I feel like the Universe gives us signs. We just don't listen. . Maybe when your path is just filled with obstacles... the Universe is trying to get you to change course. . I've spent so much of life silencing my intuition. Believing what I *wanted* to be true, instead of what my gut knew to be true. As though I could will things to be good. . I've been learning to listen differently. Listen to my own voice. Listen to my body - what makes me tense up? What makes my anxiety skyrocket? And what makes me feel peaceful? Paying more attention to the signs in the Universe, the stories around me, to lead me the right way. . Today I choose JOY. This week has been a whirlwind, but as I reflect tonight I am finding so many things to celebrate ❤️ ➡️ Family time outside ➡️ Getting workouts in everyday ➡️ Making time for personal development daily ➡️ Fueling my body with nutrients while allowing a few treats without guilt Life is about finding a balance. Life is about being grateful. Life is about being present. And I can say in all certainty my mindset would be far different during this pandemic if it wasn’t for my family, friends, and my amazing team. I started an at-home workout program to get me through all this social isolation and I didn't really want to really think about my workouts. What I didn’t know when I signed up was how much more I would get from this community other than a great workout. This journey has lead me a community of women who grow together, inspire each other and push each other to be the best person you can be. This community fills my bucket. #everyday I am tough because of the positive self talk I have gained. I am a fighter because others believe in me. I am determined because I have others holding me accountable. Happy Sweater Weather 🔥 Tonight I am thankful for the community the gym brings. I got to hug my dear sister @anna_j_navarro , pound my heart out with my two Beths @beth.c.mears , and catch up with an old friend in the hall which lead to hanging out with her after our workouts. The word that kept repeating itself as we caught up was “season,” because life was a whole different season when we first met. When I think of each friend I saw tonight they all reflect different seasons. One isn’t greater than another, just different. We’re partially through this Autumn, and tonight reminded me that I need to stop and be deeply thankful for the season I’m in. God has brought me to and through every past seasons I’ve walked through, or that He’s carried me through, and this one is no different! Thankful for this time, for the @ymca , and for relationships.
