Here's a little blurb

The moon hung low in the night sky, casting a pale silver glow over the training grounds. Igor Belikov and Syera Delgado, two of the top Dhampir Guardians, stood back-to-back, their senses sharpened and their hearts pounding. Syera had just returned from maternity leave, and the Strigoi attacks had grown more relentless.

Igor clenched his fists, his knuckles white with determination. He couldn't forget the image of his close friend nearly being torn apart by a Strigoi in their last encounter. He was filled with anger and ambition, fueled by the desire to protect those he cared about. The first Strigoi emerged from the shadows, its red eyes gleaming with malevolence. Igor lunged forward, his movements swift and precise. His silver stake glinted in the moonlight as he drove it through the Strigoi's heart. It disintegrated into ash with a hiss, but there was no time to celebrate.

Syera, meanwhile, faced another Strigoi, her every move a testament to her brilliant fighting prowess. She attacked with relentless precision, her strikes finding their mark with deadly accuracy. As the battle raged on, Syera found herself facing multiple Strigoi at once. She fought valiantly, her movements fast and deadly. One Strigoi managed to land a glancing blow, leaving a painful gash across her side. It slowed her down, but it only fueled her determination.

"Is that all you've got?" she taunted the Strigoi as she launched a series of lightning-fast strikes.

Meanwhile, Igor took charge of the situation. "Guardians, form a defensive line!" he commanded, his voice echoing with authority. He directed his fellow Dhampir students in coordinated attacks against the Strigoi, his leadership shining brightly. "Stay focused! We can beat them back!" he shouted, his words inspiring determination in his comrades as they fought together, a united force against the relentless Strigoi threat.

Finally, with a coordinated effort, Igor and Syera dispatched the remaining Strigoi, their enemies turning to ash at their feet. They stood, panting and bruised, but victorious. Syera's injury was bad, but not life-threatening. They had protected their comrades and the commoners present .

OCs DESERVE BETTER -> Svetlana Dragomir (Vampire Academy) FC: Seychelle Gabriel [psd] [template insp., template insp.]

The only dhampir child of Eric Dragomir, Svetlana has always been an oddity among her fellow dhampirs. For one, the Dragomir’s have always accepted her as a member of the family - despite her being the product of a grief stricken Eric’s affair. She even has their last name instead of her dhampir mother’s. Secondly, and probably most important, she is frankly a terrible Guardian. She’s good enough to pass, but her strengths have always been more strategizing and planning than fighting. Between those two things, the only others willing to interact with Svetlana are her Moroi half-sister, Lissa, and Lissa’s dhampir best friend, Rose Hathaway.

Before the accident, the plan was simple: Rose would become Lissa’s Guardian, Rose would help make sure Svetlana was good enough to become a Guardian, and then Lissa would help Svetlana get a more ‘behind the scenes’ Guardian role. Then the accident happens, the Court starts to get more severe and strict with the dhampirs - including lowering the age of active Guardian to 16 - and Svetlana’s dream with Lissa and Rose seems to have died that day with the other Dragomir’s. 

As tensions begin to grow between dhampirs and Moroi, Svetlana finds an unexpected reprieve in a certain Moroi - and an unlikely comradeship in an Alchemist.

OCs DESERVE BETTER -> Casmir Zeklos (Vampire Academy)

“You would be surprised what people often hide, Hathaway. Ask anyone and I’m simply the slightly more tolerable Zeklos. Ask Daniels or Kaminski and they’ll tell you something different.”

One of the many Zeklos, Casmir at first impression is what everyone would expect of a Moroi from one of the larger royal families: arrogant, charismatic, flirty, overall asshole. Which is why many Moroi and dhampirs are so surprised he gets along quite well with Irina Daniels, a known detester of all things Royal, and generally treats dhampir’s better than most other Moroi do. Less like canon fodder and broodmares and more like non-Royal Moroi. When the Court begins to tighten restrictions on dhampirs - lowering the age and increasing live-fire scenarios - Casmir surprises just about everyone by teaming up with Irina and Lissa Dragomir to bring about change.
