how do you improve on capturing the essences of characters in fanart? like your twdg fanart looks SO good. but when i try to draw fanart of the characters i end up with something that looks nothing like them. any advice?

hmmmm ive never articulated this so hopefully i can answer this well enough

most importantly i did studies of them. and by studying i mean really paying attention to and breaking down the shapes AND proportions of their faces. both are equally important to capturing someones likeness. its why i did this lineup. just really breaking them down

ask yourself what features make this character identifiable. what makes them look like Them? aside from their shapes, its usually in the proportions of features relative to each other (size of chin/distance of eyes/width and height of nose/features relative to the size of the face/stuff like that). knowing proportion rules will help you here (distance between eyes=one eye length=width of nose. corners of mouth line up between inner and center of eyes. ear length between bottom of nose and center/tops of eyes (theres a lot of rules but these are the ones i consider most)). even if a character has close features they will still averagely be in proportion to each other and same goes for a character with wide features. let the rules guide your eye

when i draw a character i usually start by drawing the shape of the head First (i also do this when doing regular portrait studies). then add the features. it helps to keep things in proportion when you know your boundaries

when i break down the shape of the head i pay attention to these areas: forehead to cheekbones, cheekbones to jaw, jaw to chin. also cheekbones to upper lip if im drawing them from an angle. is their structure rounder and softer or harder and angular? a wide jaw or a small one? wide chin small chin? lower cheekbones higher cheekbones/general prominence? long head or short head?

then i worry about the features themselves. aside from using rules to plot them, this is where shape become important again in capturing their likeness. clem and aj both have larger eyes but weighted differently (clem rounder on the outside. aj rounder on the inside). louis' are more almond shaped. violets more hooded. are the eyebrows thinner or thicker? do they have shape? (clems have a triangulation to them (specifically S1-3) but violets are more simple lines. louis' are thicker and taper off. aj's are pretty small and not too thick). shape of the nose? shape of the mouth? the lips? are they fuller or thinner? wide? pout?

another thing for likeness when drawing characters like.. Actually Living is to consider what emotions drive their reactions/expressions. characters express feelings differently. how does this character express anger? sadness? happiness? are they more open with their feelings or reserved? are they unimpressed? do they get shy? what embarrasses them? what excites them? are they mischievous or more serious? its about the overall behavior of the character and the cumulative average of their emotional reactions to create a sort of baseline to work from (does this make sense? 😭)

UUHHH.. im sure theres more i could say but thats the gist of it. just takes time and practice. use references!! dont be afraid to trace them either if youre stumped itll help 💕

1. who’s the primary protector of the two?

hmm, i can easily see at least a couple of reasons why tav if they are durge - gonna be fiercely protective of gortash and vice versa since they're the only two "survivors" of aaaaaall this mess they themselves created years ago. so i think they are kinda on the same lvl here? (especially after events of bg3 uuhhh)

but also - their understanding of "protection" is very different. for isa it's all about making sure that no one in the same room with gortash has access to sharp objects. (he kills rivals, neutralizes threats -that kind of stuff). while enver on the other hand protects through being extra thoughtful - he double checks all possible drawbacks of their plans; willingly spends time to manipulate\misinform people about anything related to bhaal's church; makes sure isa has the best gear and equipment, all that jazz!!

6. who holds a grudge the longest? definitely 10000% i'm absolutely certain - its gortash. if he turns out not to be the most vengeful bitch across the whole sword coast (and the one with a very good memory too) - i'm guilty of misinterpreting this character and should be punished by romancing someone super cute and kind (please dont do this to me).

what made me think that way is a sweet combo of his delusional perception of the world + his self-esteem, i guess? though in more close relationships i imagine him being the kind of person who, when offended, either becomes cold and distant, basically silent-treats you, or acts like nothing happened bc he can't\doesn't have time to process the situation. healthy coop mechanisms? i bet this stinky lil men never heard about them.

isa, well, isa is more of a "i deserve to bleed" kinda person............

10. which of the two is quick to speak and which one is quick to listen? ohhhhhh on any day of the week - gortash is a talkative one!! and isa are getting their "very good boi" badge and a cake for saying more than 100 words in one day (it rarely happens) 

12. which of the two rolls their eyes the most often? gortash thinks it's him but he is wrong. 

22. Who gets more easily embarrassed? gortash thinks it's not him, but it is. 

36.  who’s better at dealing with emotional trauma? WELL to paraphrase wendigoon: between planning to usurp all toril and going to the therapy - they chose violence.

37. who’s more foulmouthed? since isa's vocabulary consists mostly of "um", "ha?" and "heh", gortash once again is our winner! i think his criminal past left a mark on his speech, no matter how he plays all lordy and nobly these days. piss him off - and im 99,9% sure you'll hear something coooooolourful. 

57. who’s got the highest pain tolerance? ohhh definitely isa for this one!! they can go days and days without treating their wounds, and they are horrible at realising they're wounded in the first place! broken bones, broken and exposed bones, deep cuts, bruises, concussions, knocked out teeth, burned skin, sliced skin, frostbitten skin, you name it - they had it. the way isa treats their body deeply horrified enver when he noticed the pattern but tbh??? sometimes i look at enver and think that he is one of those ppl who will lie down and cry if you slap them

Okay uuuhh netflix avatar episode 1

i've got some thoughts which i think will be uuhhh reflected within the fandom? and the critiques? so i wanted to write them down

i might make other posts of this type after watching the other episodes (i'm watching it with friends and we only managed to watch the first one)(so i'm staying away from the tumblr tags for now cuz i dont want to be spoiled) but there's no guarantee

right off the bat i like that they are doing something "original". they're not just recreating the cartoon but in live action, certain details are changed and usually not for the worse(not for the better also but yknow they keep it same amount of nice)

i really like the bending so far, aside from the intro where they are??? cg??? for some reason??? (the people i mean ofc the bending is cgi)

expecially the earth bending, i'm half convinced the first scene was there only so the producers can go "see!!! its not like shyamalan!!! our earthbending actually looks good!!! no more 5 guys dancing haka to lift one rock!!!! see!! see!!!"

i like that they showed the attack on the air temple, what i didnt like was that while yes, sozins comet was visible, they didnt do the cool artsy turning-the-sky-red thing. i kinda missed it i really liked it in the show.

also the fire benders... dont seem all that empowered by it??? like i dunno man the amount of flames they were spewing in the rest of the episode was about the same as when they were killing the air nomads. (minus the iron maning up to the temple) i mean think of the last agni-kai think of ozai and his scorching fleet, the amount of fire that was present there! and then look at the amount of fire when sozin killed gyatso, now dont get me wrong it was a lot of flames still, but yknow, not the amount id expect from a comet empowered fire lord yfeel?

keeping it with bending i like that aang can fly(or yknow glide... fly-lite? he's not really ignoring gravity is he, he's kind of??? like if he had wings! yknow he has to work for it, you see how he manipulates the air around him to levitate, that's actually why i like it a lot, its not completely effortless), flying is the final form of airbending and he's an airbending master, i think it fits yknow?

which is why i really like that he teaches katara a bit, all bending forms have basically the same basics so for him to be the one to show her that is really cool imo

im a bit afraid about sokka, he has his moments yeah, i really like the "mysterious bald person" and "youre not getting me on that thi- AHHH" bits, but thats just it, they are few and far between i dont really think the rest of the episode has the tone for those jokes, the rest of it being weirdly serious. afraid very afraid. hopefully the later episodes will be better, lots of series have a rough first episode.

there's a lot of small character inconsistencies im afraid about, like there are small zuko bits where he's a tad bit too violent yknow? i was looking forward to him handing sokkas ass to him without using any firebending but then they had this weird stand off?? that ended with him almost fucking executing sokka? bit... concerning...

what i dont think will get ironed out is gran gran's name is no longer gran gran, but granny exposition, she's had maybe 2 lines of dialogue and they were both pure exposition, it was the only dialogue where i actually cringed, she is the worst character, like it would be okay if she played the role of a wise old character right but the words she said are just??? exposition. without any dolling up without any tombfoolery, just pure exposition.

that is to say im mostly concerned about a few details which i hope will get ironed out.

for the fake fic titles thing! thanks for sending one in :') i was uuhhh having kuroyaku feelings earlier so ima do them (theyre my fave hq!! ship haha); this also turned out long cuz i cant help myself, apparently 😅 this is honestly basically a ficlet lmao 🤦🏻‍♀️

sticky note discussions (kuroyaku):

it all starts in their 1st year at nekoma, when the class bell interrupts one of their stupid arguments. theyre not in the same class, so kuroo continues to argue his point by jotting down his (clearly superior, yakkun!) points on a sticky note and aggressively smacking it right on yaku's forehead as they pass each other in the hall on the way to their own class

yaku replies with his own sticky note (he gets laughed at when he tries to pay it back and stick it on kuroo's forehead but cant reach, and then after kuroo suffers a wounded kneecap so yaku can reach, he gets once again defeated by kuroo's dumb--theyre dumb, okay, not cute, okay kai, okay--bangs)

anyways, they reach volleyball practice and realize theyve accumulated a whole argument stated on several stickies, and they get decide to lay it out inside yaku's locker to argue their finer points again, bc theyre both actually nerds who need the last word, and they do this until practice starts

and so it continues. yaku gives kuroo his lock combo, and they have sticky note arguments debates. they dont always argue on stickies and pass them to each other in the halls throughout the day, but they end up filling out the locker to the point that yaku clears it out except for the last two points from each of them (he puts them in a shoebox he leaves in his locker after he got new vball shoes one time after class)

it was always kind of dumb arguments until one game, when yaku's off the bench and nekoma's facing off against a team that has really high endurance, nd yakkun's never been in such a high intensitt game before for so long and his thighs hurt and he's bent and dived every single time but sometimes it's not enough cuz your body's just physically not there yet, the senpai spiking the balls on the other side of the net have been doing squats for three whole years more than he has and he's not gonna give up--he's never gonna give up--but unfortunately, sometimes time just does make a difference. and they lose the game, and yaku's feeling like it's because he's just not there yet goddammit and he's annoyed cuz there's nothing he cant do that hes not already doing, except to do it for three more years.

and kuroo doesnt really know what to say. yaku doesnt wanna look at his face bc theyre still more rivals than friends despite their shared goal of heading to nationals, and their friendship isnt there yet. but. but kuroo cant just let yaku continue feeling like that. so he writes a sticky note while their starting libero gives yaku a cheer-up pep-talk, and the stucky note's just a reminder of all the good moves yaku did pull during that game, and how much of a badass he was.

kuroo needles at yaku like normal as yaku makes his way to his locker, which yaku just tolerates, and kuroo and kai manage to get him to agree to get ice cream while yaku opens his locker door, and then yaku sees the new sticky note.

kuroo tries not to watch too closely as yaku rips the note off, reads it closely with furrowed brows, and then darts a glance at kuroo. kuroo raises a brow and tries his hardest to look nonchalant and borderline unimpressed, and yakkun flushes and flips him off and turns back to his locker to hide, but kuroo spots edge of a smile and pretends not to see anything when yaku sniffles a little and swipes at his eyes.

they get ice cream, and the next day, kuroo sees a sticky note detailing kuroo's good points from his three seconds of middle blocking from the game, and a thanks. the thanks is small and squished, like yaku wasnt planning on adding it but then decided to add it after all. it makes kuroo smile and he sticks it in his own locker.

yaku sees it later, when theyre talking with their locker doors open, and kuroo writes down his own lock combo and sticks it into yaku's locker.

yaku's locker remains the place for their ongoing discussions--which is more than just debates now, actually--but occasionally yaku sticks a stucky note with a doodle on it or other random thoughts that he thinks kuroo would find funny, which he usually does. when kuroo's having a particularly bad day, yaku leaves one that's just like, "u gonna smile today or will i have to buy u snacks or something" and it makes kuroo smile immediately, day 10x brighter, and they go for snacks anyways

and then it's the end of the school year, and theyre about to go on break for a few weeks, and they have to clear out their lockers for some annual maintenance (i have no idea how lockers work in the japanese school system but i assume they must require cleaning at some point???) and yaku's got this shoebox with a mountain of sticky notes and he's memorized the shape of kuroo's handwriting as much as he knows the set of kuroo's shoulders when his hands are up and ready for a block, how sharp his eyes can be when he's calculating ball trajectory, his grin when yaku writes something particularly stupid for him to read.

and now yaku's holding a shoebox full of conversations, looking at the empty inside of his locker door, wondering when this meaningless sticky note discussion became the most meaningful part of his day

"you kept them," kuroo says from behind yaku, and yaku doesnt startle because he's so used to kuroo having his back like this. he feels safer with kuroo there.

yaku does try not to flush though, probably fails. he clutches the box closer. "yeah, and?"

kuroo smiles that slight smile, the one that isnt teasing or sardonic or annoyingly intimidating--the one that feels real, and just yaku's. "i keep mine too," he says, and pulls out a small notebook that's bursting a little with flattened sticky notes, all full of yaku's writing, dumb thoughts and dumber doodles. "you didnt leave one today though."

yaku shrugs. "didnt know what to say."

"how bout, i'll miss you terribly deeply this break, kuroo-kun! how can i survive without seeing your beautiful face and hearing your beautiful voice every day, kuroo-kun!" kuroo's laughing, and yaku rolls his eyes and doesnt think about how maybe his teasing is more true than he wants it to be.

but then he does think about it, and like... he will miss talking to kuroo every day. he has the cursh on the guy, ofc he will, sue him. "we should hang out during the break," yaku says, suddenly.

kuroo pauses in his laughing, and raises his brows. "so you will miss me?"

yaku glowers. "is that so hard to believe, dumbass?"

kuroo smiles suddenly, and takes out the pad of stickies and a pen that he keeps in his locker and hasnt packed away yet, to write something down. he smacks the sticky on yaku's forehead, like the v first one from the start of the school year.

"i cant believe we havent even exchanged numbers, but i guess our sticky notes were like texts anyways," kuroo says as yaku removes the sticky note from his forehead and finds a phone number on it.

yaku rolls his eyes again and fishes his phone out of his pockets to text the number and then add it to contacts. it's yaku. we're hanging out over the break, non-negotiable, he writes.

kuroo's phone chimes and he pulls it out and reads yaku's text before smiling. yaku watches, expecting him to respond in person. what he doesnt expect is for kuroo to look intently at yaku, and then back down at his phone to type a reply.

yaku's phone vibrates in his hand and he looks down to see a text notification from kuroo. he opens it and it says, can i negotiate whether or not it will be a date?

yaku blushes and looks back up at kuroo, who is also blushing but looks determined nonetheless. "youre not expecting me to text you back my answer, are you?" he asks.

kuroo looks pained for a brief moment. "please just let me know now," he says.

yaku laughs. "dumbass. a date sounds good."

and kuroo laughs and they leave the locker room holding hands, with their sticky note discussions all packed up in their bags.

epilogue of sorts: i want u to know the sticky note stuff doesnt go away. they use each others' lockers for more discussions throughout high school. in uni, yaku sends sticky notes with letters and souvenirs and inside kuroo's school textbooks and notebooks and kuroo leaves stucky notes all over yakkun's possessions whem he moves to russia. when they move in together later on, they leave sticky notes for each other all over the place in their apartment and no one but each other will ever understand how sappy they can get.

case in point: yaku's first wedding anniversary present to kuroo is a bound book of the stickies from the shoe box, with space for kuroo to add his own from that notebook in first year, cuz yaku knows kuroo kept his stickies too :')

Could you give more lore about your Lego movie au? Sorry I just have brainrot over your doodles, I love your designs so much

I dont rlly have any lore, it was just a dream I had where everyone was there and it played out almost like a movie. It was silly, as a lego movie should be.

But there was also a main focus on batman and superman’s relationship specifically where superman is still pissed and personally hurt abt something bruce did years ago (I have no idea what he did, the dream withheld that info from me) and so bruce, suddenly deciding to be a part of the league and try to be friends with everyone and act like the past never happened, (im gonna say this takes place probably uuhhh a month after the events of the lego batman movie so bruce is in the process of changing for the better) made clark a little salty.

With him being the generally kind and understanding man he is, he tries not to make a big deal abt it and acts (mostly) normal to Bruce, but he does and says alot of subtle passive agressive things to bruce throughout, and they kinda buttheads with each other for most of the film (can I even call it a film??) This plays out in, 90% of the time, a comedic fashion because it’s just legos LMAO.

Flash and Green Lantern were there and were already a pre-established couple because of course they were, it’s MY subconscious we’re talkin abt here and it rlly likes to yell at me “WHAT IF THEY KISSED” when it comes to those two. Diana was there and so was Aquaman but i’ve never given him a design for this, (sorry) maybe i will someday. They were like the team mom and dad just a little bit, they were kinda the middlemen, break up the fights, Diana made them get along through threats and being scary, that kind of thing.

Hal and Barry (mostly Hal) were that annoying couple that like to give advice, or like everytime bruce and clark started ‘yelling’ (more like just aggressive talking) at each other he’d lean over to barry and say smthn like “see, now this is when they kiss” idk I just remember weird little specifics, I can’t remember the whole dream like plot stuff and what happens, i just remember this dream was LONG and VERY specific. Part of me thinks it was my subconscious way of yelling at Batman because he makes me so mad sometimes

SO FIRST!!!! we have mark and sarah as 5up and hafu. 5up and hafu are noted as an iconic sibling duo, very much like the heathcliff siblings. they are also MASTER among us players, most notable for their incredible impostor plays (esp when together as an impostor duo). but besides that, mark and sarah play EXTREMELY well and like order to balance out the chaps of the lobbies.

next up we have jonah and adam the iconic dumb and dumber duo, dk and steve, respectively. they mostly do a lot of trolling. dk is mostly known in his older days for “throwing” a lot of the games, which i just have a feeling jonah would do a LOT. he does get a lot better overtime though!!! as for adam, he gets steve bc steve’s demeanor just 100% matches w adam man. and the lobby has claimed that steve can “roleplay as himself”, which is kind of what adam has been doing his entire life. dumb and dumber can be a powerful duo if they dont throw each other under the bus in the first round and have had some killer games!!!

next up i have thatcher as dumbdog. dumbdog is usually seen in a dark green color, which my brain just went “oh yeah thatcher lol.” however, dumbdog is a mix of a serious and silly player, going along with bits that he thinks are funny but also still being serious when he needs to be. i just think that captures thatcher SO WELL. also dumbdog’s laugh is just so good i might just make it thatcher’s laugh i love it sm.

next we have dave as junkyard. the entire thing with junk is that he’s the oldest in the group, and i think dave would play that role very well even if he’s not necessarily the oldest.

and this is where things get blurry. im not sure who would be who at this point, so i’ll just give a lil rundown of everyone else’s playstyles.

ruth is also a serious and silly player but leans more towards silly. maybe she’d be a good kara? idk

WAIT EVELIN IS MAYBE JANET. i mostly know janet for being so focused on being her role, especially snitch, and its just really entertaining imo. i just feel like evelin would be the same way, hyperfocusing on playing her role and such.

the alts are. okay at the game ig. gabe’s mostly alright but when he’s crew he’ll just get sussed for no reason and it pisses him off to hell and back. six is a VERY silly player. he’s probably a really good jester ngl. stanley i’d say is the best one! very tactical and plans out a lot of their actions. plays really good as both crew and impostor. puppet can be a REALLY good impostor if he knows how the specific role works. he does like to do a bit of fuckery here and there though bc he just likes being so silly goofy.

i didnt almost forget eden (lying) and soeaking of i feel like he’s still getting hsed to the game, likes to call too many buttons, gets caught too often, and misreads a lot of situations. but hymn’s still learning!!! he’s got a long way to go!!!!

Sexuality Headcanon: I see him as biromantic, leaning towards men Gender Headcanon: Transmasc A ship I have with said character: Uuhhh. I dont really have any ships for Espresso, unfortunately. Espresseleine is cute ig lol A BROTP I have with said character: Roguefort and Espresso would be neat friends. The sleep-deprived coffee-addicted guy and the charismatic thief with a lot of mental health issues dude would b a great duo tbh. Espresso is very open and unafraid, he says what he wants and doesn't fear what people will think of him. Roguefort on the other hand is very secretive and their well-being is based on their reputation. They balance each other out and give each other a space to be safe :3 A NOTP I have with said character: Espresso x Latte is odd 2 me. I view the two as family and they rlly just dont work out well together imo A random headcanon: He likes rainy days. It makes him feel serene and peaceful. General Opinion over said character: I like him, he's a neat dude with a pretty set-in-stone personality. I'm glad that unlike the majority of canon sleep-deprived characters, espresso's character is more than just his sleep deprivation. I hate how he's used as queerbait though.

1. What originally drew me to it

i was just chillin at home and my mom was looking for smth to put on and i saw it on netflix and went “oh that looks kinda neat what about that one” and then we watched the whole thing in one sitting and i’ve been changed forever.

2. What I like most and least about it

i Love love love the visual storytelling. i’m such a whore for visual imagery as a storytelling device i Live for that shit. mirrors motifs, the parallel of the deprac agent at the auction grabbing lockwood in the same spot on his shoulder where he’s shot later, lucy wearing or not wearing the necklace, THE MIRROR MOTIF.

maybe what i like Most tho is how authentic and apologetically real the characters are. they just feel so fleshed out, like actual living teenagers with strengths and weaknesses and flaws and development. the character writing on the whole is great

what i like the Least tho. hm. at least in the books, (which disclaimer: haven’t finished) stroud is lowkey really fatphobic towards george and i. Dont Love That.

least favorite thing from the show tho is,, hmmm,, i guess i’d have to say uuhhh oh! not enough kipps. ik there’s more to come w him but if we don’t get that in s2 im gonna riot. i understand that to make the show work, some fat had to be trimmed but we lost some kipps scenes and i am :( about it

as for some "in defense of"s

i'll defend javi and kate. my only Real problem with them is how they handle david in it like girl can you at least take off the wedding ring before we kiss 😭 my brother still thinks youre his wife (plus they did push it Really hard.. but like.. narratively i understand why they did. family is a running theme of the series and javi and davids relationship is like the main conflict). but like. kate and javis relationship Makes Sense. she had a shit husband (who wanted to go back to the army anyway). her and javi already had the beginnings of Something before the outbreak even happened. she was left with javi to take care of 2 children that werent even biologically hers (i enjoy the complex family dynamics in twdg as a whole). and together theyve been surviving for years as a family unit. i think javi having feelings isnt up for debate, its more just will he act on those feelings or will he respect his brother? and like.. fuck david am i right? kate was Not happy in that relationship and deserves better, and javi cares about her. but also the pressure from their dad to get along after hes gone. it all works for me even if it couldve been executed better

and i .... sigh .... Understand gabe and clem. BUT!!! i think they have different feelings towards each other and its an important distinction. gabe definitely has a huge crush on her, shes cool as hell, but i think her feelings in return are fueled by hormones and the fact that she hasnt been around anyone her own age since DUCK (sarah was 15 at the time). like. does she think hes cute? yeah. but he can also be kind of a huge jerk sometimes and acts recklessly. i think its those moments that snap clem out of it lol. seeing this response in S4 felt vindicating im taking it as sad loner clem having a hormone induced crush. like girl yes or no?? this is the most direct option??

1. What kind of person is your OC in a crisis? Are they calm and collected? Do they panic? Or are they chronically the cause?

oh in a crisis he will.. be one of the first to freak out about it. but not really in a loud way he tends to withdraw and just kind of want to hide for days on end. and it kind of eats him up inside because his whole thing is wanting to Be The Hero but. he cant really handle much anymore. especially considering the crisis hes currently in is VERY very life threatening i dont think anyone can handle it. but yeah he goes quiet or hides though on rare occassions he can push through enough to be a steadying force. but then he needs to go hide afterwards

4. Does your OC have a failed friendship or relationship they still think about? What happened? Is it an unresolved regret or is there a chance for reconciliation?

you could probably consider his relationship to patty to be that. they were still hero and villain enemies when the show got cancelled and they never really had a chance to resolve any of that. he always wanted to though even though they were trying to destroy the city because he just wanted to give them a chance since it seemed like no one ever had. but the show got cancelled before he could and now hes real and theyre not. he definitely still thinks about it a lot even though theres nothing he can do anymore

one of his powers is being able to make these like big stars that he can throw to knock people back or use like a shield and i consider that his signature power probably. it took him.. a very very long time to get control of his powers so he could do stuff like that instead of Just Exploding

6. Does your OC know magic? Were they born with magical ability or did they train to acquire it? What is their favorite type of magic? Least favorite?

uuhhh well i wouldnt say Magic but he comes from like. superheroes world where most ppl have powers. he was born with his powers though theyre like. entirely emotion based and consist of like i mentioned above those stars he can summon they vary in sizes and when his powers are under control theyre generally glowing light yellow and rounded so they dont actually hurt people. but when he gets too emotional (any very strong emotion including positive ones) his powers get more dangerous and his stars specifically get a dull gray/white and are sharp and dangerous. when hes excited or just happy little cosmetic stars can like appear and float down around him. he also has slow falling which again he can only use when hes emotionally calm and healing which works by him like. again being calm but he has to wish to heal the person like wishing on a star its cute. and finally when his emotions are. extremely strong he does risk just straight up exploding, it doesnt injure him but it Is just an explosion to the area around him. he likes that he can help people with his powers now but ultimately hes kind of resentful of them and afraid of himself for all the harm he did in the past that was just an accident bc he couldnt control it. it very much haunts him

8. What was your OC's most embarrassing moment? Does it still bother them or are they able to shrug it off?

oh god.. im not sure honestly. i dont know if id count his past like. destruction and manslaughter as Embarrassing as much as traumatizing. i dont think he tends to get embarrassed too often? okay actually no i lied i think the entire time he was at scelestic after they kidnapped him and he met tesla (his husband) was the most embarrassing for him bc it was. really really gay. but he would never regret meeting his husband
