Game day….

No Justin, no Keenan either.

I will be eagle eyeing the sidelines, I guess.

My main thing for these final games of the season will be to see how the offense operates without Herbert and pay way more attention to the play calling / situational awareness of the coach staff. How much dysfunction was Justin covering up? Herbert is such an accurate & efficient QB but he was still only able to pull off 5 wins out of 14 games with Kellen as OC. Offense is either completely broken and can’t score a single TD or puts up 40 points while the defense… basically stops existing. So, how does it look with a significantly less talented QB in Kellen Moore’s care? (No offense to Easton Stick but he’s QB2 for a reason 😅)

Update Post - Week 15, February 1, 2023

I... totally forgot about the update post until now! I've been so engrossed 😭

Just wanted to give some amazing and exciting news about the IF so far!!

Writing and writing! It's been a bit hectic this week because a lot of work piled up again, but I'm taking things one step at a time and making sure I have time for fun! That fun includes writing. I've written about another 2k words!

Testing! I've had a friend read through because I've reached a milestone in the WIP where the cracks are starting to show. Everything has been setting itself up, but the conflict is rearing its ugly head around, and by the end of Chapter 1, it will have introduced itself by name. From my friend's thorough reading, I've made numerous quality edits.

Art! My extremely talented partner indulged me in an idea I've been dreaming about. As I stated before, the MC can choose a couple of skills. These skills will determine the title they're given. Each skill is represented by an icon, again drawn by my lovely partner!

And when you have an expertise that is relevant or comes into play, you will know it when that icon pops up:

These will provide not only alternative flavor text, but in the future, alternative choices.

As of present, I am in the middle of writing the next RO's introductory scene, and while I have much to work on as far as having better prose, I am glad progress is being made!

I hope these all come as a reassurance that this WIP is definitely in the works, and I am still passionate through it! Please continue to support me, and thank you for your patience ❤️

What I am Proud of

I can confidently say that I am proud of my writing process, which is likely because I've been able to perfect it over my many years of schooling. Specifically, I am proud of the steps that I take in order to write:

Read through assignment directions and requirements until I have an accurate and strong understanding of the expectation

Begin brainstorming and making decisions about how I want to tackle the assignment/organize my writing to best answer the assignment

Start at the beginning of the assignment (introduction) and create an outline for the following parts

Proceed by moving down the outline and completing the parts of the assignment in order, ending with the conclusion

Review my writing and fix any mistakes that stand out to me

Use peer review or professor feedback to fix parts that did not stand out to me

Use assignment requirements and rubric to check that I included all necessary parts

Personally, this process works really well for me and I'm proud of how I use it to do my best on assignments!
