tumblr blocking feature is weird.

i don’t mind being blocked by someone. i block bots mainly, but sometimes i block human blogs if genuinely toxic ones somehow keep showing up. it’s good to have a way to shape my experience here.

but if someone blocked me and i found out that i’ve been blocked, then i block them back, i should be able to expect them not showing up on my dash. but their posts still do!

it’s just annoying when that person’s posts (or reblogs of their posts) show up on my dash and i unwittingly try to interact with them, then seeing some broken error messages or uhhh what? nothing here type of condescending shit… believe it or not, doesn’t feel good.

also i’m kinda curious of what about my blog caused them blocking me. i keep seeing their posts or reblogs so obviously those people and i are in each other’s orbit, so we’re interested in similar things. then what made them annoyed enough to say “shut up forever” to me? if i did something actually wrong, then i’d like to know and fix it.

well, most likely tumblr would not gonna do anything about this anyway. 😂

Annoying but hilarious tumblr thing

All my good indepth analysis posts rarely garner more than five notes. These are the ones I love and cherish and spend days working on. Probably my album reviews and movie reviews and whatnot. If you know my Oasis analysis's and book analysis's.

But all my bad on the whim posts grab hundreds of likes and blow up. These are the dumbest most "goddamn I'm ashamed of these" posts that I write randomly and it's hilarious how big they get.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

Okies.

My first impression of them My first impression of Hopper was that he was husbando. I was instantly in love with him, respectfully, of course. I was a 1980s child and there was a lot I loved about the show and I loved the kids, of course, but as an older woman, I was also very interested in the adult characters and especially Hopper and Joyce.

When I think I truly started to like them (or dislike them, if you've sent me a character I don't like) Instantly in season 1. I wouldn't say I started disliking him ever, but in later seasons, I'm not as interested as I was in s1. It could be due to writing, or just a phase. 7. A quote of them that you remember Mornings are for coffee and contemplation. 8. Your favorite outfit of them His sheriff getup. 9. Your least favorite outfit of them Floral Tom Selleck style shirt in season....3? 11. What’s the first thing you think about when thinking about the character? How fierce he is and unstoppable when he wants to be. 14. Best storyline they had Season 1. S1 was the best all around and especially with Hopper's story, it just was so well done. 15. Worst storyline they had When he started being the asshole dad to his teenage daughter and her teenage boyfriend and the asshole guy who she (Joyce) is just not that into. 16. A childhood headcanon He was a total nerd, like the kids, mostly because I know David Harbour was one. 18. How do you think they were as a kid? (Like, were they shy, noisy, wild, etc) Because of vibes I got in season 1 and interviews David Harbour gave back in season 1, I think he was very much like old Hopper. Cranky, physicall and in love with Joyce. In fact, the Duffers told him back then that, as a backstory, Jim and Joyce had been high school sweethearts, which, I think, is very obvious, they later discarded because it was never talked about in the show. But I, much like Harbour, kept that discarded bit of lore close to my heart. 25. When do you think they acted the most ooc Season 3. 26. When do you think they were being "themselves" the most? Seasons 1 and 2.
