It is now being reported that, due to Israel shutting down all electricity to Gaza, every premature baby in Al Shifa hospital has now died. In addition to this, 43 out of 63 intensive care patients have died as oxygen in the intensive care unit has run out.

The PFLP confirms that Egypt's stance is the emblem of Arab action to stop the aggression against our people.

Egypt's position calling for a halt to the aggression against our people is the starting point for a unified Arab stance to end this aggression. The PFLP rejects all the American pressures and threats which seek the continuation of the genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

The Egyptian position has been and continues to be a safety valve for our people against the schemes of displacement and attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause. The positions arising from the meeting of the Egyptian National Security Council are important and play a positive role in stopping the genocidal war against our people. Egyptian national security is the primary axis in Arab national security, a red line that cannot be compromised, and a strength for our people in Palestine at every historical juncture of its cause.

The PFLP reiterates the need to open the Rafah crossing, which the zionist enemy still targets with raids and threats, and works to prevent the clear Egyptian decision to open the crossing and bring aid to the Gaza Strip. We affirm with confidence that Egypt has the will and the decision to help the Palestinian people.

Rallying around the Egyptian position calling for the cessation of aggression and supporting our people must be the emblem for Arab political and diplomatic action in all forums to stop the brutal genocidal war
