Been a hot minute since I shared art here, let alone a finished project!

So behold Chibi Fi, a pattern I actually wrote several years ago for a gift exchange. After all this time I finally made one for myself, and updated the pattern to add to my Ravelry store.

Actually finished this a little while ago, but only just got around to photo's ^^;

But! Behold, an openable pokeball (or DP ball in this case) that I actually mostly like! Still a few small tweaks to make, but ultimately I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :)

Bonus little baby man WIP in that last one, though I'm not getting his hair the way I want, so I think that version will ultimately be scrapped.

Plue from Fairy Tail, reporting for duty! XD Made for the same person who ordered Happy and Natsu last year - and there's more to come, so keep your eyes peeled over the next few months! Plue measures in at about 13.5 inches tall, with a good portion of that being head - this boy is not proportional in the least!  Very cute nonetheless though. (I think I'd really like to see him done up someday in that big plushy blanket yarn - so cuddly!)

Played yarn chicken and won!

#viv18chatter #viv18art #....ish XD #so glad I made it #I tried something that didn't pan out AT ALL #and it wasted so much yarn; normally I can salvage #but not that time #so when I landed on what I actually wanted from the design #I was suuuper worried I wouldn't have enough #and while I have other blues #I don't have exaclty that one #and it would've bugged me y'know? #granted I'll have to join with a different shade #but that's largely in the back #and won't bother me half as much #since I can make it largely invisible

A two part commission for a buddy of mine at work, Happy and Natsu from Fairy Tail!

This is gonna be a Christmas gift (it’s not a secret, so I can share early ^^) and one of her favourite episodes was where Happy was transformed into a giant, so he wanted a big Happy and little Natsu in homage of that. 

Happy is 12″ tall counting his ears, with a 24-30″ wingspan, and Natsu is aroun5 -6″ tall. I’m super proud of those wings, ngl. I just learned how to make them for a personal project when buddy asked for this, so he had perfect timing! XD

Finally got off my butt and made an art summary for the year! As you can see I discovered Giphy, which made things much easier than last year! :XD: There are a few things I couldn't include because they aren't released yet, and I didn't go through my digital art - if it wasn't in my photo's, I didn't bother ^^; But most of it is here, so you get the gist. I don't think there's as much quantity-wise as there was last last year, between moving, reno's and (thankfully) not getting a pile of commissions and other commitments in Nov/Dec. But I also think I've markedly improved skill wise, and have tried a lot more new and involved things. Not to mention I think I've really begun to improve my photography too, which makes me happy. Looking forward to a few things I have planned for the new year (though I'm sure I'll get distracted as ever, I'm hoping to knock a few long time ideas off the to-do list).
