🍁 Where does your OC go when they need to have some time to themself? Would they ever have their own “comfort corner” filled with all the things they like? Do they have a favourite spot outside that feels like its theirs and theirs alone?

Deidre kind of has two places, depending on where in the story we are. She has an apartment in the Lavender Beds that she got before the end of 2.0, where she goes initially to avoid the Scions, but later it's also an alternative plan when she doesn't want to encounter anyone; she and Alisaie go there rather than Fortemps Manor after they find out Caelen got called like the other scions. Her other place is her room at Fortemps Manor, which she frequents more often. Even after the scions began to focus on the Ala Mhigan resistance, the household never really. Turned it back into a guest room, they just stopped thinking of it as one. And then she's adopted so it Stays her room. As for an outdoor place she has a greenhouse on the manor grounds where she's trying to breed hardier decorative plants for Ishgard's new climate. A certain someone deserves to rest in a garden.

🌺 What does your OC do to calm down when they’re scared or after a nightmare? Do they have any special comfort items or need to be reassured by a specific person? How do they handle this if they’re alone?

Deidre is unfortunately skilled at pushing down and ignoring her emotions, especially 'negative' ones like fear. Being afraid isn't productive for her, being scared won't make them stop calling her the warrior of light, feeling it doesn't change anything so she doesn't take the time to. Once they are further along in their relationship and share a bed regularly, Alisaie will hold and reassure her if she wakes up, and try to get her to face her emotions instead. She does also have a comfort item. She has a stuffed Chocobo that Sid and Rielle got her while she was recovering from the final steps of faith. She's yellow and her name is Tulip.

🌼 Who are this characters friends and found family? How did they meet, how long have they been friends for, could they ever be something more than just friends? What do they look for in a friend or a romantic partner?

Found family: the Fortemps, Sid and Rielle, E-Sumi-Yan and Sylphie, Alphinaud (slowburn, ends in siblings-in-law^2), Estinien, the Chais, Feo Ul, X'rhun and Arya, Ryne [fucked up and cursed edition: emet selch, lahabrea]

Friends: Arenvald (met when he began assisting her in primal fights during the 2.x patches), Aymeric, Yugiri, Lyse, Ysayle, all 5.0 role quest npcs, Ardbert, MCH crew, Francel, Lucia, A-Towa-Cant, Esteem [fucked up and evil edition: Zenos after 4th LW, and to a lesser degree from 4.1 on, Fordola]

Everyone but Arenvald follows canon meeting conditions. There are several characters who would consider her a friend that by her own standards she does not consider herself close to, and also some characters who see her as a younger sister figure that are similarly missing. Alisaie is a different tier because they are dating.

She tends to be friends with the people who fight by her side, rather than assuming she can handle everything for them herself due to her title and achievements. Those who call her her name, people who discuss things other than primals and politics with her. Most other people are more. Work associates. Than friends.

She was never really Looking for a romantic partner, but she has had several crushes and is ultimately in a relationship with Alisaie after Esteem makes her bite the bullet in Doma and get her feelings out there. Specific traits all her interests tend to have in common are dependability, an energetic nature, and no-nonsense ways of dealings with things. She likes that Alisaie is hard working and sticks to her guns, even if their respective stubbornness clashes horribly when they're of different minds about something important (stubborn hope vs. preparing for the light to turn her). Alisaie is also very expressive of her emotions, which is something Deidre needs help with.

🌠 On a scale of 1 - 10 how Baby is your OC?

Asdfghkjkl parentalized eldest daughter doesn't get to be baby DX. Over all she's about a 2. Haurchefant and Thancred, who have seen and helped to some degrees her recover from various illness/injury, would put her at like a 5. Lahabrea puts her at a 7 (derogatory) she's so fucking stupid.

Tangerine, aka Deidre but an orange cat (courtesy of Feo Ul's shape shifting gift) is full 10/10 baby time.
