I've seen the Wedgwood Barbies before, but I actually didn't know what Wedgwood was. To be honest, I had a vague idea that it was a fashion designer.
Wedgwood is actually a china, porcelain and "luxury accessories" brand. The cameo that each of the Wedgwood Barbies wears at her throat is apparently a genuine Wedgwood accessory.
The Barbies really are beautiful designs, some of designer Robert Best's great work. (I wouldn't say best work - both to avoid the pun and because Best has done so many greats that I would be here all day if I tried to establish which were the best, and my rating would change again between writing this and it going live from the queue.)
so I was out shopping for a Wedgwood bud vase (vase for a single flower stem) and my brain kept saying "Wedgwood Bud Vase" to the tune of the Spongebob theme and I
WHAAAAAAAAT comes in pale blue and in black and in green?
WEDGWOOD BUD VASE!
Though dark blue and mauve are occasionally seen!
WEDGWOOD BUD VASE!
If delicate blossoms should be your delight,
WEDGWOOD BUD VASE!
Then take yourself thrifting to show them off right!
At the end of Xiao Zhan's WEDGWOOD live broadcast, "I wish everyone happy every year and everything goes well. I wish our parents are happy and at ease. I wish everyone a happy new year~"
Inspired by Josef Wedgwood's iconic jasperware, created over 250 years ago, this new scarf (and matching twilly) merge historic rococo embellishments with modern children's stories to create a fantastical, whimsical scene:
A princess in her royal carriage, escorted by geese in a grand jubilee procession.
I have an entire spreadsheet of details and hidden surprises that will be worked into this design; in hopes of release just in time for Jubilee season!
