𝐎𝐍𝐄 FIRST AND FOREMOST. Dutch has a skewed world view and questionable morals and has done terrible things . Mun is not muse I do not condone his actions or beliefs . I am mostly a Red Dead 2 RP blog with some Red Dead 1 verses though these are only to pinpoint pieces of that story or developing headcannons and ideas further. I am critical of Dutch and critical of both games and creators .

I may explore a headcannon for Dutch's mental health . Lets make this clear Dutch's diagnosis does not correlate with his violent actions, that is in no way what I am implying or will ever imply . His violence is the result of the violent nature of the situations he finds himself in and by no means is a result of his diagnosis . His stress levels get exasperated by stressers he encounters that is very different from being the cause of violence .

If I ever offend in anyway then please don't hesitate to communicate . I don't always get things right but I will always try to be the best I can be.

Why Arthur stays up at night headcanon.

Arthur Morgan was not a man that chose not to sleep, he just couldn't sleep.

He was scared too

Everytime he closed his eyes he saw someone who was killed in an unfortunate situation.

The callender brothers mainly and not most recently..?

"Sean.."

Arthur saw the Irishman every damn time he blinked and you best believe it tugged his hearstrings

It hurt him to the point of crying at one point

Sean was like his ..

No Sean was his brother

Now that he was gone Arthur hated the fact he took the man for granted

All the jokes.

All the times he told Sean to go away because someone was asking for him

That's what kept him up sometimes crying over how he wished he could've heard one more story

One more bad joke

One more moment to talk to the man

His crying sometimes led to his sniffling shell of a body standing in Dutch's tent

Embracing the only man who's been here who showed Arthur any love, any affection he needed truly.

Hosea tried but no one tried as hard as Dutch did.

"Son it wasn't your fault...He knew....He knew what would happen.."

Arthur broke down even more at the mention of Bill and his 'meeting'

"I miss him Dutch"

Arthur, who smokes cigarettes quite often, always gives the cards to Dutch. He keeps the ARTIST, WRITERS, AND POETS cards (saving Millers for especially tough and rock bottom days) back to give Dutch on hard days because it’s the little attention to detail of the other's interests and personality that make them both fall for each other. (Bonus: Dutch cherishes these cards and keep them in a lock box under the bed in their tent)
