i went to my city's pride today and someone was there with a "serving cunt at the vampire mansion" shirt >:3 it was a super cool day ! i was on a volunteer shift at one of the gates for most of the day and it was an awesome way to get to know the community here? pride in a big city is so different from pride in alaska. i almost cried when i saw the dykes on bikes

omg i love finding mcr fans at pride! At dyke march I complimented someones danger days patch and we got to talking and they recognized my url despite not being on tumblr sjfjshfjs they mentioned considering making an mcr tumblr but idk if they ever did. If they did and theyre following me hiiiiiiiii.

Im so glad that pride was fun! I feel like smaller prides/prides that fall outside of pride month are the absolute best, the sense of community is so strong and everyone is so friendly and sweet! And congrats on getting to see dykes on bikes my beloved. And i can second volunteering being a great place to start for finding local community, I've volunteered at dyke march for 2 years now and i absolutely love it (helps that it keeps falling on my birthday lol)

18. A memorable meal this year?

hmmmmm. I made my mother and I dinner a few months ago and we had roasted butternut squash and cauliflower with porkchops, which was something I ate a lot when i cooked only for myself and I enjoyed it very much. OH WAIT. my mom and i made pesto several times and the last time we had it with garden fresh tomatoes on bread we toasted up. this was so good i had to buy pesto and bread and have the same thing again so much that the acid from the tomatoes burned my lips. it was so good...... next year i think we will do it again but ill make foccacia for the bread. and it will slap.

20. What’s something you learned this year?

I've learned all sorts of things this year, just today I learned how to replace the flapper in a toilet tank and did so!
