SHIVERS: The world is slowly waking up, shaking off the remains of the night. The wind plays with the nets, hanging from the railing on the pier, carrying the smell of freshly burned wood far, far away from the inhabited areas. Somewhere in the distance, a shutter opens with a loud creak. The village comes to life once more.
Nearly a year ago I asked if anyone wants to make an art collab with me, and one of the people who volunteered was @amrehmar who proposed to make an animation one. I did the line art, she put the beautiful colours on and I added the animated parts and here we are! I hope y'all will like it just as much as I do.
@amrehmar thank you for taking this journey with me, it was a real pleasure to make some art together :>

It strikes me that Ed knowing Stede wants to hear “You wear fine things well” from him is massive growth. He understands now that Stede is not as steady as he seems, that he needs reassuring. He realizes Stede treasures and relies on his opinion, not just of Stede as a pirate, but of Stede as a man. He understands Stede gets panicky and is helped by comfort and praise and gentleness as much as he is. He sees that he has something to give Stede not just as a captain but as a lover.

CHECK OUT THIS REALLY COOL BOOK ABOUT AFRICAN-JEWISH COOKING!!
Michael Twitty, the James Beard award-winning author of the acclaimed “The Cooking Gene”,explores the cultural crossroads of ✡️Jewish and African diaspora cuisine and issues of memory, identity, and food🥘.
To Twitty, the creation of African-Jewish cooking is a conversation of migrations and a dialogue of diasporas offering a rich background for inventive recipes and the people who create them.
The question that most intrigues him is not just who makes the food, but how the food makes the people. Jews of Color are not outliers, Twitty contends, but significant and meaningful cultural creators in both Black and Jewish civilizations.
“Koshersoul” includes 48-50 recipes.

“I’m not even gonna lie, I’m just so fucking obsessed with you.” with gojo :devious:
“I’m not even gonna lie, I’m just so fucking obsessed with you.”
Reacting to the sound of his voice, you look up from the vegetables you're chopping, just as the knife hits the hard surface with a loud thud. Gojo is still sifting through your pantry, trying to locate the bag of lentils you asked him for a few minutes ago. You watch his back, he's turned, still focusing on the task at hand, despite the fact that he's made your heart flutter. Even now, despite the fact that you are so obviously his and him yours, and that it's just the two of you in your home together preparing to share a meal out of hundreds, someday thousands, you can feel your cheeks warm bashfully.
It's one thing to know it, but it's another thing to hear it out loud. You fear you'll never tire of hearing it.
But for now, you slide vegetables into a pan and over the sizzle you reply, boldly,
"Duh."
Gojo turns sharply, and his eyes seem to gleam with mischief.
"Confident, aren't you?"
As he approaches, with your request in hand, he leans over you, electric blues devouring you greedily yet again. He sets the bag to the side, keeping his gaze on you then grins widely as you return his look with just as much intensity.
"What are you gonna do? Stop?" you ask, coyly.
"Never."
You expected more banter, but he's caught you off guard. His lips press onto your forehead and soon his hands are in search of skin too, settling on your cheeks gently.
"Couldn't if I tried," he adds.
Your hands cover his gently, and you are overcome.
If I have just you, I have everything is said between you, without words.

nemona feels like an obscure blorbo instead of the main rival character from the latest pokemon game because to get to her really good content from people who really get it, you first have to wade through the ocean of yandere pervert obsessive stalker annoying punchable bimbo amazon goddess interpretations of...
... a neurodivergent and possibly disabled high schooler who's desperately trying to make any friends or get any support from her rich neglectful family - while everyone in her school is jealous of their own imagined version of a privileged asshole version of her they made up - who deeply and platonically loves and supports the one new kid who agreed to take the time to get to know and respect her and her special interest without having to hold back her true self
unlike her, it's not great!
kinda feels like she has the same problem in our world that she does in hers.
