George Clifford (1558–1605) was appointed Queen’s Champion in 1590 and was made a Knight of the Garter two years later. A favorite of Queen Elizabeth I (reigned 1558–1603), he chose for the decoration of this armor the Tudor rose, the French fleur-de-lis (then part of the English arms), and the cipher of Elizabeth, two E’s back to back.

The Cumberland armor is the best preserved armor garniture from the royal workshops at Greenwich. It represents a technical and decorative high point of the Greenwich school.

This colossal sphinx portrays the female pharaoh Hatshepsut with the body of a lion and a human head wearing a nemes–headcloth and false beard. The sculptor has carefully observed the powerful muscles of the lion as contrasted to the handsome, idealized face of the pharaoh. It was one of at least six granite sphinxes that stood in Hatshepsut's mortuary temple at Deir el-Bahri.

The newest member of the Batsquad is also the deadliest. But having killed once, she will never take a life again. The girl who would be Batgirl was raised by birth by Cain, one of the world's deadliest assassins, to become his assistant and, eventually, his successor. Cain never taught the girl to speak, believing that violence was language enough for the life she would lead. On her "graduation day" Cain assigned her to perform a hit. The nine-year-old murdered like a professional, but she was hardly stone cold. Rather, the girl was so repulsed by her actions that she fled her Master. Then, at a time in her life when other girls her age were feeling their first crushes and celebrating sweet sixteens, the girl was wandering the backstreets of the world, eventually arriving in the best hiding place on Earth, Gotham City. Oracle, the former Batgirl, recognized the enigmatic street urchin's unique abilities and recruited the girl to be one of her eyes and ears in No Man's Land. Oracle vouched for the girl when Batman needed to fill out the ranks of the Batsquad, and the girl was anointed the new Batgirl. She already wears the mantle of the Bat like a second skin, but her first skin, that of an innocent teenage girl, will long feel alien.

Feeling like a heifer. Idk who else struggles like this but here goes.....

I came back to edblr bc I was gaining a lot and fast. Then I was like all ana and dropped 10 lbs quick. Great. Loved it. Wanted more. Made the proclamations of what I was going to do. Did now of that but binged and started a horrible shame cycle. Also the short 5 week period made me anemic. To were my cheeks would hurt really bad. So now I'm all conflicted. I want to loose wt. But I don't want my health to suffer. So I'm really trying to eat 3 small meals a day to maintain my health. But I am finding I am over eating eating more often then not. This is were realistic fasting helps me. Bc if it's not too long of a fast I don't binge and my eating window is small so I don't eat as much but then I get the health problems. But I am getting health problems from being over wt too. Like sob and god only knows what else I can't see. It's a yo yo of insanity. I don't even know if any of this makes sense. I just miss my ortho but something gets in the way of me wanting to eat healthy and take care of myself. I think I know what it is but I guess time will tell.

Dusty was young.

About 4 years old. And Grandma had been a college professor previously. But when the Petiole's obtained custody of their grandchildren, she stopped teaching and stayed home.

About a year later Grandma Petal (Petal's middle name comes from her grandma), got a call from her long-time friend - Grandma Bougainvillea, who explained the situation with Birdie.

Grandma Petal told Grandma Bougainvillea that it would be an honor to tutor Birdie, so long as she could tutor Dusty right alongside her.

The Bougainvillea's agreed, and Grandma Petal became the full-time teacher in the Bougainvillea household.

She's sassy, witty, and a certified genius. Got into Julliard on a full scholarship.  This was where she met Drese, and the two became super close. The girls worked together at the local bar-restaurant. Drese was the reason Dusty took up kickboxing. The girls were cornered by a group of uncouth men - this was one of Drese's *moments*. She killed the group of men trying to abduct them in order to save her and Dusty.

After that she made Dusty choose a form of fighting, so she wouldn't have to worry about her walking home at night when Drese wasn't working the same shift. (It was rare, but it did happen).

She currently lives in the city and shares an apartment with Petal, much to Petal's chagrin. Dusty is insistent on staying with Petal since <the abduction incident> and won't be leaving her side anytime soon. She protects her older sister at all costs.
