Favorite popular pokemon(s) vs favorite under-rated one(s)

my fav pokemon is zigzagoon which i don't really think is POPULAR but i also don't think is underrated so uh... i think my favorite popular pokemon is jolteon? its my second favorite under zigzagoon and its an eeveelution so LOL

as for favorite underrated pokemon, i am a huge lumineon fan due to sentimental attachment but i never hear anyone talk about it (i actually completed the pokedex in diamond version as a child which was a massive feat for me at the time and somehow lumineon ended up being the last pokemon i needed... very clearly remember evolving finneon and then having a wave of pride wash over me and i've liked lumineon a lot ever since. used that one i evolved in battle revolution on wii) and uh... i'm a REALLY huge ninjask enjoyer it's my favorite bug type. shedinja too but i think that's less underrated because of its notorious ability and evolution method which sticks in people's minds. honorable mention to walrein because spheal is very popular but no one cares about its evos!! i love walrein!!! AAA

Hey! i have a quick (or long, depends on you!) question, You have a lot of AU's for your characters, so I'm wondering, which AU is YOUR personal fave? if u cant name one, top 3 or 5 works too

heheh ok this can 100% be a verrry loong answer. But the quick answer is easy.

My favorite au is the mafia au. I have a million ideas for that world, it comes super easy compared to some of my other stuff. And I just have fun. It also ties back to my really close friends since it started specifically because of them getting me into magic the gathering during the streets of new capenna set. Still need all the art cards for that set too

The others it's honestly hard to say. I could probably tell you my least favorite, but I don't wanna discourage anyone who likes it so I won't <3

Honestly each has merits. Depending on my mood I fall in love with another one all over again. Seer and the gods is fun cause it's one that feeds into a lot of my interests when i was growing up.

Ian and Mikhail as a whole are fun cause they are some of the oldest ocs I've had, but got a revamp for gt. (always brothers though :D)

The dreaming soul mates au is fun cause i can do strange methods of meetings in it. I keep having ideas for that one.

I could probably have you tell me an au, whether it's one I've listed as I might start or one I've started, and tell you what makes me happy with it.

I literally know nothing abt rain world what is it

ok ok so basically its like a survival game. you play as a slugcat (scug for short). theres 8 campaigns (stories) for each scug and a secret 9th one. if you dont have the DLC you can only pick from 3 scugs: survivor, monk, and hunter. if you have the DLC you can pick from 5: artificer, saint, gourmand, rivulet, and spearmaster (certain campaigns can only be unlocked by beating other campaigns). not gonna spoil too much on 9th one other than the fact that their name is enot or inv. also each scug has their own set of abilities (more explained under keep reading)

theres also a bunch of other creatures like lizards and squidcadas and batflies and a whole bunch of diff regions (areas) that you can travel to and some have diff variants depending on what campaign you play (but you gotta earn it). theres also these robot things called iterators but idk too much about them. but the main iterators are named Five Pebbles, Looks to the Moon, No Significant Harassment, and Seven Red Suns (I dont wanna spoil too much lol)

oh and. each day in rainworld is called a cycle. cycles differ in time from each other but at the end of each a heavy rain comes and if you aren't in a shelter (the equivalent of a safe zone when this happens) when it comes, you die. you also gotta have enough food to hibernate during each cycle (called "pips") otherwise you starve. this can either kill you or severely punish your next cycle (you can also hibernate before the rain comes). each time u survive a cycle ur karma level goes up. karma allows you to travel to diff regions.

all of its rlly pretty and pretty well made, especially the regions. its a fun game but its also sort of a rage game (you die a LOT in this game). the story is also really cool :]

oh for sure, and i've seen many others express the same thought, so you're definitely not alone there (i mean, we have proof theres literal vile mods that change his skin on nexus).

most people claim they don't like him because he's boring, which, not to be that person, but that's not a valid reason. because if they'd actually take the time to talk to him and do his quest properly they'd see he has just as much depth and complexity as the others. he's funny, charming, supportive, but has his flaws and internal struggles just like everyone else. he's a good aligned warlock, instead of being an evil one as usual. he's a completely fresh take and a much needed counter to all the bleakness of bg3... so what exactly is boring?

people will take the time to learn about the manipulative vampire, but not the kind warlock? no one has to outright say why for people to be suspicious of it.

i don’t usually listen to music while writing, but when i do my go-to is usually either animal crossing new leaf’s hourly osts or the cattails ost. i have a hard time passively listening to music so it’s more for active brainstorming, plus listening to music tends to give me the zoomies. today i did do some writing with a twitch vod playing in the background, though, and i’m not sure what that qualifies as.

Gonna answer these for Adira's story, because that's all my brain wants to think about at this moment.

💥 - What is the main conflict of the wip?

The main conflict I suppose is between truth and lies, light and darkness, that sort of thing. When the truth comes to light suddenly the lies are kinda shaky, but the people who formulated them did it for a reason. They want to keep power, so they'll do almost anything to keep it. ...I need to find a good worldbuild-y reason as to why they wouldn't simply kill Adira off, tbh.

🦋 - Which character has the biggest transformation?

Oooh, an interesting question. Ultimately I'd have to say Tom. Adira undergoes a complete shift in her beliefs, but in the end her personality doesn't change a great deal, if that makes sense? It's more that she grows up into the woman she was always going to be. Whereas Tom goes from having some really nasty ideas, and also a serious anger problem/tendency towards violence, to learning to control himself and correct his ideas. It takes a lot more active work from everyone involved to help him improve.

🤝 - How do the characters meet? (antagonist included!)

The antagonist meets the protagonist at her birth, because it's usual to have the father in the delivery room. :P Anyway, Adira meets Tom at school because he's new and looking rather lost and clueless and she just has to have that help-everyone mentality doesn't she. I'm not sure how they meet Neil, since despite the fact that I really like the scene I wrote about it a couple years ago, it probably doesn't fit.

🕳 - What’s a plot hole you just can’t seem to fix?

Seriously, why doesn't the Ruler simply order Adira outright killed rather than dumped on her doorstep mostly dead after the events of book 2 (?). Like isn't it gonna radicalise people more when they discover the government has messed up one of their own to the extent that, without the advancement of medical technology since our time, 90% of her body would be composed of scar tissue, and that's only the physical aspects of it. She'd disappeared and they didn't know if she was alive or dead; it would make better sense from the perspective of the government if they'd just executed her and the others never knew. (Hmm, suddenly that one AU idea is stretching its wings again.)

Also I'm pretty sure at least one of their number is exiled, so why wouldn't the rest of them be in one go? Surely it would be easier for the government if they all just disappeared, even if they weren't willing to kill them?

Oooh perhaps Theo might be behind this? Except why? The dude doesn't have a caring bone in his body. He expects praise for something very disturbing, and straight up says it to his wife during their epic argument after she discovers the truth about him. (Seriously, Dorothy should divorce him. But she won't, even though she won't let him stay any longer in what is technically her family home.) But maybe he doesn't want Adira to be killed? And it's known he has a lot of power in the government. Maybe that's it. <makes notes>

Incidentally, Theo is one of the only characters I desperately wish was real, and the reason for that is because I want to give him a good hard punch, and also to castrate him with a blunt knife.

I noticed in your ship tier list that your not a fan of any of the canon trio ships (honestly valid, I feel more or less the same). but in your rewrite, your writing zenitsu x nezuko (which is really cute so far) despite not shipping them.

so are you planning on rewriting all the canon ships but better? (I noticed you've also put down some ground work for mitsuri x obanai) or is this just with certain ships, since ik you hc tanjiro as aro spec?

Ooh, good question. :3

With Kanao x Tanjirou, the reason why the ship existed in canon was because Tanjirou was really the only driving force in Kanao's character development despite the story trying so hard to convince the readers otherwise. Because I gave her a ton of focus in RLD (and later on in a future arc), that ship has no use being here. I will admit, I was so glad I could make the cut knowing I have actual reasons outside of my personal opinions lmao.

With Aoi x Inosuke, they never had chemistry in the first place. Their Rewrite characterizations also would have been needlessly complicated with the introduction of romantic feelings.

Regarding Zenitsu x Nezuko and Obanai x Mitsuri, there are reasons within the Rewrite's narrative to keep these ships around. The next arc somewhat covers why so I'll refrain from elaborating until after.

I will say; in the past arcs, there have been a lot of scenes where Zenitsu clearly shows how much he loves being with Nezuko, but not too many the other way around. It's something to consider *wink*.
