My partner and I decided that we’re going to collect ugly clocks. No real reason, we were just like “we need to start *a collection*” and then landed on clocks.
We’ve got this friend who goes to estate sales who knows about and endorses our decision to collect ugly clocks and, as such, is always on the look out for ugly clocks to buy for us.
Friends and Tumblrinas, she’s outdone herself this time.
I heard a popular sdv YouTuber yesterday claim that if you’re in late game you’re going to be buying your resources and not hoarding them like in early game and it made me pause because I have 600 hours in this game and I only buy recourses if I run out and I need to craft something before I can gather more. So riddle me piss:
prefacing this statement by saying that i love eliot spencer as a character so it really confuses me when people act like he....wouldn’t act aggressive towards anyone else in the leverage fam? like folks in the leverage fandom really do love to characterize him as a grump but draw the line at any type of aggression that doesn’t feel in good jest even though there are plenty of times in leverage (mostly earlier seasons but kinda sprinkled throughout and in redemption) where he is straight up an asshole. usually at hardison’s expense (y’all telling me its out of character that eliot would throw a knife in breanna’s direction purposefully not hitting her when in og leverage to help both him and hardison escape that survivalist militia eliot cuts hardison’s hand instead of cutting his own...) eliot loves his family but he’s also a deeply traumatized fuck who has anger issues and i actually really love that he is a complex character and the writers portray a person living with PTSD in the totality of what that entails “ugly” symptoms and all but y’all really are trying your damn best with woobifying him anyway lol
A supposed Arya "fan" siding with the views of her bullies and ignoring every other canon description. I'm floored.
There are 3 types of people that perpetuate this Ugly girl Arya mantra.
Biased antis who stan her bully.
Illiterate and low IQ folks who can't read for shit.
Real life ugly girls, who project their own ugliness on a character they NEED to be ugly, in order to feel less shitty about themselves. One of the highest forms of delusion born from their own unresolved insecurities. It's kinda sad if you deep it.
Your response to @queenaryastark has you firmly in the second group. Imagine READING the quotes where people say she LOOKS pretty and you somehow think it's some "inner beauty" thing? Your delusion levels are giving group 3 vibes as well.
hate how "stop taking high quality beautiful wooden furniture and giving it the landlord special its ugly" turned into "PAINT EVIL ??!?!??!?! PAINT EVIL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
just saw a video where old wooden cabinet thing furniture was refinished and some (SOME) of it was painted a nice like pine green color with unpainted wooden top + legs and all of the comments were like Oh Dear god..... youve ruined it forever i cant believe youve done this. and it was literally just some old ugly remake. ?? like . who care. "ruined forever" its paint you can remove it
i know she's not saying this bc she actually cares about what's best for him but she kinda went off so true queen. he is just a little guy he should not be in charge of a country
while im thinking about it why are people so weird about acne scars. like i get the concern surrounding like. an open scab getting infected or something? but idk all anyone ever says to me when im picking is “stop it youre gonna get scars. do you really want to be all splotchy” like why is that everyones go-to issue surrounding skin picking. fuck if im splotchy. who give a shit
saw a post on tiktok saying trophy has """pretty privilege""" and then they went on to say that people treat trophy and nickel differently just because trophy is hot,,., which is so???!? like how do you even come up with this?,??@
Do you ever think about that Cardan sat waiting for Jude to come home for months, writing her letters and going out of his mind and the part of him that had never been loved by anyone believed that she would never return to him? That the reason he never went after her is because he understood her choice — after all, if his own family hated the sight of him, why wouldn't Jude? And then when Jude finally appeared pretending to be Taryn, she truly believed he wouldn't know her as if he had not been dreaming of the day that she would stand before him again since the moment he watched her leave.
