soooo… you may have noticed that I changed Jason’s outfit. That was by accident 😔. I misunderstood his clothes and by the time I realized, I was already committed. So then I thought… what if he’s just borrowing Dick’s hoodie? So I colored it red and here he is. Wearing Dicks hoodie.

also, I tried to keep with the original style, but by the time I got to inking that was kind of out the window bc I got super pen-happy.

Oh, also also! Nobody asked but this was my Batmobile ref (I flipped it)

I gotta find a faster way of coloring— I literally traced your art and it still took me 11 hours

#That Batmobile prob took the longest #I copy pasted it so I only drew it twice #but I made a bad decision with my layers so I had to ink it all four times separately #coloring it was confusing as hell and now that I’m zoomed way out I can see how odd it looks #Guys I’m not used to drawing metal that isn’t curved #I didn’t know where to put the highlights so I just shaded it like hair 😭😭 #There’s a few other things I changed but all in all I tried to stick close to your vision #also that tire and his shoes took me awhile #Want you to know also that I sketched in bright magenta #fun fact I didn’t even ink the third panel #that one was very closely traced so the sketch was super clean and I didn’t wanna ink all those details #so I just turned it black and moved the layer up #I inked the Batmobile tho #This is probably gonna be the only page I do #Anyway y’all know that hyperfixation state where you draw for four hours straight and then suddenly you realize you’re starving and also — #have to pee super bad and you don’t even know what room to go in first? #Been awhile since I’ve been able to activate that

Whenever artist post multiple images at once and arrange them side by side on the post and the drawing turns out super tiny on the dash and the post is so small and thin sometimes i even scroll past without noticing it was some banger art it makes me want to yell pls artist stack the images on top of each other i want to see them fill my screen ur not being annoying for making people scroll thru ur art trust me

New headcacnnon: Gai is actually apart of a mlm (verging on cult) and he spent all of his jonin paychecks on the green jumpsuits (first level buy-in). He’s desperate to move up to the next level and be let in the cult, but Kakashi sees through the whole thing and fights against him trying to involves the students at every turn. Kakashi has been trying to get him out of the cult for years but Gai can only think of the 120 boxes of jumpsuits that crowd his apartment. Everyone once in a while the other jonins and students all join together and try to have an intervention. ‘This is madness’ they say, gesturing to the couch made of cardboard boxes covered with jumpsuits he’s sprawled on and the green pillows he’s made of jumpsuits. ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about’ Gai says, propping his feet up on a coffee table made of boxes full of jumpsuits. ‘Lee, don’t you agree with me?’ He asks. ‘Don’t you drag Lee any further into this!’ Sakura cries. Yamato and Sakura lead a sobbing Lee out, and Tenten stakes out his apartment and has to stop him from going back to Gai’s later. Kakashi is genuinely at his wits end until Tsuande steps in and dispatches an ANBU unit (with Kakashi pulled out of retirement, of course) to go destroy all of the jumpsuits. Yamato and Genma go and shake down the mlm contract holder, and once he agrees to let Gai free of his debt, they let Sai and Sakura run him out of town.

The mission goes perfectly and though Gai is distraught, and they can all breathe easy. Until Gai discovers essential oils 2 weeks later.

trying to do a test run of Nightshade to see what it actually makes our art look like (I'm not sure confident it'll work well on our style without a bunch of visible artifacts) and the main thing I'm learning so far is that it's a great way to very quickly heat up our laptop and that the "5 minute" render setting keeps saying its going to take anywhere from 60 to 80 minutes even with no other applications open

we initially tried to do the slowest render but after leaving it to do that for half an hour we came back and it said something like 337 minutes left so we cancelled it

Hobie Brown! Drew this for a bff's birthday last weekend and finally can post this.

First spiderverse character i drew for the first time i think? It was interesting because I was trying a new "technique" to get the messy feel of Hobie's art style, so I scanned my pencil sketch into Firealpaca to tried to make it transparent for the "lineart". You can probably see it better without the background:

Overall it was a mix of fun and pain, because on one hand I didnt have to give a shit about colouring in the lines or being clean about it, but also ARGH he has so many patches and details in his design!! I love punk style man it's just a lot!!

Either way my bestie liked it so I consider that a job well done, lol
