daunting?)
- do a buddy read with a friend
