You know what, I am about to become the most annoying person with relation to my fics.

Sometimes, Zane found it so easy to forget when they first went inside the temple. The corpses of Yang’s students laying around, the ghosts coming after them… Cole’s body falling limp on the floor as his soul separated from it. When they moved in he had wondered where the corpses had gone. He is not wondering anymore.

I caved in and wrote a hunted temple fic, and I am about to make it everyone else's problem. Is called "Not the Place You'd call a home and I think you all should check it out.

merry christmas to those who celebrate it and happy holidays to everyone! I haven’t posted in a hot minute so here are some more ninjago kitties for my warriors au, along with a sunwish/nadakhan redesign since I wasn’t really happy with the original design I made! I also tested out a different sort of art style for this batch just to simply branch out. I had a lot of fun designing most of these guys! Though I might go back and revamp squidswim/kalmaar. I plan on revamping more older designs as well (specifically the other mistfortunes keep kitties and krux) so be on the look out for those if you are interested! I also attached the concept doodle for sunwish’s redesign since I really like how it turned out, I may do more in the future for different characters, and maybe full on scenes of stuff from this au! Out of all of these guys I really like ray/brightray and maya/wavedance’s designs the most, they were so much fun to work with! maybe an upcoming pmv relating to them who knows…..

Anyway, once more, I hope you all like these design! And have a fantastic end of the year

Yang in the dc au is… complicated at best. he took Cole in because there was this extremely powerful meta who just died and no one is looking for him. and there was going to be an opportunity to play with necromancy soon, so he took the chance and sent Cole through the rift. his original intention was to get himself a highly trained and obedient attack dog, for lack of a better word. he didn’t really ‘care’ about Cole much in the beginning, but over time he did get attached to him, which is why he let Cole go back to ninjago city.

In Yin-Yang proposal it's always the person asking their partner to be their yang regardless of gender or any other factors,because it's asking to not only be their second half,but their better half(yang means good).

Another ninjago au idea I've had for a bit so uhh because I love Morro: day of the departed au where Morro ends up as the new master of the temple of airjitzu instead of Yang staying there. So Morro redemption (I mean at that point he's already kinda redeemed?) But anyways he's there haunting the temple and everyone knows it and they all interact with each other. ALSO because I think it would be funny - Yang, who would be human again since he doesn't have to stay behind in the temple this time? Decides to stick around as a "mentor" to the ninja (his words).

So you've got the Ninja currently living at the temple.

Morro haunting the place and just kinda hanging out. Meanwhile I think the ninja would be trying to find a way to make him human again? Or at the vary least try to break the curse so that he can exist outside of the temple.

And Yang who refuses to leave and keeps trying to "impart his wisdom" on the ninja. And is also not being very helpful when it comes to trying to free Morro.

I think the reason why Kai and Cole had such a radical emotional change after March of the Oni was because Lloyd died

We’ve had plenty of characters die in Ninjago, and it always had a horrific affect on the ninja emotionally. Despite all their adventures and godlike powers they’re still older teenagers and young adults- of course when their sibling or lover dies in the fight they’re gonna want to avoid the fight itself

I think it was different for Lloyd tho- Lloyd despite losing the golden power is still the most powerful ninja. He’s not meant to lose, out of all of the ninja he’s the one who’s least likely to die and I think they know that.

So when he died facing down the Oni, even briefly, that would make the ninja doubtful and even afraid of their own mortality-

Kai’s hotheadedness and desire for the fury of battle dies when he see’s his little brother unresponsive on the floor. If he can die, so can Kai

Coles stubborn facade and die hard attitude gets a reality check when the kid who defeated the incarnate of evil lies dead in front of him

It would just be a reality check for them. Both have had to look death in the eyes many times before, but experiencing death is something that they themselves wouldn’t often think about.

Just a theory
