Guess I’m a Korra - aka useless gay
So yknow how people either headcanon Korra as a flustered romantic or completely oblivious dingus (well majority of people) I found out what category I fit into today.
I was laying on the floor after dance just staring at the ceiling lost in my own thoughts when my lady friend lays down beside me, her body laying the opposite direction, so we were looking at each other upside down (not pertinent it’s just a cute memory I’d like to take note of)
And we’re talking and she brings up the Pony Magic Mike dance (which we haven’t really spoken about? We’ve been talking SO much but that’s kind of just been like WELL THAT HAPPENED)
Anyway I say “haha I was so nervous you have no idea, I wasn’t even sure you liked me” and there’s this long pause. I look over and she’s staring at me like I’ve grown a third head.
My face drops and I’m like “what? What did I say?” And she sits up and positions herself directly over my head and lightly smacks it. I laugh and ask what’s up and she’s like looking at me incredulously.
“You didn’t think I liked you? I thought YOU DIDNT LIKE ME! You never returned any of my flirting!!!”
I’m smiling up at her and say “okay sure... what flirting? You’re always so cool and collected.”
Her face begins to burn up and she composed herself, I can’t tell if she wants to burst out laughing or slap me again lol “Lottie... I asked you to sit on my lap one day and played with your hair, asking if you had a girlfriend and if you were interested in dating. You replied “yeah maybe if I met another gay girl, one minute I want to give Marcus a wedgie” and proceeded to burst across the room and tackle giant men”
I pause and think. “I thought that was a generic question”
She looks like she’s about to explode with frustration and I just grin wider.
“You liked me back then even?”
More burning in her face “I liked you back then even.”
I sit up and grab her face and she looks genuinely surprised, not sure what I’m gonna say. “I need you to understand one thing...” I say very seriously. She’s looking at me trying to read me. I continue, “I am a fucking moron.” She proceeds to “punch” me in the stomach before pulling me back up for the next dance class.
Yes I’m an idiot. But hey it worked out in the end ✌️💖

Korra Fitness Progress
So once again, I’ve fallen behind on actual workouts, but I’ve been a hell of a lot more active so I’m happy with it. I’ve also been spending a lot of my time with my family playing board games, watching films, discovering new trails, it’s been a blast. I’ve struggled a lot with my size and being happy. My BMI puts me at being overweight which is right, but I’m healthy and happy so I can’t be bothered with the number. I feel centered and peaceful which is something I couldn’t say a year ago. Do I still make mistakes? You bet I do, but I’m learning from them and embracing them even if they hurt. So yeah, keep being amazing fam and I know y’all can do it!!

Korra Fitness- 3/4/2019 + Life Update
Haha, long time since I’ve worked out!
Last year was a hot mess to work out, but I found a workout buddy, and she’s helping me to get motivated again. I’ve signed up for a Tough Mudder Race in June, and a couple of 5k’s in the summer (two of which...are back-to-back LMFAO WHYYY)
So!! Two weeks ago, we did arms. And we fucking absolutely SMASHEDDD IT! We did 9 FUCKINGGG exercises and it was BOMBBB.
Last week, we did a lighter shoulder workout, since my friend was sick.
Today- HOO BOY.
The last month has been hard; I went through a heartbreak, and am still healing. I’ve gotten a lot better, and I’m still moving on. :) However, the amount of SUPPORT I’ve gotten from my friends and family fucking is AMAZING. I’ve never felt so SURROUNDED by so much love and support, and i feel as if I’m in the middle of a ball of love. <3
I’ve worked to build my friendships closer, and to make my new friendships SUPER FUCKING BOMB! The first two weeks of the semester, i was working on a school play- I played a murderous twin LOL, in a murder mystery production!
I’ve been taking LOTS of dance classes, and i dunno if I’ve shared it with y’all here, but I’m dancing! :D I took a ballroom class last semester and I LOVED IT. So now, I’m taking 2 ballroom classes, and a Latin dance (which is spicccyyy ;). I NEVER thought I’d EVERRR love and move my body this way- so FREE and uncaring- and its absolutely AMAZING. (I suggest everyone to take a dance class! IT REALLY teaches you to get out of your comfort zone, and really learn something from the bottom-up). It’s 100% changed me as a person and I’m forever grateful for it.
As for the New Year and me...I’ve truly, truly, TRULYYY never felt fucking BETTER. Last year was a hot mess and it’s...just to SEE how much I’ve improved from the last year? ITS A FUCKING 180. Last year was the lowest I’ve ever been- this year has been the highest I’ve ever been. I’ve NEVER felt better than I do, right now (my abs are trembling LMFAO). I’m more positive, optimistic, kind, caring, LOVINGG, confident, brighter than I’ve EVER been. And I’ve NEVER experienced ANYTHINGG LIKE it before and ITS AMAZINGG.
I’m more patient with myself, more loving. I’m aware that if I make mistakes- that’s ABSOLUTELY okay. I’m SUPPOSED to. ALL my feelings and thoughts are valid- nothing but support and love for them. I’m rewiring a lot of negative thoughts I used to have and turning them into positive ones. I’m expressing more gratitude and love for myself, my family, and friends every FUCKINGGG day. AND GAHHH ITS JUST SO AMAZING!!! I’ve NEVERR felt like this before and it feels fucking AWESOME.
So, hah, here’s my workout!
Barbell Chest Presses- 3 sets of 10-12 reps, 40 lbs
Bicep Curls- 3 sets of 10, 15 lbs (this was a fucking MASTERPIECE. I’ve never done this much before 😭😭😭)
Barbell Squats- 3 sets of 10 reps, w/ 45 lbs, 55 lbs, 65 lbs- super BOMB!
Barbell Curls (30 lbs)- 3 sets of 12 reps (I’m REALLYY proud that I did 12 reps :), that’s 2 more than I usually do!
And oh. HOOO THESE ARE THE HOLY GRAIL!!!! I did Hammer Curls, with Overhead Curls- fucking 3 sets of 20 REPS WITH FUCKING 15 LBS. ITS BEEN SOOO LONG SINCE IVE FUCKING LIFTED 15 LB DUMBBELLS AND I DID IT!!!! :DDD my left arm is usually weaker so I thought I would REALLYY have trouble lifting it, but I DIDNT?!?! KDKSKSK and every rep was slow and measured to get the maximum lift out of it!! AND IM JUST SOOO FUCKING PROUD OF MYSELF!!!! KCMKSKSK. I also did a power set of 5 reps, so I ended up doing about 71 reps of these <33
Lmfao then I did pull-ups!! 1 set of 15 reps on each leg! I did the thing where I stood on a stool, one leg hanging out, and did an assisted (?) pull-up that way
Then- OOOOH. I did tricep pulldowns with the machines! IVE NEVERR DONE THESE BEFORE AND I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO 27.7 LBS. THEN I DID 32.7 LBS DIMCSISKS. And I just😭😭😭
IVE NEVER DONE SO MUCH BEDORE!!! I DID FUCKINGGG 3 sets of 10 reps, and it fucking was WOW LOOOL. I did an extra set of 5-10 reps just to test and challenge myself and it was AMAZING. I’m just so...PROUD of challenging myself, with fucking 32.7 lbs 😭😭😭
THENNNN- :DD. I did medicine ball bicycle ab crunches! I did 3 sets of 10 reps, and dropped an 8 lb ball on my stomach lmao. I used a 12 lb ball first, but my stomach was screaming so ;___;. BUT
Y’ALLLL
I decided to push myself and do an extra 10 REPS. BUT THEN. HOOOO THEN
I REALLYY DECIDED TO CHALLENGE MYSELF
I did a rep where I did 5 bicycle crunches in a row, then dropped the medicine ball. Then, I did another one of those. And my stomach and legs were already screaming, but...I really wanted to explore the concept of ‘trusting my body in what it needs to do.’ Because, @threehoursfromtroy wrote in her fic, Found and Finding, about Asami bounding off a tree, and her ‘trusting her body in what it needs to do.’ And I was INSPIRED. So, the last rep, I did 10 bicycle crunches and dropped the ball on myself :).
I FEEEL SOOOO FUCKING PROUD AND HAPPY AND INSPIRED!!! And, when i first started working out in Korra Fitness- I had the sensation of freedom. Just freedom to explore my body and how strong it is, freedom to see how far i can GO and PUSH myself. I didn’t feel that at all last year, but now i do. It’s a familiar feeling of...discovery...and pushing my boundaries and goals, and just DOING THINGS just to see if I can do them. And it’s...WOOW it’s a fuckinf BLESSSINGG that I can feel this way, and that I have it. :’)
I promised myself that I would get better in 2019- mentally, physically, and emotionally. I’m learning so much more, inspiring, being inspired, loving, and most of all- I am living the HECK out of life, hah. I love you all SOOOO MUCH, and kudos for reading the longest life update ever ;)

Korra Fitness December Update (12/21)
December has been a REALLY good month. <3
My mental health has gotten considerably better, and I’m able to reassure myself with positive words. Wheneve I don’t want to do something, I try to work through why! Like, right now, I’m kinda just laying in bed, but I’ve figured out that, there’s just a lot of things to do, and it’s kinda overwhelming. So, after this post, ima go write them down, and figure it out :).
There’s been a LOT of happiness and sunshine the past few days, a week ago, so- it’s cherishing. :)

Korra Fitness- Adidas
So, fam...I have a....a revelation to make.
A few months ago (2 months and 18 days ago, actually sdkfksj), I met a guy on the bus, on the way to L.A (I was going to the Turf Wars Signing!! ^__^, which...I haven’t told y’all yet. For, uhh...reasons DSKFJSKF (don’t get me wrong, it was AMAZINGGG DSKJFKJSD, but uhh...yeah LOL).
But UHHH...I had made a couple friends on the bus, and they’d asked me why I was going to the signing. I told them about Korra Fitness, and kinda got their jaws to dropp xDDD
However, this DUDEEE that sat RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, was like ‘Y’all should talk to Adidas.’
AND I WAS LIKE SKDJFKSJFD WHAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT???!!!!
AND IT TURNS OUT- he’s a professional soccer player, and he’s SPONSORED by a sports company, and he said that Adidas would probably be HELLAAA DOWNNN to listen about Korra Fitness.

Day 364 (10/15)- Korra Fitness
Y’all, I’m tireddd DXX, I just got back from Theatre Rehearsal LOOOL
But...idk. I don’t like NOT trying, and I REFUSEEEE to try to NOT make this one of my best days ever ZMCIMDSMND
So, here we go :)
I did 30 wall push-ups (my goal this year was to learn to do a proper push-up!!! :D)

Korra Fitness Post- 8/14
Hey, y’all :). Just wanted to say...I MISS y’all, and love y’all DEARLY. I’ve been thinking of y’all, a lot. <33
And idk...I really do think I’ve gotten better within the past few days. Ever since I got back from vacay, I’ve done some HUGEE things, regarding mental fitness.
First, on 8/3, I posted a HELLAAA long Facebook post about my struggles this year. It seems like a little, but holy fucking SHITTT, Y’ALL I SPENT THREE HOURS ON THAT SHIT.
And I did not expect...the TREMENDOUS amount of support I received. It was phenomenal. Truly, so, so MANY of my friends were there for me, friends I didn’t even know were there, or friends I’ve forgotten...I’m really lucky to have such a loving community. :) <3
Secondly, I posted my whiteboard up! <33

I take a LOONG time to process things, guys, and THIS WAS A HUGE THING FOR ME FKDNDNDJ. But YES, I do...WHOLEHEARTEDLY accept that those who put effort into my gift, did it because they love me. :)

8/5...I wrote a little. A LOT, really. :) <
8/6-8/7: Really, just...meditating a lot. Thinking. Accepting my thoughts, sitting in the PRESENT. I am a girl, who usually runs away from feelings, because they’re too HARD to process. I don’t wanna do that shit, I’d rather FEEL happiness and positivity. But...if one is ever to find *true* love and happiness, you GOTTA accept your feelings, and work through them 😫.
HONESTLY, I LOVEEEE thinking. Like, I LOVE thinking about the world, and its little intricacies, and its dot-dot-dots...that’s me, I’m a thinker 😫😂. I realized some REALLY cool things about myself, and what I perceive to be my purpose in life. Which is just...REALLY COOL. :) <3
8/8-8/9 was preparing for my trip to L.A xD
8/10 was THE DAY!!!!! <333 xD Well, I arrived in L.A, and...I met these BOMBBBBB- ASS girls, and HONESTLY, I’m in love lol
8/11- y’all...it was truly, TRULY, one of the BEST days of my life. :)
But, otherwise...it’s been a lot of journaling, reading (I even checked out library books! I LOVEEEEE reading about history and dope-shit like that, so I FUCKKNGGNGNGNNF got ‘Women of The Frontier’ and ‘Women Heroes of The American Revolution’ 😭👌🏼. Both, are very near and dear to my heart, and I love them very much. :) <33
Also, tho...I dunno. Got my sluggish moments. My *meh* moments. But to be FUCKING honest, if I’m not living life, and trying to be my BEST, then what the fuck am I doing? Your BEST is something that NEEDS to be worked at, but...I’ve had a lot of sluggish moments over this summer, and the last few weeks, that I’m REALLY not too pleased about Dx.
But, then again...I’ve also come to realize the beauty of growing. I’ve been thinking of myself from last year, to now, and a whole lot has CHANGED. FOR FUCKING INSTANCE LOL, I’m now part of the bombest-ass fitness community that I helped create :D, am now a HUGEE member of the Korrasami community 😫👌🏼🙌🏼, have met people and heroes that I never THOUGHT I would, have done incredible, amazing, fucking unfathomable things...idk, I’m INCREDIBLE. I should stand to tell myself that more often, because I don’t hear it enough, from me. 😫👌🏼
So, life has a lot of bright spots right now. There’s a LOT to do for Korra Fitness, the Korra community, my travel blog, my work-out plans, my...new/old-found realization of the EFFECT I have had on people (which, I’ve gone through old screenshots of, and EVERYONE should know how they have a positive effect on others :), and just...living life. :Di
I only have a WEEK left of summer (6 days as I type this 😫🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏻‍♀️)... and uhh...LETS MAKE THE MOST OF IT LOOOL. 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🙌🏼😁👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Also, tho, @zelegendaryfit has inspired me to make this post, because uhhh, he’s fucking awesome AND mental fitness is important. So, here ya go, bud. :) I’ma try to update with both mental and physical fitness updates. 😭😭❤️
