Found out today that Kentucky (the state I was born in and that my birth certificate is filed with) requires you to have gender affirming surgery before you can get your gender marker changed.

This basically means that I can get EVERY OTHER IDENTIFYING DOCUMENT AMENDED WITH MY NAME AND GENDER MARKER CHANGE EXCEPT MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

Just one more reason to get top surgery, but I need help affording it!

So, as most of you should be aware by the topic of this blog, I am trans.

I recently escaped my lifelong abusive and dangerous living situation and am now looking to start a new life as the person I was always meant to be, not the one I was forced into being.

So my fiancé set up a fundly for me via their account in order to finance the entire thing, and I would really appreciate any and all help you guys can give for this, even if it is just to reblog.

This surgery would mean so insanely much to me. It would genuinely be a massive part of not only my transition but also my recovery from the trauma I had to endure until only two weeks ago.

Hey everyone! In all the bad news going on right now, here's some good news! I'm scheduled for top surgery! I'm well aware that there's so many other more important things to donate to right now, which is why any funds I don't end up using to pay for the surgery costs will go towards ZaKa, a humanitarian organization that's been working hard to recover and identify the bodies of victims of war and all mass casualty events. I need a wheelchair

Hi tumblr,

I'm raising money to get a wheelchair, some gloves, and other accessories, as well as some things that I'll need for my top surgery such as button-down short sleeve shirts, and to cover any bills that may arise while I am unable to work during my recovery time.

I am linking an am*zon wishlist with the accessories and wheelchair, and my gofundme in hopes that I can get some donations, however, I will also be attempting to do commissions regularly and run concurrent crochet courses.

Top Surgery Funding!

I know this is a long shot, especially since I don't have many followers, but figured I'd give it a shot anyway. After over 3 years of trying, I finally got confirmation for top surgery! The date will be April 30th, and while I do have funds to cover it, the quote I was given ended up being $3,000 more than I expected. My wonderful roommate (who will be my caretaker during my recovery) ended up making a gofundme to help cover costs, and I've already received way more than I thought I would, but I could still use help to cover the additional cost.
