First empties of the year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let's start with some minis. The Fenty Hydravisor and the Pre-Show Glow were from a set. I love the sunscreen because of how glowy and moisturizing it is, and I was split on the pre-show glow for a while, but I decided I love it. It does make your skin more smooth - it's a very strong acid. You just put it on and wash it off after a minute, so it's easy to incorporate into a routine too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I finished an Amika Flash Instant Shine Mask. I loved this, but it's no Wonder Water, ad for the price, I'll stick to Wonder Water. I haven't finished a Wonder Water for a while but it's still in the lineup of things I use and I'm going to try some other options to see if they work as well but smell better. But still, nothing is beating the price of Wonder Water. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Bond Repair conditioner. I have the shampoo too, and I love them together. Of course, the conditioner gets finished first because sometimes I wash my hair with only conditioner (I'd say every other time), and this one makes my hair so smooth. I have learned that my hair loves anything with Bond Repair or the like in the title because it really does calm down frizz. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Zara Soleil Decade glitter oil. I can't believe I finished this because it is SO STRONGLY scented, and I wish I could say that I found the scent sophisticated and addictive, but it's pretty sweet and not really my type of scent. But I mixed it with another oil and enjoyed the glitter this winter. I've decided to start a new post to keep track of my contouring palette since I'm currently working on four out of the seven shades and it has basically turned into a pan that palette. The two pale shades in the upper middle will replace my face powder for now. Do you guys have any recommendations which pressed setting powder to buy after this. I'm kind of nervous to try loose ones .

Guys, I’m about to finish a pencil! This is the first time IN MY LIFE I’ve used a whole pencil and I HATE IT! But thanks to the minimalism and low waste movements I’m trying to be more mindful of my waste. Once all my pencils are used up (I have about 4 left) I will be switching to a mechanical pencil because this is EVIL! What does your #bedsidetable look like? Mine has a #plant, #medication, #handkerchiefs, an #essentialoil #candle, #coconutoil, a found hair-tie, found #handcream and my face cream. The coconut oil is currently in a #reused Vaseline tin, the hankies are in a #thrifted #masonjar, and the candle and #moisturiser are in #recycleable containers. Shout out to @josies.botanicals for the gorgeous smells on those two! The plant is also #propogated from @adamhobaoill's mums spider plant in a reused plastic pot from herbs we bought and is in a #rescued outer pot that was destined for the bin. The hand cream is something I wouldn't normally use (or need) but with all the scrubbing that we did moving out of the old house my hands were *destroyed*. This tube of cream was lying around the house and nobody knew who it belonged to so I decided to #useitup instead of buying something new. We've moved in with Adam's parents for a while to get out of the rent trap and hopefully start saving up for a mortgage (SCARY SHIT). Adams parents live a very different lifestyle to us (no judgement), for example, the house is LOADED with various creams and shampoo bottles and bath bombs and everything else you can think of, so we'll be trying to use up some of the things that have been sitting around for a while. By "we" I mostly mean Adam when it comes to hair products because my curls freak out at the slightest sign of change (#curlygirlproblems). We'll also be planning a few more meals around using up whatever is going wonky in the fridge so we avoid #foodwaste 😁 It's a big adjustment, but I adore Adams parents and living on a little homestead. We have 4 #backyardchickens, 2 rescued ponies, 2 rescued dogs, and a big veggie garden. There's plenty to keep us busy! Some empties! People love the empties, and I’ve been slacking on posting them, so here we are. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I finished My favourite Murad sunscreen. It’s mineral but doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin. I’m happy to say that there are quite a few mineral sunscreens at Sephora that are sheer and look normal on brown skin. Yay. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel. I love this cleanser, it’s foaming and smells like a spa. I wish it came in a huge size. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Belif Aqua Bomb Cleansing Balm. Loved this. It melts into an oil, and then melts your makeup. This was a mini sample size, but it was enough to use for a week and I’d give it 10/10. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Chanv hemp ointment. Used it all over. Greasy but my hands loved it. Also smells so good, there’s so much lavender in here and I’m digging it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alya vitamin C serum. A pass for me. I didn’t feel like it was strong enough as a vitamin C and I really just used it for hydration.
