I'm curious about your interpretation of Vic Viper Bomber, since I saw your design of him a while back... :0c

I really liked the idea of White having someone who shares his ideals, and thought hard about how he'd interact with someone romantically. Originally, I wanted him to have a thing with Plasma Bomber in my stories because they have similar ideals but different characters, resulting in two characters who play off each other really well, but I didn't know how to incorporate it better. So, I settled for someone who he could encounter during his travels: Vic Viper Bomber.

Now, as we all know, Konami is a little bitch. The game Vic's originally from isn't well known, and it would feel kind of weird to have the character interacting with a crossover character like that, so my main interpretation of the character is kinda "He's a long-distance boyfriend of White's, but they're from the same timeline/universe." So Vic's been redesigned to account for it (actually, i was just really bad at drawing his plane parts, but i wanted him to look like a plane, still...so im fine with both my design and the original). I'd imagine he was built to be an assistant of some sort in combative situations....kind of like someone in the military. I like the ideas of them together because White seemed like the kind of person with a less than ideal outlook on himself. I mean, in the cutscene where he's introduced, White was almost to the point of tears when he felt that he wasn't good enough to face the competition after his siblings were injured, and Vic was the one who cheered him up...

So, in the end, I kinda "Canonized" him while throwing all the other cameo characters in the bin. He's long distance, doing his own thing on his own planet. It's a good character to write interactions with White, because even he understands things that White doesn't know yet. And I'd bet White understands things that he doesn't, too.
