Story Mode is respectful to the original game by expandingit, but not compromising Minecraft's existing items and gameplay.

The pace is slow at first however, once the Endercon building competition ends, the plot kicks into a much higher gear. Telltale introduces the Order of the Stone, the heroes of the Order of the Stone who once defeated the Ender Dragon but then disappeared into legend. They are the ones responsible for the current peril that is threatening the world. Telltale sets up a few of the major mysteries for the five-part series. The show isn't anything extraordinary however, I'm intrigued enough to watch the remaining episodes.

Story Mode is designed to be a family-friendly. There are limitations to the writing and Telltale's capacity to use its cheerful characters. Other properties it has adapted in the past, like The Walking Dead and Fables (The Wolf Among Us) have given the team more chances to create characters that are darker and more unpredictable with clever strategies. These properties trigger more intense reactions from the player, making more difficult choices and more complex relationships with the characters you pick. The history of Solarpunk

Okay, I guess this has to be said, because the people will always claim the same wrong thing: No, Solarpunk did not "start out as an aesthetic". Jesus, where the hell does this claim even come from? Like, honestly, I am asking.

Solarpunk started out as a genre, that yes, did also include design elements, but also literary elements. A vaguely defined literary genre, but a genre never the less.

And I am not even talking about those early books that we today also claim under the Solarpunk umbrella. So, no, I am not talking about Ursula K. LeGuin, even though she definitely was a big influence on the genre.

The actual history of Solarpunk goes something like that: In the late 1990s and early 2000s the term "Ecopunk" was coined, which was used to refer to books that kinda fit into the Cyberpunk genre umbrella, but were more focused on ecological themes. This was less focused on the "high tech, high life" mantra that Solarpunk ended up with, but it was SciFi stories, that were focused on people interacting with the environment. Often set to a backdrop of environmental apocalypse. Now, other than Solarpunk just a bit later, this genre never got that well defined (especially with Solarpunk kinda taking over the role). As such there is only a handful of things that ever officially called themselves Ecopunk.

At the same time, though, the same sort of thought was picked up in the Brazilian science fiction scene, where the idea was further developed. Both artistically, where it got a lot of influence from the Amazofuturism movement, but also as an ideology. In this there were the ideas from Ecopunk as the "scifi in the ecological collaps" in there, but also the idea of "scifi with technology that allows us to live within the changing world/allows us to live more in harmony with nature".

Now, we do not really know who came up with the idea of naming this "Solarpunk". From all I can find the earliest mention of the term "Solarpunk" that is still online today is in this article from the Blog Republic of Bees. But given the way the blogger talks about it, it is clear there was some vague definition of the genre before it.

These days it is kinda argued about whether that title originally arose in Brazil or in the Anglosphere. But it seems very likely that the term was coined between 2006 and 2008, coming either out of the Brazilian movement around Ecopunk or out of the English Steampunk movement (specifically the literary branch of the Steampunk genre).

In the following years it was thrown around for a bit (there is an archived Wired article from 2009, that mentions the term once, as well as one other article), but for the moment there was not a lot happening in this regard.

Until 2012, when the Brazilian Solarpunk movement really started to bloom and at the same time in Italy Commando Jugendstil made their appearance. In 2012 in Brazil the anthology "Solarpunk: Histórias ecológicas e fantásticas em um mundo sustentável" was released (that did get an English translation not too long ago) establishing some groundwork for the genre. And Commando Jugendstil, who describe themselves as both a "Communication Project" and an "Art Movement", started to work on Solarpunk in Italy. Now, Commando Jugendstil is a bit more complicated than just one or the other. As they very much were a big influence on some of the aesthetic concepts, but also were releasing short stories and did some actual punky political action within Italy.

And all of that was happening in 2012, where the term really started to take off.

And only after this, in 2014, Solarpunk became this aesthetic we know today, when a (now defuct) tumblr blog started posting photos, artworks and other aesthetical things under the caption of Solarpunk. Especially as it was the first time the term was widely used within the Anglosphere.

Undoubtedly: This was probably how most people first learned of Solarpunk... But it was not how Solarpunk started. So, please stop spreading that myth.

The reason this bothers me so much is, that it so widely ignores how this movement definitely has its roots within Latin America and specifically Brazil. Instead this myth basically tries to claim Solarpunk as a thing that fully and completely originated within the anglosphere. Which is just is not.

And yes, there was artistic aspects to that early Solarpunk movement, too. But also a literary and political aspectt. That is not something that was put onto a term that was originally an aesthetic - but rather it was something that was there from the very beginning.

Again: There has been an artistic and aesthetic aspect in Solarpunk from the very beginning, yes. But there has been a literary and political aspect in it the entire time, too. And trying to divorce Solarpunk from those things is just wrong and also... kinda misses the point.

So, please. Just stop claiming that entire "it has been an aesthetic first" thing. Solarpunk is a genre of fiction, it is a political movement, just as much as it is an artistic movement. Always has been. And there has always been punk in it. So, please, stop acting as if Solarpunk is just "pretty artistic vibes". It is not.

Part of the reason he’s so thin is because he gets so busy he forgets to eat a lot of the time.

If food was prepared for him, especially by someone special to him, he would make a point to eat it because he would never disrespect their gift like that.

He especially likes it when they deliver bentos to him at work. Though he gets flustered, Shuhei likes others to see him getting attention and it gives them a chance to have lunch together.

His favorite treat is black & white cookies. A human world treat from overseas, he likes the duality of the colors as it represents light & dark in the world. Plus he can break it in half easy and share with s/o.

Ichigo

He really likes it.

That cute, couple-y junk used to embarrass Ichigo before his life was turned upside-down. Now he’s just happy to have some normal teenage milestones happen to him.

He appreciates the work that they put into it; even if it’s good or bad.

If s/o and Yuzu both make him a bento on the same day, Ichigo will eat both. He doesn’t want to hurt either of their feelings.

He’s not the best good, but he tries to use what little cash he gets from allowance & part-time jobs to buy them prepackaged cakes or sweets in return.

So, I had a dream that I fully credit to reading your blog Ray. AN there is the mention of a letter mistaken as a suicide note.

Fem!Ichigo is Chuuya’s mother and Urahara is his father. The story goes like this:

Ichigo has been abandoned by everyone during those long, awful 17 months. During a festival she gets drunk and comes across a drunk Urahara and they end up sleeping together at the Shoten. Ichigo wakes up first, cleans up, and leaves. When Urahara wakes up with a truly horrible hangover he thinks he had another of those dreams, you know, since he’s a dirty old man, and precedes to go back to his lab.

Ichigo after a truly horrible fight with her sperm donor, decides that she’s going to graduate early and move out. This later causes a big fight between the sisters, horrible things are said, and Ichigo leaves in the middle of the night to a hotel.

After this fight she finds out that she’s pregnant. She worries about what the shinigami might do to her baby, she’s not stupid she knows she might have ended up in a cell next to Aizen if she hadn’t lost her powers, and decides she has to leave. It breaks her heart to leave her sisters but they have Goat Face and he would never let anything happen to them, they’re the children he wanted not the weapon he had to have, and her baby only has her. She’s leaves them and letter sneaks into the house to get some of Masaki’s things and leaves.

The letter when found cause mass panic because it could come across as a suicide note so everyone gathers to search for Ichigo but she’s long gone. SS is alerted and everyone loses their minds. It also comes out the Isshin is Ichigo’s father and that just adds to the chaos. Evidently Isshin is Yamamoto’s grandson through Kyoraku. (Yamamoto is Kyoraku’s father but he has his mothers name, not sure why my subconscious didn’t enlighten me on that. Kyoraku and Ukitake are together, have been for centuries, but every once in a while like to add a third to spice things up. The added Isshin’s Shiba mother, who was clan head and Kaien’s grandmother, and nine months later here came Isshin.) Anyway, C46 does something(again my subconscious didn’t enlighten me) and Yamamoto decided that they have outlived their usefulness and they are all killed and C46 disbanded.

Meanwhile Ichigo makes her way to Yokohama, goes through her mother’s things and finds out she was a Quincy. This just reinforces the idea of her leaving and no contact being the right choice. Her pregnancy kicks starts her powers to return and eventually darling baby Chuuya is born.

Ichigo and her spirts are all untied when it comes to protecting the baby and she trains like a maniac and becomes C46’s worst nightmare(if y’know they were still alive).

Things start to get blurry here. I know the Quincy’s come and she kills Yhwach and all his horrible plans come out and many Sternritters turn on his and name her the Quincy Queen(Ishida was not involved yet). She releases Harribel and gets her back to Los Noches and meets up with the other living arrancar. The Quincies(sp?) eventually end up helping rebuild Los Noches as war reparations. Ichigo, the quincies, and the arrancar all eventually end up becoming friends. SS is none the wiser.

SS does eventually get a clue about Yhawch and decide cutting off the 3 world from each other is the best thing to do. So the Kurosakis, Karakura Gang, Shoten Crew, and remaining Visored all end up living in SS so they can eventually face the Quincy threat. As fate would have it the Quincies and Arrancar end up stuck in Hueco Mundo while Ichigo and Chuuya are in the Yokohama. Fast forward a few years and Ichigo is in an accident protecting Chuuya and then Chuuya ends up on the streets. Things proceed as canon from there. Chuuya vaguely remembers Ichigo but not enough to seek her out. Proceeds as canon from there.

Hueco Mundo and SS eventually make contact and everything comes out. Urahara goes nuclear(he’s kind of Yandere here) and immediately goes to find Ichigo and his son. Because they’re his and he refuses to be separated for a moment more that necessary. Yamamoto approves of a marriage between them because he wants all of his family back in SS and everyone else agrees they want her back in SS because they thought she was dead for over a decade. So Ichigo would be forced back regardless of her wishes. They eventually find her while she’s still in her coma but no Chuuya. This sets Urahara off because, his son, his baby, who he never even got the chance to meet is missing. My dream ended with Urahara unleashing himself on Yokohama to find his missing son.

I woke up with the thought that evidently mother and son have the same taste in men and that I wanted to see what overprotective assassin daddy Urahara would do to the people that abandoned or hurt his son. It would be glorious, horribly bloody but glorious. Chuuya deserves good things in life and as much as I love Dazai I’ve always been of the opinion he could do with being out maneuvered sometimes. In this case by Urahara.

I need you to write this out. I need it desperately. This is beyond fantastic I swear to all the gods

You really have an interesting blog and I really enjoy the cultural tidbits you weave in. I have to say though that the constant focus on Mordor is a bit much. I get that certain topics require to reference them, but it feels at times that you are just a Mordor monitoring/call-out blog. Maybe that's your goal and I just had different expectations, then I apologize for "criticizing" your content. Others, including in this shipper community, have been way more virulent, publicly and privately questioning my identity, my gender, my nationality, my integrity, my career. I have heard just about it ALL.

i got into bleach a little late, so by the time i was watching the hueco mundo arc, the manga had just about wrapped up the fullbring arc. BUT, i was binge-watching so many episodes a day that i ended up catching up to where the manga was a lot faster than i had anticipated 💀 the reason i mentioned this is because the way i binge-watched the series really affected my perception of the pacing, where yammy's attack and orihime saying goodbye to ichigo all happened within like. 2-5 days of each other in real time, just like in the anime. i remember going from not really paying attention to orihime all that much to having her be my favorite character overnight, simply because her lack of self-worth and her insecurities really resonated with me! i kind of had a gut feeling that ichihime would be canon when orihime had that talk with rangiku, but the moment i became really hyped about the ship was during goodbye halcyon days! orihime's speech really floored me, i replayed it like 100x times, i watched 100 AMVs of it, and i was excited to see ichigo go feral when he finally heard the news about her kidnapping, because that's like. a classic romance trope, right? one character not realizing how much the other cares about them? and then the other character proving them wrong in really dramatic ways? my brain had kind of divided the arc into two parts - a) orihime's confession and b) ichigo's response, so i did guess that they would get a lot of moments from here on, but boy i did not anticipate just how many moments that would be. bleach until that point had mostly just been about the plot for me, but that's when i started caring about the ship.

it was around this time that i got curious and went online to see if ichigo and orihime would have any more moments (i was so excited about the possibilities that i didn't mind seeing spoilers) and that's when i saw a clip of the infamous tower scene on youtube and i was like....wow....are you joking rn....is this for real....and then i continued watching the anime and i was like....it is for real and it's actually sooooo insane? my best friend at the time had told me to stop watching bleach after the arrancar arc ends because it gets really bad after, but i wanted to know where ichigo and orihime's relationship was going to go from here (after lust arc). i didn't have a tumblr account at the time but i did lurk around a lot of blogs for other fandoms (this was back when you could take a look at any blog without having to sign up), and that's when i realized that a) the manga was ongoing and i could read that and b) the manga had a lot more moments from earlier arcs that i had either completely glossed over or the anime itself had cut. as you can imagine, this delighted me, who casually shipped ichi/ishi because they were funny together but had no stakes in canon romances. i wanted to see ichihime grow, i'd become very fond of them almost overnight, and in the in-between periods where i waited for the manga to update, i read a lot of fanfic on fanfic dot net and began following people who liked the ship, but i was too scared to post/interact with anyone because the fandom was very different pre-2016 and i was scared of being bullied for liking ichihime lol.
