Good strategies to consider in this book. It’s nice to know some neuroscience to make sense of infants, because infants don’t make much sense to me! Attunement is key! Mimicking emotions and returning to joy. Expressing joy through all the senses.

Idk I thought the Seidr "Have a child with me 🥺" thing was funny (also on the ace spectrum!). Like it was shocking and a "Dude COME ON" (negative, derogatory @ the writers) moment, but. You gotta fight stupid with stupid. Alright I'm your absent transmasc father now (@ Kvasir -- or Heidr? Honestly can't remember how that flowed lmfao). I'm the world's first deadbeat transdad. I'm pulling other characters into the dynamic. I'm making this other guy I'm obsessed with a stepdad now. Dad who stepped up. All of this will be forgotten in due time anyway (when the next Book drops!).

On a more serious note though, I actually do genuinely like Seidr and all of her alternate selves... Kvasir, Heidr, Seidr, Gullveig. Especially since they look so different from each other (similar, but different enough to pass as other characters completely). That's something that's special to me, with my own personal experiences with being trans. Especially Gullveig, as someone who became Something Else when she wasn't prepared for it, very suddenly, and it hurt her. Badly. To me, it feels like a story of learning how to be kind to yourself despite it all. All versions of you.

Not Kenjaku giving Yuuji his first eviction notice hahaha. Also in the time between the last message the Tik Tok transdad finally gave birth! Apparently they were thinking of doing an induction if they didn't go into labor naturally by next week since he barely reached his due date, apparently his last two kids were both born way earlier and it was the first time he had a birth and pregnancy that went this long. He and baby look good and everyone is cheering in the comment section which makes it double nice.

Glad he managed to go through it without major complications. Congrats to the successful birth!

A really good article. I love that folks are becoming more and more accepting of LGBT+ at earlier ages. There’s so much ageism about “just a phase” or “too young to know” BS. It’s refreshing to see this level of understanding and acceptance.

Changes don't magically stop at 5 years. Realistically 5 years on t is a drop in the bucket. Some of my biggest gains happened near 10 years and beyond so don't lose hope. Pre, 5 years, almost 16 years.
