The fourth the shiny of scarlet is on my french save this time!! Thankfully it's not the first shiny of the game like it was with brilliant diamond lol...
I started a French save on scarlet to help others with masdua method so I'm playing through to get ditto raids going.
Not long after I left the Mesagoza, I passed by a flock of mareep and ONE OF THEM WAS SHINY!!!
Since it's in french I will translate:
Wattouat: Mareep
Electrick: Electric
Statik: Static
It's nature is Hasty and the 3 moves in french are Growl, Thunder wave and thunder shock.
Some more random fan art I did a month or two ago. I had felt a bit down (because of life and worldly circumstances) and was also frustrated that I had stopped drawing. It made me realize the only time I was creating anything was for work, which I have little to no joy in these days. So I made a promise to myself that I was going to start drawing things that brought me joy.
It is ridiculous to think that Pokemon has been a part of my life for 25 years (I just made myself feel old again). Pokemon Silver reminds me of so many good childhood memories. As much as I loved Pokemon Blue, Silver added so much to the game that I can't help but consider it my favorite game in the series (the later soul silver was great too). Out of all the Gen 2 Pokemon, Mareep sticks out in my head. She's so darn cute. I couldn't help but draw her.
These were a series of silly doodles that I ended up deciding I wanted to turn into a sheet of stickers using my silhouette portrait machine. It was a lot of fun. The stickers ended up being more heavy-duty than I intended. I printed, laminated, and then cut them. I haven't tested it, but I'm pretty sure they're waterproof. They could go on a car and not wear off for a while with how durable they feel (I don't drive, so this is hypothetical). I hope to experiment more with sticker making in the future.
Let me know if there are any other pokemon or characters you'd like to see me draw. On my Twitter channel, someone suggested a neat idea for more Rainbow Brite art. So I have added that to my to-do list! Just be patient with me. It could be a few weeks before it shows up as a post.
Have a good day!
