The Faline Family.
Crest: A ship with lowered sails boasting a bright white flag. A scoll that reads “Opportunity For All” is unfurled beneath the ship. A silver sword and small musket cross like an X above the ship.
Current Residence: A smaller providence along the western coast named Provo. The Faline family oversees the country’s main export and houses the royal navy within its ports. A lively providence that is full of culture and a mixing pot/safe haven for refugees of other providences, primarily the northern providences fleeing the Red War.
Lord Artur Faline: Artur Igorovitch Faline, aged twenty-seven. Unwed. Unpromised. Healer and Teacher. Widower.
(Deceased) Lady Nadia: Nadia Sachevna Falina, aged twenty-three. Wed to Lord Artur Faline for six years before her death due to plague/illness a year ago. Mother of one daughter, Yuri (also deceased)
Lady Liliya: Liliya Igorovitch Falina, aged twenty-four. Sister to Lord Artur Faline. Unwed. Unpromised.
Above is the quick and dirty for the Faline family! They are one of the noble families within Nazadar that visit Angavda during the festival. Below is the more of an in-depth look into how their family interacts with each other and the city/country around them.

The Faline family is an old family, pushing their reign back generations. Provo has always been a safe haven for those without homes, often taking refugees from other continents and housing the weak and battered from its own lands. The Faline family has cultivated a rich culture within their providence that is open, inviting, and moving steadily toward the future where any visitor or inhabitant can have opportunities to grow.
Artur Faline has had a rough go of it for the last few years. His wife and young daughter died from the plague that swept through their providence last winter, brought on by a wayward disease from a foreign ship. It took out hundreds in their largest port city, unfortunately, including members of the noble family. Artur is a healer and an educator by trade but he was unable to save his family from the vicious disease that took them. He has grown a distaste for royal life after their passing, particularly the harsh sentences and the constant warring that their Vlarov puts the country through. Though, he is hesitant to discuss this with anyone other than his sister.
Liliya Falina is a strong-willed, stubborn woman who might just be bullish enough to enact real change within Provo. She is selfless and self-sacrificing to help those that she can or cold and dismissive to those who would stand in her way. She has a huge heart but guards it closely. Like her brother, she has a humanitarian heart but struggles to see the good that constant warring has on Nazadar. She is unwed and unpromised, a bargain she and her brother agreed to with secret terms that they do not discuss.
