Transmasc on tumblr, if someone you can't (or don't want to) came out to notice your binder, breast or something like that, tell them you have gynecomastia. Trust me, most of them will joke a little bit about it, but won't bat an eye.
Transfem, if someone notice that your chest is flat, or see you shirtless, tell them you had to have a surgery. They probably won't ask for details.
Remember to stay safe, this is a very scary time to be transgender, don't feel guilty because you're protecting yourself!

well actually our body does have its own gender! somehow. i don't get it at all. but the body's gender isn't cis even though we're untransitioned
Huh! That's actually pretty interesting.
For ourselves, I tend to default to saying we're bodily genderfluid since the body houses multiple headmates of different genders, and the body's gender is the gender of whoever is fronting at any given moment as far I'm concerned. 🤷‍♀️

I have some important safety information I thought an old (trans) man can tell you.
I have been reading and hearing a shocking number of people of minority groups going up to potentially dangerous people and "call them out" for maybe their shirt or a logo, a tattoo, etc.
Please do not approach random people, especially since you are (maybe) associating with someone dangerous from a hate group. If you walk up to them, you are the aggressor legally. You are legally in many cases responsible if something happens between you and that person. Defamation is real, and if you call out the wrong person, you can be sued. If it is truly a person of hate you are putting yourself in a position that is not good. Getting physically injured is real.
You will solve nothing going up to a hateful person and "calling them out." You, at this point, are just as bad. You went out of your way to bring someone down or tell them what they already know and now they feel you are proving their point. You now are bringing hate into the world, by approaching that person.
You should never assume anything. What happens if that person is not part of a hate group? Maybe doesn't know a hate group is using this logo.
Even worse, what if they are dangerous and hateful? Someone truly hateful will not allow you to easily walk away.
Do not put yourself in dangerous situations like these!
You do not know what people are capable of, and the internet makes everyone easier to target. If they live in your town they can find you if they want to bad enough, the internet has made people too easy to find.
You are not karma, you do not need to call anyone out.
You are not going to fix their views, so just stay away. Please.
Enough minorities are murdered and assaulted. You dont need to make yourself a target.
Help an old person load their groceries, ask a mother with squirmy children if she needs some help loading up her car. Help someone in need if you want to do some good.
Please be safe.

To all the baby trans who flattened their chesticles with a binder, here's a boat of warning to remind you on why it's so important to bind correctly.
The start of my transition: I wore 3 sports bars and homemade binder at once, 12 hours a day, for 6 months. Bought professional binder and continued doing it for 12 hours a day for another 6 months, before tinder spot started showing up where my chest: now realizing the danger I started wearing a binder for maximum of 6 hours... still basically everyday until I get a job before driver's license and bind for 13 hours (most of that time waiting to be picked up) 5 days a week for three months... and spent the last 2 months trying to fix it by now only working 2-3 days a week... with the same 13 hour problem...
Now I'm laying in bed unable to sleep, cuz: my sides hurt if I lay on them too long, my hands go MORE numb if I lay on my back, and laying on my stomach makes me nauseous.
I also have constant spots in my vision possibly cause by nerve damage, received by prolong compression of my torso...
Your habits don't have to be as bad as mine was/is for it to be bad news.
When in between sizes: go up, never down.
6 to 8 hours
Stretch regularly
Take breaks when you can
Wash your binder regularly
Find shortcuts to avoid unnecessary binding
Don't brand worship, look for best quality in your price range each time you need a new binder.
And LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!
Bind safely, Please 🙏

I came up with a super cool idea right now you guys wanna hear it? Okay so it's called Extreme Top/Extreme Bottom Surgery and basically it's like regular surgery for people who wanna physically transition but instead of normal practices like with doctors and stuff it's super hardcore and metal and brutal. Like you take a hook to your breasts or dick and like it gets ripped off with blood and gore everywhere but you also get cool emo ass photos of it and it'll be like a torture room but with spikes and stereotypically gothic imagery and shi. I think my idea sounds awesome af I should get a Noble Peace Prize for that yo. -Sincerly from OP, who is a transgender dude lmao(Please don't take the edgy and bloody violent stuff super seriously, I don't condone human suffering of the physical sort irl unless you're a masochist like me and consent to it:D!!).

Spencer & Ryan Headcanon: Lifelong Favourite Cousins
A favourite headcanon in my AU is the close relationship Spencer shares with his younger* cousin, Ryan. Ryan is also transmasc and is fairly open about the fact that he used to be called Rhianna before starting his transition and moving to Sodor. Guided to Sodor by Spencer - and with some help from his eldest cousin, Gordon - Ryan gets to see Spencer much more frequently.
* Ryan's basis predates Spencer's (even Gordon's, I think), so he would be the eldest cousin in reality, but in my AU, Rhianna/Ryan was a late addition to the family and is therefore the youngest.
QUICK NOTE: The following is NOT SHIP ART of Spencer and Ryan. They are cousins and have a close - but appropriate - cousinly relationship. It is partly inspired by the relationship I have with my own favourite cousin.
Spencer and Rhianna: The Childhood Years
Tumblr media
Spencer and Rhianna bonded almost from the moment they met and became inseparable as children. As they grew up, they became the most trusted people in one another's lives. This led them to confide in and come out to each other - Spencer as gay and Rhianna as trangender - before anyone else and led them to support one another when coming out to the world.
Ryan's move to Sodor was helped by Gordon putting his name forward to Sir Topham Hatt as a good fit for the new branch line. But it was Spencer, who started the move to keep 'little Rhee' safe from the threats on the mainland. With the Duke and Duchess of Boxford spending much more time on Sodor, Spencer is able to make more time to maintain his rivalry with Gordon, and now can spend more time with the person he currently loves most in the world: Ryan.
Tumblr media
Ryan's arrival on Sodor has enabled the other engines to see a side of Spencer that they hadn't believed could exist. With Ryan, Spencer is relaxed, affectionate, and much more toned down. The two are regularly seen together, just enjoying one another's company.

I am fuming. The National Post has made a three-page article about how parents are feeling left out by not being told their child is trans without the child's permission. It deadnames the first kid they mention, frequently uses, "biological gender" terminology, cites worries and a British study (methodology unverified) that says there is a rapid increase in teenagers identifying as trangender, quotes parents worried that schools are trying to push their kids along a "medical path" without addressing the "mental health" first. And as far as I know, it doesn't interview these teenagers themselves or any doctors or counsellors who up to date in trans mental health. Just blatantly one-sided and presented as unbiased. This kind of propaganda is going to get children killed. Cause guess what, not every parent is safe to come out as trans to. And kids know their own situations better than anyone else.
