Hilariously contrasting reviews for P!ATD and MCR, both shows performed at the same venue, only days apart.
Source for both: Ross Raihala
Concert review: Panic! at the Disco take risk by playing new album in full at high-energy Xcel show
Tumblr media
Las Vegas rock band Panic! at the Disco took a novel approach to promoting their new album “Viva Las Vengeance” on Wednesday night at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center.
The group — which has been vocalist Brendon Urie and touring musicians since 2015 — opened and closed the show with mini sets of a half-dozen hits. In the time between, they played the new record in its entirety.
It was a gutsy move for sure. The band emerged in 2005 after Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz signed them to his label and took them on the road. PATD scored big with the emo crowd, but the band slowly fractured as Urie took control. Over the past decade, he transformed the group’s sound, adding heavy doses of Queen-style pomp, Rat Pack-esque crooning and Broadway bombast.
That new direction worked and PATD sold out the X and Target Center on tours in 2017 and 2018. Urie’s huge voice — he’s a tenor with a four-octave range — and onstage swagger helped sell huge, theatrical anthems to a new generation of fans.
Perhaps those new fans have aged out of the group? Wednesday, a crowd of about 7,500 showed up. And following two consecutive albums that hit No. 1, “Viva” sputtered out at No. 13, while its seven singles failed to find an audience.
Listening to Urie and his band — which includes horn and string sections — plow through “Viva” on Wednesday, it was tough to understand the fans’ resistance. It’s very much an ode to ’70s FM radio, with nods not just to Queen, but also to Cheap Trick, the Raspberries, Thin Lizzy, T. Rex and any number of other acts from the era. But it’s not that far removed from what the band’s been doing as of late.
“Viva” is packed with towering arena rock epics that Urie absolutely nailed. The most compelling moments, though, were the quieter ones. A song about a relationship ending in death, “Don’t Let the Light Go Out,” is easily the strongest of the bunch with a real emotional resonance. And “All by Yourself” is such a savvy, cheeky rehash of Eric Carmen’s classic “All by Myself,” they gave him a writing credit.
The crowd perked up at times during the new material, but often sat in quiet reverence. But the older stuff — almost all from the past decade — got massive responses, from “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” to “High Hopes.” Many prompted audience sing-alongs as well, including the 2015 Sinatra tribute “Death of a Bachelor.”
It remains to be seen if Urie’s ploy of playing all of “Viva Las Vengeance” will spark renewed interest or if it will be the turning point where Panic! at the Disco slide into nostalgia act territory.
(Not mentioned by Ross: Brendon snorting a line of coke mid set and multiple stage amps catching fire )
The long-awaited My Chemical Romance reunion had fans screaming at Xcel Energy Center
Tumblr media
Shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday, the sold-out My Chemical Romance crowd at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center began wildly cheering … for a roadie wielding a stick vacuum.
It’s not an understatement to say the band’s concert was highly anticipated. For some in the audience, they had been waiting half their life for the show.
Frontman Gerard Way formed MCR after watching the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks firsthand and used his music to speak frankly about pain, loss, violence and love. Over the course of four albums, the group built a faithful and ever-growing following attracted to Way’s emotional and theatrical songs.
Eleven years ago, MCR played their biggest Twin Cities show to date at the X on a bill with Blink-182. Soon after, the band began building a studio in Los Angeles to record their fifth album. But in 2013, seemingly out of nowhere, they announced they were splitting up. No farewell tour, no reasons given, nothing.
While the members worked on various solo projects, MCR’s legend grew. In late 2019, they announced what fans assumed would be a one-off reunion show. Instead, the band booked a worldwide reunion tour that, like everything else, was postponed due to the pandemic.
When Way and the band finally took the freshly vacuumed stage, the crowd of about 15,000 greeted them with a massive collective scream that seemed to say “Finally!” MCR responded with the caustic, 9/11-referencing “The Foundations of Decay,” a new song they dropped in May. And that feeling of sheer exhilaration continued through the show, both onstage and in the crowd.
Part emo, part metal and part goth, MCR is essentially the 21st-century model of the Smashing Pumpkins, a band never afraid to make outsize, grandiose gestures. Songs like “Summertime” — Way’s cheery ode to his wife — would sound right at home in a Pumpkins set.
Even though a sense of darkness seeps through most of MCR’s songs, they also offer a chance for relief. That was immediately evident on the second song of the night, “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” as legions of fans shouted the chorus right back at Way and the band.
Really, though, the crowd sang along to pretty much every song of the night from the nihilistic “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)” to the goofy “You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison.” Ten songs in, MCR tore down the place with “Welcome to the Black Parade,” the lead single of the band’s 2006 album “The Black Parade,” an ambitious rock opera with nods to Pink Floyd, David Bowie and Queen. In the end, it was indeed worth the wait.

Leon fa scatenare Christmas Event @ Bolgia - Bergamo

Cinematic Comic Characters Ranked! (Year 2009) Part Two
It’s rough coming right after a fantastic year of movies (2008) but 2009 did pretty well for itself. Terminator Salvation is our only sequel and we also get an X-Men spinoff with X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Kids favorite shows come out with Astro Boy, Dragonball: Evolution, and G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, and we got a couple of thrillers with Whiteout and Surrogates. We also get the debut of the controversial Watchmen! Let’s get started with numbers #60-41!
*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ALL HIGHLIGHTED MOVIES ABOVE*
60. Master Roshi (Dragonball: Evolution)
"You are the only one who can do it."
It was like Grandpa Gohan never even died once Roshi showed up as his replacement. They both train Goku, they both understand the elemental fighting style, and they both tell horrible jokes. The only difference between them is that when Roshi dies, he gets to come back!
59. Sparx, Robotsky, and Mike the Fridge (Astro Boy)
Tumblr media
"Viva La Roboto-lution!"
Sparx, Robotsky, and Mike the Fridge are the founding members of the RRF, an rebel organization that aims to free robots from their human slavery. They're able to recognize that Astro is a robot and 'save' him from the surface kids. Even though their heart is in the right place, the trio never actually do anything that helps Astro and his friends, but that doesn't stop them from trying again and again and again.
58. General Clayton M. Abernathy/Hawk (G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra)
"When all else fails, we don't."
A war veteran, General Hawk has moved on to lead the G.I. Joes in their missions to save the world. After temporarily adding Duke and Ripcord to the team, Hawk does his best to protect the valuable nanobite warheads but ends up getting defeated by Storm Shadow. The beatdown supposedly leaves him in a coma and he doesn't show up again until he bails the team out of the French prison. He leads the team against Cobra in the final battle before officially adding Duke and Ripcord to the team.
57. The Prophet (Surrogates)
"We're not meant to experience the world through a machine."
The Prophet is a man who starts cult following by people who refuse to use surrogates. He has them believe that they are an abomination and an act against God. Turns out The Prophet is actually a surrogate himself, belonging to the surrogates creator, Lionel Canter. The Prophet is just one of the many tools he uses to put on end on the surrogates forever.
56. Fred Dukes/Blob (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
"Did you just call me... Blob?"
Another member of Stryker's team, Fred Dukes is so strong he can take out a tank missile and it wouldn't leave a scratch on him. After retirment he really lets himself go, becoming the Blob most comic fans are familiar with. He has the information Logan wants but refuses to give it up after he thinks Logan makes fun of his weight. He ends up beating the shit out of Logan in a boxing match but once Logan gets the upper hand and wins, he tells him everything he needs to know.
55. Hamegg (Astro Boy)
"They're robots! They do what I say!"
Hamegg used to create robots for Astro's father, but then moved to the surface world so he could participate in the robot fights. He adopts all the orphan kids he finds and sends them find him parts for the perfect fighting robot. He seems like a nice guy, but in the end he's only nice to his own species. He's able to find out that Astro is a robot and quickly throws him in the ring to get him destroyed. He's stopped by ZOG who then takes care of him while the surface kids go rescue Astro.
54. Grandpa Gohan (Dragonball: Evolution)
"Always have faith in who you are."
Grandpa Gohan was that grandpa who most have been really popular when he was younger so he still cracks jokes now that he's older. He was really nice to take Goku in after the other came flying down to Earth in a meteorite as an infant and started training him how to fight. Didn't expect him to die as fast as he did, but he pops up one more time after Goku 'dies' to tell him he's not actually going to stay dead.
53. Russell Haden (Whiteout)
"You crazy bitch!"
I think it's funny that this guy had the audacity to call Carrie a crazy bitch for threatening to cut off his fingers when he literally killed three people within a couple of days and was willing to kill more. I didn't like Haden at first glance so when Carrie finds out he was the killer, I wasn't that shocked. And I know the scenes where he chased Carrie outside were suppsoed to be serious but I couldn't help but notice that even at the brink of death BOTH of them continued to follow safety procedures when it came to clicking themselves to the safety rope. Of course we see the reason why when Carrie cuts Haden's rope free and he ends up getting blown away by 100 mph winds until he slams his upper body into the facility's pillars, killing him instantly.
52. Andrew Stone (Surrogates)
"You left us no choice but to take you out."
In charge of the police force, Andrew Stone is an old man who uses a younger, more attractive surrogate to do his day-to-day activities. When the creator of the surrogates threatens to shut the whole thing down, his partners give Andrew the weapon to kill him. Andrew hires a amateur hitman who ends up killing Canter's son instead. After being found out by Greer, Andrew pays for his crimes when Canter confronts and kills him.
51. Rex Lewis/The Doctor/Cobra Commander (G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra)
"The time has come for the cobra to rise up and reveal himself."
You know what's always interesting about mad scientists? They always get obsessed with the scientific breakthroughs that would destroy all of humanity instead of helping it. Like can we get a breakthrough in cancer? No, but here's a breakthrough with mind-controlling soldiers and city-destroying nanobites. What's also a trip is that The Doctor willingly goes for it, unlike some of the villains who turn out to be mind controlled. He just loves being evil so it's no one's surprise when he takes command of Cobra himself by the end of the film. Too bad he literally gets arrested right after.
50. Mai (Dragonball: Evolution)
"I could disrupt them."
Piccolo's little assassin who would've been just as boring had it not been for all the fights she ended up having. I'm assuming she's the one that breaks Piccolo free from his prison before she joins him in hunting down the Dragon Balls. She hardly talks but she has a cool trick of turning into people as long as she has a part of their DNA. She uses it on Chi-Chi to get the remaining Dragon Balls. In the end she's shot dead by Yamcha after she nearly kills Bulma.
49. Hershel Dalton/Heavy Duty (G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra)
"Don't make me shoot a woman."
Heavy Duty was kinda my least favorite Joe member-if we're not counting Cover Girl who was there for like, five seconds. I didn't necessarily NOT like him because he was always there when the team needed him and packed a mean punch when it came down to it. He was just a bit boring. Even when he leads all of the Joe's in an ocean fight against Cobra, I found myself more invested in everyone else's mission.
48. Robert Pryce (Whiteout)
"I think you warmed up to me."
I'll say it, I thought Pryce was going to turn out to be the killer the whole time. With the whole backstory on how Carrie's last partner betrayed her, I figured Pryce was going to do the same. He didn't, he was actually innocent. You know what else he was? Useless. He didn't do a damn thing to help solve the case except give Carrie something to worry about. Ok, he did figure out how to get them all out of the plane but Carrie would've figured it out eventually so there really was no reason for him to come down from his UN headquarters.
47. Jennifer Peters (Surrogates)
"It's not safe to be without a surrogate."
Jennifer is Greer's partner on the police force and assists him on Canter's son's murder case. She's seen to be a loyal partner, caring about Greer when his surrogate is destroyed but she's taken out of the game early when Canter kills her in her real body. Her surrogate hangs around and does most of the work when it comes down to Canter destroying the world but is shot down before Greer can really stop her.
46. Zane, Widget, Sludge, and Trashcan (Astro Boy)
"Yay, Astro!"
Zane, Widget, and Sludge are the main surface kids who befriend Astro when he shows up to their world and Trashcan is the robot dog that accompanies them. They become family to Astro, which is nice to see after his father decides not to accept him. Trashcan forever is trying to out Astro as a robot, but when the truth comes out even the dog is sad to see Astro get captured by President Stone. The kids join Cora to rescue Astro and end up interacting with citizens of Metro City once the city falls onto the Surface World.
45. Star (Terminator Salvation)
*silently survives like the young Queen she is*
Star is definitely one of my favorite kids to be portrayed in an apocalyptic world. She's mute, but that doesn't mean she's useless. She has a weird ability to sense when a terminator is nearby, something that helps her and Kyle survive. Plus she actively participates in keeping herself alive, not just relying on the adults. At one point she loads up Kyle's guns and even hands Marcus a flare to blow up a giant machine trying to kill them.
44. John Wraith (X-Men Origins: Wolverine)
Tumblr media
"Hey be nice! Or be your approximation of nice."
Probably the friendliest of Styker's team, John Wraith's abilities of teleporting allow him to stop any type of sneak attack from the enemy. He retires and spends his days with Fred Dukes until Logan shows up. John travels with him to New Orleans to find Remy Labeau, but runs into Victor instead. You'd think with his powers, he'd win easily, but Victor is able to predict his moves and crush his spine. He takes a sample of his blood to be used on Deadpool.
43. Yamcha (Dragonball: Evolution)
"Ow, my balls!"
Yamcha kind of came out of nowhere to rob the main group of their belongings, until he agrees to help them out in exchange for him being added to the nonexistent profit they think they'll make once they find all seven Dragon Balls. He sticks around mainly because he has a thing for Bulma, but he bravely helps the group try to fight off Piccolo from destroying the world.
42. The Terminator (Terminator Salvation)
Tumblr media
"attacks naked*
I always wondered how the future John Connor was going to meet The Terminator and what he was going to do. I didn't expect the answer to get his ass handed to him, that's for sure. The new and improved Terminator takes on both Connor and hybrid machine, Marcus, easily, all while being completely nude. He manages to mortally wound Connor but ends up freezing after being drenched molten hot magma.
41. Bobby Saunders (Surrogates)
"We just saved about a billion lives there."
Bobby works for the police force and is the only human in the department who doesn't use a surrogate. Against the whole thing he stays in his watch room and looks for crime, coming up with a code to temporarily block a user from their surrogate. This comes in handy at the end when Greer uses the code from saving every human on Earth from dying when a virus destroys all their surrogates.

HAAT Phase 4
I personally consider this phase the easiest phase, and there’s a wide variety of teams you can use for it. The strategies for this phase are really simple but can be a pain to execute, and sometimes the RNG just doesn’t want to work in your favor. Thanks to recent patches in the raid, it’s not possible to solo this phase with a single team, but you can still deal massive damage overall with the right team comps.
So which teams will be the most effective at taking down this phase? I’ll be explaining under the cut.
Master Post
AOE SPAM
aka those characters you hate to face in Squad Arena. A minimum damage team that is effective and not too difficult to obtain.
Team Composition: Wedge Antilles (Lead), Rex, Captain Phasma, Biggs Darklighter, Lando Calrissian
This team seems a little odd, but it works. Wedge, Phasma, and Lando are important because of their AOE attacks--attacks that attack the whole team. With Wedge as lead, each Rebel ally gains a lot of bonuses--increased offence, increased health recover, increased turn meter, increased critical hit chance... You get the idea. So while Wedge is leading, he gives all those things to both Biggs and Lando. Wedge’s unique also allows Biggs to copy every perk that Wedge has. That speed and offense increase from Wedge will give Biggs more opportunities to attack. Coupled with Bigg’s own unique, which gives him bonus turn meter for surviving enemy attacks, he’ll be hitting the tank often. Lando’s AOE, if you’ve ever encountered it in Arena, is brutal when he’s on a Rebel team that gives him speed bonuses--it feels like he never stops using his AOE attack with the nonexistent refresh. Phasma’s Advantage special attack will give everyone increased turn meter as well--more opportunities to hit that tank. Rex’s ability to give everyone a buff will be useful--I’ll explain a bit more in strategy--and he’s perfect for turn meter control on the tank and its turrets.
Gear Level: A minimum of Gear Level IX is required. Level X is recommended.
Attacks and Abilities: Max out every special and basic, as well as everyone’s unique abilities. Make sure Wedge’s leader ability is maxed out. Everyone else’s leader abilities are irrelevant. No zetas are required.
Mods: Offense and Speed mods are what you’ll want to equip everyone with. You want your team to be hitting the tank hard and fast, because your characters will be taken out the moment the tank is enraged. Wedge is especially important, because his basic can deal massive damage, so you want him attacking a lot.
The Strategy: Send in a throwaway team and take out the B2 droids. They will never resurrect so long as the tank remains untoppled. Once the B2s are down, wipe (lingo for “die”) or retreat which characters you can. I recommend that you wipe so that the middle turret will not take out a character from your main team when you send it in. Once you send in your main team, focus on the tank and the middle turret. Do not topple the tank. Taking out all three turrets will topple the tank. This may inevitably happen due to constant AOE attacks, and if it does, keep an eye on the tank’s turn meter. Use Rex’s special to buff the team so the airstrike doesn’t wipe it, since having a buff on any character will protect them from the massive damage the airstrike deals out. One the tank gets up again, the B2s will resurrect, but the tank itself will have no turn meter. Take the B2s out immediately so you don’t worry about cancelled specials or AOE from them. While the tank isn’t toppled, use Rex on the middle turret and the tank for turn meter control. You want the tank to go as few times as possible. If you lose someone before the tank enrages, retreat your whole team using the retreat function in settings and try again if you have time.
STANDARD REBELS
For those of you with a strong emphasis in the Rebels meta.
Team Composition: Wedge Antilles (Lead), Biggs Darklighter, Lando Calrissian, Admiral Ackbar, Princess Leia
Gear Level: A minimum of level X, recommended XI
Attacks and Abilities: Max out everyone’s unique abilities and Wedge’s leader abilities. Ackbar must have his special abilities maxed. Leia’s cloak ability needs to be maxed No zetas required for this team.
Mods: Speed for Biggs. Speed and Critical Damage for Wedge. All Critical Chance for Lando to make sure you can take advantage of his special. Critical Chance for Leia as well, due to her unique. Health and Defense for Ackbar.
The Strategy: Ackbar is not an attacker. He is going to be vital for the survival of your team, hence the health and defense mods. He can dispel and heal as well as grant a buff for when you need to survive the airstrike. Biggs is your primary single target damage dealer. Wegde and Lando will be using their AOE attacks. When you first enter the phase, take out the B2s. Once that’s done, focus on the turrets and topple the tank using Biggs’s and Leia’s basics and Wedge’s and Lando’s AOEs. You’ll want to have Leia cloaked constantly, and thanks to her maxed special, her cooldown finishes one turn before she becomes visible again. This is so when the tank topples, Leia can deal out massive damage with each hit; with her bonus attacks, this quickly adds up. Leia’s unique will give everyone a buff, so keep an eye on your characters during topple to make sure she’s done so. If she hasn’t, use Ackbar’s special to give everyone a buff before the airstrike. The tank will reset and spawn the B2s back in. Rinse and repeat.
CHAZE AND FRIENDS
More characters you hate to see in Squad Arena.
Team Composition: Wedge Antilles (Lead), Biggs Darklighter, Baze Malbus, Chirrut Imwe, Han Solo (RAID VERSION)
Gear Level: Minimum requirement is Gear Level IX. X is recommended. XI is even more recommended.
Attacks and Abilities: Max everyone’s basics, specials, and uniques. Once again, Wedge’s leader ability must be maxed.
Mods: Everyone should be modded with Critical Chance and Critical Damage. You’ll want those mods to have Speed and Offense secondaries to deal heavy damage many times. For Baze, you’ll want to consider equipping him with some Potency mods to make sure Speed Down will be inflicted. You’ll want to make sure Wedge has mods that give him more health as well, since his leader ability spreads more health around to every Rebel, and this whole team is made up of Rebels.
The Strategy: This team comp sort of allows you to go wild, but the important thing is that you need to topple the tank every single time it’s up, before it gets to attack. That means focus DPS on the turrets. Get the turrets down to as low health as possible and take them out with Baze’s or Wedge’s AOE attacks, which will do some damage to the B2s as well. This will trigger the B2s, but don’t worry too much about their ability cancels. Baze and Chirrut will be doing counters since Baze will be taunting, which will work on the B2s and take them down during topple. If you have your AOEs available, use them during topple when the B2s are still up. Use Biggs’s special attack to call assists on the tank when it’s toppled. Use Han’s special to grant everyone a buff before the airstrike. Rinse and repeat. Make sure that tank never gets to attack.
VIVA LA R2
Pretty good for a little droid.
Team Composition: Finn (Lead), Resistance Pilot, Poe Dameron, Resistance Trooper, R2D2
You can use Rey in place of Resistance Pilot for this team, but I would recommend not doing so. It’s suggested that this team may be good for this phase, but you would possibly do better to use Viva La Resistance in phase 2, which will allow you to use Rey for high DPS.
Gear Level: Gear Level IX or higher is required.
Attacks and Abilities: Max out all basics, uniques, and specials. Finn’s zeta leader ability is required, as is R2′s zeta ability, Number Crunch.
Mods: Full Potency mods for R2, with potency being the primary stat on his cross mod. Full Potency for Finn. Potency and Health for Poe to keep him alive. For Resistance Trooper, go full Potency mods; don’t worry about speed for him since he’s already very fast. For Resistance Pilot, have three sets: Potency (arrow and circle), Crit Chance (cross and diamond), and Health (triangle and square). You’ll want her to get critical hits often.
The Strategy: Take out the B2s and topple the tank. You may need to work on them simultaneously, but use R2′s AOE, Improvise, often, and stun the B2′s with R2′s basic so they can’t ability block. When the tank is toppled, use Poe’s taunt to expose the tank and reduce its turn meter, which gives Trooper a turn meter boost and reduces all cooldowns by 1 turn via Finn’s zeta every time the tank takes damage while exposed, as well as grants 35% turn meter to the whole team. Trooper’s special can inflict speed down, so use it on the tank right before you topple the tank. Afterwards, use Trooper’s basic alongside Poe’s taunt to constantly expose the tank and give more turn meter. Use Pilot’s special for expose as well and give her foresight. When she loses foresight, Finn’s zeta will give her advantage. Use R2′s smoke screen special to give your team buffs before the airstrike, and make sure you keep an eye on the tank’s turn meter so you don’t forget to use it. Rinse and repeat.
PRINCESS ZODY
My personal favorite strategy, and the one I’ll be working on.
Team Composition: Cody (Lead), Fives, Echo, Clone Sergeant, Princess Leia
Gear Level: Minimum requirement is IX. X is recommended.
Attacks and Abilities: All basics, specials, and uniques are maxed. Both Cody and Fives need to have their zeta abilities.
Mods: For Leia, give her Crit Chance and Crit Damage mods. Fives needs Crit Damage and Potency. Echo and Clone Sergeant will also need Crit Chance and Crit Damage. For Cody, you’ll want to focus on Speed, so any mods that give him more speed in their primary and secondary stats will be vital.
The Strategy: Take out the B2s and down the tank. When the Tank is toppled, use Cody’s 212th Attack to call assists from everyone. Keep Leia cloaked constantly to make full use of her Crit Chance. She’ll be giving everyone buffs to survive the airstrike. For Cody and Fives, their zetas are vital for this phase--Cody’s zeta ability is on his leader ability, and it allows clones to regain protection when they use basic abilities. Fives’s zeta is on his unique, which gives him high counter chance and increased turn meter when another ally takes damage. Echo has assist call, which will allow him to attack frequently as well. This team relies on speed, turn meter bonuses, and assist calls to keep hitting often. Do not let the tank attack you--topple it every turn. This will give you 14 DPS phases when the tank is toppled. Use AOE attacks when appropriate to take out turrets or B2s all at once. Remember to keep Leia cloaked. This team is one of the most difficult to acquire due to shards for Cody and Echo only being available in stores and the fact that two characters need to be zeta’d. Overall, this team is ideal for massive damage and comes closest to being able to solo the phase, and was able to at one point. Once the tank enrages, you’ll be able to get maybe one more topple in, but health regen block also prevents protection regen, nullifying Cody’s zeta.
IMA GUN KILL YA
Yeah, go ahead, laugh at the name. It’s pretty funny.
Team Composition: Commander Cody (Lead), Fives, Echo, Clone Sergeant, Ima-Gun Di
Gear Level: I recommend a minimum of X.
Attacks and Abilities: Both Cody and Fives need to have their zeta abilities. Max everything else.
Mods: Speed for Cody, Crit Chance and Crit Damage for everyone else.
The Strategy: This is pretty much Princess Zody, except with Leia swapped out and Ima-Gun Di swapped in. Ima-Gun Di is useful due to double damage against droids, which will allow you to take out the B2s quickly and deal double damage on the tanks. However, this team composition tends to do less damage overall than Princess Zody. This team also works for Phase 2, but is recommended for Phase 4.

THE PROPHECY OF Zacharias - From The Douay-Rheims Bible - Latin Vulgate
Chapter 14
INTRODUCTION.
Zacharias or Zachariah began to prophesy in the same year as Aggeus, and upon the same occasion. His prophecy is full of mysterious figures and promises of blessings, partly relating to the synagogue and partly to the Church of Christ. Ch. --- He is the "most obscure and longest of the twelve;" (S. Jer.) though Osee wrote the same number of chapters. H. --- Zacharias has been confounded with many others of the same name. Little is known concerning his life. Some have asserted that the ninth and two following chapters were written by Jeremias, in whose name C. xi. 12. is quoted Mat. xxvii. 9. But that is more probably a mistake of transcribers. Zacharias speaks more plainly of the Messias and of the last siege of Jerusalem than the rest, as he live nearer those times. C. --- His name signifies, "the memory of the Lord." S. Jer. --- He appeared only two months after Aggeus, and shewed that the Church should flourish in the synagogue, and much more after the coming of Christ, who would select his first preachers from among the Jews. Yet few of them shall embrace the gospel, in comparison with the Gentiles, though they shall at last be converted. S. Jer. ad Paulin. W.
The additional Notes in this Edition of the New Testament will be marked with the letter A. Such as are taken from various Interpreters and Commentators, will be marked as in the Old Testament. B. Bristow, C. Calmet, Ch. Challoner, D. Du Hamel, E. Estius, J. Jansenius, M. Menochius, Po. Polus, P. Pastorini, T. Tirinus, V. Bible de Vence, W. Worthington, Wi. Witham. — The names of other authors, who may be occasionally consulted, will be given at full length.
Verses are in English and Latin.

Chapter 14
After the persecutions of the church shall follow great prosperity. Persecutors shall be punished: so shall all that will not serve God in his church.
[1] Behold the days of the Lord shall come, and thy spoils shall be divided in the midst of thee.
Ecce venient dies Domini, et dividentur spolia tua in medio tui.
[2] And I will gather all nations to Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken, and the houses shall be rifled, and the women shall be defiled: and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the rest of the people shall not be taken away out of the city.
[3] Then the Lord shall go forth, and shall fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
[4] And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is over against Jerusalem toward the east: and the mount of Olives shall be divided in the midst thereof to the east, and to the west with a very great opening, and half of the mountain shall be separated to the north, and half thereof to the south.
[5] And you shall flee to the valley of those mountains, for the valley of the mountains shall be joined even to the next, and you shall flee as you fled from the face of the earthquake in the days of Ozias king of Juda: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with him.
[6] And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall be no light, but cold and frost.
[7] And there shall be one day, which is known to the Lord, not day nor night: and in the time of the evening there shall be light.
[8] And it shall come to pass in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem: half of them to the east sea, and half of them to the last sea: they shall be in summer and in winter.
[9] And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day there shall be one Lord, and his name shall be one.
Et erit Dominus rex super omnem terram : in die illa erit Dominus unus, et erit nomen ejus unum.
[10] And all the land shall return even to the desert, from the hill to Remmon to the south of Jerusalem: and she shall be exalted, and shall dwell in her own place, from the gate of Benjamin even to the place of the former gate, and even to the gate of the corners: and from the tower of Hananeel even to the king's winepresses.
[11] And people shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more an anathema: but Jerusalem shall sit secure.
[12] And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord shall strike all nations that have fought against Jerusalem: the flesh of every one shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
Et haec erit plaga qua percutiet Dominus omnes gentes quae pugnaverunt adversus Jerusalem : tabescet caro uniuscujusque stantis super pedes suos : et oculi ejus contabescent in foraminibus suis, et lingua eorum contabescet in ore suo.
[13] In that day there shall be a great tumult from the Lord among them: and a man shall take the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall be clasped upon his neighbour's hand.
In die illa erit tumultus Domini magnus in eis : et apprehendet vir manum proximi sui, et conseretur manus ejus super manum proximi sui.
[14] And even Juda shall fight against Jerusalem: and the riches of all nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and garments in great abundance.
[15] And the destruction of the horse, and of the mule, and of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts, that shall be in those tents, shall be like this destruction.
[16] And all they that shall be left of all nations that came against Jerusalem, shall go up from year to year, to adore the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
[17] And it shall come to pass, that he that shall not go up of the families of the land to Jerusalem, to adore the King, the Lord of hosts, there shall be no rain upon them.
[18] And if the family of Egypt go not up nor come: neither shall it be upon them, but there shall be destruction wherewith the Lord will strike all nations that will not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
[19] This shall be the sin of Egypt, and this the sin of all nations, that will not go up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
[20] In that day that which is upon the bridle of the horse shall be holy to the Lord: and the caldrons in the house of the Lord shall be as the phials before the altar.
In die illa, erit quod super frenum equi est, sanctum Domino : et erunt lebetes in domo Domini quasi phialae coram altari.
[21] And every caldron in Jerusalem and Juda shall be sanctified to the Lord of hosts: and all that sacrifice shall come, and take of them, and shall seethe in them: and the merchant shall be no more in the house of the Lord of hosts in that day.
Commentary:
Ver. 1. Midst. The obstinate Jews shall be destroyed. They became their own enemies. C. --- The Zealots committed the greatest excesses during the siege. Jos. Bel. v. 1. --- Tacitus also refers to these transactions, having written thirty volumes on the Cæsars, from Augustus to Domitian's death." S. Jer.
Ver. 2. I will gather, &c. This seems to be a prophecy of what was done by Antiochus, (Ch.) or of the last siege, (W.) by the Romans. S. Jer. Theod. Eus. Dem. vi. 18. C. --- Vespasian collected numerous forces. Jos. Bel. iii. 1. --- Titus had six legions and many auxiliaries, Arabs, &c. Tacit. Hist. v. --- Various nations composed their army. W. --- Rifled, or demolished. None was left standing. Jos. B. vii. 6. Heges. v. 49. --- S. Jerom and others think that the city on Sion was spared, (C.) and 40,000 were permitted to dwell where they had a mind. Jos. B. vii. 15. --- But it is not said that they continued at Jerusalem. Half the Jews therefore perished, and those who maintained the siege found a grave in the city. Theod. --- Half only denotes a considerable part, as v. 8. Those who followed our Saviour's admonition, retired before, and were safe (C.) at Pella. C. x. 11. Sept. "the rest of my people shall not be destroyed out of the city."
Ver. 3. Shall. Sept. "will stand in battle array among," &c. (parataxetai en) though he will one day punish the victorious Romans. H. --- Now he fought with them as Heb. may signify. C. --- Various prodigies made this clear: (Jos. B. vii. 12. 16.) so that Titus would not receive the crown which was presented to him, as he looked upon himself only as the instrument employed by divine justice. Philost. vi. 14. --- This sense is given by S. Cyr. &c. C. --- In the days of Epiphanes, God defeated his projects. H.
Ver. 4. Olives. Here the tenth legion was stationed, (Jos. B. vi. 3.) on the spot where Christ had denounced this judgment, and ascended into heaven. Lu. xix 41. Acts i. 12. --- South. We cannot shew the literal accomplishment. If it regard the latter times, this must be hidden. But it suffices that some great earthquake should take place, according to most interpreters; or rather, (C.) the Romans removed vast quantities of earth and stone. Jos. B. vi. 12. Grot. --- Olivet has three tops; the southern one is the lowest. But whether this was caused by an earthquake we know not. The rocks are said to split, &c. when God displays his power and affords some miraculous assistance. Ps. xvii. 8. Is. xxiv. 8. Hab. iii. 10.
Ver. 5. Flee. Whle the siege was forming many escaped, according to Josephus. Heb. Sept. &c. "The vale of my mountain shall be filled up, for," &c. C. --- Yet Prot. agree with us. H. --- Those should be "my." Ribera. M. --- The next. Prot. and Sept. "reach unto Azal." H. --- You shall. Sept. &c. "and it shall be filled, as it was filled at the earthquake," &c. C. --- The Romans had to raise many works in the vale of Cedron, so that the trees all round were cut down, and the garden walls removed thither. Jos. B. vi. 4. 14. --- Ozias, when he attempted to offer incense. Jos. Ant. ix. 11. Amos i. 1. and 4 K. xv. 15. --- Yet the earthquake is not specified in the sacred historical books. W. --- On that occasion, the people retired into the vale formed by the separation of Olivet; or, if we follow the Sept. part of that mountain fell into the valley of Cedron, which we find nowhere else specified. C. --- With him. Prot. "thee." H. --- God is attended by his angels; though the Romans may be called his saints, or people destined to execute his decrees in this war. Is. xiii. 3. Soph. i. 7. Deut. xxxiii. 3. Joel iii. 1. C.
Ver. 6. No light; viz. in that dismal time of the persecution of Antiochus, when it was neither day nor night, (v. 7.) because they neither had the comfortable light of the day, nor the repose of the night. Ch. --- Darkness denotes distress. The citizens shall be in despair. Mat. xxiv. 29. Ezec. xxii. 8. Joel ii. 2. Apoc. ix. 2. Heb. seems to be corrupt: "no precious light, but thick," or a cloud. C.
Ver. 7. In the time of the evening there shall be light. An unexpected light shall arise by the means of the Machabees, when things shall seem to be at the worst. Ch. --- At one period of the last siege, it was dubious what would be the event, particularly (C.) when Titus was separated from almost all his attendants, and when the besieged burned the works of the enemy. Jos. B. vi. 2. and 12.
Ver. 8. Living waters; viz. the gospel of Christ. Ch. --- Last: Mediterranean. H. --- The prophet now turns to the figurative Jerusalem. The earthly city was not well supplied with water. C. --- It was in the most dry and barren part of the country. S. Jer. in Is. xlix. --- As much as the Mediterranean excels the Dead Sea, so much do the Gentiles surpass the Jewish converts in numbers. See C. xiii 1. C. --- The true faith is Catholic in all places, and at all times. W.
Ver. 9. One Lord. The apostles justly gave this title to Christ. Jo. xiii. 14. He is possessed of all power. Mat. xxviii. 18. Phil. ii. 10. Pastors are all subject to him. C. --- The Pope styles himself, "servant of the servants of God," since S. Gregory's time. H.
Ver. 10. Return. This in some measure was verified by means of the Machabees; but is rather to be taken in a spiritual sense, as relating to the propagation of the Church and kingdom of Christ, the true Jerusalem, which alone shall never fall under the anathema of destruction, or God's curse. Ch. --- The limits of Jerusalem were never so extensive. --- Hill, or Gabaa to Remmon," or the pomegranate. The situation is not ascertained.
Ver. 11. Anathema. It shall not be sentenced to utter ruin. The Church may suffer losses, but cannot perish. C.
Ver. 12. Consume. Such judgments as these have often fallen upon the persecutors of God's Church, as appears by many instances in history. Ch. --- This has partly been verified in persecuting emperors, (S. Jer.) and in others, and will befall the wicked when the day of judgment shall draw near. W. --- Herod, who made war on Christ, and Agrippa, who attacked his Church, (C.) were both devoured by worms. Jos. Ant. xvii. 9. and xix. 7. Acts xii. 13. --- Nero slew himself; Maximian was eaten to death by an inward ulcer; and his colleague's (Maximinus) eyes fell from his head. Eus. in Constant. i. 57. and 59. --- It would seem as if Zacharias beheld them. He may also speak of the attempts of God, and of Epiphanes. C. ii. 8. and xii. 9.
Ver. 13. Them. The Church shall be alarmed at these wars, seeing enemies on all sides. But those days shall be shortened. Mat. xxiv. 21. --- Hand. Christians shall assist each other; or rather the nearest relations will persecute them. Mat. x. 21. 36. C.
Ver. 14. Even Juda, &c. The carnal Jews, and other false brothers, shall join in persecuting the Church. Ch. --- The Jews shewed themselves the most virulent. 2 Cor. xi. 24. Acts viii. &c. They insisted on the death of S. Polycarp. --- Riches. Converts shewed their generosity so much, (C.) that Julian and Felix, apostates, complained of this profusion in sacred vessels. Theod. Hist. ii. 11. 12.
Ver. 15. Shall be like this destruction. That is, the beasts shall be destroyed as well as the men; the common soldiers as well as their leaders. Ch. --- History does not specify the death of cattle, (C.) though in plagues this would inevitably follow; and the pagans complained that they were become more common since the propagation of the gospel. H. --- The reverses which the troops of Dioclesian, &c. sustained, were to punish their enmity to religion. C.
Ver. 16. Left. That is, many of them that persecuted the Church shall be converted to its faith and communion, (Ch.) particularly after Constantine. C. --- Tabernacles. This feast was kept by the Jews, in memory of their sojourning forty years in the desert, in their way to the land of promise. And in the spiritual sense, is duly kept by all such Christians as in their earthly pilgrimage are continually advancing towards their true home, the heavenly Jerusalem, by the help of the sacraments and sacrifice of the Church. And they that neglect this, must not look for the kind showers of divine grace to give fruitfulness to their souls. Ch. --- Out of the Church there is no salvation. C. --- Other things may be obtained. S. Cyp. H. --- The converts shall celebrate the Christian festivals, and merit great rewards, while infidels shall remain barren and devoid of eternal happiness. W. --- We have no solemnity of tabernacles; but Gentiles keep the Epiphany in thanksgiving for their vocation to God's admirable light. 1 Pet ii. 9. C.
Ver. 17. There. Sept. "these shall also be added to them" who perish. H.
Ver. 19. Sin, or punishment. Formerly various nations were excluded from the religion or assemblies of Israel. Lev. xxii. 25. Deut. xxiii. 1. Now all are invited and compelled to enter the Church, so that they can have no excuse. Lu. xiv. 24. C. --- Those rejected by the Jews might still have true faith. H.
Ver. 20. Bridle. The golden ornaments of the bridle, &c. shall be turned into offerings in the house of God. And there shall be an abundance of cauldrons and phials for the sacrifices of the temple; by which is meant, under a figure, the great resort there shall be to the temple, that is, to the Church of Christ, and her sacrifice. Ch. --- It is of a different nature, being the body and blood of Christ. But it shall not be confined to one place, nor the priesthood to one family. v. 21. Heb. "they shall inscribe on the stables, Holy," &c. The most filthy places shall be purified and changed into temples; or, "what is upon the little bells for horses shall be sanctified;" or, on these "bells shall be inscribed, sacred to the Lord." C. --- Metsilloth may signify a bell or bridle, &c. H. --- The bits were often of gold. Æn. vii. and viii. C. --- S. Jerom's master said the word should be motsiluth, "trappings" and armour. H.
Ver. 21. Merchant; or, as some render it, the Chanaanite shall be no more, &c. that is, the profane and unbelievers shall have no title to be in the house of the Lord; or, there shall be no occasion for buyers or sellers of oxen, or sheep, or doves, in the house of God, such as Jesus Christ cast out of the temple. Ch. John ii. 16. - All former distinction of Jew and Gentile shall cease in the Church. Past faults shall be forgotten. C.
