Beauty and the Beast, a classic tale of finding love beyond appearance. Growing up, Gonta longed for the day where he could meet someone who loved him for him and not fear him for his appearance. Until then, he would constantly rewatch the movie on his parents’ old television set, smiling brightly as it unfolded before his very eyes. 

Then Gonta met (Y/N) (L/N) and thought maybe.. his dream wasn’t too far off.

You watched your boyfriend stare at the television screen, as the ballroom dance scene came out. Gonta was so easily fixated on the sight of Belle and the Beast dancing, it was simply adorable. 

“You really like Beauty and the Beast, don’t yah?” you asked your boyfriend with a smile. Gonta nodded absentmindedly, still staring at the television screen. You snorted a bit at his reaction, “You’re silly.”

“It’s a cinematic masterpiece!” argued your boyfriend with a huff, “Only a true fan would understand the complexity of the film.”

“A silly, silly man!” you giggled, wrapping your arms around Gonta. He huffed once more but smiled, pressing a kiss on your cheek before turning his attention back on the movie.

The gears in your mind began to turn and a light bulb went off in your mind. You had the perfect surprise in mind for your Disney loving boyfriend.

Entering your shared apartment, Gonta collapsed on the nearby couch from utter exhaustion. He had a long day at work, a bad day to be more specific. Gonta just wanted to watch his comfort movie before he could succumb to the misery.

“Gonta?” he heard you call for him from you two’s bedroom.

“Yeah?” Gonta shouted from the living room.

“Can you come over here?” you asked your boyfriend.

Not missing a beat, Gonta got up on his feet and walked to the bedroom. He slowly opened the door and stared at you in surprise.

You were wearing his yellow Ento-Con shirt, which was more of a dress on your much shorter frame. You extended a hand to the gentle giant and asked him with a smile, “Care for a dance?”

“It would be an honor,” answered Gonta, returning your smile with one of his own. You quickly grabbed your phone and the song Beauty and the Beast began to play.

Gonta laid his hands at your waist while you set yours down on his shoulders, the two of you swaying to the music. After years and years of watching the movie, Gonta knew the famous dance by heart and guided you through it with ease.

hey, do the kids from the danganronpa next gen au have their own pregame version, if so, are their personalities different? I'm also curiouse about the relationship with their parents in the pregame version

“There is no pregame in Next Gen AU”

but yeah. What I have is in mind is that parents get abducted, remove memory and forced in the killing game, which is Drv3, since their teenage selves are more vunerable. The backstories are still in tact so the whole audience and gameshow thing is a lie.

Actually, I feel like I would consider this one as a pregame drv3 (before the “not a gameshow” drv3).

Personality:

Everyone doesn’t have that drastic changes, though I’m still working on it. Hotaru was almost a completely different child though.

Relationship with parents:

Kobe and Akari’s relationship with Kaito may be a bit strained mostly because Kaito’s almost away in space. Kaito still tries his best to stay in touch and spend time with them whenever he can. Kaito would show them kickass tricks and education while floating. With Maki, they find her a bit harsh and strict but still very loving. They’d probably tell you that her self-defense classes is a form of love.

Hotaru looks up to Gonta a lot. Hotaru gets bullied a lot so Gonta is like a guardian angel. They would always go spending a lot of time together at his free days. With Hotaru’s mom, Hotaru sometimes have to remind her mom a lot of stuff since she’s stay at home working and breaking her own wrist or forgetting stuff. Bitch can’t take care of herself smh but she’s trying lol. Overall a very loving relationship.

Another loving relationship. Sakura and Kaede would often play music together. Kaede rediates mom friend energy. Sakura and Shuichi is a bit odd. Ngl, head empty for Sakura but in a decent and v cool relationship with parents.

Yoshi’s relationship with Miu and Keebo is v cool. Keebo is very blunt about Yoshi being adopted when Yoshi asked. Miu showered Yoshi with love and affection and taught him her genius ways while Keebo desperately tries to regulate. Because she 100% would. It does sometimes bothered him that he’s not the real child but in the end, he’s glad and happy.

Seiko’s parents aren’t Rantaro and Korekiyo (huhu i ship AvocadoSeesaw) but the Avocado’s nephew 😔

For a pregame au (before the “yes a gameshow” drv3), I’d probably keep their personalities in tact mostly because my brain won’t properly asnfaf. Also, I can’t find any good personality switch anyways

You hastily applied concealer to the bruises on your face. Your boyfriend would be meeting you for lunch at the cafeteria soon, you couldn’t let him see the bruises. 

“(Y/N)?” fuck, it was too late. Your boyfriend Gonta Gokuhara hovered behind you, you tensed up and stood frozen in place. Maybe he wouldn’t notice the bruises?

“(Y/N),” your boyfriend’s voice was firm, as he sidestepped and went in front of you. Gonta gently grabbed you by the chin and lifted in up, exposing the ugly purple bruises on your face. His eyes darkened at the sight, “Can you show me who did this so I can have... a small chat... with them?”

“Gonta..” you gulped, not wanting your boyfriend to get in trouble. However, you knew it would be better in the long run to reveal who had been tormenting you for the past few weeks, “It’s Kei and Tadashi from Class 2B.”

Gonta kissed your unbruised cheek, “Don’t worry, I’ll handle this.”

You feared that his handling would screw things up in the long run.

Gonta approached the classroom of Class 2B after school that day, people scurrying out of his way while he fumed with silent anger. 

He entered the classroom and found the two boys who were tormenting you, two lanky members of the school’s volleyball club. The rest of the students in the classroom immediately left at Gonta’s command. 

“Kei, Tadashi?” the two boys looked up at the mention of their names. Tadashi looked like he was gonna pee his pants at the mere sight of Gonta while Kei looked uninterested. 

“We’re gonna have a little chat.”
