What Would You Do?

Imagine you’re an orphan in Grace Field (The Promised Neverland) and you find out about the secret.

How to write your own story script? How did you do that?

Writing scripts (for me) isn’t easy but it isn’t very difficult either. If you’re doing a script for an OC, you have the upper hand because no one knows your OC better than you do. However, if you’re writing an existing character (that you didn’t create), it could be harder because of all the other fan based things people write.

Analyzing

If you’re writing a character you didn’t make, you should make a layout of that character. Write down their personality traits, what they like, what they don’t like, ETC. That way, you have an idea of who they are.

2. Playing It Out

So now you want to write the script. Depending on the situation you’re putting the character in, you have to pretend that you’re the character and respond to it the way they would. Or you could dig deeper into their lore and see if they’ve went through something similar to what you’re doing to get an idea of how they’ll react.

Mugman: *crawls onto the bed on the higher bunk and lies down, sighing- suddenly he hears the door creak open, it’s Cuphead*

Cuphead: Hey, Mugsy? You awake?

Mugman: *sits up* Yeah, why?

Cuphead: I’m just… A little worried about you. Everything okay? *he climbs onto the top bunk and sits beside Mugman*

Mugman: You? Worried? About me? *chuckles nervously* I think I should be worried about you.

Cuphead: Mugsy… *holds one of Mugman’s hands* You know you can talk to me, right?

Mugman: *nods* Yeah… I know…

Cuphead: Listen, if something’s up, you can tell me. I’m your older brother and whatever it is, I’ll protect you, okay?

Mugman: What makes you think anything is wrong?

There is a small pause, showing Cuphead’s hesitation to mention an event

Cuphead: Well, I guess you kinda still make me worry about when you started crying in our room after the whole pitchfork incident..

Mugman: *starts sweating* O-Oh that? Heh, I-I just… 

Cuphead: Mugsy, you can talk to me… 

Mugman: I know, I know. It’s just… I was really scared. That’s all.
