I’m KIDDING but I stand by the fact that he’s more of a show than tell type of guy. He has a really, really hard time verbalizing everything that he feels, so I think the person he loves would ideally have to keep that in mind. He’s lowkey but very classy, imo. Gets surprise flowers every once in a while, buys groceries after work all the time if she needs things at home, always reliable with taking care of their finances (and in general). I feel like the thing about Theodorus is that he’s the quiet romantic; he won’t smooth talk or endlessly go on about love, but when she needs him? He’s there. Come hell or high water. When things are hard, when things feel impossible, when life just feels like one slap in the face after another–he’s warm and there and steady, leading her by the hand.

yeah! in tvrn worldbuilding, shapeshifting that Feels Natural/Right -- including any shifting that’s gender euphoric -- is pretty much effortless, so for example a transmasc vampire who feels much better + more like himself when flatchested would be able to shapeshift his breasts away without it being a constant drain of energy. (vs for example like turning urself into a bat takes energy and concentration and u can’t do it indefinitely). the way ur body is when ur turned is kind of the “template” your undead body will return to when parts regenerate/etc so if a vampire didn’t want to fuss w shapeshifting they could either get gender affirming surgery before being turned, so that that would be the “template,” or afterwards they could get surgery done w silver implements bc in tvrn worldbuilding injuries made w silver (so in this case not “injuries” but just changes) don’t regenerate.

while it hasn’t come up in canon yet (i’d like it to eventually bc i like stuff like this to be textual, not just Bonus Material), minmin is an example of a vampire who has decided shapeshifting is enough, while teddy was turned before gender affirming surgery was a thing and decided to get top surgery later. sirloin was on hormones before being turned and those changes are now permanent, and she tweaks the rest of her presentation to what’s comfortable for her with shapeshifting.

How to close SEO contracts

First off, having a process to follow makes things so much easier. With that in mind, I've curated this from my previous job (selling advertising) to having this work with cold calling & cold emailing. You've gotta start somewhere so hopefully this helps. 2 things to keep in mind... people buy to either get away from pain OR move towards pleasure. In other words, it emotional. People buy on emotion and back it up with logic/numbers. To start, you have to find projects. This is prospecting, the most important part when starting. Assuming you know how to provide great SEO and how how handle a project. So when prospecting, look for websites with very high branded content. So the company name would be ~70% of their traffic with the other traffic sources being the services/product they offer. I prefer SEMrush BUT either, way have a tool that helps and this comes in handy later. Send a cold email to the CEO of the company saying that you've noticed the website is targeting the wrong keywords and that you've run a 'data pull' on the website showing this. BUT... are you the right person to send this to? If they respond yes, take a screengrab of the SEMrush data and send it with a quick breakdown of the keywords. While doing this for the first time, create a template you can use so this is scalable to send to 200+ emails a day. While explaining in the email, point out technical deficiencies that are costing loss of rankings/sales to their competitors. This will get AND keep their attention. At the bottom of the email, ask a few questions; how is the website monitored? Are conversions setup? What about content etc. From there, when they answer, you know they're interested and you've already communicated your experience & expertise in SEO. Baller. Now you pin them down. Ask them to hop on a Zoom call and you'll walk them thru how to fix those issues (keywords/ranking opportunities etc) AND you'll also look at one of their competitors. This is basically a kick in the nuts. Because you've demonstrated issues on their site and that you have the tools and knowledge of how to fix them, AND looking at one of their competitor's data, you now have their attention. From here, have a Calendly link linked to your Zoom account and on the front end of the Calendly link, make them answer 10 questions in order to book a time with you. They should be: who are they what is their title what is their cell # what is their company what is their website what is their current monthly ad spend what are 3 keywords they would (ideally) like to rank for what is their timing for wanting services name one competitor for demonstration purposes have they performed SEO and/or worked with an agency in the past This then pre qualifies them to talk to you. And that's gangster af. You now have leverage. With that in mind, you can make sure you are talking to the CEO of the company, have a sense of their monthly budget, run stats on their website ahead of time to make points on AND know what keywords they would like to rank for. When the time for the Zoom call arrives, you should have done the research on the above data and have everything ready. Part1. Start the conversation by asking questions. Ask good questions. "Can you tell me about the business?" "Can you tell me about the previous agency you worked with" "What was the overall experience like?" "What's the problem in the website from your POV?" "What could be improved?" "Exactly what kind of expertise do you need?" Now it's your turn. Part 2. Share your screen and show & breakdown the vital stats on their site with SEMrush and compare that to a competitor... ideally a competitor that is bringing in more traffic. When they ask why, show the competitor's keywords that they're targeting and how it works. Show your process for SEO like keyword research/content etc. Breakdown the keywords they submitted from the Calendly link to show your process for research and what everything entails. The idea here is that you're demonstrating that you are the expert and you've done this before so you aren't experimenting on their site. This in turn builds trust. Use what they've told you from your questions part as part of your presentation so that not only are you bringing more targeted traffic for conversions/sales BUT you're also solving their problems. Every prospect you talk to will be different and have different points they want to discuss so have this process as an outline to always stay in control of the conversation. That's the key. You want to be in the driver's seat with both hands on the wheel so that when they try and throw you a curveball or objection ("so what kind of results has your agency produced in the past??") you're 2 steps ahead. Thus, those objections don't even come up and the deal closes. Once you've demonstrated your process for results AND results you've got from another client, then comes the pricing. And the prospect usually brings it up first. "Ok, let's get to the pricing, how does engagement work?" First ask, "can you see how this strategy makes sense and yields results?" That is a trial close and they always say "yes" when a demonstration is performed correctly. They literally can't say "no" because you've just shown them how to perform SEO & the results you've got for another client. Now pricing. You should have 3 price points, this is called price anchoring. The middle option is usually the most popular because the 'low tier' option is for pigeons and the 'high tier' option is too much $$. Great. At this point, when you show them pricing, say "it's a matter of how fast you want to see results AND what your monthly budget is". Wait for them to take in the 3 price options and they'll speak first. They always do. "What does the middle option include?" then go into how the difference in the 3 different packages is the time spent on their website. The larger the package, the more time you/your team can spend on it. DO NOT PRICE WITH H1/Meta descriptions/Title tag optimization. That makes you look like a commodity. You're an expert so the packages are custom tailored. Just like a personal trainer's approach is tailored, yours is too. Then ask them, "would you like our help with this". In some form, you have to ask for the business if they haven't already closed themselves already. If they object, it's usually $$$. BUT, if you're talking to the CEO, they can make it work if they really want to work with you. So always talk to the CEO. If the CEO truly cannot afford your services, you're talking to the wrong companies (no budget) and need to work on your prospecting. Good day to you, I am J. Lucien Felswift. If you have been assign to read this, that means you are of sufficient rank to conduct interviews and partake in other various recruitment initiatives.

Upon Blight General Rouille's request, I will instruct you on The Art of Branch 27-B Interviews.

Before we begin, I will now take this time to direct you to the Apothecarium Archives. There you will find the following files:

Those files were compiled by Master Apothecary Emerita Ariietta Frostwalker a long, long time ago. It has been quite some time since the Frostwalker administration presided over this branch; however, in my professional opinion, the Standard Interview Protocol of that period still serves as an ideal beginner's guide.

Now that you have read through and achieved at least basic, or even proficient, knowledge of Lady Frostwalker's Standard Interview Protocol, I will share with you all my additions and modifications to them. You see, I was around back in the days of Lady Frostwalker, and served as a High Apothecary as well as the Head of Research and Development in the administrations of her two direct successors: Master Apothecary Emeriti Seita Gray and Sarah Matthews. In time, I achieved mastery over the Standard Interview Protocol.

Interviewing, much like Alchemy itself, is an Art with some scientific rigor to it. Now let us apply scientific rigor to the following hypothetical example.

Interviewer: Greetings, I am Lord Apothecary William M. D. Bilebergh of Branch 40-C of the Royal Apothecary Society. Your name, please?

Interviewee: Octavio.

Aside from the facts known about Branch 40-C, and the titles of little relevance to us nowadays in Branch 27-B such as Lord Apothecary; High Executor; Executor; and Dreadguard, what went wrong here?

The most glaring mistake was how Lord Apothecary Bilebergh did not seem invested in the interview process. Rather than viewing it as an opportunity to bolster his branch's ranks, he regarded it as nothing more than a chore best done quickly.
