have a more kin related question, how did you find out you were otherkin/how did you find out about the otherkin community?

okay i never got a notif for this ask for some reason so i only now saw it but .

it wasnt exactly a specific moment that i realized but my mates (who are both demons) gradually helped me get to it . obviously realizing i was a demon was the first one we figured out fully but we knew i was a cat way before that we just didnt really count it as like . oh thats actually my species . it was more like a . you act like a cat and you regress to a cat sometimes . type of thing ? if that makes sense lol

the rest of them ive kinda been figuring out on my own for the past few months bc my mates are currently . not really around ? taking care of a problem ? anyway 🫠

a while after we figured out i was also a demon i started searching for a way to somehow tell that to normal humans so theyd understand if they ever asked and i came across the otherkin community and that seemed like the right place to be so . here i am . i dont fully like considering myself otherkin ,, demonKIN is just not it , i am a demon (and a void and a cat and so on) . again does that make sense ? lmao

ive spent years not feeling and not wanting to be human so when they helped me realize that maybe im actually not one that was . such a great thing for me . im glad we figured it out .
