This book is a definite read for all. ❤️

This book is pure fiction. But the way it has been written, makes you feel that it is not. I did not, for a second even, think that this was fiction. The purity, the truth, the turn of events, the true emotions, is what makes this book what it is. There was a point where there was a twist and when I read it, I literally yelled out "MUM??!" 😂 You'll get it if you read it. But this has been a lovely journey!

Never Really MINE

At one point in time you could have been, but I was selfish. I wanted you, I knew I wanted you. But I still chose him. We are Best Friends, and now that's all we ever will be. The "what if's" and "could have been" no longer exist. My mistake was thinking you would always be there... waiting for me to be ready for US. Our chance at happiness and love. When I was ready... you had already found her. Someone searching for what you had been waiting for. Someone who was ready. Someone who isn't me. I know you were never really MINE. I thought one day you would be though, just like you did. I envy her. She is smart, pretty, and yours. The thing is we both can't call you ours. At one point in time I would have told you everything you meant to me, how much I LOVE YOU, how it should be me your with... not her. Now, I realize I have to let go of what was never mine. To keep you in my life as a friend is far more important than losing you because I can't have you. So I try to act ok. I try to act like it doesn't hurt. I ask how y'all are, and the kids you stepped up to help raise. I'm not letting go of you, I'm just letting go of the hope to be yours, the life we could have had, the time I could have called you mine.
