May 8, 2024 - Palestine Action activists rammed their truck through the fence around an Elbit Systems drone factory in Leicester, UK.

They climbed on the roof, broke holes in it and started throwing objects they broke off the building onto the sensitive high-tech equipment down below, damaging and destroying drones, parts and manufacturing equipment. Elbit Systems makes drones that Israel uses to slaughter innocent Palestinians. [video]

Columbia University under federal investigation

The Office for Civil Rights announced that Columbia University is under federal investigation for anti-Palestinian racism. Including by inviting NYPD officers in riot gear to arrest Palestinian and associated students protesting Israel's genocide in Palestine.

Less than 48 hours after Shafik, President of Columbia. Called in the NYPD, which violently arrested and brutalised dozens of the students protesting.

While the Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) looks into all complaints it receives. It only opens a formal investigation when it determines the facts warrant a deeper look.

As someone who was chased down, dragged, and then held in place by one cop and kicked by his partner all while I was screaming and crying for help and sobbing for my mother at the age of seven, yeah, fuck cops, fuck the system that allows their brutality, fuck the government that allows, incurages and promoted that fucking system.

As someone who grew up involved in protests, and unions, and movements, fuck the police, fuck the system, fuck the government.

As someone who is queer and of mixed race, poor and pro-union, as DV survivor, as a whole fucktonne of things, I say this with my whole goddamn chest:

Fuck the police, fuck isr*el, support the students, staff and community members involved in the protests, and free Palestine.

If any of you ever feel like what you're doing for Palestine isn't helping anything, I'll tell you right now it's helping me. I know it is fortifying all of us who have been in this fight for years to see so many people willing to speak up. It has never been like this before.

The tide has already turned. The fact that #free palestine will have new posts everyday, that helps me. It helps my mental health knowing that Palestinians are less alone now than ever.

Yesterday I read some verses from the Quran talking about how "the blame" is not with those who wish to help but cannot, but with those who CAN help and do not.

Truly I do not care if all you do for Palestine is post in that #free palestine everyday, that is still more than many people with the means to do even more would do.

We see you. We see you standing in solidarity with us and with Palestinians. We love you. Thank you.

Take a good look at the countries leading/have started the legal battles to hold the IOF accountable -their fights to end IOF terrorism and war crimes, as this should have been done months ago, are now beginning.

So many Palestinian people have been genocided, and the rampant global government inaction has caused chaos, death, and destruction of Gaza... I just hope this leads to a permanent ceasefire and an end to the occupation. I truly do.

Support for Palestine should be unconditional by the way. Stop looking for the ways they're just like you (ex: gay, trans, neurodivergent, etc) and support them for the sole reason that theyre literally facing a genocide right now. This is what solidarity is.
